House vacation rentals in Saint-Michel-Escalus

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet lakeside setting, as if we were alone in the world. We were very well supported by our host, available and very kind. Extremely comfortable bedding, beautifully decorated, clean and functional accommodation and very enjoyable indoor jacuzzi! We'll be happy to go back!

Our group had an amazing stay at the Villa. All the rooms were thoughtfully designed, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grilling, and the pool area was so great to spend time in we barely left the house. Location is close to the water and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Would happily return!

This house was amazing. The layout, facilities and most of all the pool we're all excellent. The garden was very secure for our 10 month old whippet, we were able to just let her out and she had plenty of space to wander and explore without worrying. The house itself is well situated between the town and lake and also just a 10 minute walk to the supermarket. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommend Mickael’s place. We stayed for a week with a group of friends and had a lovely time. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor area of the house and the proximity to many activities + beach.

The accommodation is faithful to the description and photos. Very peaceful and functional. We really enjoyed the very bright living room and the two terraces. Stephanie was clear in her instructions and always available. We are delighted with our stay!

Great value for the money. Thank you for the little extras for the little one (baby bed, potty, booster chair...) Thank you also for the bikes, one with a baby carrier, which was available. It was very nice to be in such a quiet and peaceful place and to be able to see the chickens, look for the eggs, the children also enjoyed seeing the little chick, the turtles during your spouse's visit. They were very happy to be able to play with your children's indoor and outdoor games and toys. Finding a swing and a slide was also a plus for the kids. We appreciated the fact that there is no TV and wifi, we even decided to put all the phones down throughout the stay. A 4-day weekend without screens, the best! Claire and Alex are very friendly hosts and were available for questions and tips throughout the trip. The house has everything you need and has a perfect location with large garden. Walking distance to beach and downtown. Had a very nice vacation. Merci!

We had a 3 night stay here and wish it was longer! Such a clean and peaceful place. Super close to the beach to catch some waves, eat good food and simply enjoy the beach or go for a walk in nature. There was a massive fridge, nice if you’re with more people and want to have a nice bbq night. We were only with 2 and the house really felt like coming home. Indoor and outdoor. Nice spot for my morning Yoga and breakfast in the sun. The overall design makes it fun and brings you in complete holiday mode. The aircon keeps the house nice and cool. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Alexandra always responded quickly and is very accommodating. In the height of summer, it could get warm in the upper bedrooms, as the air conditioning only covers the main room on the ground floor. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place to stay with a great beach location.

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

Laurent is responsive and his information is clear. The house is old, comfortable but cold upon arrival. You can hear the noise of traffic in bedroom 2 especially since a sewer is right in front of the window. It should also be noted that there is no electric car charging station as indicated in the list of amenities at the time of our reservation. But there is a public kiosk on a parking lot a few minutes walk from the house.

Quiet accommodation with a terrace and a large garden, close to the coast, perfect for varying the beaches. Christophe had reserved (for my husband and our baby) a lot of thoughtful touches: another very pleasant aperitif, for example a high chair for baby.

We had a great time at this charming place. Ideal location in the cool forest. But be careful anyway for those more sensitive to heat in summer, there is no air conditioning and everything is made of bay windows. Also, beware of my arachnophobic friends, this type of accommodation is a little challenging. Otherwise, the accommodation is very charming and comfortable, although the two additional bedrooms are quite cramped for anything other than children.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!
