House vacation rentals in Saint-Michel-Escalus

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet lakeside setting, as if we were alone in the world. We were very well supported by our host, available and very kind. Extremely comfortable bedding, beautifully decorated, clean and functional accommodation and very enjoyable indoor jacuzzi! We'll be happy to go back!

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

We spent a whole month here and we had a really great experience ! The house was perfectly equipped and we really did not miss anything. Our two dogs also absolutely loved it here. The little town of Leon was also super cute. And within a 10min car ride we were able to reach anything else we needed ( beach/ ocean/ other restaurants / towns etc). Would absolutely come again♥️

The house is spacious and very well-equipped, the pool is very nice! The many bathrooms and toilets are a real plus when you live at 8. The only slight "downside" is that the house overlooks a fairly busy road but on the other hand the windows insulate very well from noise and in the evening there are fewer cars anyway so it didn't bother us too much.

Highly recommend Mickael’s place. We stayed for a week with a group of friends and had a lovely time. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor area of the house and the proximity to many activities + beach.

The house is exactly as described and is finished to a very high standard. There are top quality appliances, furniture & amenities throughout. It was also very clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The house is very well located. Hossegor is full of great restaurants & shops. The lake is a 3 minute drive (also walkable) and the ocean is about 8mins. Etienne was a great host. He was very responsive & helpful before and during our stay and made sure everything was perfect for us. We would happily come back again.

Our group had an amazing stay at the Villa. All the rooms were thoughtfully designed, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grilling, and the pool area was so great to spend time in we barely left the house. Location is close to the water and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Would happily return!

Exceptional view overlooking the Sare valley, with breathtaking scenery in good weather. The cottage is large, authentic, and perfectly equipped to accommodate up to 10 people. The proximity of the GR allows you to consider a hike to the Rhune, then return to rest with peace of mind. We recommend it!

Quiet accommodation with a terrace and a large garden, close to the coast, perfect for varying the beaches. Christophe had reserved (for my husband and our baby) a lot of thoughtful touches: another very pleasant aperitif, for example a high chair for baby.

We had a great weekend at Alexandra's house, who was responsive during our exchanges and very nice. Very well furnished and decorated house; Contis is a great place to spend time at the ocean. Thank you!

Very nice accommodation, functional, clean, in a very quiet neighborhood. Large garden equipped with swing, garden furniture, parasol, hammock, water point and above all very well shaded by trees! Baby accessories with travel crib, booster and step stool, very practical ;) The location is ideal, we had our bikes and could easily reach the town center (5 min), Saint Girons beach and Léon pond among others, via bike paths in the pine forest most of the time. Ideal place to stay for families with very calm swimming for the little ones by the Léon pond if the waves are too big by the ocean ;) However, we were inconvenienced by the smell from the nearby resin factory, which depends on the wind direction. Only annoying outdoors and intermittently. Thank you for this trip!

The place is great for relaxing. The environment is very pleasant and the calm is very appreciable. You feel very good outside and inside. We stayed as 3 couples with 3 children under 3 years old, everything went very well.

We had a lovely stay at Gilles's. The house is very well located, very clean and comfortable. We were hosted very well by Gilles who gave us all the information to have a good stay. We will come back and recommend!

We had a great time at this charming place. Ideal location in the cool forest. But be careful anyway for those more sensitive to heat in summer, there is no air conditioning and everything is made of bay windows. Also, beware of my arachnophobic friends, this type of accommodation is a little challenging. Otherwise, the accommodation is very charming and comfortable, although the two additional bedrooms are quite cramped for anything other than children.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!
