Vacation rentals with beach access in Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Ideal for couple . Location of the studio in the center, making it unnecessary to travel by car (close to the sea, restaurants, shops, casino, etc.) Victorian, very available and accommodating. We recommend this beautiful place!! Thanks to Victorien for this lovely getaway!! David and Magalie

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

A really perfect place for a couple who like a quiet stay. Two smallish squares offer very good local facilities and restaurants, while Carrefour local is only a one minute walk away, next to a cycle hire shop and a Pharmacy. The larger towns - La Flotte, Le Bois and ST Martin are all easily reached by the wonderful cycle paths.

Had a lovely stay at Géraldine’s. Comfortable and clean home with everything you could need. Location quiet but within short walking distance to supermarket and pretty square with a boulangerie and couple of restaurants as well as the tourist office. Having the bikes to use as and when was a huge bonus - we enjoyed our cycle to other villages. In the evening hearing the swifts swooping by whilst sitting in the courtyard was very relaxing. No hesitation to recommend.

The accommodation is very nice, clean, well-equipped and friendly. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We enjoyed the location, the calm and the beauty of the landscape. Nice family house with a big garden, we and our dog loved it. The patio and terrace are relaxing. The open kitchen is large and well equipped, the sitting area is comfortable and spacious. The house is very close to the village center, easy access to the beach and local restaurants. There’s a market twice a week, and local grocery stores. We rented bicycles just around the corner and did not need the car at all. All in all we had an excellent and very relaxing stay :)

Its location offers the possibility to visit the island easily. Carole is a great host. Their indications are clear, their suggestions/recommendations are relevant and well adapted. Lovely little house with a cute little garden. Very clean, well-designed, well-equipped. 5 minutes from extraordinary walks: forests and beaches. And a + since we came off season and the house is well insulated and well heated. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu

We had a great time in Vincent's house: very pleasant setting facing the sea, with private access to the beach below the garden! The host can't be more responsive, I recommend it without a second thought!

We had a great time at Teddy's place. The apartment was spacious, equipped and nicely decorated. Close to all amenities. Teddy is very friendly, and gave us recommendations on the activities available in La Rochelle and its surroundings! The jacuzzi and terrace are a real plus!! I would recommend it 100%. We'll be back!

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

We had a lovely stay at Valerie's apartment. Tastefully decorated, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little touches and equipment. Great location, we were able to do anything on foot. Living during the day but quiet at night. Not insignificant little more: private parking in a city where all spaces are paid. I recommend it. Looking forward to coming back to this little cocoon.

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's apartment. It is located close to the port. Facing to the west, it is sunny at the end of the day . It has a parking space and bike storage in a secure residence (a big plus for a stay on Île de Ré where the interest is to get around by bike). It is well equipped and very clean. Bedding is good. Ingrid is friendly and available. Good location!
