House vacation rentals in Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A stay on the edge of perfection. Beautiful house, very pleasant, faithful to its description and allowing relaxation, relaxation and rest. In addition, the owner knows how to be present with responsiveness when needed, and to be more discreet. Which, for me, is both valuable and safe. I would highly recommend it.

We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

Cynthia and Mario's house located in the heart of the village, is beautiful. The old spirit has been preserved and the decoration is of very good taste. The indoor pool can be heated for a fee (reasonable), we enjoyed it extensively. The hosting was friendly and warm. Cynthia has always been responsive and was able to provide us with helpful information about the area. We immediately felt good in this huge house of character, we had so much space for the two of us! Thanks to Cynthia and Mario.

The house in the small Hamau is very quiet and very private. The nature, the surroundings, the house and the pool are brilliant. We felt completely undisturbed. We had contact with Johanne several times by phone. She gave us a lot of tips and detailed explanations. We were even allowed to meet her mother Nathalie with her partner in person. As well as the neighbors, an artist who showed us his studio (out of sight) and who rebuilt all the Hamau years ago. They were all sooo warm! We spent unforgettable holidays here! We will definitely be back!

Le Mas de la Source is a very beautiful relaxing place, picturesque and very well located for discovering the most beautiful places in the Ardeche to visit (Chauvet, Pont d'arc,...) or to practice (hiking, canoeing,..). Le Mas looks like a small village typical of the area with all comforts, a swimming pool and other entertainment. Anne, always smiling, will welcome you warmly and will always be present for the slightest question. Great stay for us, we recommend it!

Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the impeccable cleanliness, the comfort of the place… but especially the breathtaking view😍! Every morning, waking up to this magnificent panorama was pure happiness🌄. Calm, nature, fresh air… you feel completely refreshed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought out for the well-being of guests🙏. A haven of peace! Tastefully decorated home. The bed is very large and very comfortable. Functional accommodation and matches the listing. The hot tub is a real plus!! There were 2 of us with a dog and everything was suitable (closed gate and spacious grounds).

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails just next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as a cherry on top. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was ready if we needed anything. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

Leo's accommodation is great, perfectly equipped and very well arranged. We had a lovely time, especially enjoying the terrace on the second floor of the cottage, which has an exceptional view of the Cévennes mountains. I would highly recommend it

Flora's in-laws welcomed us in a very friendly way with a fireplace. The house is comfortably furnished and has everything you need, is very quiet, with extremely beautiful views. We will be happy to come back.
