What a wonderful place, what a haven of peace! No background noise, just the birds and the sounds of nature, back to a quiet hamlet well oriented towards the sun. Perfectly comfortable cottage according to my expectations, well insulated, no cold and even a good wood fire in snowy weather. Well located in relation to Lake Vassivière, and many other beautiful interesting places; a beautiful discovery of this corner of the Limousin. Nicole and Alexia were understanding, very easy to reach, responsive and helpful. Really nice! I'll be back tomorrow!

The charm of this house, the village and the surroundings and a pleasure, the calm of beautiful landscapes to rest. if you like the countryside, the calm and the beautiful landscapes, you will have plenty to enjoy. Marie-Claude is very welcoming and easy to contact. Her house is very nice, we had a great time with the family with our 3 and a half year old.

ideal break for cyclists who go around Creuse, depending on the starting point of course. local bikes available. make sure that the only restaurant in St Martin, relais des cascades, is open. we didn't have that chance. the price (€50) varies, including taxes, from €60 without sheets or towels, to €71 for a room, up to €82 for two rooms. which seems a lot, even if you are warned. Otherwise it's fine. Rustic and rural at the same time in a very nice setting.
