Little quiet authentic renovated gem in Morvan

Small cosy and completely renovated house for two with bedroom and bathroom downstairs and living with kitchen upstairs. The house is just 25 min from the highway A6 and on the border of a village and with a few steps you are in the forrest. Lake Saint Agnan is just 15 min, Vezelay 30 min. The house is situated next to the main building, but with it own entrance and terrace, so with plenty privacy. In the village there is a epicerie with bread, bar and restaurant. Next village has more shops.

Stunning views across the Auxois countryside from both house and garden. Very comfortable double bedroom with private entrance & ensuite bathroom in a sleepy hamlet. The heated garden kitchen can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden & deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views; off road parking. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Situé dans un hameau à 1,5 km du village, il est proche de lieux de loisir comme les lacs de Saint Agnan et de Crescent (à moins de 15 minutes en voiture). Avallon, Saulieu, Vézelay, Semur en Auxois sont à une demi-heure. Les chemins de randonnée dont celui de Saint Jacques de Compostelle sont nombreux ainsi que les pistes de VTT. Il dispose d'un jardin ombragé et d'un parking privé. L'hôte habite la maison à côté.

The apartment was lovely. It is situated in a Chateau on the first (US style second) floor and has two bedrooms. It is very clean and quiet. There is parking right outside on the grounds itself. We did a picnic outside one day and I would recommend use of the lawn area. The recommended restaurants were lovely as well. This is our annual trip (now 4th) to the Burgundy region and never disappoints. Thanks Anthony for the great apartment!

A perfect stay in Quarré-les-Tombes! The cottage is very comfortable, pleasant to live in and perfectly located. We loved being able to walk to the shops and hike directly from the accommodation.
