Unusual Clède in the Ardèche Cévennes

Wonderful stay in this peaceful place designed and maintained with love by Vanina and George. It is a home that keeps us immersed in nature in contact with the elements. The irregular Lauze stone from floor to roof, the wind that can rush into the upstairs bedroom through the windows without woodwork when it is not the first rays of sunshine that invite themselves at the foot of the bed -very comfortable -. The -hot - shower in the open air facing the mountain covered with a magnificent forest of chestnut and holm oaks. This place is worth it since it is almost 30 minutes from the nearest shops, after beautiful winding mountain roads. Don't forget to arrive with some groceries on the first day! If you're not looking for beauty, authenticity, simplicity, go your way. For the others, you will be spoiled.

We spent 3 days in Lucie's little house with our two dogs... small stone house with lots of charm, very well equipped... everything is planned for dogs... very clean accommodation, quiet village, river below... beautiful walks to take in the surroundings... very nice place... I would definitely come back...
