We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well-equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and terrace, where the views are breathtaking. We were welcomed with great kindness and great tips for visiting the area. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this timeless place. This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

We had a very good holiday at Caroline's, the house is very nice with all the necessary amenities ( air conditioning, pool, outdoor kitchen...) everything is done to make our stay go smoothly. Located in a quiet environment in the countryside, perfect for those who like to be quiet. Nice place to visit the area.

Cynthia and Mario's house located in the heart of the village, is beautiful. The old spirit has been preserved and the decoration is of very good taste. The indoor pool can be heated for a fee (reasonable), we enjoyed it extensively. The hosting was friendly and warm. Cynthia has always been responsive and was able to provide us with helpful information about the area. We immediately felt good in this huge house of character, we had so much space for the two of us! Thanks to Cynthia and Mario.

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Jean Michel's accommodation is independent of his house itself. House on one level. Jean Michel is very caring and considerate, smooth communication and good hosting. The accommodation is impeccable. Good bedding. Great well-maintained pool. Jean Michel is a good source of advice for activities to do.

A haven of peace! Tastefully decorated home. The bed is very large and very comfortable. Functional accommodation and matches the listing. The hot tub is a real plus!! There were 2 of us with a dog and everything was suitable (closed gate and spacious grounds).

Friendly and warm welcome from Hélène, despite the rain. Very nice little house, very well thought out and organized, in a quiet area. Directions to easily find food merchants. Small welcoming touches, homemade products: cake, cottage cheese, Cartagena jam, and also kiwis. We were "at home." Coming for a wedding, we didn't get a chance to see Hélène again over the weekend, but if necessary we knew we could reach her by phone. A property to remember?

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

We had a particularly pleasant stay in more ways than one. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Everything is clear and well organized. The accommodation is individualized so that you feel perfectly comfortable there. The available space is considerable, impeccably maintained. It was an absolutely perfect stay for the 4 of us. Between swimming pool, ping pong, trampoline and badminton, the only difficulty was making a choice :) Inside everything is very clean, tidy and perfectly organized. Everything is easily accessible. Special mention to the bedding, extremely comfortable. Really, a gem! Thank you so much to our hosts who hosted us so well.

What a beautiful garden! And the pool was much appreciated, in these beautiful days. The whole is atypical: the bedrooms (2 out of 3 are equipped with bathroom and toilet), the living room, the kitchen-dining room are in three different places (but very close to each other). So it's not a house, strictly speaking, but a set of places, all extremely pleasant. If you had to find a fault: one of the three bedrooms, intended for children, does not have a bathroom. It might bother some people, but not us. Another pleasant point: a petanque court, and many small details that show that the hosts pay great attention to visitors.

Very nice place: a haven of peace in the middle of nature. A rejuvenating place made for the countryside. The spa is lovely . Close to Anduze with its restaurants and the Cévennes region. In short, a place to discover

A perfect stay on every way! The accommodation was perfect: impeccably clean, super functional, with all the comforts you need. Special mention for the hot tub, a real plus to relax. You feel at home there, or even better! I'd recommend it without a second thought.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x
