From the beginning, booking with Debbie, she helped with advice on what to expect with my upcoming trip to St Helena. Our stay was great - we had everything we needed. It was comfortable and close to all the shops and right in the middle of where you need to be in Jamestown. I would recommend any of Debbie’s places and definitely a visit to their coffee plantation - without a doubt the best coffee on St Helena!! Thanks so much Debbie!!

Fowlers Townhouse 1 was just perfect for myself & my elderly mum. Even with the few stairs Peter had secured hand rails everywhere - on the steep slope into town - hand rails follow you down. Once inside you are in paradise. We had everything we needed. Fully functional home with everything that opens & shuts. The days & nights are so peaceful - & on a Saturday night town comes alive - it is the only night you will hear any sounds of town noise - which sounds crazy as you are right in the middle of town - but it is so vibey - it makes you want to put on those dancing shoes & go join the town folk. I have never been so comfortable in an Airbnb before that I even begged Jean if I could buy her pillows from her!! (Not sure how I’m going to get them back on the flight…). We were given a welcome pack of goodies in the fridge & cupboard that was an absolute godsend. Jean picked us up from the airport & assisted with facilitating the right person for carhire. I couldn’t recommend Jean more!

Foi a melhor semana de férias que já tive, David e Diana nos fizeram se sentir em casa, um café da manhã sensacional, e ótimas histórias e conversas com eles. Além da ótima opção de refeição que contratei à parte com a senhora Diana, uma excelente cozinheira, e a cada dia ela tinha uma surpresa para nós. Além disso nos ajudaram e orientaram com dicas e facilidades para nossa viagem e estadia. Dou a nota máxima para a hospitalidade do senhor David e da senhora Diana.

From the moment Gay welcomed me with a hug at the airport , I felt like I was between friends. The cottage is right on the Bus route to town, only ten minutes away. The views from my cottage were spectacular, a historical fort sits on top of the hill right in front of the garden and to the north, the cliffs gently open up to reveal the bay of Jamestown. For history buffs, Napoleon's tomb is within walking distance, Longwood House, Plantation House and the Anglo Boer war cemetery all within ten minutes' drive. Another advantage is the close proximity of one of the island's Post Box walks, the Heart Shaped Waterfall. The cottage was well furnished and equipped with everything I needed. The kitchenette is modern and spotless, the bedroom and bathroom are private and had lots of storage space. The sitting area with table and chairs and a spacious coach were very practical. Donald and Guy provide bus timetables, maps, brochures, a telephone directory and even laundry facilities.

Donald e la sua famiglia sono stati splendidi, sono venuti a prenderci all'aeroporto, ci hanno aiutato a noleggiare la macchina e ci hanno fatto trovare in casa già buona parte della colazione e, una volta finite le uova vista la nostra difficoltà a trovarle ce ne hanno procurate altre.. Ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni utili per il soggiorno! Bella esperienza..

Jean and her husband Peter were delightful hosts during our week's stay in Jamestown on Saint Helena. Their townhouse is located in the upper part of Jamestown and is roughly a ten-minute walk from the wharf. It is located between the local Baptist church and police station, so you should have no problem with miscreants bothering you (not that you would on Saint Helena anyway). The house is extremely clean and comes with two separate bedrooms, and there is a small courtyard on the side if you want to get some fresh air and sun. The rooms were extremely clean. The Fowlers are also able to assist you with transportation to and from the airport and can provide references for car rental options. My brother and I had such a nice time that if we ever revisit the island, I want to stay with the Fowlers again.

Gorgeous panoramic views of almost the entire island. Lovely quiet place, nice location to stay for a couple days.
