Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Convenient and bright, close to the bullring in a lively area of the historic center, you will be surrounded by shops and restaurants, next to monuments and exhibition venues, the farmers' market (Wednesday) and parking lots. The nearest free parking is at the SNCF train station, a 12-minute walk away

Characterful suite located between Nîmes and Montpellier, 30 minutes from the beaches. Completely dedicated to getting away, rest, and relaxation. Here, you will find every comfort, a queen-size four-poster bed, a genuine 3-person American Jacuzzi, an electric fireplace, a 55" TV, a sofa bed, Wi-Fi, and Netflix. Ten minutes by car from the city center and a stone's throw from various trails, discover our two ecolodges nestled in the trees. Ecolodge Turtledove includes a large double bed, a walk-in shower, separate toilets, and a private terrace. Homemade breakfasts are included in the price. The pool is shared with the other ecolodge; both can be booked together to accommodate four. Your hosts will remain discreet but are at your disposal should you require anything.
