"Gîte des lauriers" House with garden

GlenysRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Travelling from New Zealand to stay three nights in this stunning little French village we found Thierry’s medieval cottage delightful. It is spacious and comfortable. We put the kitchen to good use and enjoyed having the opportunity to explore the village in the cool of the morning and evenings when many day trippers had left. The views from the village are truly stunning, and the car parking card a real bonus. Couple of tips, the staircase to bedroom is small and steep. We left our suitcases downstairs, taking whatever required up to bedroom /bathroom area. We would also highly recommend a stop at the supermarket before coming up to the village to collect any basics you may require as once settled in and parked it is a long walk back down the hill if you need some milk. We would highly recommend Thierry’s place and a stay in Saint Criq, a real experience not to be missed. Thierry’s information re location and access are superb! Making the visit extremely easy.
A wooden deck is featured with smooth, evenly placed planks and sturdy railing on all sides. Lush greenery is visible in the background, providing a natural view. The deck appears spacious, suitable for relaxing or enjoying outdoor moments.

First of all, a big thank you to Gilles who warmly welcomed us and gave us some great tips for visiting this beautiful region of Lot. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Completely immersed in nature, the environment is very peaceful. The veranda is a real plus to appreciate the surrounding nature. We had an amazing stay at Gilles's and we will gladly go back.

35 m2 studio cottage

MichelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Small, well-equipped house, super nice, very quiet with everything you need for a pleasant stay and very good bedding. Well located to travel around and see beautiful places about 40 km away. We stayed from June 3 to 8 with very average weather that did not allow us to enjoy the pool that is at the bottom of one of the 3 apartments with a good slope to access it! Luc and Marie are very welcoming but were not present at this time it was their son's wedding...but they were the ones who gave us the keys and showed us the house. We really enjoyed the little touch that was waiting for us in the fridge! We'll be back in the area... Thank you for allowing us this very relaxing interlude and thank you for your kindness. Do-Mi

Wonderful Quercy "Les Fages"

NadjaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My partner and I traveled with another couple + dog. The stay in Christophe’s house was really enjoyable and we could enjoy nature, the calmness of the surroundings. The pool invited to stay in the property and facilitated relaxation. Anthony that takes care of the property and the cleaning lady were welcoming and nice, and gave us on top of Christophe amazing guide more recommendations to do. We felt fantastic and enjoyed our stay.

Medieval Cottage Next to Castle with Valley Views!

AlisonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.
