A separate summer kitchen on a cliff with the most stunning scenery is a point for enjoyment. Gas stove and grill in use. A bed for one in a barn, a loft in the sauna room and a sofa bed that can be spread out. You'll also have access to a rowing boat and a subboard. A lot heats up for a separate fee. A fire pit on the beach. There are a lot of stairs in this home, so please note when booking.

Drinking water comes to the kitchen and bathing with well water hose, clean and modern outdoor shower. Rowing boat. 12km from the center of Lappeenranta, 14km from the train station and 16km from the airport. We hope that the cottage will be left in the same condition as when you leave.

We've stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It's easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and hassle-free. The milieu is beautiful, in the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. Bedrooms are upstairs and common areas downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, and it's easy to agree on things. If you are looking for a quiet place, I would highly recommend Eija's place! Eija is super nice and always responded to my requests and curiosity. The house has a big yard and closes to a lake where you can go cross-country skiing in winter. The room is cozy and includes own kitchen and bathroom. Several big supermarkets and a secondhand store are within walkable distance. A trip to Jyväskylä city centre is also not difficult by bus, it takes around 45 minutes with beautiful scenery on the way.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!
