Waterfront Home in Brunswick, ME

BillRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This house is AMAZING! We stayed for 2 months (mid-Sept to mid-Nov). Everything was top-notch and high quality through out. TVs were super easy to work. Kitchen was well equipped. The Blackstone grill got a good workout. The views are incredible. My wife and I both set up home offices (me downstairs and she upstairs) and we had beautiful views of the water. The location was perfect. 6 minutes to Hannaford, 10 minutes to Bowdoin, 5 minutes to Miller Fitness (a gym we joined for 2 months). Yet, the house sits on a dead end street and is surrounded by woods. Very quiet, serene, and peaceful. Response from Meaghan and Andrew was always prompt and helpful. We loved it so much, we already booked it for next year's Bowdoin football season!

Maine Stowaway Cottage/Your Year-Round Destination

RuthyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.
A tranquil retreat is set amidst lush greenery, featuring a two-story structure with a sloped roof and large windows. A porch extends along the front, offering a spacious outdoor seating area. The surrounding landscape showcases tall trees gently framing the home along the water's edge.

Maine Coastal Retreat

AbbieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We absolutely loved staying at this house! The views each morning waking up to sunrise were spectacular. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The house was comfortable, with a semi-open concept and cozy cabin vibes. I’m a writer, so I really enjoyed being able to spend the mornings working on my novel while watching the tides rise and fall between the islands. The nights were peaceful and beautiful as well, and we loved being able to gather around the fireplace and enjoy the moonlight on the ocean. We would definitely return to Charlie’s place to stay again!
A spacious waterfront home is set against a backdrop of lush greenery and rolling lawns. The property features multiple structures, with bright white siding and dark roofs. Flowering shrubs line the pathway, and a clear blue sky provides a serene atmosphere.

Sailors Landing

RichardRating, 5 stars11 months ago
This is an outstanding house and a lovely setting on the water--the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It is a great place for a large family to spend time together, with multiple sitting spaces indoor and outdoor. It was a great place for our family reunion. We appreciated having the two kitchens and several places for people to eat. There was plenty of space for young people to play games. We were able to put our Kayak in the water at the house's dock, and It is located near the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and walking distance to one of the lovely Boothbay Region Land Trust trails. It was a wonderful visit!
A serene view of the Sheepscot River at dusk. The full moon reflects on the calm water, surrounded by trees lining the shore. A small boathouse and dock are partially visible in the foreground, enhancing the tranquil setting.

Lofty, (fish, swim, kayak, relax

BethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The lofty house in Harpswell is a very lovely house with an incredible location right on the bay and breathtaking views from the spacious deck. There is no road noise and it is fairly private though not entirely because it is part of a little cluster of short-term rental cabins and people occasionally walk by the bedroom and living room windows to access a shared dock and kayaks.

Historic lake house-water views, fishing

RachelRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a fantastic time - the house was perfect for us! Location is amazing, on a beautiful swimmable fresh water pond 10 minutes to grocery shopping and 20 minutes to the beach. It’s on a busy road, but there was practically no night traffic, especially during the week. Access to the pond right from the yard and watching the beautiful floating cattails more than made up for some daytime traffic noise. We really enjoyed the fire pit and amazing lack of mosquitos! This isn’t the place for you if you want a pristine modern house- it is quite basic and rustic. You can tell it’s in the process of being improved with some of the screens and windows not quite working. Some improvements would be more comfortable outdoor furniture and a working grill. But it had everything we needed, including many comfortable beds and nice linens. The “green” soaps and cleaning products were a nice touch. Our big family (including teens) agrees the house is ideal for us and we want to come back next year!

Waterfront private Bedroom & Bath in Shared Home

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is absolutely perfect!! I wasn't feeling well and the weather was a bit icky. Jane and her home were so lovely and welcoming, we were content to stay in our pj's, drinking coffee and hanging out with Mac the cat. Jane is an exceptional host. She treated us like family and literally welcomed us with open arms!

Beautiful Waterview Special Sunsets

JustinRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We recently stayed at this wonderful Airbnb with our two young children (ages 2 and 5), and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property was private and offered a serene and safe environment for our little ones to explore and enjoy. One of the highlights for us were the breathtaking sunsets we got to witness every evening. The views were simply stunning and made our stay even more special. Additionally, we enjoyed fishing off the pier, which was a great activity for the whole family. Betsy, our host, was amazing! She was always available for any questions we had and made sure we felt right at home. Her friendliness and attentiveness truly enhanced our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to other families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you, Betsy, for a memorable vacation!

Serenity on the Cove is a comfortable and well-equipped apartment on the lower floor of the house. The setting is fabulous, with the windows facing down a slope to the water. Very quiet and well-kept setting. The location is a great base for exploring Bath, Brunswick, Wiscasset and the nearby peninsulas down to Harpswell, Georgetown, etc. David and his partner are gracious hosts and the communication was prompt and clear. 10/10 recommend.

Scenic Game Room at Augusta Road

Nick (And Rachel)Rating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was our first trip to the Topsham area of Maine and Lisa's home was a perfect place central to everywhere we wanted to visit and explore. Very close to 295 and downtown area, but also felt like we were in the country with beautiful areas of nature. Everything was exactly as pictured, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the space the property offered and the views of the nearby pond. The home was impeccably clean and Lisa's instructions to help us get settled (and a lovely welcome gift) helped us to feel settled right away. We would be happy to stay here again in the future and definitely recommend this home to other couples who might be visiting the area.

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)
