Cozy room in Sagada

Anne LorraineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Atty. Soledad was very accommodating. We had just arrived in Sagada—bleary-eyed from the 10-hour trip—when I checked my messages and saw that she had just sent detailed instructions on how to get to her home. Thanks to that, we were able to check in immediately upon arrival, even without having to request it. The place feels very private, and we were given our space throughout our stay. Our room was right beside the shared bathroom, but since no one else was using it at the time, it felt like our own. The shower heater worked well, which was a huge plus given the cold weather. The beds, pillows, and blankets were all very comfortable and fluffy—perfect for a restful sleep. Getting to the property involves a short walk along a nature trail, unlike other accommodations that are right by the street. We actually appreciated this, as it gave us a bit of exercise and a chance to enjoy the natural surroundings. Definitely recommended!
A serene walkway is displayed, bordered by an array of green plants cascading from vertical garden features. Pots filled with various foliage are situated along the sides, while the sky above showcases a bright blue hue and fluffy clouds, adding to the tranquil ambiance.

A-Seven House Sagada Room 4

MarcelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
From what I understand, one of the oldest homes in Sagada. It has so much charm with its natural pine wood floors and staircase, historical and heritage displays in the living room. Not modern or plush by any means, but comfortable enough and very affordable. True value when you consider historical perspective, and the hospitality of the family that welcomes you in every way. It truly is a diamond in the rough, and I recommend it for all travelers to this Sagada area. It’s a great jump off point for many of the sites to see, especially the beautiful Bomod-ok falls and hanging coffins that we explored. And they allowed our fur baby to enter their home. We ended up paying for an extra night and shared a meal with members of the family.
A shared sleeping area features a wooden bunk bed alongside a single bed. Crisp white linens are neatly arranged, complemented by a decorative towel in the shape of an animal. Natural light fills the space through a window with a view of the surrounding greenery.

Megrez Big Dipper

Thank you for having us, we had an amazing stay! The bed is comfortable and airflow is excellent with the window/ door cross breeze. The dogs are so friendly and even joined us for a walk to the cloud cafe early in the morning. The walk to town proper is an easy 20 mins, but there are convenience stores closer that don't require walking all the way to town. Keep in mind walking around is normal here. There is also a nice restaurant only a 5 min walk away. Fresh drinking water is available, and we were greeted with a nice hot cup of coffee when we arrived. The wifi is best in the main house or upstairs in the common area of the guest house. Keep in mind that there is no cell service and spotty WiFi in the room.
A bright and airy shared sleeping area features wooden bunk beds and a spacious floor. Natural light floods in through large windows adorned with vibrant curtains. A private door leads to a balcony, offering views of the green surroundings.

Entire 3 Room cottage good for a group or family

KristineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Pros: - Host Dan and care taker tin was topnotch! So approachable and forgiving to so much requests! High respect to both! - place was exactly the size were hoping to get. We have the private outdoors to ourselves love the place and the furrbabies were like family! We miss them actually! :( - excellent internet for wfh! Very reliable connection. Can be better with: - maintenance to make the place better like lighting. The lights at night were so dim and dark. Better to have tree & plant lights maybe and outdoor lamp for some vibe to hang out at night. It was so dark we decided to stay indoors during the night. - faucet in cr and kitchen can be better. Kitchen was wiggly also no dishwasher and sponge to clean used utensils and broom to freshen it up for extended stay. Cr faucet rusty and handle was broken van be better. Also the light is too dim to shower at night. - some humidifier with scent or reed on the room for comfy sleep and pillows are no longer firm. LOVE it overall though!

The house was squeaky clean and the host is very responsive. We just didn’t know that you need to walk uphill to get to the house which might be difficult if you have senior companions. But overall, a very nice and peaceful place to stay in Sagada.
