Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Saco River

My mom and step dad came to visit us in Maine from the Philippines! We are so grateful for neighbors who have an Airbnb! Gretchen was responsive, accommodating, and flexible to a request for an hour and half later check out time. My family was so comfortable staying there and really appreciated having their own space. This is a MUST place to stay when you’re in the Brunswick/Mid Coast Maine area! Walkable to downtown Brunswick and Bowdoin college. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Hosts We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and clean Airbnb over Christmas. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, especially as we navigated the loss of my mother. They made special accommodations for our 10-month-old, childproofing the space for us, which we truly appreciated. The homemade cookies they left were a sweet and comforting touch. The house was well-organized, and the welcome book and clear instructions made everything easy and stress-free. We felt right at home and couldn’t be more grateful for the hosts' generosity and care. This stay made our holiday season brighter, and we highly recommend it!

Host was friendly, the place was clean, and all in all, it’s exactly what we needed for a quick night’s stay before an event in Portland early the next day.

Great little spot. The house itself is small with narrow upstairs hallway and steep, narrow stairs. However, my family and myself are all average to small sized people so this was no issue for us at all. The house smelled like lemon when we walked in, and it was very clean and well decorated with beach themed decor. Tons of cookware to use and choose from as well as plenty of dishes to use. Parking was right in front of the house in a quiet neighborhood. We fit 3 cars with seemingly no issue at all. The house did have some ants once in a while (maybe 1-2 a day), but this is to be expected in a beach town and should be noted that ant traps were laid well before our arrival The balcony up top is super cute. Great place for late night chats and early morning coffee. We were very comfortable. I ended up completing a nice puzzle, there were plenty of blankets, close to the beach, and altogether we had a great stay. Host was communicative and respectful. I would absolutely stay here a

This was an amazing experience. I had never been to Vermont before and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. In the middle of the trails. The only thing I suggest is to find a way to store bikes. Besides that, the place was clean and had everything we needed. The fire place was a nice bonus.

Seth was a great host, super responsive and helpful. The place is easy to find, clean and in a great location walkable to anything you want in Portland. Would definitely stay again!

We had a group of 10 staying here and we all fit very comfortably. Having the rollaways for the kids was nice. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores. Check in was easy. The location of the house is great. It is an old house so there are the quirks that come with that but we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our nieces wedding. The house was close to the venue, clean, and very comfortable. The location on the lake was beautiful and very peaceful. Brian was very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Sandra’s place was great! Looked as described, hot tub was ready for immediate use (no waiting to heat up or anything) so we spent adequate time in there, beautiful kitchen with many supplies for cooking, and lots of instructions throughout the house. This was a great place for a group of friends to hunker down for the weekend with plenty of space.

This place was Great! Salvatore was a great host that had no problem accommodating our group early. We actually had a different rental in the same neighborhood and had a plumbing issue immediately after check in and we had to find another place or go home. Salvatore responded within minutes and got us booked and we were able to get into the house 15 minutes later. Property was as described, very homey feeling and comfortable. Great open layout, kitchen had everything you needed and the beds were comfortable. No crazy rules or cleaning requirements at the end of the weekend like other places we have stayed. Would definitely purely rent again.

Cienna’s home was very easy to find and we felt at home as soon as we arrived! There were plenty of supplies and goodies for our dogs and supplies for us! The only complaint that I had was that the trash bin out front was already full with the previous guest’s trash. This was a minor issue and the rest of the stay couldn’t have been better!

We stayed at Vincent's for a week long ski vacation. The place has plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. The house and rooms are consistent with pictures and descriptions. Communication was smooth and prompt from pre-booking to post check-out. The arcade machine, pool table and piano were a big plus! A bummer we didn't get to try the hot tub. 4WD or AWD is advisable esp when heavy snow is in forecast as there's an incline approaching the property. Highly recommended!

We spent the the New Years with a group of close friends at Dimitry's lake house, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was private, with scenic and serene views on the lake. The house was warm, impeccably clean, well-stocked and thoughtfully organized --- including the kitchen, where we did plenty of cooking. We were also looking forward to the sauna and the hot tub, and they did not disappoint! Just what we needed after coming back to the house from skiing at nearby resorts. Dimitry's communication has been timely, thorough and proactive throughout the stay. Cannot recommend enough!

Place was great, close to the beach and boardwalk. Far enough away where you didn’t have to deal with noise and nonsense! House fit our 6 guests comfortably and the decks were nice to sit out on! Kitchen had everything you could need! Would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I had a blast at Jennifer’s place. The location is perfect and we loved swimming in the pool at the condo and the apartment’s cozy atmosphere. We would love to stay in another of Jennifer’s condos.

Unit was as described and pictures were accurate. Easy check in and good communication.

Our short stay was needed and this location was exactly what we was looking for! Very accommodating, private. Made us feel right at home. Our one complaint would just be the wifi. We struggled to get connected even with simple instructions. All in all, I would DEFINITELY reserve this location for our travels/vacations in the future! Thanks, Rick
