Kingsman House is an awesome place to stay when visiting Kandy. It is an easy walk to the lake, the Temple of the Tooth, the Kandy Mall (KCC) and most everything you would want to visit in Kandy. The home is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. Whether you prefer western or Sri Lanka classics, the chef and staff can make it and it will not disappoint. We were in Kandy for a wedding and we easily accommodated everyone we need to house from afar at Kingsman. We had dinners and breakfast for 12 people on some days. I don't think there is anything you could possibly complain about. Everything we needed was accommodated. Other things we visited within a short drive were the elephant sanctuary and Amumuluwawa. We will definitely stay at Kingsman when we return to Kandy.

Lovely place for vacation closer to town and a great place for family get away.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nilantha et Bilani !! Cest une famille très accueillante et la communication était très facile. Leur maison est très agréable, située dans un environnement paisible, à proximité du lac et de nombreuses randonnées. Les lits des chambres sont très confortables et la grande terrasse ainsi que la grande pièce de vie sont très agréables. On recommande chaleureusement !

The view from this house is priceless. We could have spent hours starring at the view. If we walk a short distance downhill, we can see the Gregory Lake. There are grocery shop at the beginning of the road. Nonetheless, this place was very peaceful as well as beautiful. We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Location is really good, you ll have a great view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Breathtaking views. House is really nice and clean. Staff members are really friendly. They communicate well and they can cook 👨‍🍳 well. If you want to use the pool please let them know early, pool is having fresh water from mountains. If you have a driver, he/she can have their own drivers unit at the back of the house. Rooms are really good and all the rooms have attached bathrooms. This place is good for 8 people. We will be back again ☺️🤩🎉

Grand Hills is a fitting name for a villa with amazing views of the surrounding hills and Kandy area. Don's team at the villa were helpful and (especially Mr Chaminda); we were given local recommendations and they were very responsive to any requests or questions. The villa is a good size - our extended family had plenty of space and most rooms have a private balcony. The children enjoyed watching the monkeys on the roof in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and we were able to walk to the neighbouring resort for lunch and dinner. Pool was pristine.

Charini’s place is lovely, she was very accommodating to our needs and there is a caretaker available 24/7. Views are spectacular and not too far from town. Living room is comfy but it is cold in this area at night so opt for the additional heaters!

Vi ankom med toget til byen, her blev vi hentet af Wilson (arbejdsmanden) og deres driver. Da vi kom til huset havde Mary (kokken) tilberedt fantastisk mad. Under hele opholdet følte vi os meget hjemme, her nød vi Marys mad og deres anbefalinger.

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Some places you stay at, others stay with you - this was definitely the latter. We came to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and somehow everything just clicked - the people, the setting, the timing. Shirani, our host, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her help made the day feel so personal and special. The home is stunning, peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of character. Even the most beautiful photos can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. Chef Kavin’s food was unforgettable. Absolutely soul-satisfying. We pushed our checkout just to have one more meal. Kapila, our butler, quietly ensured everything ran smoothly. Milan, the manager was kind, responsive and was always ready to help. Chandra and the gardener kept everything spotless, quietly working in the background. This trip became one of those rare, treasured memories. Our hearts are full and this place will forever be a part of our daughter’s first chapter.

Sujith is a great host, our family of 15 enjoyed the stay, and definitely recommending others who wishes to visit kandy to rent his place. The place is clean, privacy, secured environment and breathtaking view. They are helpers also at your disposal for basic needs or assistance.

Wow. We absolutely adored the trip. The accommodation is simply stunning, every bedroom was spacious and the communal areas so well maintained. The staff were all attentive, helpful and polite. Mr Maha was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged a tour of a local tea factory and always had a lovely smile on his face. The location is very remote. There are bugs and insects. So take a driver (accommodation available) and bug spray. Food was lovely and a great choice. We had massages, which were arranged by Mr Maha and were absolutely fantastic. Some of our group did a cooking class which they loved. We all were able to taste their food. Genuinely such a beautiful place to stay surrounded by nature and peace. Five stars! Highly recommended

Great place to stay, great views, quiet setting, house is huge and bedrooms even bigger. Food prepared by Raja, Darshan and Rani was such a luxury and very good. I highly recommend Soshana’s home, our family of 13 all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Soshana.

Sampath's place was the perfect starting point for our Sri Lanka trip. The secluded location offered breathtaking views, and everything we needed was taken care of. My family, including my kid and parents, loved it there. The caretakers, were incredibly friendly and great hosts. The food she cooked for us was also really great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Amazing surroundings! Super responsive caretaker! Out of the world food! The warmth of the host more than compensates for the cold weather!

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war sehr schön! Die Lage ist traumhaft – umgeben von Feldern, einem See und Bananenstauden, ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das größte Lob gebührt jedoch Rushan, der sich wirklich herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und seine Tante hat uns mit köstlichem Essen verwöhnt – das Essen war definitiv mein persönliches Highlight! Auch die von ihm organisierte Safari war super unkompliziert, und unser Guide im Park hat uns zu wirklich tollen Spots geführt. Der Pool war ebenfalls wunderschön, nur ein paar zusätzliche Liegen wären perfekt gewesen. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!
