House vacation rentals in Saanich Core

This place was GORGEOUS. The layout of the house is so nice and big. Perfect for our trip. My husband and I traveled with our medium/large dogs and a friend and we never felt on top of each other. The kitchen and dining room were huge! They had everything possible to cook with. We thought we’d be eating out for our three night stay but ended up cooking two of the nights! The backyard is magical. Hummingbirds galore. The pond provides beautiful sounds all day. Beds were comfy and pillows weren’t stiff. The hot tub was a dream. Felt like a resort. This place is a real gem. We already booked another stay!

This is a lovely property. There was a lot of thought put into making this property comfortable for guests. Nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen and plenty of good quality towels and pool towels. We made use of the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and pool were well maintained during our stay. The weather was a bit chilly when we were there so we didn’t use the pool much. Would love to come back and experience Matt & Lina’s home in the summer.

Great place to stay for four nights

Visited Victoria to participate in the Ironman 70.3 - great location for any triathlon or other event taking place at Elk Lake! Lots of space, great kitchen, very private rooms if staying with a group. There are some restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance and the harbor/downtown was only a short drive away. Highly recommend!

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

Nice little suite. Close location to the ferry and grocery store. Clean and easy entry.

Great place to stay and was close to victoria and various attractions. Angie provided straight forward instructions and was easy to contact.

Jacqueline’s place was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our group of four adults and three kids. The house was absolutely gorgeous and full of thoughtful touches and the neighborhood was darling and near amenities- a grocery store, some quick restaurants and a Starbucks were nearby and the beach and a cute park were right down the road! Victoria was a short, convenient drive away. We could not have asked for a more lovely place to stay for our family trip, and look forward to staying again someday!

This may have been one of the best Airbnbs that we have ever stayed at. When you walk in you feel at home right away! There is everything you need and they had even gifted a beautiful bottle of wine and there’s pasta, tea, coffee, salt pepper and even milk in the fridge. You can walk in and just make yourself comfortable right away. The view and the outside area are great as well and we loved the beds! They were so comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here.

It was a wonderful place to stay! I stayed here while at a conference in Victoria. It was a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place. I enjoyed staying there and I could easily bike to the conference and restaurants downtown. It was also very close to some bike trails for longer bike rides and the neighborhood was stunningly beautiful and quiet.

We visited just to go to a family wedding. It was perfect for our requirements and are staying there again on our way home. Our hosts were responsive and helpful!

Great stay at this airbnb. VERY clean, comfy furnishings, well stocked with everything we needed. Host communication was super quick, check in easy, nice to have the garage for our car over a hot weekend. We had a wedding close by to attend so the location was good for us. Highly recommend.

Dakota and Brad were great hosts- easy, quick and helpful communications. The house was as described though much higher above the water than I thought from the pictures which was no problem for us. The house was clean, beds were comfy and being lakeside added to the fun. My son and 2 friends were there for the Victoria Ironman and very much appreciated the hottub post race! They also enjoyed taking the dock with small electric engine out on the lake. The kitchen has basic pots and pans, dinnerware and glassware. As mentioned, there are tenants on the lower level but we never saw them.

Second time we stayed at Sharon's. Was as good as the first. Excellent flat, clean, comfortable, high quality furnishing and amenities. In fact, everything was high quality. Great location and a great host too. Would stay again if ever lucky enough to get back to Victoria.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wedgewood House! It truly felt like home, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Everything you could possibly need is provided, and the surrounding nature makes it feel so peaceful. The house was incredibly comfortable, clean, and quiet, an ideal place to relax and unwind.

I would definitely stay here again. the house was exactly as pictured. not like some airbnbs I've been to that looked nice in pictures and not so much in person. Everything was very clean and there were plenty of extra blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries as well. the yard was well kept up too. Just FYI to anyone who is wondering, the yard is not fully fenced but the hedges provide alot of privacy. The stairs are pretty slippery and my dog fell down them once... after that I just carried him up and down the stairs. so just be cautious on the stairs. overall, we loved staying here and felt very comfortable.

I can't say enough good things about Michael's place. It is really well situated, close for those flying into the airport, easy to go to restaurants in Sidney, and perfect for those continuing on to Butchart Gardens -- and we did all of those things! Most of all we were impressed with how well and how nicely it was provisioned with regard to the kitchen essentials (glasses, cups, plates, bowls, silverware, and everything really). Same goes for the rest of the house. I left feeling that anyone who is thinking of using their place as a short-term rental should stay at Michael's place first -- just to see how to do it right.

This artistic, charming stay in a beautiful neighborhood was a fantastic experience. Perfect way to experience Victoria!

The place was really clean. Everything was organized and clutter free.The neighbourhood is great. Host himself is quite responsive. Would definitely recommend this place.
