Traveler advice

Getting around

Most people drive and unlike many cities, parking is easy

Roads get busy during rush-hours, otherwise most of the city is 10-15 minutes drive. You can also walk to local attractions like Civita Park, and take the tram for the fun of riding the tram

Restaurant & take-outs - honestly use TripAdvisor

We are not recommending specific places to eat as there are so many great options for all budgets and culinary desires. Use your favorite review site like TripAdvisor, Yelp or Grubhub. In terms of general areas: - Restaurants in La Jolla have great views but are more pricey on average - Hillcrest, Little Italy and Pacific Beach are also great places to eat nearby - Lots of choice down-town but parking is much more difficult so expect to walk 1-2 blocks, and its gets very lively/noisy on the weekends
