Skogen is by far the best restaurant in the area. It's fine dining, and a bit pricey, but if you want a genuine high end experience this is your place. Reservations are always needed.

This park is just up the street and a great walk. It was a park built in the 19309's and has all kinds of Dino's that looks like what they thought they looked like back then. Totally amusing, but incredible views of Rapid City.

One of the most beautiful drives in all South Dakota, Spearfish Canyon is part of the geological history of the Black Hills. Drive along the canyon and look up at the towering 1000 foot limestone cliffs. Spearfish Creek runs along the road. Don't go here if it's snowing though, that wouldn't be fun!
