The Nature loop drive is a fun time for the whole family. Bring some carrots for a chance to feel wild burrow (donkeys) DO NOT try to feed buffalo.

There are so many awesome areas in Custer State park. Drive the wildlife loop to see the free roaming buffalo, prairie dogs, antelope, and wild donkeys. Or drive up to Sylvan lake and take an adventure on the Sunday Gulch trail (moderate to hard level due to the bouldering you will need to do).

Custer State Park is South Dakota's first and largest. The park offers incredible wildlife viewing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, swimming and more. Incredible beauty abounds but don't miss taking the game loop drive and stopping into the game lodge after.
