Our log house is located in one of the most picturesque and fun-filled areas of the Hudson Valley. You're within a 10-minute drive of Kingston, NY, the 1st capital of New York state, which also has an impressive array of restaurants. Rhinebeck and Red Hook are also popular destinations and are within a 15-minute drive while Woodstock is only 20 minutes away. All these towns have lots of exciting restaurants that feature locally grown ingredients and farm-to-table cooking. Between these attractive destinations and Saugerties, you'll be busy eating out, partaking of local brews, visiting local farms and wineries and enjoying other activities such as hiking, shopping, horse-back riding, golfing, playing tennis, boating, sunbathing and having all sorts of fun.

His store is like a museum, with a sculpture garden and pieces of furniture that will get passed on for generations.
