From immediate booking Marlies and Friedel were on hand to assist. Prompt response and very helpful. When we arrived at the apartment Friedel was there to greet us and show us around the brand new apartment, which is extremely clean and shiny finish to a high standard. Large open plan kitchen / lounge, all amenities required other than washing machine but local drycleaning options available. Huge bathroom and a brilliantly quiet bedroom. Location is perfect from going between the Netherlands and Germany with great walking / running & cycling trails around. Highly recommend a stay here and will be using this as our hub when visiting the family in the Netherlands.

The accommodation was exactly as described. Especially the box spring was a dream! Our hosts were super loving and always directly approachable. Especially very accommodating. The accommodation itself was very clean and we were very comfortable in our first holiday together. We can highly recommend this property and the hosts. The place itself is nice for walking. Especially the Effelder Waldsee with Beach Club. There you can eat well or enjoy a hot chocolate. The Waldsee also has a water ski facility. Surely a dream in the summer! All in all great!

The three of us + dog were on a girls' weekend and we really felt very welcome. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location, but we were in no time in the outlet center and in the center of Roermond (lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops). The contact with the host before and during the stay was perfect, responded quickly, were incredibly friendly and open and were always there for us. The dog was allowed to roam freely on the terrain and there was enough parking space for three cars. Upon arrival there was a nice bottle of wine ready and also in the house you could find everything you need, from coffee to shampoo and tasty fresh eggs from the chickens. The cottage was cozy and very clean. In short; a big 10+ and we certainly hope to be able to come back!

We were completely satisfied, the location is super central, so everything was within walking distance. The communication worked great and we were greeted warmly. The apartment is well equipped and you feel right at home. I would recommend them to anyone who would like to travel to Roermond.

VERY RECOMMANDED. Appartment in city center, steps from designer outlet and for the place, I don't think there is a better than this one. Lots of shops and restaurants around. I was warmly welcomed by Robin's father and felt like home inside. The appartment is perfect for maximum 4 persons with a shower and kitchen fully equiped. The street is better animated than the pictures as it is the main street of touristic places. If I should give an advice, go on with eyes closed. Thank you again Robin.

Great guesthouse with all mod cons. Ideally suited to take a break on your own in the border region of the Netherlands and Germany on the Swalm. I enjoyed the well-kept and attractive and sustainably built guest house. The guesthouse offers a (h) honest breakfast all under the guidance of Paul and Jose, both incredibly hospitable and always willing to help you and tell something about the environment their joint venture.

Marianne is a kind and very helpful host. She will make sure you have a pleasant stay. Although you might need much from her because her place has everything! Spacious and lovely place! If you go shopping (tip: you actually must go) to Roermond outlet, this is the perfect place to stay. It is about 5-10 mins drive only. Tips: if you are coming from Paris, take a train to Brussels (1.5hr) , then rent a car at Brussels-Midi station to drive to Roermond (also 1.5hr). Note that Roermond is 2hr from Amsterdam, and the train from Paris to Amsterdam is 4-4.5hrs.

Marianne is a very nice, friendly and accommodating hostess, we felt very comfortable in your house. The house is very nice and friendly. The house has a beautiful garden, where we sat and enjoyed. The kitchen is well equipped, a large dining table with a view of the garden invites you to eat, play or clink. We can recommend the accommodation with full conviction and will surely be a guest again next year with Marianne.

A nice, large, clean and cozy house close to the center. We enjoyed the garden where we had a delicious breakfast every morning. Perfect for a group of 5 people. Hostess Marianne is very friendly and provides a warm welcome! To be repeated!

The landlord arranged everything as very thoughtful as the old mother. The room was clean and tidy, with an atmosphere and facilities. The garden is very beautiful, the children like it very much. I only stayed for two nights this time, very short. When the children are older, we will definitely come back.

Cozy furnished cottage, basic, but everything you need is available. Delicious fresh eggs for your breakfast. Nice and quiet place among the meadows. I slept there for 2 nights where the temperature was below freezing. The living room is a bit fresh, but the bedroom is lovely. There are also blankets for cooler evenings on the couch.

Cottage on a farm with sheep and horses. Clean, romantically decorated, wonderful shower and very complete! Wonderfully quiet place, all the privacy you want!

I booked at short notice, and got a response very quickly. My 2 girls (labs) were allowed to participate without any problems if they did not walk around freely. Who wants to have peace and seclusion is right here. Nearby was a larger street but almost inaudible. Since I came in the evening and Jeanne was not home, her son has made the part of the transfer. On the day of departure, I left the key at Jeanne and like the whole voschreiber is the one very nice. If I come back in this area gladly again.

Jeeane was helpful and quick in her responses, overall the cabin house was a wonderful stay, enough equipments to cook almost anything you want, a definite stay if you are driving and looking for a quiet place to relax for a couple of days Alec

Very successful location for friends weekend!

Paul and José's home is very suitable for large groups. There are a lot of bedrooms with their own bathroom and more than enough amenities. The bedrooms are all pleasant, lots of light and nice and spacious. The mattresses were a bit soft for us, but there is nothing else to notice. In addition to the house with the sleeping areas and the kitchen, there is also a very cozy annex where you can play with a large group of games in the evening and enjoy lounging. The area outside is beautiful, during the day there is a beautiful spot by the stream and it was wonderful to sit by the campfire in the evening. We came here for our team weekend, with a group of young adult ladies and gentlemen, but Paul and José have not been bothered by us, and neither have we. Paul and José were a very nice host and hostess and were always ready to help us when we had questions, and gave us great tips for activities. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a weekend with 8 adults and 7 children between 0 and 3 years in the house of José and Paul. It was really perfect. With 7 rooms would have fit well two more families. The area is very large with meadow, trees, barbecue, sandpit, a separate lounge with table tennis, games, a few chickens run around and the coronation is the small river. In it, the children have enthusiastically planned or thrown stones. In addition, José and Paul are very warm and uncomplicated hosts, so we felt very comfortable. Also highly recommended with small children!

The B&B de Hofnar asked us for wonderful and very central accommodation for a weekend in Roermond. The location allowed us to go to the outlet or to downtown Roermond (well worth seeing). We booked the breakfast and were not disappointed, there was enough choice and it was regularly replenished. The room was very tidy and there was almost no external noise. All in all we were very satisfied and would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing weekend in Roermond.

Check in was super easy. The location of the property is absolutely perfect for going to the outlet or downtown (5 minutes walk). The breakfast buffet was good with a good selection of spreads, yoghurt / cereals and coffee. We had a very good time :-)

Nice, clean and comfortable B&B in Roermond center. Very well located, about 10 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk from the outlet. Our room was a the top floor, 3rd floor without a lift. We didn’t have much luggage so it wasn’t a problem for us. The owners were very friendly, they aren’t in the B&B all the time, but are always reachable by phone. They responded my 2 phone calls immediately. We would go back!

The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, and no kitchen is available. In addition, it should be noted that the house is in a small town. It is 10 minutes by bus to Roermond Discount Village. The return ticket is about 11 Euros. The host is nice.

The apartment is in a dream location in the middle of nature. We were lucky enough to see an otter. Very well located for hiking or walking distance to the center of Bruges. The equipment down to the smallest detail is very well thought out, modern, clean and also suitable for longer stays. We felt very comfortable. The communication with the nice landlords and the check in were very good. We would love to come back!

Super host & location

A very cozy and high quality apartment. The apartment is well located on the outskirts, so that the forest and the town center can be reached quickly. Everything was very straightforward and even some drinks were waiting for us in the fridge. We recommend!

The courtyard entrance was lovely and the apartment was clean and festively decorated for Christmas. The hosts gifted us a bottle of red wine upon arrival and also a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the new year which was very thoughtful. And if you are looking for a place to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve, this is the place for you! They set them off at the castle right next door so you have a front row seat from the roof terrace. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place for those with young children or pets because of the awkward stairs. I knew there were stairs inside, but did not know how narrow and steep they would be. We had our dog with us and there was no way he was going to climb those stairs on his own. Luckily he is small enough that we could carry him up and down but it was definitely a challenge. Also, the kitchen has a refrigerator but no freezer.

We had a very nice stay in Nancy’s apartment. The house is very well located in the middle of the lovely town of Bruggen. It’s lovely decorated and you will feel immediately at home. The communication was very good!

We actually decided to go to Brueggen as opposed to another town in the area because of the pictures and information we found at Airbnb for the apartment of Nancy and Gijs, and we were not disappointed in the least. The two of them could not have been more welcoming or gracious. Gijs showed us around when we arrived, gave us a good introduction to where things were and how they worked, Nancy offered to do our laundry in her machines, and when we cheerfully accepted, she did them just as we asked. They invited us to visit with them and their relatives from Australia, and later in the week we were asked to join them with local friends. We enjoyed both evenings very much. The apartment and the courtyard in which it's located were as lovely as the photos. It was well equipped and tastefully decorated, the beds were good and all of it was clean and bright with lovely flowers. The terrace off of one of the bedrooms was a very pleasant and private place to sit, and Brueggen itself is a charming old town with beautiful old buildings as well as new areas, good shopping, and nice restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed being in a central location that was still very quiet. The area around offers a beautiful setting with lakes and streams, forests and old water mills, all with the excellent walking and cycling that we'd hoped for. It is also not far from the beautiful castle gardens at Arcen, well worth a visit themselves. Five nights was not really enough to do justice to all that's there, so this will be on our "return to" list. We were glad to see that Nancy and Gijs have already finished a second apartment, as lovely as the one we had, and are planning a third, all done to the same high standard. Both of the newer ones will be all on one floor, though the steps in ours were not a problem. Nancy and Gijs and their vacation apartments have our highest recommendation. To American travelers, this is the way to see the real Europe.

Nancy and Gijs were awesome hosts and took care of our every minute needs. The place was picture perfect with everything we needed and they promised. The place is just across the Burg Bruggen and a beautiful rivulet. far away from the city noises. A very cosy place. restaurants, pizzerias, super markets, coffeeshops, a church and all other convenience just a small walk away. The neighborhood is amidst greenery that the mother nature has abunduntly blessed with. Even though we were visiting Messe Dusseldorf on work with hectic work schedules, just the drive to Bruggen was very relaxing. Nancy & Gijs took care of us like an extended family and accompanied us on our ventures on many occasions including a visit to Netherlands. A morning walk or a cycling circuit through the nearby forest and the rivulet (Call it canal?) was very picturesque. We could see the Burg Bruggen from the window of the roof. The host are interesting people with lots of special interests in plants and pets. The house is surrounded by greenery and is very soothing. The place had every small and big thing needed for a living including a safe locker and a full fledged kitchen which normally is not what you need in other cases. The wifi was fast and strong. The heaters, exhaust system, refrigerator air conditioner everything was just fine. All in all it was an amazing experience and a happy one too. I will surely have no second thoughts about staying at Ferienhaus Burgblick Brueggen and look forward to the next available opportunity. Will surely stay here again and highly recommend the place to people considering this place. My rating 10/10

The place and our host Anotsj were both great. Everything was clean, amenities available and the location was good too. Anotsj also recommended us restaurants and shops in the area, which helped us a lot, helped us with everything we needed and even offered to clean any area again, should we find it not clean enough (everything was fine from the beginning, so no need). It was just class. We liked everything very much you have a lot of rest and can spend a couple of very nice days especially you could understand each other very well with Jose we were very pleased to make such a nice acquaintance.

We booked for a weekend away from the tourism just to be able to switch off. In the beautiful house that went very well. Great breakfast and the house is tastefully and well equipped. The proximity to Roermond and Venlo is great. So we enjoyed our rest after the city break again.

The space is beautiful with high ceilings and nice details, such as the stained glass windows in the bathroom. In terms of facilities you have everything you need, if I were still a student I would have liked this as a studio. Location is actually exactly five minutes walk from the station, ideal. Last minute 'booking' was no problem for Silvia, super thoughtful. Because we stayed here for New Year's Eve, she had even put a bottle of champagne in the fridge, so welcoming. Great stay, recommended! We would book here again soon!

I stayed at Claudia's place for work, the apartment has everything which is needed! It is really convenient. Claudia is really friendly and even coffee or thee is available. The place is clean and quiet. You are really near the highlights in Brueggen center.

Claudia possesses the title of superhost and deserves it like hardly anyone. The home of Claudia has a warm and family atmosphere, the first meeting promised a very enjoyable stay and so it was. I will always associate a little house in Brugen, I could feel at home here. In addition to friendly hosts, another advantage is the location at the foot of the forest, making it very easy to find peace and quiet there. I heartily recommend

Heartfelt hosts and a really fantastic spot! I was with my two cats as guests and was welcomed. CheckIn / CheckOut were flexible and completely problem free. The view from the balcony on the generously and lovingly self-created garden pond + the four young horses in the paddock of the neighbor were my highlight. But it was also excellent on the couch or in the cozy kitchen to pass the time. The three of us felt at home and love to come back.

It is a very cozy and comfortable apartment with everything you could wish for. It is also a very nice quiet place, but you are also in the city if you want more people around you. A good base for nature and city with a great hostess and host who can provide you with good tips. Highly recommended to go to.

Really great place to stay with a great host Diana. The guesthouse has a view over the big garden and makes the place very private. The beds were amazing, probably the best we slept in for years. The BnB of Diana has everything needed to spend a wonderful weekend! Waking up with a view of the trees with squirrels and birds, getting a delicious breakfast, enjoying the peace and quiet, .. it was all perfect for a nice girlfriends weekend! At Diana you will return home completely relaxed and rested.

I stayed this apartment to official trip. IIona is really kind and alway speedily response. The house located in quiet and safe residential section , and supermarket „EDEKA“ is also near by, it take 3min by car. House is really clean and they have enough towels ,cooking equipment, dishes and also we enjoyed the fire stove. They have small garden . We enjoyed cooking , relax , sleep so everything. I can do everything like my house. For these reasons I have spent perfect 4 days at here . I really recommend this apartment and I would like to stay here again.

Lovely, well-equipped studio in cute Brueggen, which is perfectly located for bike rides in the area. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the studio features thoughtful and endearing touches.

Near a lot of great placess. But still a real quiet local gem. Super clean and all what you need.

The landlord is very nice, not far from the supermarket, the room is well equipped, and you can park at the door.

It was a pleasure staying here! Great location close to the city. The guest house is very private and has a cool view on the Roer river. It comes with everything you need. If you stay within Roermond you don’t need a car, but there’s a private parking spot if you have a car. Almost next door is the lovely ECI Cultuurfabriek located, also home to the fantastic restaurant ONE. Communication with Anouk was easy and fast.

Just wow! :) the apartment looks like a luxury hotel room- very stylish and comfortable with the bath tub and a big shower directly next to the bedroom. ;) We enjoyed the stay very much and would come again everytime! Anouk, the host, was super friendly. We had a super kind and easy contact before the arrival and a nice and welcoming check in. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short vacation and easy cooking sessions :)

Anouk‘s place is stylish, well equiped and conveniently located in short walking distance from the town centre. She is responsive and the check in was very efficient. We had an excellent experience staying there.

This place exceeded my expectations. Larger than the photos make and everything is in perfect shape. Very neat and sleek design, beautiful details such as Christmas lights and tree. Very quiet for sleeping too, with a large window overlooking the river. We did it as a stopover between Maastricht and Eindhoven, but you can also easily stay here for a longer time. Recommended.

Cleo and Willeke's house is a nice and very neat house. We enjoyed a wonderful meal here with our daughter for almost 10 months. There was even a bed and seat available in the very nicely decorated house. Communication with Willeke and Cleo was excellent and fast. The location has a perfect base to discover Roermond and the rest of Limburg :)

Super great, cute and lovingly furnished house. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk to downtown Roermond depending on the speed. The house is equipped with everything you need, even spices, dishwasher tablets, shampoo etc. were already available. Large parking lot nearby, as well as a supermarket. It was clean and very cozy. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.
