Welcome to "Bristol Little House". Our private self contained space benefits from it's own private entrance and free street parking so you can come and go as you please. This charming space was newly built in July 2017. Make full use of our kitchen, spacious open living space and en-suite. Take advantage of Sky and Netflix on the flat screen TV and fast Wi-Fi. We are on the otherside of the garden - far enough for you to have your own space but close enough if you want a friendly chat.
This modern, converted space is equipped with: Tea, coffee and sugar. An oven/microwave and double hob, Essential such as bin bags, washing up equipment, shampoo, conditioner and towels. King size sofa bed, Complimentary Netflix and Sky (with Sky Movies) and has a private entrance.
This neighbourhood is very beautiful. Just a short 10 minute walk to the local anemities, such as Porto Lounge; a cosy, friendly cafe/restaurant overlooking Victoria Park. An incredible authentic Italian, La Piazza 1, is a delightful place to eat. There are great walks around this area and many parks such as Oldbury Court Estate, and my favourite Snuff Mills. Perfect for afternoon strolls.
  • Absolutely wonderful place to stay, could not recommend the place enough, and would love to stay there again in the future if I do head to Bristol. Thank you so much Maria!

    Rayhan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Maria’s place is beautifully put together, with everything thought of, and more. Clean, warm, well equipped, and responsive hosting. Lovely

    Eoin2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfy bed! Lovely hosts and extremely clean. The walk to the studio is really dark and further than expected but accommodation lovely x

    Caroline2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant ! Would stay again without hesitation. The bed is really comfy too.

    Laura2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Maria was such a great host and responded very quickly when I had a few things I needed help with. I was anxious about staying somewhere on my own for the first time however Maria made me feel at ease and I had a wonderful stay. As a student Paramedic on shift this was a perfect place for me to stay when starting and finishing at all hours, meaning I didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

    Elin2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little place with everything you need! Quick responses from Maria and in an ideal location. Would highly recommend for a visit to Bristol :)

    Megan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend. Great location, was so easy to get into the city centre in about 15 mins. Lots of free parking available. The place itself is gorgeous and cosy. Super clean, very warm (thanks to the dyson fan) and the smart TV with sky/netflix is a really nice touch. A fully kitted out kitchen (including some very yummy bread and wine) meant we didn’t have to bring anything ourselves which was very useful. Maria wasn’t there herself but she was extremely quick with responses. I unfortunately broke a wine glass by accident and she was so so lovely about it. Will definitely be back!

    Ray2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little space on short notice for such a great price, Maria was very helpful and checking in and out couldn't have been easier. Will be visiting again soon for sure

A stylish and comfortable one bed flat just off the bustling Gloucester Rd with its great range of independent shops, bars and restaurants close by. We don’t charge extra for cleaning etc. 20 mins walk into town and close to great local, national and international transport links. This is a vibrant central area but a fairly quiet road with everything nearby. Children are welcome but we have no child locks etc. Parking can be difficult during the day but usually OK in the evening and at weekends.
This is a self contained flat with its own front door. We live in the house above so we're very happy to offer any info about the area or what to do. The flat is on the ground floor and has a small paved outside area too. There is one bedroom with a double bed and also a comfy sofa bed in the living room. There is a bathroom with shower and bath and a well equipped kitchen. The road is quiet and free parking is available on the road but it is often difficult to find a space. We use Egyptian cotton bedding and provide basics such as tea and coffee, shampoo etc. If you want more than one bath sheet each please let us know. We are happy to get any shopping you want in advance for payment when you arrive. A fold out bed or travel cot can be provided for children if required. Please let us know when you book. We are happy to accept bookings that are longer than a month but just let us know first. Thanks
The Gloucester Rd is a few steps away and we are lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants and gastro pubs nearby. It is the longest road of independent shops in Europe and has a really good selection including a couple of good supermarkets within 5 mins walk, as well as bakers, butchers, fishmongers, green grocers etc. There are also some great retro, vintage and charity shops. The flat is a short walk away from Gloucester Cricket Club which hosts local, national and international matches. We have a Bannatynes Gym with pool close by with membership available by the day. There is a great blog about all the lovely places to eat locally in the flat too. We can send the link if you'd like to plan!
  • Had a lovely stay at Cath's place. It's a good size for 2 couples for a night or two and has everything you need - even some homemade marmalade in the fridge. Location is also fantastic for shops, cafes, pubs etc. and the price is more reasonable than many other places. Would stay again.

    Sarah2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cath was a brilliant host. Great communication and also very kindly let us have a late check out on the Sunday.

    Andrew2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really comfortable and clean flat, perfect for a weekend in Bristol. Cath always responded quickly and was accommodating in letting us check in and out a bit later if possible. The area was just great, with so many local restaurants, shops and bars - really liked that!

  • Wonderful stay in Bristol. I had a 2 day training course to attend at the Marriott hotel and found the studio to be within very close proximity. Parking wasn't an issue as I arrived after 5pm and was gone before 9am so could park right outside. The studio is simply beautiful and I love the decor. The bed was snuggly and very comfortable, the shower was powerful and with underfloor heating in the bathroom I didn't feel cold at all. I was extremely impressed with the variety of cereals, teas, coffees, hot choc and even little marshmallows! After a full day of travelling and training it was so easy to relax here, I just wished I could have stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Toni2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The studio flat was perfect in every way, a lovely space beautifully done out and space maximised. The location was just a 10 minute walk from the M shed and the river. We will definitely return.

We have a delightful, privately accessed annexe for you to enjoy your stay. It has a double sofa bed and enough room to add an additional single mattress for an extra guest. There is a large TV and a single wardrobe. We provide you with your own kitchenette and breakfast bar consisting of a kettle, toaster and microwave, washer/dryer. We will provide you with all the basics you need for a comfortable stay - tea, coffee, sugar, milk and breakfast bits and bobs and some toiletries.
The Snug is in walking distance of lovely pubs, restaurants, shops and woodland walks and a 15-30 min car or bus journey into central Bristol. If you are staying for work we are situated on the right side of Bristol for the Ministry of Defence, Aerospace, Rolls Royce, The Science Park and UWE to name but a few. Of course we also offer you a stylish and comfortable self contained place to stay.
Downend is a leafy, green affluent suburb on the north east side of Bristol. Downend village, as it’s known, has a collection of shops and services and a number of acclaimed eatery’s and cafes. There is a real feel of community and there are many venues offering community based classes and fitness opportunities. What I love the most is it’s lovely woodlands and walks along the Frome Valley walkway - just opposite The Snug is the entrance to Britannia Woods.
  • I could not recommend this place more. Beautifully welcoming with daffodils on arrival. Definitely made me feel that spring was here. Clean and perfectly presented, everything was easy to find and no difficulty finding anything or a need to go to the local shops. Jayne is accommodating and warm. The Snug feels like a home away from home. Beautifully modern with enough space. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathroom was clean and spacious with towels softer than even lenor can provide. Thank you for a fantastic few days Jayne, you were great as was the Snug and I will be back soon. In fact I have already put another reservation in. See you soon.

  • Everything was perfect and clean. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. You can take a bus to go to the city centre that takes 48 min normally. If we come back to Bristol we would stay there for sure:)

    Marta2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay, very easy and straightforward. Nice touches by the host! 30 min walk from UWE. Duck and Willow restaurant around the corner was fab!

  • I stayed here for just over a month and it was just what I needed. The place was clean and well thought out, there was all of the essentials there for my stay. Hospitality was great, and response times were short. Plus there was always room to park my car. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is sparkling clean and the bedroom was set up nicely for three people. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in Bristol! Thank you so much for having us.

This is a welcoming place to stay if your're visiting Bristol - guests enjoy that it's homely, well decorated and in a great location. It has a private entrance and garden and is ideal for couples or individuals to relax and enjoy. There is a well-stocked kitchen with a table seating four. The flat is so central there are options for eating out for all budgets. Guests have exclusive use of the garden with tent-swing and seating. This is a lovely private flat that is excellent for couples looking for a welcoming and private place to stay. There is a good-sized double bedroom flat with separate kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower and private garden - a perfect place to relax and enjoy your Bristol stay. The bedroom has shutters which are brilliant at blocking out the light and also drawers, a wardrobe and small desk. It is a great place to stay for a short-weekend or for visitors seeking a longer stay, as there is sufficient storage for you to unpack and make yourself at home. The bathroom is just down the hall with a shower over the bath, sink and loo. The kitchen is to the rear of the house and has a table to seat four, gas hob, oven, toaster, Nespresson machine, cafetiere and washing machine. This is a great room to hang out in and leads to the garden. It has a sofa so you can relax and read the papers whilst having your morning cup of coffee. A private garden is accessed from the kitchen with table and chairs for 4 on the patio at the end. We have 3 children so there is a swing for our smaller guests to use plus a hanging tent to snuggle in if the weather allows! We work hard to make sure the flat has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We are really proud of our Superhost status, mainly because it means our guests really enjoy their stay here and it's lovely to help either new or returning vistors enjoy their time in Bristol.
This is a vibrant and interesting neighbourhood. Montpelier is on our doorstep, with it's artistic quarter, beautiful coloured houses and lovely relaxed vibe. Gloucester Road is a great place to shop or browse, full of independent retailers and lovely food and drinking areas. Many of our guests head to Clifton Village for a potter. Full of lovely shops. Georgian squares and cafes, it's a great place to while away a Saturday or Sunday. You won't be stuck for things to do!
  • The apartment is fantastic with a nice location close to restaurants and bars with only a 20 minute walk into the center.

    William2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment in a great spot in Bristol. Plenty of restaurants / bars / cafes in the area. Lots of info given by hosts prior to arriving which was very useful. The apartment itself was extremely clean and very spacious.

    Brandon2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely ground floor self contained flat. It was absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean and beautifully cared for. The bedroom was at the front and the shutters bought both privacy and quiet from the road. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of books. There was also storage for clothes etc. Bathroom was great, with a very good shower. The kitchen/living area was just beautiful and well equipped with everything that you might need - tea, coffee, olive oil etc as well as sufficient cooking pans and plates. This is their family kitchen ordinarily so you could cook a full meal here if required. I didn't bother because there were so many amazing food options within a few steps from the flat. The garden was nice, but as it rained a lot, I did not make use of it this occasion. Thank you for letting me stay in your beautiful home.

    Charlotte2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great flat at the bottom of a family home but still separate and private. Really nice decor and homely feel. Great communication and information about area. Well stocked kitchen with great selection of pans and everything you need to cook. And beautiful garden! Perfect Airbnb stay. Thank you Catherine!

    Hebba2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The location is perfect! Easy to get to on foot, by train or by bus. Super close to lots of restaurants and cafés, and walkable to hundreds more. The space itself is huge, much bigger than the already roomy photos! Huge bed, massive kitchen, lovely garden. The duvet and pillows were very soft and warm, and the shower was nice & hot. The hosts were incredibly helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. Super quick to reply, boatloads of local knowledge and easy-going about our requests.

    Sofia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

*** In light of the current situation, we have come to the decision to cancel all short term bookings within the next 12 weeks (until the end of June 2020). We have carefully considered the information and advice that we have been provided with by the government and feel that this is in the best interest of our guests, family and wider community. We are a business that welcomes people from across the country and we feel that we have a responsibility to minimise this for the time being. As a small business, this isn’t a decision that we have made lightly and we are continuing to think of ways that we can keep the business up and running, whilst also minimising any risks to our guests and family at Collins Farm. Going forward, in order to reduce footfall, we will only be accepting bookings that exceed a 14 day period and will be introducing a minimum 72 hour gap between bookings in order to carry out a thorough deep clean of the entire property. Guests will be able to check in to The Dovecote without any contact with ourselves, although we are always at the end of the phone should you need us. We apologise for any inconvenience that this causes*** Look out onto open fields from the main bedroom, while French doors lead to a private patio. It is close to Bath to enjoy the history and attractions but also secluded and peaceful enough to relax in the evening. Sophia was extremely helpful and could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend stay at the Dovecote if you are visiting Bath or just looking for a relaxing peaceful weekend.

    Rebecca2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • A very cosy and well presented place to stay. Close to local amenities we explored a bit of Bristol and was close to most things in a car.

  • Nice place to stay and a bit different - basically exactly as described and in the photos!

    Seiriol2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We booked the TAM as a fairly last minute booking as a birthday weekend stay. The description of the location is accurate and it is situated within a gated community centre with secure locked gate system. The TAM provides everything we needed to just walk in and live for the weekend. We chose the TAM as are very interested in Eco friendly and sustainable living and this didn't disappoint. Even the paint on the walls has been created from natural materials. There is a supermarket only a 5 minute drive away so we were able to cook our own meals with ease. A very comfortable stay in a very clean and unique property.

  • This apartment is very nice and cosy. Breakfast included is a bonus, and Helen and Adam are very convenient for arriving and departure time.

    Estelle2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • It was a really comfortable place to stay for a few days. Helen was very helpful and the fireplace was a great feature. The only minor thing was the matras which was harder than we are used to, but besides of that we had a great experience!

    Arjen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Helen and Adam were wonderful! Their place was impeccable, perfectly spacious for two and felt so personal! I'd say that I loved staying inside the room more than I liked being outside in Bristol! The fire place offers such a nice touch and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here x Highly recommend!

    Chhavi2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a real gem of a place, and excellent value for money - Helen and Andy are lovely and welcoming and the space was incredibly cosy and full of thoughtful touches. A 20 minute walk into the centre and plenty of eateries nearby made it very convenient. We'd love to stay again!

    Ellie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic use of space. Had everything we needed with nice little touches e.g. fire and Netflix. Location was fab , cheap Uber to basically anywhere we wanted to go. Hosts were inviting and helpful. It was rainy , windy and terrible weather some of the nights and the place was so warm and cosy ! For us it was this or a hotel costing around the same and I cannot recommend this enough

    Jordan2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Helen's place is a fantastic, cosy little place to stay. The annex was beautiful and we both enjoyed a comfortable few days. Communication was brilliant with both hosts with fast replies and the place had everything that you could need. The log burner was a fantastic addition to making the place warm and cosy and the location was perfect with the nearby bus stops. We really appreciated the fresh breakfast items in the mornings too! Couldn't recommend this place enough! Ella & Ewan

The Shepherds Hut is the ultimate romantic rural retreat for couples who are looking to get away from it all. Idyllically located looking out over the fields that line the River Avon and the beautiful rolling green hills beyond up to Kelston Round Hill– the Shepherds Hut is perfectly cosy and compact, offering a couple (+ 1 well-behaved dog*) all the comforts you would expect from bricks and mortar within a 20ft traditional shepherds hut, including a wood burner and outdoor hot tub!
INTRODUCTION *NOTE: 1 well-behaved dog is welcome at the Shepherds Hut at an additional cost of £30 per dog. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog and we will then revise your booking confirmation. Set within the owner’s 230-acre arable farm, the five outstanding properties that comprise Avon Farm Estate are decorated to a high standard, and each boasts a large open plan living area (except for the cute and compact Shepherds Hut!) There are goats and chickens on the farm, so if you are up early enough, you can help yourself to some fresh eggs or wander around the stables. Once you have settled into your Avon Farm holiday cottage you can decide what you want to do, probably a mix of relaxing in your comfortable space and testing out the hot tub, enjoying the flora and fauna surrounding the farm and just soaking up the atmosphere. However, if you wish to explore you can walk around the estate and stroll along the Avon River to the local public house on the riverbank, or for the more active, you can hire a bicycle from Clive and Serena (pre-booking required) head down the cycle path, which was once the old train track, to either Bath or Bristol – only 2 minutes from your accommodation, how green is that? Both cities are full of interesting places to visit and activities for all ages! The Shepherds Hut has been designed efficiently to maximise space and provide everything that you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The space is bright, airy and modern with a half glass-panel door and plenty of windows. Step up into the beautifully furnished main kitchenette/living area, and you will find your cosy double sleeping compartment at one end and surprisingly spacious shower room at the other. Every part of the hut has been created to maximise storage space, and within the various underbed or overhead cupboards you’ll find all manner of utensils – it’s all there! Guests have access to the 230 acres of land, which includes the River Avon, where you can do a spot of fishing (a licence is required). Take a walk through the farmland and you reach the local pub, which is situated on the bank of the river less than 1 mile away. The farm is also 2 minutes away from the Bristol and Bath cycle track, perfect for cyclists and walkers, and the property is close to Saltford Sailing Club. Surrounded by open countryside, Saltford is also known for its history and has a conservation area, with a restored brass mill (dating to 1720), an old manor house and a church with a Saxon tower. Just 6 miles away is the vibrant heritage city of Bath, which boasts the famous Roman baths, Thermae Bath spa, and the famous Royal Crescent, which is one of Bath’s most iconic landmarks. There are also several National Trust areas nearby, including Dyrham Park and Stourhead House. Hen parties are permitted; however, we ask that Avon Farm rules are respected (see below) and where possible members of the group travel together to avoid extra traffic on the farm lane. Avon Farm rules: respect the 10mph limit around the farm; keep to the 20mph limit on Avon Lane; no outside noise after 11pm; no hot tub use after 10pm; and lastly, please notify the owners if any outside services have been booked (e.g. a chef).   FACILITIES  Sleeps 2 in a double bed sleeping compartment  1 bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and washbasin  Parking  Gravelled immediate outdoor area and grass  Wood burner – 1 bag of logs, fire starter + lighter provided between Oct – April. The kitchenette is ideal for preparing simple meals, offering guests a Belfast sink, wooden worksurfaces, a microwave with a grill, toaster, fridge with freezer box and a kettle. Outside Guests at the Shepherds Hut have plenty of outdoor space, with a private hot tub, fire pit, charcoal BBQ, outdoor dining table + chairs and outdoor storage area for BBQ equipment. The Shepherds Hut benefits from some of the loveliest views on the whole estate – what better way to end a day than enjoying a BBQ and drink facing out over the luscious green hills?
Enjoying the Farm and its Facilities One of the biggest benefits about staying on a farm is there’s loads to see and do without even leaving the site, it’s great for families, friends and couples alike! Avon Farm Cottages have secured fishing rights for their stretch of the river, just a short walk from the holiday cottages. Guests are welcome to fish in the river, own equipment and licence required. Bicycles are available to hire from Clive and Serena. Please help yourselves to chicken eggs.  The chickens are beyond the car park through the opening onto the fields Not far from the chickens is a family of goats.  They like being fed vegetables, fruit, even bananas! Walk past the past the goats, follow the path down to the river and take a riverside walk either way along the public foot paths. The horses do not belong to the farm and are looked after by their owners who come daily to see them.  Please do not feed the horses, but they are always happy for a stroke on the nose and a hello. Next to the chickens is the poly tunnel, and when there is fresh produce, you’ll find some in your welcome pack, and can refill this when there is plenty. Feeling green fingered?  The grounds of the farm are always in need to something, so feel free to help us keep the farm looking lovely.  Whether that be a bit of weeding, dead heading, or just advice, we will welcome any help! All around this field are many blackberry bushes, please help yourselves when they are ripe. There are other tenants on the farm that either live with us in the converted barns, or just let a stable and field.  They are all very nice, and always happy to answer any questions! Local amenities Saltford is a vibrant community of more than 4,000 residents situated on the A4 between Keynsham and Bath, alongside the River Avon and the Bath-Bristol cycle-path. Its location makes Saltford the perfect hub for activities in the Avon Valley. The village is surrounded by open countryside, with lanes, riverside walks and lovely views across the Avon Valley. Saltford is widely known for its history, with the ‘old village’ lying within a Conservation Area and including St Mary’s Church (over 1,000 years old with a Saxon tower); Saltford Manor House, a Grade II listed building estimated to date to the Norman era and thought to be the oldest continuously occupied private house in England; and the restored Ancient Brass Mill (1720), which is a gem of industrial heritage. • ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE! Would 100% recommend! Amazing views and an amazing place to stay! Would definitely return back here! The Shepherds Hut was amazingly clean and cosy! The bed was comfy and it was very warm inside throughout the day and night! The jacuzzi was perfectly relaxing and in the perfect spot to look up at the views and the stars at night time! Very romantic and it feels like you’re in the middle of no where with all the privacy in the world! The stables near by were very pretty and it was lovely to see the horses, goats and chickens and also being able to walk around the grounds! This place is 10 minutes away from a huge car park near the main town where you can walk around to see the amazing shops and also the Christmas market! (Depending what time of year you go of course!) This was a surprise trip for my partners birthday and he fell in love with it the same as me when I booked it! My high expectations of this place were definitely matched and we had the best stay ever! THANK YOU!

  • Really amazing place to stay, very romantic and has everything you need!

    Danielle2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Characterful and cosy in a BEAUTIFUL location. It’s got the perfect balance of feeling like it’s in the middle of no where whilst still being within walking distance of shops and lovely pubs. The hut itself was clean and well stocked with a welcome pack and everything you could possibly need to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It felt very secluded and private despite being on farm, but we knew we could call our hosts or pop up to the office if we needed anything. The BBQ, hot tub and fire pit worked brilliantly in the wintery weather. An all round AMAZING stay! Can’t wait to go back. Thanks!

We recently transformed our large, 70 sq. meter, double garage into a stylish, open plan studio apartment, with bleached oak, hard wood floor and under floor heating. It is a fantastic, light and relaxing space with 3 meter bifold doors with integrated blinds, that fully open out onto a shared court yard with our house. There are large electric velux sky lights with blackout blinds. It is a fantastic light space to relax or work. It has its own private access from the street.
The main room has a very comfortable king-size sofa bed (6 foot 6 x 4 foot 8 inch), a dining area and a double desk. We have a brand new 40 inch smart TV, (with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Freeview, BBC Iplayer) and wifi. It is heated via electric underfloor heating. The bathroom is a lovely space. It has a power shower, sink and loo. It has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. There is also a utility room with sink, toaster and kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a fridge freezer. Please note that we do not have cooking facilities but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby! We will provide a continental style breakfast including a choice of cereals, bread, jams, tea, coffee and milk for the morning. Essentials such as bin bags, washing up equipment, shampoo, conditioner and towels and a hair dryer are provided.
We are fabulously located in the north of Bristol. It is located 1 min walk from the famous Gloucester Road, which is one of the largest High Streets in the UK and has the most independent shops of any street in the country. It is packed with great places to eat and drink, listen to music and party. Walk for 30-40 mins down the Gloucester Road and you will be in Bristol City Center. There are also buses every few minutes. Bristol Rovers and Gloucester Cricket Ground are both a short walk. Beautiful Clifton and the Clifton Suspension Bridge is a nearby. We are also very close to Filton, which is home to many businesses including; Airbus, Rolls Royce and the MOD.
  • Ideally situated for visiting Bristol, regular bus service within five minutes of the Studio. Very clean and lots of thought has gone into all the decoration and facilities. Parking space is a major bonus.

  • The perfect place to stay for a restful and peaceful weekend. We will be recommending the pods to just about anyone who will listen! The pod is sparkling clean and such a great use of space. It feels homely and cosy as soon as you arrive. Fantastic facilities to cook and enjoy meals with plenty of cutlery and silverware provided. The hot tub is easy to use and very relaxing and positioned perfectly with privacy. Also highly recommend Zinga Indian takeaway who delivered to the gate very quickly, the food was amazing. Casita Paraiso Eco Chalet is one of the UK's first tiny houses. Designed by sculptor/architect Miguel Humbert, it is a romantic little hideaway for one or two. Music venues, cafes, restaurants nearby and the City Farm 20 minutes down the hill in St. Werburghs. It is very central and perfect for exploring all that Bristol has to offer, train 5 minutes away, national coach and busses. We are in the heart of cosmopolitan Montpelier- voted the 'hippest' neighbourhood in UK by TravelSupermarket
Casita provides a perfect space to relax and unwind, whether you're here for work or play. It's a sun-trap, south-facing, with a tall rosebush for shade on the wooden decking and seating. You will need to mount the curved, hand built stairs, to the cozy king sized bed above. Its porthole window comes from the Bristol docks, and some of the design is slightly Rudolf Steiner-ish. It was my son's space for many years, well out of sight and sound of mama for his overnight guests..... The main house has been our family home for over 28 years, so we are well equipped for many things, and events. Our first floor bedroom was the home of Bristol's first ever salsa and lambada dance studio in 1991..
Walking down Picton Street, the first shopping centre of the old city, you will be greeted by local artist Alex Lucas's pink mural "Welcome to Montpelier". There are a number of gorgeous historic buildings nearby. 5 minutes’ walk takes you to St. Werburghs, an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city. Highlights include the city farm, self-build community ‘The Yard’, numerous allotments, Gaudi-like cafe and local's favourite pub The Farm. 10 minutes’ walk takes you to the organic supermarket and cafe Better Foods. Richmond Road is a particularly special place, with an eclectic mix of residents. We have a home for the learning disabled, people from various religious and ethnic backgrounds, grand colourful Grade 2 listed buildings and Daddy G/Massive Attack's tastefully period home and garden. We came here partly because it reminded us of Ladbroke Grove & Portobello Road- positive and creative people from all over the world. The excellent Cadbury pub is 30 seconds down the hill, a great place to meet friendly residents from our wonderful community. Bristol has been getting quite a reputation for its food scene, and in Montpelier it doesn’t have to break the bank! For eating out your choices are endless - from the timeless Bristolian cafe, to the exotic Thali Cafe and arguably the best pizza in town at Napolita. In the morning you can walk down to Herbert’s, a family-run bakery that you can be easily found by following your nose. If you want to work up an appetite then why not try the Bristol Climbing Centre, a stunning set of climbing and bouldering walls set inside an old church (you can even climb up in to the clock tower!).
  • Very cute space and so comfortable. Anita thinks of all the little things you might need. Loved our stay.

    Sofia2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Anita was very communicative and friendly and extremely accomodating. You have to go through the house to reach the airbnb bit and it just felt like I lived there with here and she knew me lol. Good stay and very nice environment. Town is about 15-20 walk and takes you on a journey through lots of places to eat. The tiny house is very cozy and stays warm easily.

    Jamie2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Second time of staying. Beautiful space and in what I think is the best area in Bristol. Thanks again and I am sure I will be back if you’ll have me.

  • Absolutely loved our stay at this tiny house! Went for a couple days with my boyfriend, and it was our first time visiting Bristol. The location was great, away from the Main Street so nice and quiet, but just down the road were some lovely cafe/brunch spots. And down a little further some fun and unique pubs/bars. The tiny house itself was perfect for a couple days. It was a little cold at times, but with the heater on for a little bit, and the extra blankets provided it was easily manageable. The host Anita was lovely, responded quickly to any messages, and helped with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

  • Anita is so friendly and helpful. The 'treehouse', as I kept calling it, was so pretty, cosy and unique. It was like glamping! The location is ideal with Stokes Croft just down the road and the Bristolian cafe is a must - we ate there twice over the long weekend!

Our cute little cottage is available in north Bristol. Ideally located for visiting Bristol and Bath. The cottage has recently undergone a large renovation (Nov 18) The living room has a wonderful floor to ceiling fireplace with wood burner. Perfect for cosy evenings in. Sofa is also a sofa bed The kitchen is modern and fitted with a small table and chairs for breakfast. The upper floor has two bedrooms, and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The bathroom has bath, separate shower wc etc.
This little railway workers cottage was constructed in the 1830’s for the Employees of the Bristol to Bath railway. It was constructed using recycled stones from the discarded buildings around it. In generations past the cottage would sell tickets for the steam railway which is adjacent to the cottage. This cottage is the only one in its location to keep its original and quite unusual stairs. The cottage has been sympathetically restored and is light and bright keeping a wealth of unusual features and quirks. It’s a truly warm and comfortable little home. The location is semi rural and offers great links to central Bristol and Bath. The Avon valley railway is a short stroll away. And the Bristol to Bath cycle path is just metres away. There are local walking routes including the golden valley way which can be enjoyed by humans and doggy friends. Incidentally we do welcome dogs.
The local area is semi rural and pretty quiet. With a few local shops, a good pub and fantastic chip shop. Just a few miles away are the buzzing and historic cities of Bristol and Bath. They can both be reached easily via a car or via the cycle path should you want to cycle.
  • Lovely cottage, sweet enclosed garden. All the basic necessities to cook & eat, fresh bread, milk, eggs & butter on arrival. Comfy bed & stylish furnishings. Really cosy, I'd stay again!

There is free on street parking and breakfast is included and it will be all or most of the below: Bread, eggs, butter, peanut butter, chocolate spread, honey, jam, yeast extract, coffee, tea, milk, cereals, biscuits and fruits. My aim is to offer you a cozy, comfortable and clean room so you can enjoy your stay.
The house has access to a private garden with table and chairs.
    Quiet and safe neighborhood.
  • Dena’s loft has everything you would need for a short getaway. I was staying for a weekend course and found it really welcoming and comfortable. There is plenty of parking on the road and the WiFi is nice and strong. An extra bonus is that a range of breakfast items is provided which means less planning is required. Dena and her family are really lovely and friendly, they deserve their high ratings.

Although on-street parking on their road was full when I arrived, I was able to park in a street just round the corner.

The selection of books was so good that the tv didn't even get turned on. Would highly recommend this cottage to all.

We live on a friendly, family oriented cul-de-sac that benefits from stunning views (that can be seen from the garden and surrounding fields). No through traffic for a quiet night's sleep. During the day the kids are out playing on the street, a mixture of council and private tenants occupy the terraced houses.

  • Idyllic, peaceful retreat. We loved our time here the cabin was a sanctuary tucked away in the peaceful countryside. We stayed as a surprise trip for my boyfriends birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Close access to Bath (around 30 minute drive) but we easily could have stayed at the cabin quite happily as it had everything we needed! We can’t wait to visit again in the near future! Only one advisory, the shower wasn’t warm during our stay, the host is very quick to respond and did attempt to fix it but unfortunately it wasn’t successful, apart from that issue the rest of our stay was wonderful.

    Abigail2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful! So clean and the underfloor heating is amazing. It was the middle of January and we were so toasty. The hot tub is such a nice bonus and the view of the lake. Lynn was always on hand to help us with anything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to come back here!

    Elaine2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous little cabin. Absolutely exceeded expectations and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was such a lovely added bonus and we loved the heated flooring. Chipping Sodbury has lots of great restaurants including an Italian, good British pub food and a Thai that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and will be back for the summer

    Kirsty2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little pod with everything that you can ever ask for. Was incredibly clean and furnished very nicely. Had a great few days away. The hot tub is an added bonus! Will definitely be returning in the future.

  • The Kingfisher pod was a stunning little place to escape to! Surprisingly easy to find and super cosy to stay in. Clean and tidy and easy to find everything. The best bit, the hot tub! We were lucky to have two clear nights, there was no light pollution so stargazing while relaxing in the hot tub was amazing! The pod was lovely, it had pretty much all the things you need and the bed was super comfy. Such a great location, so peaceful. Great for nature lovers/ bird watchers...really enjoyed watching the cormorants and herons. Lynn was great at communicating and overall our stay was fantastic would recommend to anyone and everyone! Thank you Lynn!

  • Helen's suite is the only Airbnb I'd now consider staying at in Bristol. The location is ideal for a small walk into the centre, meaning it is not loud or busy around the house at all. The views are incredible and the velux window in the suite showcases this beautifully. The room is spacious, with two comfortable double beds, seating and the gorgeous ensuite. It is clean, warm and comfortable. Helen is an absolute darling - so warm, welcoming and full of information about her favourite city of Bristol. She was also kind enough to offer us some of her chicken's yummy eggs. There is loads of information (leaflets, books and posters) about the area, with an personalised information sheet to compliment this. There is a parking space in the garden and you are also welcome to use the kitchen to make yourself food or drink. The room comes with amenities such as chargers, toiletries, linen, towels, umbrella, hairdryers and blankets. Would 10000% stay again! Thank you Helen.

  • My friend and I had an amazing stay at Helen's. There were little thoughtful touches all around the house, communication with Helen was smooth and the location is great. Would definitely book again if in Bristol.

  • Imagine a excellent stay in Bristol in a very Bristolian house... so this is much more farther. Beautiful, cozy with nice arty touches. And Hellen's warm welcome words can shake out all cold and rain drops from Your coat and soul. But watch out... it's hard to leave that place;))

  • Helen's accommodation is perfect to enjoy an ideal stay in Bristol. It is a large room with its own bathroom (and what a bathroom!), Very cozy and with two large comfortable beds. In the same room there is a kettle, teas, coffees, a bottle of water, glasses and cups, all prepared for a self service nothing to envy to a hotel. In addition, there are adapters for Spanish plugs (detail that for example saved us from solitary confinement because we don't even remember that we were going to have that handicap). White sheets, soft blankets and 4 pillows per bed, we could not sleep better. The hostess leaves a little carpet with information about what you can serve in the kitchen and about supermarkets and places of interest in Bristol. As for the private bathroom, it is renovated and is very modern; Helen leaves towels, gels and shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper and toothpaste. The wall shower is a shower tray with a screen with a transparent door, the shower head is on the ceiling. The house has total English air, wooden floors and stairs, are 3 floors. The kitchen was very nice, we could get bread, milk, make coffee and tea, fruit and also Helen has chickens and every morning there are fresh eggs available to enjoy. But in addition to all this, the owner Helen makes everything much more hospitable. He even made us a lemon pie! Super discreet, extremely friendly and available, it has been a success to choose your stay, we also went with two babies.

Close to Bristol Parkway, M4, M32, UWE and 5 miles from Bristol city center. A very quiet base for workers visiting during the week. The annex has its own private entrance and is separate from our main home. Facilities include a private en-suite shower room, king size bed, WIFI, TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, and off street parking for one medium sized car on our gated driveway. The annex is self check in, and would suit guests that are confident using the internet on their phone.
The studio doesn't come with a separate kitchen (see floor plan), but makes up for it by being totally private and separate from our main home. We are extremely popular with workers looking for a comfy and private stay during the week. We are less popular with guest who are looking for night life in Bristol and guests who are not confident using the internet on their phone tend to find the self check in process difficult. The location is peaceful and quiet with the closest pub being about 800 meters away (8 min walk) and the closest shop/supermarket about 1 mile away. We recommend you bring your own transport, however there a lots of buses into the city center. Very long cars may struggle to park on our driveway, However there are lots of parking options on Beckspool Rd or Riverwood Rd. Message me to discuss.
We are in the Frenchay conservation area which includes many historic Georgian buildings and the beautiful Frenchay common is a only a few steps away from our home. If you walk through the common for about 8 mins you will find the White Lion pub which has excellent food and drinks. From there you can walk along the Frome valley river which goes the 5 miles into Bristol.
  • Exactly as described, excellent check in details, communication was really good, very clean, warm.

Our beautiful basement flat has a modern, stylish space, perfectly located for exploring Bristol! With vibrant Clifton on your door step, opposite the Lido and with the city centre just a 10 minute bus ride away you couldn't be in a more central location! If you're a business traveller we are minutes away from the BBC, University of Bristol and 10 minutes from the BRI.
The flat is spacious, modern and perfect for both business and pleasure! We've kept the decor simplistic throughout the flat to suit all travellers, however you will still see our personal touches here and there... As you enter the property you will enter into the spacious living/dining area. The sofa is brand new and one of the comfiest we've had! Not only is it the comfiest but it also pulls out into a sofabed should you wish to travel as a group of 3 or 4. Walking down the hallway towards the kitchen you have the bathroom on your right with a separate bath and shower, all brand new and modern. The main bedroom is located at the back of the flat overlooking the patio area - we've kept everything minimal and created a calming atmosphere. There's space for clothes in the bedroom, along with hangers in the wardrobe if you want to hang anything up. Parking permits are available on request The kitchen is kitted out with all the mod cons you need - dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove and kettle etc. If you continue through the kitchen you can walk out on to the sun bathed patio right at the back of the property. We've been lucky enough to get a large, south facing patio in Clifton so make the most of it! We've left table and chairs out there for you to enjoy the sun. Parking permits are available on request.
Clifton speaks for itself - the area is gushing with character and you'll never be lost for things to do. The famous Clifton Lido is a stones throw away (visible from the top of the steps!) and the surrounding area is brimming with bars, restaurants and cafes. We will leave a MyQuarter card in the flat which will get you 10% discount at Racks Bar and Kitchen on St Paul's Road!

  • Gorgeous little pod. Instructions provided ensured finding the location and was easy and check-in was simple. All the essentials included, cutlery, glasses, tea, coffee, etc. Only issue we had was trying to fit the key in the key box at the end of our stay but maybe that was just us! 😊

    Rachel2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and tidy on arrival, very easy check in and easy to find. Space is very well utilised and the cabin has everything you need for a weekend away from towels to a fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub was prepared on arrival with clear instructions for use.

  • Amazing little pod with all you need to have a lovely relaxing stay. We loved watching the ducks float around and we were even lucky enough to see a deer from the hot tub. Bath is only a 25 minute drive so we nipped in one day for a spot of lunch and sight seeing. Highly recommend!

  • Rachaels place is beautiful, quiet, clean and the perfect little getaway, the pod was charming, we had everything we needed and more! I can’t wait to come back, highly recommended!

  • We loved our stay and this is a really well designed pod. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was lovely. We really liked the little seasonal touches like a xmas themed cushion, christmas tree with lights and wreath by the jacuzzi. The kitchen was as expected and we were prepared to cook without an oven. It was really nicely designed and cooking utensils were good (frying pan, pot, cutlery etc). We took our own wok and bowls as I knew they wouldnt have my preferred cooking pan, but everything they had was of good quality. Underfloor heating worked a treat and the view from the bed is wonderful and well thought through. Location is very peaceful and idylic and I was impressed by the positioning of the pod and jacuzzi- very private ensuring no one over looks you. Chiminea was a nice luxury and lovely to sit by in the evenings. Based on our experience we would stay again.

The apartment is newly developed and is spacious and light. Our guests consistently say that it is really spacious and beautiful.
