Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in Gaasterland, southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, space garden, an outdoor BBQ (on gas). The Gaasterland is well known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the nearby area.

The cottage was newly built in 2019, it features underfloor heating. Downstairs are the living room with kitchen, a spacious double bedroom and the bathroom. Upstairs two bedrooms can accommodate 3 people. The cottage has its own driveway with parking. At about 2 kilometers is the village of Oudemirdum, here you will find the necessary amenities ( bakery, butcher, supermarket and restaurants). Nijemirdum is right on the beautiful Zuiderzeeroute, often ridden by cyclists.

Our house on de Koggeplaet in Elahuizen is really right on de Fluessen and by the harbor. From the terrace, unobstructed views over the lake. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and in the garden! Elahuizen is located in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A quiet place for sailing, cycling, hiking or skating! The forest and a golf course in Gaasterland are also nearby! In the months of July and August we only use Friday as arrival and departure day.
