Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Atmospheric and spacious farmhouse Friesland

Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in the Gaasterland, Southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, spacious garden, an outdoor BBQ (gas). The Gaasterland is known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the vicinity.

The cottage was completely newly built in 2019, it has underfloor heating. Downstairs is the living room with kitchen, a spacious 2-person bedroom and the bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms suitable for three people. The cottage has its own driveway with parking. About 2 kilometers away is the village of Oudemirdum, here you will find the necessary amenities (bakery, butcher, supermarket and restaurants). Nijemirdum is located on the beautiful Zuiderzee route, often ridden by cyclists.

Our house is in a unique location, between the meadows and directly on the open water. Here you immediately get the holiday feeling! From the beautiful garden, you have a wide view, you can sit in the sun on one of the two terraces by the water, swim in front of the door and from the private jetty (12m) you can sail onto the Frisian lakes.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Sloten has only 700 inhabitants, but the town is still a party to visit because of its fantastic and cozy monumental buildings and restaurants, the small but intriguing museum and beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. As one of the Frisian Eleven Cities, Sloten is also an ideal base for water sports enthusiasts and (in winter) skating trips on the Slotermeer.
