We, the Kenkel family, have been living in the old manor house since 2006, which was built in 1938 by Miss. Paula Rath as a commercial building for the Dammerstorfer estate and was sold in 1942 to the aircraft manufacturer Ernst Heinkel as a hunting lodge. Our 2-hectare farm is located on the L19 between Bad Sülze and Sanitz, about 20 km east of Rostock and 30 km from the Baltic Sea in the middle of an approx. 600-hectare mixed forest. The 3 approx. 150 sqm parking spaces are available for campers, RVs and tents.

Large holiday home with Pool

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

Fantastic apartment near the Baltic Sea

You are located in the northeast of the Hanseatic city of Rostock, directly and only 15 minutes' walk from the Warnow, 10-15 minutes' drive from Warnemünde beach. The Baltic Sea beach in Markgrafenheide, Hohe Düne or Graal Müritz can also be reached in about 20 minutes by car without problems. The city center can also be reached in about 10 minutes via the highway (A19) and federal highway (B105). Shopping facilities can be reached in just 5 minutes by car from the apartment.

We offer an approx. 65 square meter cottage for rent. Solid amenities. You'll find everything you need. The living room invites you to linger and on the upper floor you will find 2 bedrooms. Kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave and other kitchen accessories. Washing machine also available. The semi-detached house is located in an idyllic village (Kessin) 2 km from the city center of Rostock. In the center of town you will find a modern bakery where you can have breakfast or get a piece of cake for coffee in the afternoon. A shopping facility is accessible in 2 minutes by car (Lidl). The beach is 20 minutes by car. (A20 and A19 are directly connected). Kessin is right on the Warnow. A boat and canoe rental can be reached in a few minutes by car.

This small apartment with a bedroom, hallway and bathroom is located in the house where we live and work. About 16 km from Rostock, it is a good starting point for exploring the surroundings, by car, bike or on foot, for the beach 26 km away or simply to relax in the tranquility of the small village in the countryside. Of course, a longer stay, e.g. for professional or training reasons, is possible by arrangement.

The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming apartments and lovingly designed representative rooms. Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished and spacious Georg suite. The suite, named after the last landlord, has two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub, all with its 85 m². From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire estate.
