Enjoy the preserved history of this updated shotgun home, with details such as restored heartpine floors, exposed brick, and even thoughtful displays of old wallpapers and news clippings . HeartPine and Soul comes complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, a small deck, and a custom-built brick patio. The house has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Two full baths. And a sofa that converts to a queen bed. The house can accommodate a maximum of six guests. We offer a pack-and-play for those toting a tot with them. Very residential and historic neighborhood. Street parking, but not congested. We consider no pets, no parties, no loud noises, and no smoking. We also kindly request no shoes be worn in the house. I love Louisville, and so will you! Inside HeartPine and Soul, there is a detailed guidebook to the house, neighborhood, and city, containing helpful information and tidbits. As a hostess, I offer lots of privacy, yet if you need assistance or even some dining recommendations, I’m a quick phone call or text message away! I also love communicating thru the AirBnB app. This is a historic residential area around the corner from Flying Axes, Goodwood Taproom, Quills Coffee, Naïve, and future site of the Louisville City Football Club stadium. HeartPine and Soul is central to the Urban Bourbon Trail-- a quick ride to Angel's Envy, Rabbit Hole, and Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery. Convenient location to KFC Yum! Center. Six miles to Churchill downs. Street parking, but not congested. Guests may park in front of the house. If you don’t have a car during your stay, Lyft and Uber are abundant in the Butchertown neighborhood. There’s also a bikeshare station called LouVelo, so you may pedal across town. The closest station is the west Butchertown station at Main & Clay. Some of the original landscape paintings in the home are by Mike Stevens and are for sale.
