  • We had a lovely stay at Andrew’s beautiful quaint cottage. Everything we needed was there. And was very relaxing. A pity we couldn’t take advantage of the hot tub as it was a little difficult with the baby but everything else was perfect. A few pubs in the village and a supermarket close for any extras needed. Visited Southerndown which was only 20 minutes away. A lovely beach. Would definitely recommend.

    Gillian2020-02-13T00:00:00Z

  • The space was absolutely beautiful, well thought, special pieces were chosen to give a cozy and also elegant vibe. Very clean, great for a few nights. We did not have a chance to explore much of the area as we stayed for 1 night and were very tired, but we enjoyed spending time in and watching movies.😁great facility! I really appreciated the products in the bathroom, it is very helpful if you run out. Emma was supportive as we had some last moment changes in our initial plan. Thank you very much!

  • Spotlessly clean, light, spacious and stylish annexe. Thoughtful touches from the warm and helpful hosts help to make you feel really at home.

    Sacha2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Prepare yourselves for the shower.... Man oh man is that thing incredible! Which incidentally fits in perfectly with the beautiful experience you will have. The entire decor and feel of 'The Cwtch' was wonderfully relaxing. It was immaculate (even by my OCD standards!) and the bed was the right kind of comfortable (medium firmness) with lovely linens and towels. Emma was so welcoming and accommodating, she gave us great directions to escape the flooded local area when it was sadly time for us to leave, also with great recommendations for a nearby yummy breakfast. We look forward to returning soon and playing the Barry/Barri version of Monopoly!!

    Melissa2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a find! Such a lovely place to stay and has everything you need. Jay and Emma really have thought of everything for their annex. 5 Stars all round and would definitely recommend :-)

  • Emma is a great host! She thought of equipping the whole apartment so that you did not miss anything, towels, dishes for eating, hair dryer, iron, cd available, beautiful surf books. We had a superb stay and we will come back to surf at Llantwit major

    Manon2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay at Emma's beautiful Annex! Very cosy and clean. During our stay we were joined by storm Dennis, but it didn't matter as we enjoyed a rainy walk at Ogmore beach nearby and came back to a lovely space, a cuppa tea and a film! It was the perfect place to be on a rainy day! :) Thanks Emma and Jay for making us feel so welcome! Would highly recommend.

Garden View is your Llantwit Major home away from home. Tucked away in a quiet spot just a stone's throw from the village's pubs, shops and restaurants, our cottage has everything you need for your holiday. Whether you fancy exploring the local coastal path, or just lounging around, we look forward to welcoming you. Garden View has one-bedroom, an ample living area, dining room, kitchen, conservatory and garden to ensure that you have everything you need to make your break special.
Garden View has everything you might possibly need to enjoy your holiday. If your idea of time out is to stay put and lounge around, then you will find the living area the perfect spot to rest and while away the hours. We believe that holidays are for switching off, and so you won't find a television but will find plenty of books to curl up and read in the cosy living room, or on a summer's day, in the conservatory or patio. For those who need to be connected, we also do have Wi-Fi access! If you fancy something a little more active, then Garden View provides a wonderful base for surrounding the local area. We have compiled a list of local walks and activities - so you will be able to find something to suit your interests. We are also more than happy to answer any questions you may have, so please just ask if you are curious about the local area. **Note: We are new to Airbnb but have 100% positive reviews from a previous rental company over the past 6 months. **
Llantwit Major is such a beautiful village, with every amenity on your doorstep. From the local pubs where you you will be made to feel at home, to the well-stocked shops, and highly-recommended restaurants too. The village is just a 20 minute walk from a stunning pebbly beach, and for those who are more adventurous, a walk along the coastal path will take you to St Donats, which is home to a medieval Tythe Barn and UWC Atlantic College.
  • The cottage is a lovely space with everything you could need, a well equip kitchen, fast WiFi and a comfy lounge area. It was very clean and tidy. The location is great for walking, the beach was just a 30 minute walk and lots of maps and leaflets in the cottage for inspiration. And lots of pubs and places to eat / drink near by. We felt very looked after. Thank you

    India2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautiful, we had a brilliant stay, it is decorated lovely and has everything that you need for your stay, the cottage is very well located, Llantwit Major is a beautiful little town with excellent transport links, we explored Wales from here and was even able to get the train into Cardiff from Llantwit Major. There are lovely little pubs a few minutes walk from the cottage and plenty of local amenities, Jane was so helpful and there were lovely finishing touches such as fresh daffodils and Busicuits on arrival. We hope to come back, this place is a real little Gem xx

    Jemma2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This gorgeous cottage is perfect for a couple. It is newly refurbished, warm & extremely stylish. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious shower room with toiletries & huge fluffy towels. The double bedroom is large, but the ceiling is quite low, so mind your head if you are tall! The mattress is extremely comfortable. The cottage is in the quaint old part of town, within walking distance to all the pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops & beach. You really don’t need to use the car during your stay and it’s only a few minutes from the train station if you want to travel into Cardiff. There is even a little parking space (but lots of other parking nearby as well). Jane, the owner, lives next door and obviously puts a lot of effort into making the cottage so welcoming. It was absolutely spotless. We had such a relaxing stay, thank you Jane & Laura.

Quirky guest suite situated within a beautiful converted church. Llantwit Major is a small coastal town with excellent shops, supermarkets, historic pubs, eating out and takeaways. About 25 minutes walk to local beach. Excellent transport links to Cardiff and the Airport via train or bus, via the station, just a few minutes walk through the town.
The choir area of this Victorian church has been converted to provide a lovely wood-floored living room and kitchen area, retaining the original stained-glass windows, arched doorways and pitch-pine panelling. Heating is supplied by a large cosy log-burner, on the site of the original pulpit! The bedroom has a comfy double-bed and limed-oak furniture. Bathroom has shower and generous bath. Electric heaters are also provided.
The apartment is situated on the "Beach Road", where walkers form the main traffic. This is a quiet part of the historic town of Llantwit Major, just minutes from delightful 16th century taverns and other ancient buildings. St Illtud's Church dates from 500AD, "the cradle of Celtic Christianity" and houses Celtic stones dating back to the 8th century. A 25 minute walk takes you to the Heritage coast and beach, with its stunning geology, the Welsh Coastal Path, and nature reserves. Around 2 1/2 miles west is St Donats Castle, originally built in 14th century, once owned by William Randolph Hearst, and now home to Atlantic College. We provide leaflets outlining a great range of rural walks from your doorstep, or a short bus ride away, if, like us, you enjoy car-free days out.
  • Lovely little stay, a warm welcome, great location and all the facilities you need.

  • Great apartment in a fab location for the Glamorgan heritage coast. Lovely places to eat, drink and visit on the doorstep. We loved southerndown although the coast path is very soggy right now! Cosy stay and lovely to be in a church. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very private. We enjoyed the board games!

  • We had an amazing stay, the weather wasn't that great but the log fire ready made up for it, gave such a cosy feeling. The instructions were easy to follow, with the directions getting there and getting into the place. Close walk to the pub and the beach only a short drive away! Would highly recommend, We're thinking of returning in the summer when the weather is nicer.

  • Accommodating host! Great value! I was passing through last minute and needed a safe place to rest for the night. Lyn's was perfect. Off street parking. Incredible back garden! The bedroom is right next to the street so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear buds. Cooked my own dinner but couldn't find a washing up rag! I hope it was okay I left items in the dishwasher. Shared bathroom with the upstairs tenant. All in all, great value.

    Angela2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect location for an overnight stay if you are attending a wedding at Rosedew Farm. We were able to have a drink, leave the car and walk back to the property. Lyn had left us a nice loaf for breakfast and fresh milk. Thanks for a cosy stay with everything we needed provided!

    Rebecca2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great

    Eloise2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wedding at Rosedew Farm so we were looking for somewhere clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay. Lyn’s place was perfect for what we needed. Only thing I would say is it is listed as “entire place”, however, it is the complete downstairs of the property and they were still there but upstairs, which shared the front door, which is exposed to the downstairs kitchen / living area. It was fine for what we needed but if you wanted complete privacy, it is more of a private floor than entire place. The bathroom had a wet room styled shower which was fine for our 1 night, however, again, if you are looking for a few nights, the bathroom gets soaked when you shower. Lyn was a great host; responded really quickly, gave great directions to find the property as it is hard to find on google maps, and was hospitable in providing tea coffee, milk and bread. The bed was really comfortable and the place was very homely. We really enjoyed our stay, so thank you Lyn!

    Leah2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little air bnb which was perfect for a stay after a wedding

    Louise2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • 8 Manor Park is a fantastic location. We stayed two nights and walked through fields to the beautiful coast and did a circular walk including a part of the coastal path. Llantwit Major is a beautiful village with loads of interesting buildings. St Illtyd's church is well worth a visit with its collection of Celtic crosses / stones. There is a good selection of eating places and we really enjoyed a sausage roll from the Humble Bee bakehouse. Lyn made our stay very pleasant giving us a nice welcome and gave us helpful information and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The house was cosy and well equipped and was a good base for a very peaceful and restful stay.

    Andrew2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lyns home was very stylist, and clean. She left us some very thoughtful touches, bread and milk. My only criticism was that the bathroom.was outside the flat, when in the middle off night you needed the loo, it was a bit inconvenient

    Alison2019-09-22T00:00:00Z

  • Nick's response to my initial request was very prompt, which took a weight off my mind as I was booking last minute. Check in time was very flexible which was also a bonus as I didn't know for sure what time I would arrive. Communication was great. I was made very welcome when I arrived by Nick and the two wee dogs, Max and Lucy. Nick's home is warm, cosy and welcoming. I was too tired to socialise much after my long journey, but Nick made me a very welcome cup of tea and welcomed me into his sitting room for a sit down and we chatted. I found him to be open and friendly, interested in people, well travelled and good to talk to. I felt at home and comfortable in his company. The bedroom was very comfortable and warm. A little bit of noise from the road when window was open, but I found this comforting, not excessive. The bathroom was well equipped with bath and shower over bath, clean towels provided. I chose to skip breakfast as I had a big meal the night before, so couldn't comment on breakfast. For the location and facilities provided, the price is very competitive, I couldn't ask for more.

The studio/annex is at the rear of the main property and is self-contained with it's own private access. It has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and would suit professionals, families or couples and sleeps up to 4 people. During your stay you can have total privacy, your own patio and access to the sauna (NB: £5/bag wood). • Such a beautiful place in a lovely area. Highly recommend it to anyone.

  • Sam is a brilliant and accommodating host. We used her barn conversion as a filming location as well as accommodation and it was faultless. Fantastic location, and the photos really don’t do it justice, it’s even nicer in person! Just one important thing to note is there is NO kitchen. So just bear that in mind when booking. Other than that, brilliant. Will hopefully have an opportunity to stay there again in the future.

    Jack2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying here. Beautiful space. Super cosy. Would book again. Sam was very helpful and a great host

  • Gorgeous barn conversion. Ideal for a chilled weekend away. Lots of lovely walks nearby and easy access from Cardiff and to nearby Cowbridge where there are cute shops and nice restaurants. Sam was an excellent host.

  • Great place to stay, compact and bijou. Jane and Stew have thought of everything, we had a very comfortable stay with beautiful views across the fields. Highly recommend for the area, ideal for visiting Cardiff and surrounding areas.

    Beverley2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a bijou space providing a bedroom and shower room. Within the bedroom there are facilities such as a microwave, utensils and fridge. Our hosts thought of everything - even down to milk, water, fresh orange and wine - how wonderful is that! We brought our dog, she was also treated with her own blanket, bowl and treats. I have to say we have never visited such clean and fresh accommodation, not that it was clinical it was beautifully homely. I can’t recommend highly enough. Super little space.

    Heather2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jane and Stewart's Suite, which I booked last minute due to an unexpected cancellation by my original host. The Suite is located in a beautiful, peaceful area, set apart from the main road but within easy reach of the local village and shops. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, fitted with an electric blanket, and the Suite was equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, including hot chocolate, magazines and a brolly for rainy days. Jane and Stewart were so welcoming and helpful, allowing me a late check-out, providing me with a lift to and from the local village and informing me of local events to explore during my stay. Their hospitality and kindness really made the difference and I felt very welcomed into their beautiful Suite, which I hope I have treated with the same kindness and respect they have shown me. I will most definitely re-book the Suite if and when I return to the area, and highly recommend to anyone visiting St Athans or Cowbridge. With their accommodation and kindness, Jane and Stewart are truly the epitome of Superhosts!

  • Amazing place- lovely touches, very well equipped. Very cosy.

    Jenny2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two nights and picked this property as it was convenient and dog friendly. We were certainly not disappointed. The location is perfect for Cardiff and the surrounding area. Our welcome was friendly and our 8 month German Shepherd was warmly welcomed to. This makes all the difference to us, where we go she goes. The B&B was sparkling clean with everything you could want and more, little touches like milk in the fridge (yes in a proper bottle), wine and a coffee machine were a cut above. There was loads of info on the local area and free view tv. The bed was very comfortable. But the whole thing was made special by the exceptional hospitality of Stewart and Jane. All I can say is ‘just perfect’ - highly recommended.

    Helen2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very clean, pleasant and well equipped for a small space. We spent three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Stewart and Jane are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and provide thoughtful little extras such as milk, cereal, tea, coffee which was much appreciated after a long drive. Thank you.

    Karen2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stewart and Jane were excellent hosts. Little touches, like individual red and white wine, fresh juice and milk, make it a that little bit better. After missing the bus connection for the train station, Stewart drove us down. The accommodation was tastefully furnished, modern with all the little extras included, tea and coffee pods. Highly recommended

  • Absolutely gorgeous! We had a peaceful and very friendly stay in Mid January. The room is a little cold so do ask for extra heating if you go mid winter but we had breakfast outside in the sun one bright January morning. For walkers, cyclists and dog owners it's the perfect spot and Tom who owns the pub, The Cross, is an absolute gem. Helpful and very friendly hosts. We'll be back.

    Anne2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Traveling for a wedding in Cardiff, so we had limited Interaction with the hosts but, regardless, they were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cottage was clean and warm. We truely enjoyed our stay !

  • A beautiful and charming place to relax and enjoy the lovely Welsh countryside. The garden and the vineyard are both very beautiful and the little town of Cowbridge is just a short walk away. Very clean and fully equipped I would definitely recommend Glyndwr.

This is an ideal and unspoilt location with exceptional sea views. Ideal for couples and families who enjoy country walks along the beautiful costal paths that South Wales has to offer. There is a private gated courtyard where you can enjoy the views of the sunset and the gorgeous views. The barn has everything you need for a weekend (or week) away. There is a lovely (very private) beach 10 minutes away by foot. We are happy to cater for smaller pets (please contact before booking)
Can sleep up to 3 adults/2 adults & 2 children comfortably We are happy for 4 adults, however the second bed is a pull out sofa bed that can sleep 2 (its just slightly smaller than a double)
The views of the sea are unspoilt and you can see straight across to the South West of England. At the end of the driveway, the Costal Path begins. The Beach is a 10 min walk away which then continues onto the costal path. Llantwit Major Town Centre is a 5 min drive away (approx 2 miles), where there are some lovely restaurants, pubs, shops to enjoy. There is a pub and convenience store are 1 mile away should you need any extra bits. Other locations near by: St Athan (5 min drive) Cardiff Airport (10 min drive) Cowbridge (10 min drive) - a lovely market town with great restaurants and bars. Cardiff City Centre (30 min drive) The cottage is located on a small estate of barns with a small holding. You'll have your own Courtyard which is private and gated where you can enjoy the views and gorgeous sunset. There are some lovely restaurants in Llantwit Major - The Swan, Iltyds and The West House I’d recommend. There is an Indian restaurant that does takeaways. There’s also a Chinese takeaway and chip shop (my favourite is Farnhams, which is 2 minutes down the road). There’s also a pub 2 minutes away called The Boverton Castle. In Cowbridge (which is 10 minutes away) Oscars is a lovely place for lunch or dinner (but of a smart casual vibe), Bar 44 does some lovely tapas and cocktails, and The Bear and Penny Farthing are both lovely gastro pubs.
  • Another fantastic stay in this beautiful place. Beach walks at Llantwich, Dunraven and Ogmore, followed by a cosy evening with views across the Bristol channel.

  • This property exceeded our expectations, being cosy and well laid out and having wonderful views over the Bristol Channel. The beach is worth the look and we enjoyed walking through the quiet woods and on the coastal path. Sam was a great host, responding to queries very quickly. From here we visited Cardiff, Swansea and The Gower. For anyone visiting in September think about booking tickets for the Cowbridge Music Festival!

The Granary is a ground floor flat in a rural setting. 5 minutes drive from the stunning market town of Cowbridge as well as the Heritage Coast. Close to Cardiff and the M4, convenient for visiting rugby fans, golfers and shoppers. We have several acres of secluded and enclosed grounds and a large pond with a population of ducks (we also have peacocks, guinea fown and cockerels wandering around). There is an outside seating/dining area and plenty of parking. Welcome pack with tea, coffee, etc.
  • The hospitality received was second to none. Geoff was an excellent host and his place was really nice. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and I would recommend this stay to anybody who is travelling to the area.

  • Great location, in the middle of no where just what we needed, quiet, peaceful, just nature. Our young toddler loves looking at peacocks and horses in front of our door. It’s a great fun to pick up peacock feathers in the morning. With a car you can reach the beach or restaurants easily within 20 to 30 minutes, supermarket 10 minutes drive, Cowbridge 10 minutes drive. The place has all the facilities you need, especially the bed so comfortable and big for two people. Geoff and Veronica is very nice , offered us the high chair after they saw we got a toddler. Definitely recommend to couple with kids.

  • Heather is a wonderful person and provides great hospitality. The place itself is wonderful and has an extremely comfy bed.

    Peter2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Heather's place is perfect for a countryside getaway but close enough to Cardiff City. I was however, staying there on a semi-official assignment at Cardiff Airport which is only about 3 miles away. Therefore, it suited my requirements as well. Heather and family (including the cats and the dogs) were really friendly and she went out of her way to drop m to the airport on my way back. There is a CO-OP Supermarket a few hundred metres away which is good enough for essentials. Although, I am sure the having a car would be the best option to get the best out of the place and its surroundings , I managed pretty well with public transport as there is a bus stop close by, with service to Cardiff Airport and Rhoose Rail Station.

    Jaideep2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks to Heathers additional details for directions, her place was easy enough to find. We were pleasantly surprised at how cute and spacious the space was and only wished we’d been able to stay additional night. We were amazed to find additional extras in the cupboards and fridge to see us through, but a few minutes drive away there was a co-op, and a garage with a shop to get extra supplies we wanted. Heathers place is a lovely spot to stay with not too far to go to get to Cardiff, where my partner and I got to enjoy NYE with the Welsh ☺️

  • We stayed here over Christmas whilst visiting family in the next village. We can thoroughly recommend it to anyone needing clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation on the south Welsh coast. Heather is quick to communicate and the self check in makes life easy. • It's a quiet, country feel with the distant sound of roosters in the morning. Easy and comfortable for recharging and rejuvenating. Plenty of books to choose for reading, a fire that warmed our hearts and feet, and a mini-kitchen that gave us all we needed to prepare our meals.

    Denise2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little cottage a bit outside from Llantwit Major, but only a short drive to shops, restaurants and the beach. This was our second stay there and we like it.

    Simone2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely well kept cottage in a pretty area, not far from the beaches in the Vale. John and Sian are friendly, helpful hosts. We had a great short stay

    Sara2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn't recommend this place enough! It was lovely, much bigger than anticipated, with welcoming hosts and in lovely surroundings. Definitely booking another trip!

    Claire2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had an idea of what to expect, as my brother and his family had stayed here previously. My own experience was better than expected. Namely the great communication and welcome we received. I feel like if the landlords are on the premises at any accommodation, a welcome puts you at ease. We are certainly felt welcome here! The area is quiet and full of character. We only stayed a few days but wished we’d spent longer. The accommodation has everything you’d need. And local amenities are decent too. All in all great value and we will definitely be back! Thanks! Jordan, Charlene and Cillian

  • Wonderful little place. Stylish but beautifully rustic and utterly perfect for poochie as well. Our greyhound is a very anxious chap and it was so surprising for us that he happily settled in front of the log burner in the peace and quiet. Home away from home with lots of wonderful little touches and full of character. Thank you so much for having us!

  • Perfect little getaway cottage.

A beautiful, detached, converted barn with access to local beaches and countryside. The barn offers a wood burner, TV, WiFi, cooking facilities and living area, bathroom with a shower and a cosy private bedroom. This is the perfect place for anyone wishing to get away for a holiday break or business trip. The woodland garden opens for the NGS, ducks and hens roam freely and guests are welcome to enjoy this space. The location has parking facilities and is 10 minutes away from Cardiff airport.
  • This is a beautiful barn conversion tastefully renovated. Log burner is brilliant and kept me toasty on the cold February evenings. Kitchen facilities perfectly adequate for cooking from scratch if required. Bed comfy as is the sofa in sitting area. Lots of local books and maps of walks etc. Llantwit beach and cliffs are gorgeous. I thoroughly recommend Froglands for a peaceful stay away from the stresses of life.

  • Amazing place, fantastic little touches and extremely cosy for a short stay. Dorne is a lovely, friendly, helpful but non-intrusive host. It’s our second time in Llantwit and we will be back!

Our home is close to Carfiff Airport, beaches, Barry Island, restaurants and pubs nearby. Walking distance to public transport, 30 min to Cardiff and the Stadium. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families.
A beautiful, spacious home with a large garden and off road parking if you want to leave your car with us while you are away. Leaving your car with us is £25/ week and includes transfers to and from the airport.
There is so much to do and see near us that its hard to pack it all in. Starting close by, We love the beaches and views of the sea and fields. We live in a very quiet peaceful area and you can take lovely relaxing walks to nearby pubs and restaurants including The Blue Anchor, the Highwayman, the Fontygary Inn and the Raj Kinara. We live about a 5 minute drive from Cardiff Airport and are happy to have your car on our drive for an additional charge, drop off and pick up from the airport is included. We are not far from the historic town of Llantwit Major or the fun of Barry Island which you can also reach by train from Rhoose. Cardiff is a 20-30 minute drive or train journey from us, so we are perfect for the Principality (formerly the Millenium) Stadium for Rugby Internationals, Football games ( also Cardiff City Stadium) and concerts ( also at the Motorpoint Arena and the Wales Millenium Centre). Cardiff is an amazing city for visitors as everything is packed into quite a small area. With great places to visit such as the castle, national museums and fantastic shopping and eating out. It also has Mermaid Quay and the sports Village which houses Cardiff International pool, white water sports arena and a brand new ice rink, home to the Cardiff Devils. A 30 minute drive can also see you in the fantastic market town of Cowbridge (not far from Bridgend), the Welsh Valleys and Pontypridd. A little further and you are in Swansea, Newport or the Brecon Beacon National Park. There is so much to do and see here and we would love to share all our experience with you, please feel free to ask!
  • Really convenient for airport with great value car parking and shuttles available.

    Adam2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Miff’s place is as described but her welcoming family goes beyond description. She gave me her phone number in the event I got lost or stuck somewhere and needed help or a ride. I felt like I had gone to stay with a longtime friend or family!

    Colby2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • I can't fault a thing. A truly lovely family and well looked-after home. Miff and Dean made sure I had everything I needed and I won't hesitate to go back.

A large, luxury double bedroom with private bathroom in a Georgian seaside period home. There will be access to the breakfast room where you will be able to help yourself to a selection of teas, fresh, ground coffee, a selection of cereals, jams, marmalade. There will be fresh bread to make toast and we will happily provide croissants, cheese, meats or other requests if asked for in advance! On weekends a full cooked breakfast is available!
The most important early Christian settlement in Wales was at Llantwit Major, where St Illtud founded a church and religious school in around 500 AD. The imposing church of St Illtud now stands on this site and contains a collection of Celtic crosses and carved stones, many of which are older than the church itself. The compact old town centre of Llantwit Major is a maze of little lanes, narrow streets, old inns and historic buildings. It's easy to explore on foot and you'll be amazed by the town's past. Learn more about Llantwit Major's history. As you walk around the town you can visit 13 historic sites that have been marked with Blue Plaques.
  • At Simon, you can expect a friendly welcome, a beautifully decorated room, quick responses and a wonderful breakfast.

    Anna2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the location which was close to the coast and nearby restaurants. Simons home is a labour of love. The bedroom is large and much better than you would find in a good hotel. Simon is a great host.

    Elizabeth2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly environment and very pretty bedroom! Simon was really nice and made delicious breakfast for my parents. They enjoyed their stay a lot.

    Wayne2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, stylish house. Spacious room. Well looked after at breakfast in the morning. We were attending a wedding close to the house, so we weren't there much, but would love to see more of the area.

    Hilary2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Simon was very welcoming. Lovely room in a lovely home. Very well looked after. Flexible with checking in. Highly recommend. A+++

    James2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a convenient place to stay while attending events at UWC Atlantic College. It’s also very close to the center of Llantwit Major. Pubs, shops, sights of interest (including the church and beach) are within walking distance. The room itself is lovely, bright and airy. The hosts are very attentive and friendly. Despite being in a larger house it feels quite private.
