Marlene and Tony were both amazing hosts. The cosy cabin was brilliant and by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The cabin is in a great location, clean and tidy with everything you need. Marlene and Tony were there if we needed them and thought of everything for our stay. Even a bottle of bubbly for NYE. It's on our list to stay again in the near future.

The wooden cabin is a magical and private place to spend Christmas/New Years, the whole place was lit so beautifully when we arrived and saw the landscaper lake and grounds. Spotlessly clean, the kitchen is really well equipped and we were able to cook complete meals. The wood burning stove is a great touch and really made it cosy. Marlene went out of her way to accommodate us when we had to change dates and brought along an unexpected guest (our new pup) - very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Upon arrival we were swiftly greeted with a warm welcome and given a tour of this cosy little cabin! The interior is very well decorated with lots of quirky knick nacks, for a small space it's very comfortable and will easily sleep 4 people comfortably. Everything is already on hand for your stay, with cups plates cutlery, everything you could think of, and as an added bonus we had some delicious home made bread ready for us on the table! We will 100% be coming back again soon!

Lovely Shepherds hut, cosy, warm and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location, we really enjoyed Llansteffan beach and castle which is nearby. Friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. Many thanks for the delicious bread and lighting the log burner before we arrived. Hope to visit again :)

We came slightly later than we had originally said and were still met warmly, Andrew had already put on the stove so we arrived into a wonderful warm space. We were soaking wet coming from a walk in storm Dennis so we were especially grateful for this! We were presented with some utterly delicious home cooked bread and shown the amenities and left to it. The cabin is gorgeous, comfortable and was warm enough to dry us and beat our chills in no time. Lovely hosts and a gorgeous space.

The hut is immaculately clean and cosy. Every detail is perfect. It's a lovely quirky space, perfect for couples! We would have happily stayed longer, one night just wasn't enough. We were greeted warmly on arrival and even given the most delicious homemade bread which we enjoyed later with butter and jam. The cabin smells wonderful! It's been lovingly decorated and looked after. There is a pub across the road, no more than 2 minutes walking, and plenty of public footpaths nearby. I would highly recommend!

Cannot express how amazing this place is! Me and my partner have just spent the weekend here and loved every minute! The cabin itself is stunning , full of charm with lots of little thoughtful touches. Homemade bread on arrival was so tasty! The bed is extremely comfortable and we both had the best nights sleep! Everything you could possibly need and more. We will definitely be returning to this little gem!

We loved our stay in this cute and cosy hut after a long days cycle. The log burner kept us warm all night in frosty January, and the homemade bread was delicious! We look forward to staying again in the summer, to enjoy sitting outside the hut on the decking.

We enjoyed our time so much that we had to stay one more night. It felt super homely and accomodating and the location was just an added bonus!

Lovely spacious studio, perfect location to enjoy the beach and village.

Alice's place is in a great location, right on the beach front and within walking distance to Llansteffan Castle. The studio was clean and well presented and was great for a night's getaway close to the sea. Aliya wasn't there for check-in but explained everything clearly and was very responsive to our messages. Would recommend for a nice, quiet holiday!

The place is very nice very roomy, great location and fab host. All mod cons. Its situated in a friendly village nice pubs. Great instructions from the host to find ideal for a summer break do close to the beauty of west Wales and the gower and Pembrey country park. Not far from carmarthen

Aliya’s place was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect - right on the beach and right next to amazing ruins of a castle. There are some wonderful coastal paths nearby to walk along as well. I highly recommend staying here. The apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It has everything needed for an ideal getaway. We hope to be back in the future!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, there were six of us and our Westie and there was loads of space and it was really cosy and comfortable, a real home from home! Llansteffan is such a nice village, locals are really friendly and there are two good pubs and a shop a short walk away. The beach is 5 minutes walk away and really beautiful even in February, great for dog walking and kite flying. also its a nice walk up to the castle with spectacular views. Lovely quirky house with lots of thoughtful touches. Good selection of books, games & DVDs for typical Welsh weather, or if sunny: buckets, spades & crabbing nets for the beach just a minute down the lane. We'll be visiting again.

Communication from Andrew and Carolyn was excellent and Andrew met me there with his fantastic home made bread and eggs , milk and honey . Cottage was warm and spotlessly clean and kitchen is spacious with breakfast area . Lovely welcome in local Castle Inn pub and beautiful area to explore . Can’t wait to get back here

We had a wonderful experience at Greenfield Cottage. Great location, cosy, comfortable and sparkling clean, with lovely extras such as home made bread, local honey, eggs and Welsh cakes. We let Carolyn know we were delayed in traffic and She patiently waited to welcome us. Amazing location, five minutes walk to the beach and a short walk to Llansteffan Castle. The weather was cold and rainy for part of the trip but the heating, plentiful hot water and well stocked bookshelf was perfect for relaxing indoors. We ate at a couple of superb local restaurants, The New Curiosity and Florentino’s, both in Carmarthen. Would highly recommend Greenfield Cottage for comfort, location and delightful hosts.

A delightful stay and highly recommended

A beautiful, welcoming little cottage that has been very tastefully renovated. Super comfortable bed with thoughtfully provided extra bed cover should the weather turn cold or a sheet to use instead of the duvet should it be too warm. We knew our host, David, was starting us off with tea, coffee and milk but we’re thrilled to find Welsh cakes and wine too - swiftly followed by flowers! We felt at home immediately. The location is perfect - a short walk to the amazing beach, village shop and two pubs. We can definitely recommend this cottage. David is also a great host and we would stay there again, should the opportunity present itself.

Such a beautiful cottage in a really nice place. Miles long beach - perfect to relax and also to make excursions in the area. The hostess welcomed us with flowers and many tips. Also coffee ... milk ... wine ... was already there

Wonderful location and very pleasant place

Sarah's house is amazing. There were so many nice things, its hard to list. The blu-ray collection, the Wii games, stylish modern decor, HUGE tv - but my favourite thing was the kitchen. It was simply the best equiped kitchen of any place at which we've stayed. The area is lovely too. I cant recommend it enough, if you are looking for a quiet week away.... :)

I stayed at Sarah's place with my parents, husband and our two children. We all loved it and there was plenty of space for people to do their own thing, when the weather wasn't good enough to go out. The local coastline is stunning and we visited nearby places including the country park at Pembrey and beach at Rhossili Bay. It was great to see the children enjoying simple pleasures like building sandcastles and we all enjoyed collecting shells! Sarah was very quick to reply to any questions I had and recommended somewhere for us to eat on our first night. Thank you for a great stay!

Had a fantastic time at Sarah’s place. Traveling with my daughter (3) and wife’s family, the location made it perfect for a long weekend away no matter the weather. Beach, castle, pubs, and the toys at the house made the stay a blast.

The house is in a beautiful position , facing across the estuary, with a lovely balcony. The house is on three levels (as described) , and is beautifully presented. We loved the small room off the main living room (with a glass door, so you still felt included, and set up as a small person's play area) , which meant we could read in peace while the others watched a film, and the under floor heating in the bathroom ( a touch of luxury) . Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, with even a pair of binoculars to watch the birds. It has a great large kitchen and sizable utility room. For parking the public car park in front on the house (for the extra 2 cars) was empty most of the day , and free to park. Walking on the large beach at any time of the day was so enjoyable, I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday.

Both my parents and my husband and I had a really relaxing and comfy stay at Innisfree House. Beautiful setting right on the beach, with plenty of space inside and out. Furnished to a high standard and with everything you might need, including good internet connection. It is a very clean and well managed property. The welcome pack was a lovely and thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The Village is beautiful, excellent food in The Inn at the Sticks pub (10 mins walk from the house) and the owners of the village shop/restaurant/coffee shop/bar were really friendly and helpful and served a good pint! We highly recommend this property.

Really good - very happy to recommend. A home from home.

Reluctant to write a good review because we don't want everyone else to find this absolute gem of a house! Sarah's place is really high spec- beautifully finished with everything you could need or want. On really rainy hours our young kids found plenty to amuse themselves in the well equipped games room. The beds and sofas are super comfortable and the bathrooms are all lovely and spotless. The pool was pretty bracing but once you were in, warm enough to swim for an hour, even when the outside temperature had dropped. It was plenty big enough and even though shared we almost always had it to ourselves. The local area is fantastic and there is all the info in the house that you need to take advantage of it. The Inn at Sticks in Llansteffan village is a short walk up the hill and does delicious food. Llansteffan castle is so beautiful and the beach is glorious with soft sand and lots of pretty shells.

Lovely home right on the beach. Nice for families and the pool is lovely to have use of. It was almost just for us when we visited in June!

Lovely clean room with en-suite, dining room and lounge. Cosy Log fire and TV to keep you warm and entertained. Tasty breakfast in the morning. The host Bridget, was very hospitable. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely faultless. Beautiful, clean and comfortable - having a gorgeous little en-suite is a huge bonus. Bridget is a really lovely, welcoming host who really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Lovely natural yoghurt & blueberries for breakfast included. Fantastic value. Great, clear directions and quiet location - I would not hesitate to recommend!

Stay for two nights whilst away with work. Very comfortable, clean, warm and friendly. Lots of great little extras I wasn't expecting. Bridget was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Very warm welcome from Bridget. I booked only a few hours before arrival but communication was great and the room was spotless. Having the use of a private sitting room was great - log burner and TV - and Bridget was very happy for me to have my bottle of wine in there. About 10 mins from Camarthen and few minutes drive to beautiful beach at Llanestan.

I stayed at Jon and Moira's for one night with my partner and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area. Before arrival we were sent detailed directions which came in very handy. Jon met us on arrival and was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable straight away (we were also greeted by their lovely pets who were very sweet). Their house is beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay, including a book of useful information for our stay which was very well thought out. We had good access to parking at the property and were in a good location not too far from the town centre. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Jon, Moira and of course the beautiful Riley were extremely friendly and helped us to settle in well. It was extremely well located for Many Tears, the animal rescue we drove over 7 hours to visit. It was nice to get somewhere that was like a home from home. The area was very peaceful leaving us with undisturbed sleep and the shower in the morning was great, which for us is always important as were the amenities. I would highly recommend

Jon and Moira's place- i would definitely recommend everyone to stay. Moira was very welcoming, good communication and very helpful, the house is sparkling clean, you cannot fault anything. Easy to connect to the major motorway and the bed very comfortable with some complementary facility for hot drinks in the room. I enjoyed my stay.

Moira and Jon were lovely hosts. The location was perfect for my personal needs. They gave friendly advice and the small touches were lovely. Lots of tips and tricks for the local town and it was very clean. Lots of supplies given and having a puppy in the house definitely was a bonus! Thanks again!

Great space, very clean and comfy. Though GPS doesn’t reflect their address properly, they sent us detailed instructions on how to reach which made it easy. We were able to use the kitchen to cook food with ease. Had a great time with their pets as well.

Celia was a fantastic host , she was there to greet us on arrival and had pre contacted us to know what time we would be there , she let us walk in her very large gardens and explained the views over the estuary were great at the top , she also explained about how to walk down to the beach and also checked ferry crossing times to . There were cereal yoghurts bread and milk and orange juice in the fridge which was a lovely touch . She advised of where to eat and places of interest to visit , beautiful location and we would definitely love to stay here again , great base to go off exploring the west from ,

Lovely breakfast touches, local jam and butter and a good choice of cereals plus fairtrade coffee. Plentiful outside area and the swing at the very topwas awe-some. You felt like you were flying! Thanks Celia, definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Celia's place. The location is superb. It has breathtaking views of the river estuary. Very close to the beach. Quite remote and offers a unique and restful stay. The facilities were just what is required. It was very clean and has all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. Celia provided very good and nutritious breakfast. We loved the locally baked bread it was very tasty. We used Celia's place to make short trips around the area such as the National Botanical Gardens, Dylan Thomas's shed in Laugharne, Tenby and so on. We wished our trip could have been longer as this is a beautiful area of Wales, perhaps we can visit again in the near future.

Valerie's place was clean and comfortable with the most beautiful views of the countryside. We had a lovely time!

Taf Cottage was perfect for us - 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. It's a real cozy home from home. Valerie had thought of everything that makes a stay away easy. She left us the essentials and some luxuries which meant we were in no rush to do a food shop. She was very flexible around check-in and -out time which was really great. There are so many places to explore on the doorstep, and back at the cottage it's so peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed for a couple of nights for a friends wedding, but loved it so much we are looking to come back for longer. Wonderful location, lovely views, great host. The cottage was very clean and the wine, coffee and welsh cakes etc were a lovely touch. I would recommend a holiday here to anyone.

We had a fabulous 10 days in Taf Cottage - we really appreciated the generous welcome pack and fresh flowers that greeted us after a long drive. Valerie and Paul are great hosts - really thoughtful and helpful. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped - and is beautifully situated with the most stunning views over the estuary; the sunsets are amazing!

Taff Cottage was a wonderful base for my family to explore all that Llansteffan and the surrounding area has to offer. Valerie has thought of everything you could possibly need and more. As the property was not occupied during the day before or after our arrival Valerie was kind enough to allow us to check in and out early/late which made our trip with a two year old that much more relaxing. I would happily recommend Taff cottage to anyone visiting the area, it was a lovely home from home.

The cottage is perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The views are fabulous, the space is clean, functional and definitely big enough for our family of 5. The communication with Valerie was easy and we felt very welcome. I would definitely go again or recommend it to anyone!

We had such a lovely stay at Taf Cottage. The local beach is amazing and there are so many beautiful places to visit around the local area. On arrival we were greeted by a very thoughtful welcome pack which was very much appreciated, ( especially the chocolate Easter bunnies for our girlies and the tasty treats for our energetic spaniels!) We enjoyed every bit of our stay and have already recommended this gorgeous cottage. Valerie and Paul are such great hosts, we look forward to visiting again soon.

This is a lovely place to stay and relax - calm peaceful comfortable with beautiful views over the estuary and a private patio to sit out on. The weather wasn’t very kind to us over the 3 days we were there but the serenity of the location was more than compensation. Although remote the host gave us excellent directions and lives in the adjoining cottage so is on hand to help out if needed which was nice given the remoteness of the location. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Super location in a wonderful part of rural Wales yet within easy reach of Llanstefan. An ideal location for exploring many interesting local places. The accommodation is spacious and well appointed. Beautiful quirky cottage. Small but all the essentials are there. Lovely hosts, location and fire. Would recommend to any couple looking for peace tranquility and relaxation.

Just wow, lovely hosts in a friendly village, great location base for days out. Great value little cottage.

Keri was there to greet us and showed us around the cottage - she was very welcoming and gave us lots of info about the local area and recommended some days out. The cottage is very cosy, just what we wanted and better than we had expected. They had put out some wine and fresh flowers which was a lovely touch. The cottage has everything you need in the compact space - they have thought of everything! We chilled out by the fire and watch a film, had breakfast in bed and the cottage also has a nice patio area with a BBQ which we used one evening. We used the log burner and Keri was quick to offer help with this. We did lots of exploring but also spent time relaxing and chilling out in the cottage. We went to the Incline Inn for dinner one evening (10 mins down the road walking) and they were very friendly and the food was delicious. We also had a carvery on the Wednesday at the rugby club which again was delicious (about 5 min drive). We visited Kidwelly castle - can explore the castle and has lovely views. Burry Port which has a beautiful sandy beach. The botanic gardens which had an incredible bird show and The mumbles in Swansea which is a pretty costal town. Overall we have a lovely stay at the cottage and would love to return. Thank you so much for having us.

The Barn was absolutely beautiful and Robert was a fantastic host. He made sure that we had everything we needed and and kept us well informed before our arrival. The Barn was very spacious but homely feeling and was absolutely spotless. The welcome pack on arrival was a really nice treat after a long journey as well, full of lots of local welsh goodies! The weekend was booked as a surprise for my Dads 50th and the whole experience of staying at the Barn really made his birthday. The location of the Barn is perfect as you really feel as though you are escaping all of the hustle of bustle of normal life. I will definitely be looking to stay here again and already can’t wait to go back!

What a fantastic holiday cottage for our first mini family holiday away. The place was spacious, clean, warm and very peaceful. It was the ideal setting to relax and unwind. We were extremely lucky with the weather and managed a few dry and sunny days out to Tenby and Laugharne itself. I highly recommend this cottage whether you're a couple looking to get away for a couple of nights or a big family holiday getaway . There's plenty of room! Robert is a great host and he couldn't have done more for us. Super quick with replying as well. Cheers

Homely & comfortable stay with great beds that encourage napping!Super comforting stay with home made breads, fingers crossed, you get to try Nicki's home made marmalade with lemon as it's delicious. Very laid- back environment, Nicki made us feel like part of the family and we left feeling super relaxed afterwards.

Nicki was one of the most welcoming people I have ever come across. Her home was set in a beautiful location and no expense was spared when helping us with local attractions to do and see, from food and restaurant suggestions in and around ferryside, information on the local Ferry crossings and suggestions on sites and places of interest further afield. The property itself was welcoming, homely, very comfy beds, hot shower, delicious breakfast, including freshly baked sourdough bread and a stunning view over the welsh seaside. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be back. Thanks Nicki for everything.

Had a great weekend at Jac’s place. Two families together ranging from age 7- 74. The house is lovely and spacious so plenty of room to cater for everyone. We had some rain, it didn’t matter though, whilst some were playing pool in the games room, others were playing board games in the dining room, which left the cinema room for playing on the Nintendo switch or watching tv. We made the most of the dry weather and had a couple walks into Laugharne. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The garden is huge and would be wonderful during summer I’m sure.

What an incredible place The Cors is! Beautiful setting and amazing character throughout. A very well-equipped kitchen and games room kept us busy through the Welsh rain. Being pet-friendly it was ideal for our collie, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the comfort the house provides. The WiFi was a little weak in the cinema room but really not a concern when you have Sonos throughout the ground floor. Excellent communication made for a seamless check-in/out experience. Overall a perfect long weekend!

We had such a lovely stay at the Cors, the location was beautiful and very secluded. The house inside was stunning and absolutely spotless, and the kids found it all very exciting. Jac was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions I had, and we will definitely return in the future. We booked this place last minute and we wasn’t disappointed, upon arrival down the driveway we was amazed. The house impressed us in many ways, quirky, stylish, comfortable, homely, different but most of all very enjoyable. The host kept in contact with us throughout our stay, great rooms for entertaining, including the bar area. We enjoyed our short break immensely. Thank you very much

Beautiful characterful house, with a gorgeous garden. The situation is very peaceful but shops and restaurants/pubs are in easy walking distance. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Plenty of room for a family party and a small dog (who spent a lot of time on the very welcome dog bed - much bigger than his at home!). We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

If you are looking for a lovely, neat, quiet place for a holiday in Wales, head to Marlene’s. It is amazingly clean, very thoughtfully done, has spectacular views, and above all, has the most friendly and helpful hosts.

This is a gem!!!! Wow. We were blown away by the thoughtful touches in this stylish space. There was nothing we wished it had ... shower over the bath, a super comfy bed, tv with the best selection of dvds i have ever seen. Having breakfast looking out over the river and the welsh countryside was just sublime. The kitchen is really well kitted, we cooked, used the oven, made all our own food and we were supplied with milk, biscuits, coffee, a few other very useful groceries in the kitchen. The bathroom had so many little comforts in case you left yours at home, even a headache pill! This is honestly one of the BEST bnb's I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in a lot all over the world !

Lovely apartment. Quiet location Marlene thinks of your needs.

This is a gorgeous apartment, right on the beach. We stayed as a family of four and it was comfortable, well laid out, clean and tidy. Even though it was the middle of winter it got cosy pretty quickly and had everything we needed for some long nights in. The location is spectacular and it was a real treat to be the only people on the beach as the sun rose. We would heartily recommend Innisfree and would definitely come and stay int he summer too!

No problems with our stay and we loved how cosy our apartment was especially when the weather wasn’t on our side. Although, it was a shame the pool was closed for winter. The cottage Was great for our family of four. The setting is really beautiful and can not be faulted. The swimming pool was warm and clean and we went in a couple of times each day. The house is comfortable and having the lounge upstairs is lovely so you can all appreciate the views of the sea and across the estuary. Great base to explore the area. Jill is very responsive to messages and welcoming.

A hidden treasure. We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. It was in a perfect location, no need to drive anywhere everything is on your doorstep ❤️ the house was clean and comfy. We visited the castle which has outstanding views. The cakes in the cafe are lush and so are the chips from the chip shop HUT. The pool is also really nice and warm. We all loved this place and cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended

Fabulous location, the children very much enjoyed the pool and we loved slowing everything down and enjoying everything at our leisure. The fish & chip, ice cream and gift/tea shop were an added bonus too.

Superb stay and superb location !!

Really comfortable 3 bedroom house in an absolutely fabulous location. It is literally a 5 minute walk to an amazing beach which is dog friendly for some of the year (check dates on this). Llansteffan also has a couple of good pubs and a local shop, all of which arel within easy walking distance of the house. Some great walks and an interesting local castle just off the beach too, which is great for kids to run around in. There is also a tea room just off the beach and a fish and chip bar in one of the beach car parks, but this wasn't open during our visit. You can park outside the property easily too. Cannot recommend this house highly enough and Helen is a first class host too. Will definitely use again.

Such a wonderful house in a great location - we had a lovely stay with many days on the beach and exploring the local trails.

A lovely house, nicely decorated and absolutely sparkling clean. Good sized rooms and very practical. Helen had kindly provided plentiful supplies of loo roll, hand soap, cleaning materials, dishwasher and washing machine tabs, tea and coffee and more. We appreciated having a real garden with lawn and plants not concrete and enjoyed watching the birds that live in the large bush. Gorgeous beach and sand dunes just down the road with a fab view of the castle on the way. There are picnic benches and an area of beach where you can walk dogs even in the summer. For sea shell collectors you can fill your pockets with cute little cockle shells of all colours. Highly recommended but don't you lot go booking it up because we want to go back!

A lovely little gem, located a minutes walk to the beech. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed and you could need. We had a 13 week old and it was lovely to find the place just like the pictures.

Lanstaffen is a great and very friendly village. The house was well positioned for a short walk on to the beach or the centre of the village. The beaches were spectacular, both my boys and dog loved them. Lanstaffen has a few good pubs and excellent restaurant that does sour dough pizzas. The house itself was finished to a high quality, good facilities and very clean. The host very friendly and helpful. We plan to return to this house and location again in the future. I would very much recommend this place for a short or long break. T

Really clean, light and airy cottage with a wood burner for those chilly evenings. The village is a friendly and has a small shop. Very close to the beach where there are great long walks...especially good for dogs. Lots of little extra touches which made staying there very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely space in a lovely location. The space is a good size with everything you could need in it. The location is great as its easily within an hour of most of the south west coast and close to amenities in St Clears, while the ruralness is good for those like us with dogs to walk. Fab hosts with great communication, I would highly recommend them.

Really love place in an amazing location. Great transport link with the A40 but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere!

This is a super place to stay. Amazing location - views of the sea at the front and the trains at the back! We loved catching the train to Kidwelly, walking on the beach and having fish and chips from Ferryside. The house had everything we needed (and more - e.g. dishwasher tablets), and really comfy beds. This is a very stylish and well thought through accommodation. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. A gorgeous view.

From the moment we crossed the Level crossing & realised our apartment no 2 was literally situated with the most breathtaking view ever, we grinned like Cheshire cats! The space was larger than expected with a large kitchen downstairs & dining area with lots of seating. Two bedrooms & upstairs main bedroom with en suite shower & main bathroom bath. It’s very contemporary & the owner has taken great pride in his design. The stairs are for the able bodied & we probably wouldn’t bring very young children or elderly infirm relatives here. It is well equipped with dishwasher/washing machine/fridge freezer in kitchen. If you like good coffee you will need to bring your own Nespresso machine & capsules. Most good AirB&B’s have these already & I’m sure it won’t be long before the owner gets one too. The owner very generously left plenty dish washing capsules & plenty soap & shower gel, unusually there were loads of loo rolls! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ferryside & really didn’t want to leave. Looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent place, we definitely recommend ! We spent 3 days in Gary's cottage with our 3 kids and we really enjoyed it. The whole cottage is really nice and comfortable, but the upper lounge is just stunning ! Amazing view on the sea from the 3 large windows. Reasonable distance from lots of touristic places or just 10m from the beach.

The house is fantastic! Amazing views from the top living room area with everything you could need. Plenty of space and equipment and all clean and tidy. The bedrooms are excellent with smart bathrooms and a well equiped kitchen. You are literally 5 meters from the sea and there's plenty of parking.

Perfect little get away, beautiful scenery, peaceful. Meinir was an amazing host! Lovely personal touches in the house when we arrived such as wine and a box of chocolates and milk in the fridge for hot drinks! Which was a touch because I normally forget them things!. All round lovely trip with a lovely clean house couldn’t fault it. And I already can’t wait to revisit! P.s if you enjoy four legged friends Monty is a real character and it’s really lovely to see him waiting at the door to be greeted by you xx

This place is fantastic, it’s modern, stylish, clean and the grounds are beautiful. The jacuzzi is great and the hosts are wonderful. It was a fantastically peaceful and relaxing stay, and there is loads to do within half hours drive. We’ll be back!

This place is fantastic. To start the house is immaculate, got everything you could possibly need and more. Meinir as a host was fantastic, all the information provided, things left in the house to make your stay - like the wine and the milk (I always forgot the milk lol) go a long way. Secondly a beautiful country setting with nothing to disturb you, was a much needed break from all the hussle and bussle for me and my better half. Thank you for a fantastic start to the year! Will be back again I’m sure as I want to go Brecon Beacons!

This is a perfect hideaway stay - very beautiful place -- spacious, everything you need, calm, relaxed, comfortable, gorgeous views and easy walks to the local village (with Post Office/small shop/tearoom, local bread etc), a great restaurant (Inn in the Sticks) and a walk through a field to the beach and the best fish and chips. Even a castle to explore. V recommended.

Home away from home. Very comfortable place. Great views day and night. Lovely bedroom and bathtub. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lovely garden. Now CE welcome and quick response for any needs.

We have just returned from a wonderful break. A baby cot & high chair were provided on request for our 6 month old and we had everything we needed for our little family. It's such a beautiful & relaxing place & the views are stunning. We all loved exploring the walled gardens, especially our four year old. Wyn and Deidre were friendly, accommodating and hospitable hosts and were very knowledgeable about the local area. We will definitely visit again.

The cottage is so much more amazing in real life than in the photos, and the location is breath-taking, the building is stunning, and Wyn is a very gracious and supportive host. The cottage is immaculate, and a really sympathetic renewal of an astonishing, old building. The kitchen is immaculate, and the place has all you could want. The heart of the village is just a few minutes walk away, as is Llansteffan's stunning beach. We loved it here, and will definitely be seeking a time to return. Oh, and the food at the Sticks is amongst the best pub food we've ever eaten. We just can't recommend Wyn's place highly enough.

You can expect fantastic views and very spacious accommodation. Wyn is a lovely bloke and very accommodating, we had great time just chilling and relaxing. We would recommend this to all.

The place is located within an outstanding, perfectly located mansion, with some stunning views (castle & shore, but also a lot of nature), plus relaxing and peaceful village only 5 mins down the road. Definitely more than we expected out of our trip to Wales!

The views were amazing from the hut! So peaceful, we felt like we’d found a little gem and will definitely be visiting again. The hut has everything you need during the stay and its spotless.

We stayed at the Cwtch for one night and it was a fantastic stay! Great view, location, lots of local tips and walking routes! We went to a local pub which was recommended by the owners and had a lovely Sunday lunch. Nice touches with the welsh cakes and milk when we arrived! Hot tub took a while to get heated but once it was warm it was lovely! Would definitely recommend!

Despite nearly being blown away by Storm Dennis and the accompanying 60mph gusts of wind, we had a wonderful time at The Big Cwtch! The facilities are excellent, the bed was much bigger than we expected and so comfy and the full length window was lovely for watching the changing scenery. We didn’t manage to get the hot tub going due to the high winds and rain/hail so we will definitely stop by again when we travel nearby in the future.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The hut has everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay! The hot tub is brilliant, and the log burner is very straightforward to use. There are instructions for the log burners, as well as useful tips and local sightseeing. The views are stunning!! I cannot recommend enough!!

We loved staying at the Smithy and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and quiet environment.

Truly lovely. Spotlessly clean, tasteful decorated, very thoughtful touches - including a breakfast tray with some complimentary jams, drinks and nibbles. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater. We felt very welcome. The property was easy driving distance to the main road, but set back enough that it felt quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay, would definitely recommend.

The accommodation is perfect lovely sized living/ kitchen area for 2 people and our dog. Plenty of lovely walks and places to visit near by. The dog exercise area was fantastic added extra didn’t expect it to be so big Chloe loved running around in it each evening after racing. We were in the Wales for the weekend racing at the cani-x Canicross weekend at pembrey and it was so nice to have such a lovely place to stay and chill out each afternoon/ evening after racing. The cooking facilities were great and made it so easy to make meals etc each day. And the dishwasher and washing machine were great added bonuses 😊 The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were a lot bigger than they looked in the photographs.

Nice and tidy wooden lodge with lovely views in a very quiet site. And only 5 mins from the beach. Ideal base for day trips out.

if you're looking for a small but cosy place to spend a few days, that's the right chalet to choose. Its location is for the ones who are looking for some peace and relaxation. I took my two daughters with me and they loved it although I wouldn't recommend it for children: there's nothing on site apart from a forgotten tiny and muddy play. The most exciting thing for kids is either a walk in the woods or owl hunting - weather permitting! On the other hand, if they are easy just like mine, you can visit the ruins of a 13th century castle nearby with outstanding views - again depending on the weather. The chalet itself is great. I always get very worried in regards to heating but this one deserves 5 stars! In addition, it has absolutely everything you need including blankets, towels, cutlery, iron, tv, etc, etc. There's no need to take anything from home which can be a bonus if your car is not as spacious as you would like to be when it comes to holiday trips! The only disappointment was the wi-fi which was extremely temperamental and could not be used fully. I wanted to watch a few films with my children but never managed so I decided to use my mobile phone internet allowance instead. Apart from this, I would say it is a great value for money!
