Places to stay in Llanrhidian
A fabulous holiday cottage based in the quiet village of Cheriton, nestled in the North Gower peninsula. The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room and further sleeping space in the upstairs mezzanine, which is accessed by a space saver ladder. The barn also boasts a private garden with patio area and a private Hot Tub.
A lovely self contained holiday cottage which has been newly refurbished. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout. A handmade oak ladder staircase offers access to a mezzanine bedroom above. Exposed oak timber throughout. The holiday cottage has a private garden area and boasts a private hot tub for guests.
The cottage is located at the top of the village which means that there is plenty of peace and quiet, especially at night. The barn is located at the roadside which offers easy access. There is very little road noise though as the road is very quiet at all times. Parking is available next to the barn with gated access onto the road.

  • Beautiful accomodation in such a beautiful part of the world. I went to get away and clear some head space and the holiday here really helped, the hot tub is lovely with a roof for the rainy days. Really appreciate how easy everything was and the privacy the hosts gave me

  • Lovely little cottage. The underfloor heating made it really cozy so it was lovely to return to after cold and windy walks. Some beautiful dog friendly walks from the doorstep and stunning surrounding countryside. Thanks Matt and Lara for a lovely stay

**NEW BOILER FITTED OCT 2019** Our house has been lovingly hand made using reclaimed materials and a unique, inventive design. We have an open fire in the living area to keep you cosy and in the winter evenings Outside we have a large garden space with multiple seating areas and a BBQ for those long summer nights Our home is perfect for a cosy romantic getaway, a catch-up with old friends or for a family treehouse adventure, kidds love it! We allow dogs but charge £10 per dog that stays 😊
Home of the designer builder of the solar showers and recycling ‘Reclaimator’ at Glastonbury from late 1980’s and first ‘Green Gatherings’ Passive solar designed for natural winter heating/summer cooling and a TMSthermalstore Our Beautiful Eco-Home, nestled in the treetops of Three Cliffs Bay, will tantalize your senses and make you feel OH so at home. Hand made from logs and recycled materials - There is love in the walls. Designed to maximise internal space but minimise the external (for energy reasons) – Is truly like an eco ‘tardis’ The house is 4+ bedroom, however not in the conventional sense - Two bedrooms are on upper mezzanines (hence the 4 dbl beds) and the 5th bed is a single in a cozy annexe snug. Be aware that the house is open plan and privacy limited - so if you are all on holiday 'together' as a group - one big family, then Treetops is perfect! Just let the tree trunks and flickering flames from the open fire sparkle the earth pigment lime washed walls to create a timeless atmosphere! Space - I lived here happily with my partner and two kids for many years, and we have even had groups of 10+ people stay. Kitchen - recently refurbished, open-plan so you are all together, with fridge, toaster, kettle and a new oven & hob (2019) - enough equipment to cook up delicious dinners! Bathroom - shower with water heated from solar, wood or gas. Cosy & homely, and perfect to wash the sand off beachy feet. Bedrooms - Two downstairs bedrooms, both sunny and bright, with curved hand carved walls and beautiful wood. Two mezzanines, one alice-in-wonderland, up a spiral staircase, which kids absolutely love. The other over-looking the sitting area, for more responsible monkeys, and a grand view of all that is going on. Outdoor - There is a open patio with a large table, a barbeque, outdoor fire pit, and large outdoor sink..perfect for washing wetsuits! Also surfboard storage, padlock points for bikes (cable type locks needed) and covered places to drip dry wetsuits & clothes. The garden sweeps upwards over terraces, spaces for yoga, apple trees and paths of sea shells. Our home makes a beautiful romantic getaway for couples, wine in hand, logs crackling on the fire and with no disturbances. For families, Treetops is a weird and wonderful adventure house, children love the magic of the mezzanines, the tree trunks running through the house and the excitement of the open fire, more communal than televisions! The open plan space allows for a real sense of togetherness. It is also wonderful for groups of friends meeting to catch up and have a good time! However we must add that we are not the house to use for a wild party as we must respect our neighbours. Sound travels to their house quite easily so noise must be kept to a minimum during the night. I.e. no loud music... Sorry!!
Treetops is more or less as close as you can get by car to Three Cliffs Bay. You can walk to the famous Pennard castle with it's glorious sunset views over the river and beach, within 5 minutes. The beach is then a further ten minutes from there. Around the corner is another beautiful beach, Pobbles. By car you can quickly and easily access all of Gower's award winning beaches. Treetops is on Sandy Lane, famous for it's hippy vibes, open minded and down to earth people, its green spaces and quirky hand built homes. It is a special place, famous to many people, and a real getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life. An experience in itself! Nearby are farmers markets, the busy fishing village of Mumbles, with many shops, cafe's and restaurants, and the Gower Heritage Centre. Pubs are within walking distance (one only 5 minutes away, perfect!) Padlock points for bikes (cable type locks needed)

  • We were meant to travel to Berlin this weekend however, due to the uncertainty of not being able to fly home we booked this wonderful air bnb for 2 nights. I can’t express enough how wonderful Gilli & Michael’s home is. Absolutely beautiful. Sparkling clean. Gorgeous views. Lovely touch with the fresh bread, jams, butter, coffee and milk. We even had the opportunity to soak in the hot tub to star gaze and snuggled up with the log burner in the cosy living room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside was that we didn’t want to get out or leave. We will definitely be returning!! Thank you so much ❤️

  • What a beautiful Airbnb, very comfy and homely. The cold weather didnt put us off using the hot tub (which was already turned on when we arrived so no waiting around) and the log fire was the perfect way to warm back up afterwards... Gilly and Michael were the perfect hosts, very friendly and on hand when required both in person and quick to respond to messages. We were welcomed with some essentials provided (Bread, Milk, Tea, Coffee, etc...) The King Arthur pub is only about 350 metres from the house, where we had some lovely food and sunk a few drinks, good atmosphere and very welcoming, highly recommend... We will definitely be looking to come back to enjoy your lovely home again. Jon and Bex.

    Joe2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous one night stay here. The cottage is well designed, the bathroom is huge with funky tiles, large shower and deep bath. Kitchen is well equipped and Gilli leaves a welcome pack of organic bread and beautiful home made marmalade. The hot tub is a huge bonus, we had a sunny soak in the afternoon then back again in the dark to study the stars. The King Arthur is a short walk, good food and lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Gower

Bright and airy coastal house a few minutes walk from the no. 1 beach in the UK! Totally relax with some sea views, spectacular walks in national trust land all around, wonderful secluded beaches accessed across farmland, and a very well equipped, spacious home. This is my own home so not pristine luxury furnishings, rather beach house attire that is robust.
Very bright and spacious with 4 double sized bedrooms (2 King, 2 twin), large open plan sitting room and kitchen diner with Aga style cooker, sea views and very tranquil location. The property is not a commercial let and price at less that £20 per head is designed to reflect that. Meant for fun family relaxation without having to worry about things. If you want 5 star luxury with new furniture then this will not be the place for you.
Outstanding natural beauty with beaches, cliff and hill walks and wild ponies. The whole area is national trust owned to maintain its secluded perfection.
  • We had a wonderful family weekend at Kate's house. It was lovely and warm with sea views and within walking distance of the sea. It was very well equipped and very comfortable. It had a lovely big double room upstairs with sofa's and TV with a view of the sea with onsuite shower and toilet. We would highly recommend staying here.

    Philip2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house is far more roomy than I expected. Beautifully clean, spacious, warm, beds very comfortable. Great sea views. Very practical flooring if you have a dog with you. Well positioned for walking the coast path and the local scenery is quite spectacular.

  • A beautiful house with perfect glimpses of sea views. Well decorated with cosy touches and a very well equipped kitchen. Cooking on the Aga was an experience in itself! A safe and secure garden for dogs and children. Walking distance to beautiful beaches and countryside walks., plus cafes and museums etc etc. Perfect!

  • We had the best, most relaxing time at Kate’s place. The accommodation felt homely, and had the most amazing sea views. It’s situated just a short walk to Rhossili Bay, where you will also find great places to grab a coffee or have a bite to eat. Kate’s place is well equipped, bright and spacious. There were even games to keep the children amused! Highly recommend

  • We are a family of 5 - 3 teenage children + niece, nephew + sons girlfriend joined us too - so 8 adults fitted fine in this house. We have a tradition of going away between Christmas and New Year over the last few years to go for walks and play loads of board games. This house was ideal for this Had a great time. House was a perfect for us size for us. Wife appreciated the well stocked kitchen, I appreciated the location. We all appreciated the warmth of the house. The mattresses were very good quality too (I have a weak back - so often struggle when going away). Overall - perfect fit for our family. Did 3 coastal walks from the house itself without driving and 1 walk with driving about 20 mins. Nice open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen too. Recommend to any family looking for a base in the Gower

    Neil2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely few days over Christmas. The place was really warm with all the home from home comforts and amenities to make a prefect roast dinner! We were fortunate with the weather as it was glorious on Christmas Day. We especially enjoyed our walk to the beach, which is not far at all. We hope to come back and stay in the summer. Xxxx

    Martin2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect, cosy stay in the hut - not even storm Dennis could stop us enjoying this lovely spot! It was warm, dry and the most relaxing place to read a book, drink wine and listen to the rain. When the clouds cleared we got a superb night sky to gaze up at. The dogs also made themselves at home and none of us wanted to leave. The only thing to bear in mind is the shower/kitchen is a bit of a walk from the hut but I probably wouldn't mind this in dryer weather! Luckily the toilets are just a few steps away. Would definitely recommend and would love to return and explore the area more in the warmer months.

  • Loved our stay with Neil! Such a quirky location with stunning views. Neil made our stay feel like we’re old friends! He even taxied me about in the wettest storm ever!! What a guy. Thanks again Neil!!!

  • We loved our stay here, it had everything we needed for one night, and everywhere was within a close driving distance. The King Arthur Hotel and The Beach House at Oxwich Bay were both amazing places to eat out at. And being within such close driving distances of the beaches was great. I'm sure we will be back to visit the Gower again soon and would not hesitate to stay and also recommend Neil's place!

    Lynsey2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely annexe in the heart of the Gower. We saw wild ponies on the marshes as we drove down. Neil and Sally are so hospitable and kind, we really felt like welcomed guests. We had a lovely walk on nearby Oxwich Bay and Neil had plenty of recommendations for eateries etc. He also offered to drive us to our car in the morning if we’d wanted to have a few drinks. The space is clean and comfortable and has everything you need, including a spacious fridge, crockery and a sink for washing up (separate from bathroom). We will be returning, hopefully for longer next time. Thanks for a memorable weekend guys! 😊

  • Great little spot from which to explore the Gower from. The wood burner does a really good job too. Communication and responsiveness was great. Parking is very easy. Scenic views as soon as you step outside. Definitely recommend for a short stay on the Gower Peninsula.

  • Great place to stay right on the estuary - very comfortable, everything you need, and very clean. Didn’t realise that there were no cooking facilities there, but made no difference really! The hosts were very friendly, we enjoyed a glass of wine in their lovely home, and they were more than happy to help us with taxi firms etc. Very comfortable bed, amazing log burner, plenty of hot water (much appreciated after a long day walking the incredible beaches of the Gower coast, and exploring the castle ruins). Highly recommend this little guest house. And definitely recommend a cwtch from Dot the dog! Thank you both!

  • Neil's place is great. Lovely and cosy, especially with the log burner. Immaculately clean. Communication was brilliant. Highly recommend.

A delightful stone cottage we call the Stable. The house was build in the 1700’s, just perched above the village green. Our holiday accommodation boasts spectacular estuary sea views. We are located just 100m from two dog friendly country pubs. Llanrhidian Marsh is part of the Welsh Coastal Path, ideal for walkers. Adjcent to our home is the local church. Our holiday accommodation is ideally positioned in Gower close to wedding venues and for holidaying by the seaside. NO EXTRA CLEANING CHARGES.
The Space. A small but unique country style two floor open plan self catering cottage, with a double ensuite bedroom. The lower floor has a living area with a kitchenette. Includes: (Portable oven, 2 stove cooking elements. A microwave, Tefal chip fryer. Plus a toaster, kettle and fridge.) We also provide complimentary tea, coffee and milk. Plus a cereal pack. Number of guests. The cottage is ideal for 2 guests but has a sofa bed option for a further 2 guests (£20 extra charge per guest over 2 persons. Extra bedding and towels will be provided.) N.B the ensuite shower & toilet is to be shared by all guests. There is a TV with DVD player. We have a selection of DVDs, plus a small library of books. There is an electric fireplace with steam effect flames. Parking. We try to keep a space free just outside our house. Although we do appreciate that 1 Space is kept free for our neighbour who drives a grey volvo. He parks near his house opposite. However it can be busy with weddings so if you are struggling to park then please let me know and I can arrange a space at the rear of our cottage to park. Dogs. Dogs are very welcome to stay free of charge. Max 2. Dogs are not to be left alone at the property. Guest privacy. We respect guests privacy and please make yourselves at home. Soon as you have your front door key you are free to come and go as you please. In the late summer evenings its lovely to sit outside on the garden furniture looking out at the estuary sea views. With a glass of your favourite tipple. All we ask in return is to consider the neighbours. If you require any further information and tips of local knowledge then please drop us a text on the airbnb app. Alternatively you can knock on our door. We are very friendly and we always enjoy meeting our guests.
Some people miss out on magical places because they head straight for the beaches and who can blame them. However Llanrhdian village has some amazing senary that attracts walkers from near and far. Weobley Castle is easy reachable from Llanrhdian, just a 30 to 40 minute walk along the Welsh Coastal Path. And finally not forgetting the Dolphin Inn beer garden, one of the best beers gardens on Gower.
  • This is the first time we stayed at this accommodation. We booked for one night with the intention to explore the local area. The accommodation was in an ideal location for exploring the local beaches and sights. It was around 10 minutes away from the Three Cliffs Bay and Whiteford Beach. The accommodation itself was easily big enough for two people and was exceptionally clean. The kitchen is small but well equipped. We went to The Welcome Inn (which was a stone throw away) for dinner. They served typical pub grub which was nice but a little pricey. Overall we had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Thank you!

  • Lovely Airbnb, would highly recommend. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really nicely decorated. Communication from the hosts was excellent as well.

  • Great place to stay.

    Ruth2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The stable was a perfect size for two in an ideal location and the fact you can take your dog was a massive factor in choosing this accommodation. The hosts provide thoughtful little touches like a highlighted map of things to see, cereals, proper coffee, milk and welsh cakes. It was super clean and everything clear and easy to use. Don't panic when you can't see a hob or oven as these are portable to use if you want to cook, however there are two great pubs within an easy walk which are dog friendly too so eating out is an easy option.

    Tansy2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • A sparkling clean and well designed little cottage with a nice garden space which would be nice in the summer! We did miss not having an oven, but would cater with that in mind next time!

    Hannah2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts! Had everything we needed and accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Easy instructions and good communications. Beautiful village. Look forward to visiting again. Would recommend this place

We have a shared family home with 2 bedrooms available (see our other listing for the double room)The single room is light and airy with stunning views. Our shared bathroom is downstairs. About a 20 minute drive to Llangennith Beach, so ideal for surfers. Lockable garage to store surf boards, bikes etc LGBTQ welcome.
We live down a small lane and private driveway with private parking.
Located in a peaceful area on the beautiful North Gower Peninsula, making this an ideal base for surfing, cycling, walking or rock climbing.
  • Claire and Sian were wonderful hosts, my experience of staying with them was completely positive. The bedroom window opens to wonderful views. Penclawdd is well situated for exploring both Swansea and the western Gower villages, and, provided that there is a bus (and there are some!), it promises great outdoorsy days.

  • Perfect place for an overnighter if you're visiting the Gower or Swansea. Don't trust your satnav to find it however as it'll take you up a steep narrow dead end 200 yds away! Very friendly hosts were most welcoming & hospitable.

This 18th Century Grade 2 Listed renovated Chapel provides a lovely and airy place for a couple to spend some quality time. The Chapel still contains the stain glass windows along with the pews now being utilised as the wooden floor. The open plan kitchen and living room focus on the vast log burner which blends seamlessly into the mezzanine floor containing a double bed and shower room over looking the vast living room space .
The vast floor space and high ceilings lend Y Chapel to spending time round the vast log burner in the winter months. In the summer months the close proximity to the beautiful beaches of the Gower, most reachable within 15 minutes, means you will want to keep returning to explore the area tome and time again.
A lovely rural setting nestled in the heart of the Gower providing quick access to the many beautiful beaches.

My place is very close to the beach (3 minute walk), Wales Coastal Path (1 minute walk) and Oxwich Bay Hotel (3 minute walk). You’ll love my place because of the privacy, ambience, outdoors space (backdrop of a wood), neighbourhood, and 50 Mbs FTTP Wifi. It is good for couples or a family, for the beach, or lots of walks, or functions at Oxwich Bay Hotel. Enjoy the 1st AONB in UK with the world's 2nd highest tidal rang on the doorstep, and a Gower Ambassador host.
You have a large lounge come dining area with a well equipped kitchen. The sofa changes into a double bed, in addition to the two singles or one Superkingsize-width bed in the bedroom.
A small village beside the beach
  • Good hospitality, great local knowledge, fab location (2 mins from the beach), really recommend 😀

  • Stayed at the house for a wedding at Oxwich Bay hotel and the local is absolutely perfect. The house itself has everything you could need, a lovely space for a weekend trip. Claire was very helpful and accommodating, couldn't fault a thing

    Jenna2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This one bedroom (plus sofa bed) cosy annex to Alan and Claire's home is a superb stay. Information beforehand was excellent, especially lots of messages about the status of the area in the middle of storm Dennis just as we were due to arrive. The location on Oxwich bay is perfect. We walked to the stunning Three Cliffs bay and back, with gorgeous light, a rainbow and big skies (small detour for lunch at the Gower Inn). We also took a bus to Rhossili (bus stop two mins from house) and hiked back all along the coastal path, about ten miles. With a stop in the pub in Port Eynon. In Oxwich itself here's a fancy beach house for Michelin starred food, or the Oxwich hotel for a bit lower key but we didn't make it to either. The apartment itself has underfloor heating throughout so it's super cosy. It was lovely to arrive to milk, juice, bread, tea, coffee and two hearty slices of Barabrith! Alan's enthusiasm for the area is infectious, and his knowledge encyclopedic. He even managed to lend us a coat when my son forgot to bring his! All in all, a lovely, homely, comfy stay in a superb location, with lovely hosts. Thank you so much!

    Laura2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Good communication, Claire and Alan seem to care a lot about their guests, I felt very welcomed. Would definitely recommend if you're an outside person though there isn't a lot more to Oxwich than the beach/walks, but if that's what you're looking for you've found the place.

    Cormac2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent time at Claire & Alan's, and fantastic orientation chat on arrival. The place was sparkling clean and the location is amazing - a stone's throw from the beach. Plus views over a delicious garden. Thank you for your great hosting A&C! We will be back.

  • We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! Eamonn is an excellent host: he communicated very clear directions with how to find the place, and even met us to check-in and show us around the place and fill us in on local tips. We felt very taken care of. It was also sparkling clean, within walking distance of two village pubs, and a short drive away from the popular sights of Gower. Highly recommend!

  • We have just returned from our second visit to The Cwtch and we absolutely loved it again. It is such a cosy and welcoming cottage in a beautiful village, with stunning local scenery and walks right on the doorstep, and a great village pub with fantastic food. The accommodation is always spotlessly clean, lovely and warm (even in the winter), very well equipped and we love the little thoughtful extras that Eamonn provides - what a great host! We never want to leave! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a cosy retreat in a perfect rural setting!

  • Great stay, set in a beautifully quiet area of the Gower with many local attractions nearby. Great for couples or anybody wanting to explore the local area but still have a comfortable AirB&B that they can enjoy spending the evenings in. Host was extremely helpful and did their upmost to make our stay enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend.

  • A wonderfully snug little cottage which is perfect for two people in a wonderful location for the coast path. There is a delightful garden for sitting in when the weather permits. The the cottage has all the amenities you would expect and the woodburner is a wonderful bonus and makes it all so cosy. I love the way space has been so cleverly used and it is such a relaxing place that I really did not want to leave!

  • Wonderful place to escape to for a few days. The cottage is perfectly located for walks along the coastal path and beach and there is a pub within walking distance (10 mins). The cottage itself is lovely and cosy, the space works so well and had everything we needed. Thank you, Kate!

  • I had spotted this little cottage whilst out on a walk on a previous Gower break and I had kept their business card, pleased to see it was suitable for 1-2 people (I have found in the past that most self-catering accommodation sleeps 4+ and is therefore priced accordingly). It is a lovely little cottage, small in size but cosy, with a warm rustic feel to it, comfortable and well designed, as well as thoroughly equipped. The wood burning stove is very enjoyable in the evenings (a must for me when I select accommodation) and the south facing garden, with table and chairs, is perfect when the sun comes out. The digital radio was a pleasant surprise and so was the extensive library of books and DVDs. The location is superb, with one of the most beautiful stretches of the coastal path just at the bottom of the field. The Middleton bus stop is just a few steps away, making it very easy to reach this cottage on public transport. Rhossili with its stunning beach and the Worm's Head pub, for a pint with breathtaking views, are also easy to reach on foot. A pretty detour on a footpath across the fields makes a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village, off the paved road. Owners Kate and Steve are very welcoming, as is their little dog Djenko. I make regular visits to the Gower, as I love walking in the area, and this little cottage makes a perfect base. Thank you!

  • Our stay at Natasha's was more than what we could have hoped for. The house was beautiful and immaculately clean. Natasha was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and kindly greeted us when we arrived. I would definitely return to this property and would highly recommend it.

    Daniel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, Natasha was great to communicate with during our stay. Lovely house with rural views with plenty of space for guests. Comfortable beds and great kitchen.

    Claire2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Natasha's place was perfect for our event. It's extremely spacious and well planned out. There is plenty of space for parking at least 8 cars on the drive which matches the internal space . The kitchen is amazing with some very cool features. Beautiful views of the local area also. We would definitely use Natasha's place again. Thank you.

    Nicholas2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Natasha's place was perfect for our requirements, great house with plenty of space in a useful Gower location.

    Tom2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Natasha's property for a Christmas wedding at Fairyhill, just over a mile up the road. The location was therefore perfect. The house was very clean, spacious and had great views. Natasha was very helpful when booking and checking in, with swift responses to queries. We arrived on Boxing Day and Natasha was happy to come and meet us but we reassured her that all was OK. She was still prepared to be interrupetd by phone if there were any problems (which there weren't!). All in all, a great find and we highly recommend this home for large family groups. Thanks once again to Natasha for superb hosting.

    Rachael2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for two nights at Christmas and had the best time. The house is gorgeous and has so much space. Natasha was a great host and was so easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

    Emily2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely big house for a large group of people. We stayed for a wedding as old walls and is literally a few minutes away in a car. Natasha is friendly and helpful.

    Coral2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Natasha's place is a real treat. After being let down by another Airbnb host, Natasha was able to host our group of 10 friends at exceptionally short notice and we all agreed that our stay in the Gower probably turned out to be better than it otherwise would have been. The surrounding views are stunning and it's safe to say that the house is nestled in an area of natural beauty, but the little touches are what makes this place special. The Sonos stereo system, big open spaces and quirkily-decorated rooms create an excellent venue for a party (we were celebrating my 32nd birthday) and Natasha's laid back and helpful attitude really made us feel relaxed and at ease. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to meet Natasha in person, but her husband did pop in, and he was super friendly too. The continental breakfast was great too (much needed with slightly sore heads the next day!). Thanks so much Natasha, we would love to return one day.

Room for a cot if required, or a table and chairs if not. 20 min walk to Three Cliffs bay. Shop & dog friendly pubs within walking distance. A paradise for walkers. So many beautiful walks, including the Wales Coast Path, from the doorstep. Great for surfing, body boarding, open water swimming. Well behaved dogs welcome. Enclosed garden.
Access to shared patio and lawn area. The garden is enclosed so safe for dogs.
We are in the lovely village of Pennard, overlooking the world famous Three Cliffs bay. There are a few shops (including a new fabulous plastic free shop) plus a fantastic cafe at Three Cliffs cafe. Food is also available at Pennard Golf Club and the Southgate pub. The Gower Inn in Parkmill is also within walking distance (though uphill on way home!).
  • Lovely space and wonderful hospitality. It’s perfectly situated to explore the Gower peninsula and Sally is an extremely thoughtful and caring host. Would highly recommend.

    Alicia2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely, quiet, relaxing place to stay. It worked very well for us as we were visiting family in the area. It's a good place to stay to visit Gower, enjoy the scenery & take me scenic walks. Sally was an excellent hostess & we had all we needed. We were very comfortable & hope to visit again.

    Steven2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sally is an outstanding and flawless host. She has gone beyond normal expectations in making us feel at home. She had kept things for breakfast which is usually not included in majority of places. Her place was neat and comfortable and we did not feel we were away from home even a little bit. Her house location is excellent with many places to visit at a walking distance ( Pennard Castle, Three Cliffs bay, Pobbles bay, etc) for people who prefer hikes. For people with a car it's like heaven on earth. The Premere shop is at a 4 mins walking distance which has sufficient stock for basic grocery needs. If you do not have a car please keep in mind the bus schedules as the number 14 bus is scheduled only once per hour. We will definitely be back!

    Rutuja2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend a stay here if your in the area, Sally has been great throughout. I would certainly return if I'm in the area.

  • This place is perfect! Such a cute little annex with lovely extra touches like fresh fruit and orange juice! It’s the perfect spot to explore the Gower and we could even relax and enjoy Netflix! I haven’t been here since I was a little girl and this place did not disappoint! I would highly recommend staying here! Sally was really lovely throughout the whole process and extremely helpful! 👍🏼

    Poppi2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay in Sally’s comfortable room, the breakfast was delicious and the hot shower very welcome after a days walking. But the best thing about this place is its location 5 mins walk away from the coast path with coffee shop/ pub nearby too. Sally was very helpful with local information and I sorted myself out walking along the coast and catching a bus back.

    Jane2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This annex is everything it describes. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped .Sally cannot do enough for you and is very thoughtful. The breakfast was lovely. Sally left cereal ,bread and jams and even fresh fruit. There was orange juice ,tea, coffee and plenty of milk. Would definitely recommend, you wont be disappointed. Nigel and Denise

  • Absolutely amazing place to stay. Louise was a fantastic host, she added special touches which were so thoughtful. Would definitely recommend and come again. Thank you so much 😊

    Sophie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful well looked after annex. Comfy bedding, quiet nights, modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Would suggesting following Google maps to the farm opposite to find it. The hot tub was great, went in every night in pitch dark and looked at a super starry sky. You do have to go out the front and round the side to get to the hot tub area so may be worth bringing an extra towel or robe and a pair of flip flops! I would recommend Louise's place to others, enjoy!

    Steph2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely stay in a beautiful spot. We were greeted with a welcome message on the little board in the kitchen and some home-made brownies which our kids devoured! We didn't get to try out the hot tub but the wood-burning stove in the living room was very much appreciated. Information and practical guidance second to none.

    Robin2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Louise was a lovely host, very welcoming and the cottage was perfect! So many little touches that made our weekend very special, from the homemade brownies to the fluffy towels. The cottage was everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend away. Despite the horrendous weather brought by storm ‘Dennis’ we still braved the hot tub which was a great addition to the already perfect cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be returning :-)

    Milly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Louise's place is adorable and a perfect location near Fairyhill for my cousin's wedding. We loved all the amenities, and the place was as clean as a whistle. It was so comfy and cozy. The stairs are a bit dangerous if you have children, however that was a child safety gate, and no issues for us (no children). Louise and her partner were so lovely, and very helpful! They provided towels, fresh eggs, and homemade brownies amongst many things. We will certainly be coming back! Also the hot tub was a great addition.

  • Jacky's cottage is superb! We planned (unexpectedly) our long weekend during storm Dennis - Jacky very kindly kept us informed regarding the road closures and offered to defer our stay because of the storm. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the log burner kept us and the dog warm throughout the evening. The location of the cottage is perfect as it is close to all the beaches and has nice walk routes right next! Thank you Jacky for our lovely stay!

  • What a beautiful cottage! We stayed for the weekend whilst attending a wedding in Fairyhill. Jacky was very accommodating and kept in touch every step of the way. Staying here made our weekend extra special. Very relaxing and comfortable. Will definitely be looking at coming again so we can see more of the area!

    Lisa2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cottage and were sad to leave. It’s super cosy and was very well set out and equipped for our toddler also. It’s in a lovely peaceful setting surrounded by sheep, countryside and within striking distance of everything in the flower as it was so central. Jacky met us on arrival and had bought us a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. We had fresh logs for the fire and were made to feel welcome straight away. The cottage is very comfortable and we loved the farm animals and the garden too. We will be back again for sure. Don’t hesitate to book especially if you have kids or just want to get away for a relaxing break.

    Claudia2020-01-05T00:00:00Z

  • Gorgeous, cosy cottage - perfectly situated for a wedding at Fairy Hill (we even walked home after). Jacky is a super communicative and responsive host. While we didn't get to meet, she took care of all our queries and was really accommodating - helping us with check in and getting supplies in. Couldn't recommend more, thanks again for the lovely stay!

A newly modernised annexe to a high standard with views over the Loughor Estuary. Located within easy reach of the beautiful village of Llanmadoc with its award winning pub 'The Brittannia Inn' and Gowers famous beaches. The property is also ideal for wedding guests as it is less than a mile away from 'Oldwalls Wedding Venue, 'Fairyhill' and 'Ocean View'.
  • A perfectly appointed place in a wonderful location with views on the Gower and Llanelli in the distance. Warm despite the weather, lovely landlords, super stylish place: we had a great time, thank you for everything!

  • Would certainly stay again, great hosts who even picked up some groceries for us when we were stuck! Spotlessly clean, had everything you need for a great break away.

    Phil2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a super property for a couple. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated, Martyn & Vicki have created a home from home within this annexe. We can only endorse previous comments - lovely views across the estuary from the lounge window , spotless appliances, great shower - and thank you for the Welsh cakes, biscuits & prosecco. The tastefully decorated Christmas tree was a lovely touch! The property itself is a mile from an award winning pub, the Britannia, and a couple of miles further on you gain access to some of the best beaches in the UK. Highly recommended. Reggie, the sprocker, absolutely loved it!!

  • We highly recommend this lovely annex to anyone looking to enjoy the Gower Peninsula and beautiful coastal walks and beaches. The location was perfect for exploring all the lovely delights. Communication from Martyn and Vicky was very responsive and helpful, which we really appreciated. We arrived to a lovely warm annex with the lovely touch of a Christmas Tree, chilled processco, welsh cakes and mince pies, along with tea, coffee and milk. The annex was extremely clean with lovely touches and decor giving it a lovely homely feeling. The shower was great, nice and powerful, spacious with toiletries available. For us it was also a bonus that we could take our 10 month dog with us too, to enjoy a lovely few days away.

  • Great place, well finished and kitted out. Thanks for the prosecco, milk and Welsh cakes. Great location for exploring the Gower. Highly recommended

  • Martyn and Vicky were extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat. The accommodation was spotless and very comfy and cosy! It is perfectly located to explore the Gower via the coastal path just down the road or a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away. The property was outstandingly clean and stylish, and the host was extremely helpful suggesting local places to eat and walk. Martin was kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco, welsh cakes, tea and coffee facilities, and some chocolate all free of charge. The property was in close proximity to nice coastal walks and a local pub with some top food.

  • Jessica’s place was great. We stayed for one night as we were running a trail run in the area. You can definitely see it would make a perfect place to stay in the summer as you could make the most of the terrace and local beaches. Jessica was really helpful and thorough with her communication.

  • Great scenery at a fair price, would recommend to all looking

    George2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, literally less than a 10 minute walk to the beach / Oxwich Bay Hotel. Relatively easy to find and the Chalet itself is equipped with everything you'd need for a short stay. There's only 1 small shop nearby that sells the basic items such as bread/milk/butter as well as fish and chips so I'd definitely recommend bringing some food with you if you dont fancy driving to grab food from a bigger store or eating in the local hotel. Jess made our stay very easy and stress free - you will not be disappointed with this place!

    James2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica was a brilliant host. The chalet was in a perfect location for Oxwich Bay. It was very clean with excellent amenities. I will 100% book again for any more trips to the Gower. Thanks Jess

  • We had a great weekend staying at the chalet. It was the perfect little apartment for a getaway. The location was a short walk down to Oxwich Bay. Jessica was great with communication in the lead up. Would highly recommend.

We came to the Gower for a wedding at Oldwalls and Christine's place was perfect - clean and homely, with beautiful views of the hills and a bus stop right outside to get back to Swansea station. Christine made a delicious cooked breakfast both mornings and was incredibly kind and helpful when our taxi for the wedding didn't arrive in time. Would love to come again to see more of the area!

The lounge is very spacious perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Games, toys and dvds are provided. Tv with free view and wifi. Outside there is a private patio with garden furniture. The propery is surrounded by our flower & vegetable garden and during the summer it resembles an allotment. Produce is for sale at the farm gate.
Burry is in perfect location to explore the whole Peninsula. Beautiful beaches on our doorstep. Port Eynon is the nearest, perfect for families. Visit Worms Head in Rhossili voted into the Top 10 views of the world. Eat out, and enjoy a drink at the King Arthur, highly recommended only 5 mins by car. Brilliant location close to sone of the most stunning uk coastline I've seen (only 7.5 miles away at Rhossili) Marian was so helpful as well. There is a local shop close by, but worth visiting supermarkets in Llanelli on your way through. All in all a brilliant stay and will be visiting again to explore lots more of the Gower!

Marion was quick to respond to any queries, & very helpful contacting relatives on our behalf as there was no phone signal. A rail by the 2 steps into the property then level & step free accomodation made it the perfect place to stay with my Mum who has mobility issues. We're already planning dates to return!

  • This was our second trip to Llangennith and the barn did not disappoint. Really well set up for a surf trip. The log burner and stunning decor make it a lovely place to spend time when the weather isn't on your side. A short drive to lots of great surf spots and a smashing village pub with a great menu and local beer. Steve and Pippa were excellent hosts. Super communication and very welcoming. Thanks again. Hope to come back again soon.

  • A wonderful stay in a beautiful house, couldn’t ask for a better location. Only thing to mention is the stairs to the bedrooms were quite steep and I was concerned for my mother who’s in her 70s. Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend!

    Fr Sebastian2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish and well equipped with sea views from the bedrooms and close to a good pub. Remember to book if you want to eat in this popular venue. Also very pleasant outside space.

  • What a wonderful place to stay! Kindly hosted by Steve & Pippa over the weekend. Only a 1 minute drive to the best beach in the U.K.! Can easily be walked, but we have young children so a concealed unit was necessary to keep them in one place for decanting onto the beach :) We could easily have stayed there for a week. I highly recommend a stay at Common Stone Barn. We’ll done guys, keep up the great work. xxx

  • A lovely little cottage really close to the beach. Perfect for a getaway with the family, we would definitely come back!

    Joanna2019-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cozy, funky spot. Well equipped for a family of three. Lovely wood-burning stove to come home to at the end of a chilly but fantastic day of exploring the gorgeous local beaches. Three minute drive to a great little stoney beach. Had a little problem with a beeping smoke detector, but Steve (pippa’s husband) sorted it out cheerfully just moments after we called. Now that we’ve found this gem, it’s on our list of places to return in the summer.

  • Staying at the Bake House was a real winter treat for us. It's located a short drive from the beach which meant easy access for surfing and had a brilliant little outside space to store surfboards and wetsuits. The cottage itself has all the amenities you need for a long weekend with ample cooking facilities and an amazing wood burner which kept the cottage nice and toasty. And it's walking distance to the local pub! Definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area and want somewhere quiet to relax and enjoy the coast.
