Places to stay in Jefferson
**important** Because of the current health crisis we will not be hosting guests in April. Thanks for your interest and hopefully we can reopen soon. Get away from it all in this secluded off-grid cabin. Inspired by traditional lean -tos and modern Swedish design. This minimal space features a wall of windows that makes you feel like you are sleeping in the trees, while staying cozy and dry! Relax, unplug, and listen to the nearby stream, birds, & the rustle of leaves.
Fern valley eco cabin was built and designed by Yona. It is a timber frame structure, made with pine wood. The cabin has no (running water november- april) electricity or WiFi. You are free to access our WIFI by our house, a 5 min walk from the cabin.
20 minutes to Stamford, Hobart and Cobleskill. 45 minutes to Bovina, Cooperstown and Oneonta. Explore the trails, farms and great restaurants of the surrounding Catskills!
  • The cabin was great you get exactly what is shown in the images. The cabin was warm and cozy and the outhouse was clean. When we stayed though it rained the day before and its getting warmer so the pond was over flowing and it was pretty muddy by the bonfire which was okay as long as you had some kind of boots on. Besides that I definitely would want to go back when things are drier. P.S: Their dog going on a morning stroll and hanging out with us as we were getting ready to leave was the best, he genuinely made me want to stay longer.

  • Amazing stay. The cabin was beautiful, plenty warm and cozy. Located in very beautiful private spot. Happily do it again.

  • I can't express enough how much we loved this cozy little cabin! It is designed beautifully with beautiful, peaceful views of the surrounding woods. It stayed super warm, even on the snowy night we spent there. The host greeted us warmly and walked us to the cabin, even though we got there quite late. Can't wait to go back!

    Claire2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing space and made for a very unique and memorable stay. The cabin is tucked away in the woods so we felt like we had complete privacy, even while outside enjoying the fire pit. Our visit was at the end of February, so there was snow on the ground but even so the cabin’s heater worked wonders and kept us warm throughout our stay. Yona and Elan were very welcoming and gracious hosts, greeting us with beers upon our arrival and helping us make sure the heat turned on, etc. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get out of the city!

    David2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful space. Elan was so helpful and attentive; even had warm cookies waiting for us! I’m really looking forward to coming back. Can’t wait to sit by the fire in the summer months, and give the outdoor shower a try! Thanks for everything!

    Lillien2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely magical place to spend time. We went in mid-February for a long weekend -- although we were excited, we were admittedly a bit worried that we might be cold the entire time. Yona and Elan's space, despite our (needless) worries, kept us super warm and cozy throughout our stay, and their hospitality and little touches (greeted us with beer and muffins!) made us feel very welcome. Though the bathroom is an outhouse, it is immaculately clean -- not just for an outhouse, but for a bathroom! We would highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to escape the city for a few days. Thanks, Yona and Elan!

    Andrew2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • One of the coolest Airbnb stays, spectacular cabin, Elan and Yona are super hosts!

Cabin Clack is a cozy, stream-side retreat bordering 1000 acres of wild trails in host-maintained Clapper Hollow State Forest. The area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities and also offers plentiful organic farm stands in growing season. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or families (with kids). We welcome pets, and they will love exploring the countryside and the freedom of our virtually traffic-free dead-end road.
The space is a 1-room cabin with queen bed, kitchenette with microwave, electric stove and mini fridge. Vintage free-standing tub and Vermont Castings wood-burning stove. The back porch overlooks a lively little stream and a hibachi if you feel like grilling. There is a free standing outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood to make a campfire at night. A great place for star gazing.
  • Another year, another incredible weekend at the cabin. We’ve been coming to this magical place for three years now, and every time it is always the perfect escape from the city. Tom & Clara are the most incredible hosts. They always set up the fireplace before we arrive so it is nice and toasty and we love tea time with them. The hiking trails around the cabin are perfect, and pancakes at the farm is a must do! We can’t wait to return!

    Ashley2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin and property are gorgeous, and the hosts lovely. We had absolute privacy and the opportunity to explore the forest on snowshoe, with a glowing fire to come home to. A great experience.

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is our only recurring Airbnb ever, and that's because it's just so amazing. If you're looking for a quiet getaway emersed in nature look no further. A true gem.

    Clay2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second visit to the Cabin, so I already knew I was in for a treat. I stayed last time in the fall and thought it couldn’t get better, but a fresh snow made the place truly magical. My dog loved being off-leash the whole weekend - so much so that she wouldn’t get in the car when it was time to go! Hikes in the woods with the Cabin’s snowshoes and poles were beautiful. The wood stove kept us plenty warm even when the night dipping close to zero. Tom and Clara were great throughout my stay - offering me tips for arriving in a storm and a lovely tea when I arrived. If you’re at all tempted, book this! You won’t regret it!

    Kimberly2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away for the weekend. Tom and Clara were phenomenal! They were available whenever we needed and made us feel like family when they welcomed us into their home to have tea with them. They even gave us a jump start on our car when our battery died. The cabin is beautiful and off the grid, you are secluded and have acres and acres to explore with a creek that goes right through to the back of the cabin. Our 2 dogs and ourselves enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to return to do some more hiking when there’s less snow and to have more tea with Tom and Clara. ☺️

    Joshua2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a gem! Exactly as pictured and described, it is off a dead end road, with no visible houses from the windows of the cabin, which makes it feel so secluded and private because IT IS secluded and private. It is a separate little property located across the street from the hosts, so you really feel like it's yours during your stay. A little creek can be heard flowing along to sing you to sleep and there are trails to be hiked right out the door, no need to even drive to a trailhead. The woodstove was well stocked with everything we needed to keep it going through our stay and there were snowshoes provided for us to borrow for some hiking in the snowy forest. Absolutely stunning National Forests surround the cabin, we hiked for hours and didn't see a single other person or house. There is one main bed (full size) in the main room, then there are a couple mattresses up in the loft accessed by a ladder. Perfect for a family with kids old enough to climb ladders. Tub is in the main area, which was so romantic. Wouldn't suggest this place for people who don't want to bathe in front of each other though. The water is very sulfury, which was great for baths. The hosts provide water from their spring for drinking, which was deliciously pure and non-sulfury. The location was easy to find and Tom and Clara were very kind and quick to respond. We will definitely be back in the spring/summer to see what this little slice of heaven looks like when it's all green; but the snowy paradise is well worth the visit to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants some solitude.

    Anna & Ben2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clara and Tom are the best and this cabin is a slice of heaven! We loved everything: the door knob, the windows, the floor boards, the stove (even the stove manual is cute!), the porch, the backyard snowshoeing and sledding and especially afternoon tea with Clara and Tom! We felt part of the family and were even helped by out by a neighbor which was really sweet. Plus it was a beautiful drive to Plattekill for some mellow skiing. On the way home we talked about how we could live there forever. . .

    Robin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful single room cabin situated near a river, Tom and Clara truly care about their property and area and were some of the best hosts I've stayed with. Who can say no to a woodstove, beautiful trails, and welcoming gracious hosts? Even though the cabin is small, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My partner and I were able to cook all of our meals, play games, and relax without feeling cramped in the space. I would definitely go back, and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Beautiful light and airy post and beam contemporary house in gorgeous country setting with a sweeping view of the Charlotte Valley in the foothills of the Catskills. Perfect for a romantic get-away, family or ski weekend (Hunter, Windham, Bellayre, Plattekill just under an hours drive). Close to Cooperstown/Baseball Hall of Fame, quaint villages, farm to table restaurants. Absolutely no hunting allowed on the property!!!
PLEASE READ - We don’t have internet at the house - when we spend time at the house we use our phones with Verizon service as Hotspots. For vacation mode that usually is sufficient- you can check emails, social media, play games on your iPad etc. It most likely won’t support a Zoom or Webex video sessions, if you plan on working remotely. I’m writing this during the Coronavirus epidemic due to the numerous inquiries we’ve received. Unfortunately there is not a cable or internet provider currently offering fast service at this address! This country house has two large dedicated bedrooms with a California King bed each, and a walk-out level guest room with a pull-out double couch, that can sleep 2 people. The master bedroom on the top floor is very large and open to the living area below. Please be aware that although it is private, it is open to sounds from the main floor. If you enjoy curling up on the couch with a good book, the wood stove can add to a cozy ambiance. If the weather is nice, you will love eating on the large back deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen and tableware. Should you want to be more active and just return to the house for the night, let me know and I'll provide a list of restaurants and things to do! Our location invites you to relax, take in the views, enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch. If you’re quiet, chances are you will see deer and turkeys wander through the garden, or if you’re really lucky you will see our resident Bald Eagles circle over the field behind the house. While you sip a cup of coffee on the deck in the early fall, just wearing a sweater over your pj’s, you might see how quickly the morning fog moves through the Valley. As you can tell we love this valley and hope you will enjoy your stay here too! (We think it’s magical, and who needs WiFi if you have all this - sorry no internet!)
We are located in the foothills of the Catskills. Oneonta, a small university town, is the closest city - about a 20 to 25 minute drive. Cooperstown is about 30 minutes away. Albany is about an hour away and depending on traffic, it takes us 3 to 3.5 hrs to the George Washington bridge in NYC.
  • Beautiful home. Airy and comfortable. Loved the decor and artwork. Gorgeous view. Laima is attentive and accommodating.

  • Really relaxing and stylish house. Easy check in and it was incredibly clean. Laima instantly responds to messages and we loved our stay there. We'll stay again for sure

  • You can't go wrong with this house. It exceeded my expectations. The design is thoughtful and stylish. Laima was super communicative and quick. The house has everything you need and more, from basic necessities to games. We loved the vinyl, collection, plants throughout the space, and the handmade soaps. We will definitely stay again.

  • A wonderful place to stay, every amenity is there, a great experience.

    Lynn2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Laima was the perfect airbnb host, and her home was one of our best experiences. The house was stylish and more spacious than we expected. It provides a great chance to spread out and relax. The outdoor setting was very pretty and provided a huge field space for gazing at an enormous night sky. The bit of snow during our late autumn trip added such nice atmosphere. Laima is so generous with her home, spaces, games, suggestions, and food. This place was a terrific value for us as four adults. We would like to return!

    Nick2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house was spectacular. Clean, modern and an accommodating host. I highly recommend a stay here whether you are looking for some rest or relaxation or visiting the area. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to coming back!

My place is close to Skiing, Cooperstown and Howes Caverns. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and charm. There is a wood burning stove in the cabin for the winter months and a firepit in the back patio for the summer months to enjoy. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. There is 30 acres of fields and woods to enjoy. Close to hiking, biking, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling!
It's a log cabin, it has a great room that makes it extra cozy. The loft overlooks the great room. The loft is the entertainment center, there is a TV with access to DirecTV , wi-fi and high speed Internet.
If you want serenity, this is the place. If you want activity, this is the place. We are close to so many places and far away enough for a peaceful rest.
  • What a beautiful cabin! We felt so welcomed. Marlene went out of her way to let us know about the impending snowfall and plowed the driveway for us. She was very responsive and kind. The cabin is large and surrounded by gorgeous trees. 10/10 would recommend for a sweet woodsy getaway.

    Dani2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I (30s NYC) were looking for an isolated place for a weekend getaway with our dog. We wanted a lot of space for our dog to run around. Marlene's place exceeded expectations in every way. Amazing value as well. Everything was very clean and the check-in/out was seamless. The kitchen has some antique appliances which were very neat, and there was a good amount of information (leaflets) about the surrounding area that was placed on the main coffee table. We can't wait to go back by ourselves or with friends.

    Kyle2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible experience at Crow's Nest Cabin. First off, Marlene was very quick to respond to my questions. Our stay was comfortable. The pictures do not do this place justice! We were blown away. Although it is far, this is exactly what we were looking for. The quiet is so different from that of the city, and it was just the thing we needed to unwind and refresh. Everything we needed was there. We were able to do tons of cooking. Although the wifi was not very strong and there was practically no service, it was perfect because we played games, talked all night and just disconnected from the rest of the world. 10/10 would stay here again! Also got engaged during my stay on New Year's, so it will be in my memories forever. Thanks Marlene!

    Kiara2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Crow’s Nest is the perfect location to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. As described, the cabin is tucked away on a remote piece of property, far away from the hustle and bustle (can be a bit difficult to find, especially in the winter weather, so I’d recommend a car with 4-wheel drive). The space itself is clean, warm, and inviting. We had plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 children, 3 dogs, and all of our Christmas presents, decor, etc. Marlene is quick to respond via the app and Jim (a neighbor) is only a phone call away. If you’re looking to get away and relax, I’d highly recommend the Crow’s Nest!

  • we absolutely loved our stay here! perfectly placed on a stunning property. it is a little tricky to find the driveway if you’re arriving at night so try to arrive during daylight hours if you can! beds were very comfortable and loved the rustic touches. we fell in love with the kitchen and the antique appliances. the stove is fairly simple to use but we called the property manager to make sure we did it properly. we used the porch almost every morning and it was a nice and quiet escape from nyc. such a cozy space and we loved being here for a few days!

    Allie2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures do not do this place justice! The property exceeded our expectations and the space was absolutely breathtaking. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Thank you!

This Big "Tiny House" is sure to please with its fully functional kitchen, comfortable loft bedroom, well furnished living room and dining area, and beautiful yard and back porch. So much thought has gone into this adorable little house. It offers it's guests all the comforts of a home away from home built and furnished by seasoned travelers. We have tried to be sure that your stay is perfect whether you are looking for 1 night of quiet or 2 weeks to take in all the local attractions.
The property is located on a well maintained Road, (off of the main rd.) and sits in front of four and a half acres of farmland. It is bordered on two sides by pine trees, has a lovely side yard and a very private back yard. The roof is 12 on 12 providing a considerable amount of Headroom in the loft area and the entire house is insulated with the best possible insulation to keep the occupants warm on even the coldest of winter nights and yet preserving nice, cool temperatures on hot days. Outfitted with a Rinnai heater, Navien tankless on-demand hot water heater, stainless steel refrigerator, stove and built in microwave, no expense was spared to create this warm and well-thought-out get-away. Hardwood flooring (acacia wood), tongue and groove walls & ceiling give the feeling of being in a cozy cabin, right down to the private, roofed back porch for a quiet summer's night relaxation. The Shabby Chic style including a kitchen filled with gadgets and a Keurig machine (don't forget your k-cups) makes cooking and serving delicious meals that much fun. Our first guests left rave reviews and told us they would definitely return. The Shabby Chic Airbnb sits around the corner from over 800 Acres of state land and is well situated for a commute to Albany, Cobleskill, Cooperstown, Oneonta, Delhi and yet under a 4 hour commute from New York City. This area is currently home to several wedding venues, The Breakfast Club (the best breakfast restaurant I have ever eaten at) and is an easy commute to everything from skiing to snowmobiling, hunting to fishing, golfing to horseback riding, swimming to visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame, a racetrack (cars and motorcycles, Oorah, even 2 Wal-marts, we've got it all.
The Breakfast Club is located right on Main St. in Jefferson and serves the best breakfast in NYS (in my opinion)! The Heartbreak has a long tradition of serving good, affordable food as well as offering a full bar for those seeking beverages. There is a corner store known as the J & H not more than 5 miles away that will provide most of the necessary basics you may find you need. There is a post office in town for all your mailing needs. The Jefferson Green, the town park, is in the heart of Jefferson and has a nice playground including swings, slide (tall slide), teeter totters and a basketball court. There are also several picnic tables and benches. Buck Hill Farms serves a wonderful Pancake Breakfast with Real Maple Syrup on weekends. This is small town living at it's best!
  • Great little place on a quiet road.

    Casey2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

  • The communication was great and the notes in the house were really helpful!

    Alex2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was very intimate, comfortable, and cozy with lovely surroundings. I was in town for a wedding at a nearby farm/event space and it was no problem getting there. Kimberly left a lot of helpful notes around the cottage with instructions for check-in and checking out. The space was very thoughtfully and accommodatingly arranged.

    Ben2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kimberly and Amber were exceptional hosts in every way. This tiny house was both modern and clean and had all the amenities of a large house. Beautiful! It had everything you would hope in a stay from all necessary kitchen appliances, clean showers, hair dryers, multiple fans, pull out couch, washer, dryer and so on. Even the Hulu was subscribed to live TV! Check in process was easy and laid back and they were both were there to answer any questions before, during, and after the stay. I recommend to anyone looking for a little getaway especially with a dog! A+ hosts all around and would gladly come back anytime.

    Joshua2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We live in Brooklyn (lol) and had a wedding in nearby Summit. We had such an amazing time at Kimberly's place—and so did our English bulldog, Hank. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute tiny home in the area.

The cabin consists of a living room/ kitchen, dining room, and bath on the first floor. There is a loft with 2 twin beds and a full bed. A wood stove will keep you cozy on cool nights and ceiling fans will keep you cool in the summer. All are welcome. Perfect for family of 4 or for 1 couple. There are fun things to do within an hour of the cabin. There are Caverns, zip-lining, Baseball Museum and lots of hiking trails around. There is a studio apartment attached to the back of the cabin for the hosts when they are there. It has a separate entrance and facilities. We are sometimes there so we can clean the cabin between guests. When we are there we have our 30 pound friendly American Eskimo with us.
Beginning the second weekend in October, the price per night will be $86 to help cover the cost of the firewood. By then you will need a fire in the wood burning stove to keep you cozy at night and also may need a fire during the day if it is chilly.
The cabin is set in the woods on a well kept gravel road. There are only eight homes on the road with only one you can see. The foliage in the area is beautiful. Come enjoy some great hunting or just come and enjoy the cabin and the beautiful area.
  • Very relaxing cottage away from noise but close to activities. Very well equipped with thoughtful extras. Thanks for having the first fire all ready to spark as it was a freezing night and that helped warm things up quicker. We will return when the weather is warmer as the chairs on the deck looked so comfortable and regret not having coffee outside.

  • Amazing cottage in the middle of the woods to relax. Super friendly hosts!

    Martin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is without a doubt the most thoughtfully appointed cabin in the woods. Every single thing you might need and want .... Michael and Althea have renovated this old hunter’s cabin perfectly. I slept like a rock. I loved it all. Additionally.... if they’re there at the same time in their private apartment.... you will be charmed by them as well! Jefferson is a wonderful, small village with great ‘picking’ opportunity too. Can’t beat it!

    Melissa2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Althea thank you again for everything. We had such a wonderful time at the house. It really made our weekend stress free. Unfortunately Jack didn't join us, too bad he would have love the yard. The house was clean and very cozy, and you provided us with everything we needed (coffee!). Your communication was outstanding. Kind Regards, Vincent

    Vincent2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • We came to Althea’s place for a weekend getaway from the City with our dog. The place was just as described, very well maintained and offered all the quietness we were looking for. Downstairs a well equipped kitchen, dining room and a comfy living room with two rocking chairs, TV with Direct TV and DVD player with a broad collection. Upstairs two single beds and a double-bed, comfortably sleeps 4 people. You have a lot of privacy, two fire pits, a meadow with a bench behind the cottage and a roofed porch in case it rains. There were local tips for hiking and food. Thank you for a great stay!!

    Martina & Marek2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely place to stay for the weekend - especially a wonderful place for dogs. Althea was responsive and thoughtful, even leaving directions for a nice hike and calling to check to see that everything was ok with our stay. Would be happy to stay again!

  • If you are looking for a beautifully decorated rustic cabin in the Catskills, then this is the place! The amentities were great, but the best part by far is being surrounded by all of the nature. There are bird feeders all around the property, a few fire pits, and an outdoor shower.

  • Fantastic host and property! Clean and stylish space with all the amenities you could need. Location and outdoor space was perfect if you have dogs or just like to hang outside - great mountain/country views. Check-in and check-out was seamless, and host is extremely responsive and amenable to as much or little interaction as you are comfortable with. Highly recommend and will be staying there again for sure!

  • We had a great stay at Hamilton’s apartment. The place is clean, the location is good, and there was a lot of room for our two dogs. We would certainly stay again!

*Adjacent to motorcycle racetrack. Not visible, but noisy in daytime 9am-5pm, 4-5 days/wk. Beautiful 1300 sq.ft. house in the mountains 20-min E. of Oneonta. Exquisite views, 1 separate bedroom, 1 open loft bedroom, Gas fireplace, huge lawn, outdoor dining area. Convenient to Cooperstown All Star Village (25 min) & Cooperstown, NY (45 min) *NO WIFI/INTERNET but good cell service. *Well water has sulphur. Healthy, but tastes bad. Bottled water in fridge!
The open loft bedroom has sliding doors to small veranda (NOTE: in hot summer months we put an air conditioner in the sliding doors, which blocks access to veranda). There is a dishwasher and kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and cups and glasses. Gorgeous views, pretty garden, outdoor seating, stainless steel appliances, huge lawn, nicely furnished. *No internet but good cell reception *No television but there is a small flat screen, DVD player and DVDs *No washer/dryer Great for Cooperstown All-Star Village and Dreams Park baseball parents and other baseball fans. Glimmerglass opera is less than an hour away. There is a lovely garden and huge lawn with outdoor seating under a canopy of tree branches with views of the mountains. No neighbors in sight!
Beautiful, rural, mountainous, great views. • Dana was an amazing host! She was so friendly and super responsive (within minutes). Her house is not only beautiful and very private but is also extremely clean. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We loved the electric fireplace. This cabin is tucked away and far from the Main Street. Therefore very private, quiet and quaint. The grounds are beautifully kept and the appliances and interior were all new! We had a lovely time and highly recommend staying at this location. Thank you Dana!

    Alexis2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Dana's place is great! Adorable and a nice piece of solitude in a hectic world. Dana was a great communicator and the place was spotless, comfortable and adorable. I'd recommend this to others!

  • Great place to stay! Very private. Its a perfect little retreat and can't wait to return!

  • We had a wonderful time staying here while our son played at Cooperstown. We enjoyed our coffee in complete peace and serenity in the mornings in the anti-gravity chairs on the patio. It is about a 30 minute drive with the windy roads throughout the mountains, but we just planned accordingly and enjoyed the scenery on the way! Dana added wonderful finishing touches throughout the house and the home was sparkling clean! Thank you!!

    Ashley2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent and Exactly as advertised. Dana was helpful, accurate, quick responding. Property super clean. Kinda in the sticks but we knew that going in and again it’s exactly as advertised and what we were looking for. If you are booking for Cooperstown All-Star Village my advice is bring what you will need for the full day of baseball as it’s a 30min drive. We would absolutely book this location again and I would recommend it to friends &family

    Patrick2019-08-01T00:00:00Z

  • Me and my friends stayed here for one night and it was an incredible experience. Rosalie’s place had everything we needed. The view of the lake was very beautiful. At nighttime, we got to see the bright stars in the sky. We felt very welcome here and Rosalie was always available if we needed anything. Would definitely come back for another stay!

  • Great place to stay especially if you are going to a wedding at Blenheim farms. Just 1.5 miles away. Plenty of space stocked refrigerator. Great Airbnb

    Theodore2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I were attending a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm and this was the absolute perfect place to stay. It is less than a five minute drive away and so beautiful. Rosalie was an absolutely lovely host and put so many nice touches in the home like drinks in the fridge and breakfast supplies. The deck is gorgeous with the view of the lake. We were just sad we didn’t have more time to spend there but we hope to make a trip back soon!

    Ashley2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rosalie was such an amazing host. She stocked the fridge which was so helpful cause there weren’t a ton of food options close by. She went above and beyond as a host and we couldn’t have appreciated it more.

    Theresa2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, immaculate, cottage with a beautiful view. Rosalie couldn't have been more accommodating.

    Carol2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Rosalie is an incredibly kind and generous host. Her home is filled with so much love and care. She was very flexible with our arrival and departure times, and even kept the fridge well-stocked. We wish we had booked a longer stay! We can’t wait to come back!

Newly restored 1840s Greek Revival cottage with new kitchen, two new bathrooms with showers (no tub) and new mechanical systems, two bedrooms, parking and vegetable and flower gardens with creek and horse pasture views. The house is furnished with 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Easily accessible to farmstands, antiquing, historic sites, restaurants and a nearby state park with an Olympic-size pool. The host lives next door, so help is available when needed, but privacy is allowed.
Please note that it is an old house with antique furnishings and some items are old and fragile with scratches and patina developed over time. If this is a concern, it may not be a good fit for you, but others will see this as part of the appeal. Please no children under 12. There is a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Criterion Channel access, board games, books to read, an iron and ironing board, washer/dryer and a full kitchen.
The house is beside a placid creek with a view of adjacent mountains and a horse pasture across the creek. The house is on a paved road that is well maintained and plowed in the winter.
  • This was our 2nd stay here within the past month. Our first stay was so great, and Steve is so nice and kind, that we came back for another weekend-stay. The second go-round was just as wonderful as the first! We hope to be back soon. Thanks again Steve!

    Joseph2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Steve’s cottage was fantastic. Originally, we had rented an AirBnb in Margaretville, a little ways away, and, unfortunately, the not-so-great-host cancelled due to poor planning on his part. We were stuck, and needed a place to stay, and it was on the later side of a Saturday. Anyways, Steve was so gracious, and allowed us to book past his booking deadline, for 3 days/2 nights, on a holiday weekend, after communicating with AirBnb. We had prior engagements in the surrounding areas, and he basically saved us/our weekend plans. Steve’s home was even better than our fall-through booking. It was spotless, cozy, beautiful...everything we needed, and hoped for, after a long day of working things out. Steve greeted us with the key, showed us around, gave local tips, and was simply quite pleasant to be around. The beds were comfortable, kitchen spotless, bathrooms were spacious and excellent...the views of the river/pasture/horses from the rear of the house were/are spectacular...such a wonderful experience and stay! We plan on booking the next time we are remotely near North Blenheim, and so should you. Thanks Steve!

  • This land was beyond beautiful and the home was cozy and comfortable. I will definitely be returning

    Aly2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay - we loved seeing the animals (we may or may not have taken a few photos with them) and we did a morning run on the trails, which were lovely after the rain the previous day. We arrived too late to use the pond / fire pit, but we saw that everything was ready for us to do so. Everything was clean and well-prepared. I'd highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling in the area.

    Alan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The property was beautiful, the home exceptional. It’s a farmhouse with all you need and more!

    Luriye2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • An exceptionally wonderful country farm experience, especially for those traveling with four footed, kitty friendly, fur babies or children that love animals. The accommodations are spotless, warm, and inviting with views out of a serenity video. The endless entertainment provided by the three adult and three kitten barn kitty was too cute for words. They were happy to keep their distant but loved the human and lab attention when offered, and of course we indulged both them and ourselves. This experience is perfect when paired with a beautiful sunset, wine, and a picnic of local fair. No need to look no further than the fridge with farm fresh, no preservative love provided by Masha. We enjoy two visits to the pond, perfect for labs that love to swim. The camp setting near the pond is so perfect and is another great option for snacks and refreshments. Our short stay prevented us from exploring with other trails available on the property but we can’t wait to come back and explore more. It may be a bit cliche but we can’t say enough about our short, refreshing stay except we hope to be back again soon.

    Lisa2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Marsha and Vinny’s place was a home away from home. A clean open aired space filled with books, flowers, and most importantly happy animals. We loved waking up and looking out our window to the wide open pasture. Every once in a while getting a glimpse of the horses, cows, donkeys, and goats. It really felt like “a simpler time”. They gave us a menu of fresh farmed meat to pick from and stocked the refrigerator for us. We went to the pond which you can drive or walk to and there was fresh water in a cooler and flowers on the picnic table not to mention an awesome tentr. It was a really special trip and i learned so much during the farm tour. It’s a discrete rarity to find people so kind so in touch with the land and I’m so grateful to have met this family and that they shared their beautiful home with us. To top it all off. We went home with one of the new kittens the barn cat had. Her name is angel and she’s sleeping in a basket in our nyc apt. Ok i have to stop but the memories are as warm as the fire that we burnt in the back yard where we ate marshmallows on a stick. Basically i wish i was still there :);):)

Beautifully renovated and spacious 4-bedroom/ 2-bath farmhouse, in peaceful rural location far from NYC. Fully furnished, including new bedding, fully equipped modern kitchen with new gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator, wood stove, 5 acres backing on 10,000-acre state forest with endless trails to hike.
Our newly restored 1882 farmhouse is the ultimate rural retreat, backing on a 10,000-acre state forest with more than 200 miles of hiking and snowmobile trails. Quiet, cozy-yet-sophisticated design, the perfect writer's retreat or family getaway. We're writers who bought and restored this property 10 years ago in our quest for a quiet weekend retreat. This is the ultimate retreat, with sightings of red fox, black bears and deer, and hummingbirds feeding in the extensive rose and herb gardens. The modern kitchen overlooks the state preserve and is equipped with cutlery and service for 8, stainless steel appliances, cookware, and 15-feet of fabulous local bluestone countertops. We have central heat and a cozy wood stove - with cords of seasoned firewood stacked outside for you to use. There are three airy bedrooms with queen beds in each, and one small child's bedroom with a single bed. Sheets and towels are included. Two large bathrooms with spacious showers, a large deck with a new propane grill, picnic table and chairs, and in warm weather, a fabulous sleeping porch with two couches/twin beds. Our guests love to sleep out here and watch the fireflies! Our five acres are surrounded on two sides by the Burnt-Rossman State Forest Preserve, which includes almost 200 miles of snowmobile/horseback/hiking trails. Please note this is a remote location. The closest supermarket is a Price Chopper 15 miles away in the village of Cobleskill (We suggest that you stock up on groceries at the Price Chopper in Cobleskill!). ** We are a ONE HOUR drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and 45 minutes from the Field of Dreams baseball camp. If you choose to stay with us, kindly acknowledge that you will be driving two hours round trip to Cooperstown and we thank you for NOT giving us a lower score for our location. If proximity to Cooperstown is important to you, please DO NOT book our five-star home and penalize us! ** We are very close to the SUNY Cobleskill campus -- about 15 minutes down our hill -- and most of our neighbors work at the college. Our house is a great base for conference guests and close to the Blenheim Farms, a popular wedding destination! Guests have full access to all areas of the house. We do have a brand new washer/dryer in the basement. Prior to check-in we will give you a code to open the keyless locks on our doors. We will not be at the property during your stay but you can reach us at any hour by text, email or cell and we do have a wonderful handyman in case of an emergency. You'll love the quiet! We love to hike past the miles of old stone walls that mark the many apple orchards that flourished here over the past 200 years. We do have neighbors with horses and we love the occasional whinny, or the sight of riders outnumbering cars on the road in front of the house. Our neighbor thanks you in advance for not disturbing her horses or venturing on to her property. There are several lakes in the area that are perfect for kayaking. You must have a car to reach our home. This is a house for nature lovers, family or friend get-togethers, and people who want to escape the noise of the city! Keep in mind we picked this location for the solitude and distance from civilization! We do have a coffee maker and grinder and we'll leave you fresh roasted Columbian beans from Fairway. We like to cook, so there are plenty of pots and pans, a Cuisinart, a big mixer and an ice cream maker. We recently renovated the kitchen, which has a dishwasher, gas oven and stove, and large fridge. (It also has a really nice window seat that overlooks a beautiful old apple tree.) We are willing to negotiate a lower rate for a lease of longer than one month.
  • The house is lovely and had everything we needed for a family thanksgiving. The location is very rural but it was just what we wanted for some away-from-the-city quiet. Check in and check out were very easy and we had no issues at all.

  • Marty is a fantastic host. The description is accurate and while we knew what to expect, our stay was even better. We were looking for something “in the middle of nowhere” and this home was just what we wanted. Don’t expect a 7 Eleven at the corner. It is a quiet area next to a forest. And Marty’s home is delightful.

The historic Mill Pond Inn was built in 1879 by the Mann Brothers, who ran a grain and sawmill. When David and Joan purchased the property in 2017, it had been abandoned for twenty-two years, but retained many of its original details. Today, the house features five rooms with private baths, a relaxing front porch, and a large back deck with stunning views of the mill pond. An event space for parties of up to 100, with additional space in the bar, are also available.
The house sits on 25 acres of scenic woodland. Guests can cross over the wooden bridge, past the waterfall, and to the nature trail, which winds around the pond and along the stream. The area is home to frogs, beavers, and many birds: herons, egrets, wood ducks, mallards, kingfishers, and others.
Jefferson is a one of-a kind rural community, with a village green, many original buildings along Main Street, and eateries—Buck Hill Farm, The Breakfast Club, and The Heartbreak Hotel—that attract patrons from a wide area. In summer, the active Historical Society presents free concerts in the magnificent Maple Museum.

Charming 1890's country home nestled in quaint rural village in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. We are 8 minutes from the beautiful Blenheim Hill Farm; 14 minutes from Minekill State Park; 18 minutes from New York Safety Track; one hour away from Albany and Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame); and 3.5 hours from NYC. Antiques shops close by. The Cottage Suite makes a comfy getaway and place to relax.
The Cottage Suite was newly renovated in 2017 with a hint of a cottage experience. Our extended family reunions have always been at 'the cottage' in Canada - so our decor resembles those fond 'cottage-type' memories. This suite has 2 separate bedrooms, both with a queen size bed and smart or roku tv. One of the bedrooms includes the fridge; coffee maker; a bar sink and the newly tiled bathroom with walk-in shower.
On Saturdays through the summer, the town has opened up the 'Maple Museum' for a local 'Farmer's Market'. Come and enjoy. They also put on a free to the public, Summer Concerts every Sunday afternoon at 2pm. You will appreciate the small village atmosphere as you stroll through the village. We are in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains surrounded by rolling hills and country roads.

  • Lesley's "cottage suite" was absolutely beautiful! It's definitely one of the coziest and cleanest airbnb's I've ever stayed in. Lesley clearly takes pride in making sure her rooms are immaculate and I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door. Lesley and her husband Bob greeted me upon my arrival and showed me up to the room. They are both warm, friendly, and welcoming. The natural light in the room is gorgeous and the bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is fantastic as well! Overall, Lesley's space went above and beyond my expectations and I'm already looking forward to my next stay there. It's the perfect place for a tranquil weekend getaway from NYC!

Leave the hectic pace of daily life behind and spend time in the beauty of the Catskills. Let nature clear your mind and soothe your soul. Our peaceful chalet, built in 1968, is situated on 4 acres, only 15 minutes from Blenheim Hill Farm, and is less than 5 miles from a grocery store, wine store, restaurants, ice cream shop, golf course, seasonal public pool, hardware store, and many other necessities. We fell in love with this property and we want everyone to experience what we do.
The chalet is split into three levels. (It's a large place, and we respectfully charge a little extra per person for large groups in order to properly compensate our cleaner.) You will enter on the bottom level where you’ll see the dining room & kitchen with updated electric range/stove, fridge, microwave oven, toaster oven, as well as an older model food processor & blender. There is also an artist/work space (sometimes we hold sewing retreats here) on this level as well as a giant bathroom with tub, tiled shower, new washer/dryer and toilet. Toilet, laundry area and tub/sink/shower areas are separated by doors to allow multiple users (with privacy). Then up 4 or 5 stairs you’ll see the great room, which really is truly great! It has giant windows, beautiful high ceilings with exposed beams, and at the largest comfiest couch this side of the Hudson river. It also has a sliding glass door out into the backyard. For TV we use a large screen and projector with a Roku device that has netflix and other internet based entertainment. There are many books and plenty of places to sit and read. Peace and quiet abound. Up 3 or 4 more steps and you’ll be in the sleeping quarters. All of the four bedrooms still have original real wood paneling, but are furnished to add color and light, as you’ll see in the photos. The bathroom upstairs is small but efficient & has a small sink, toilet & tub/shower combination. We recently installed an outdoor shower which is really nice in the warmer months. Please note: Small children are more than welcome to stay here, however the house is not in any way child proofed and there are no cribs or places for small babies to sleep.
Close to many hiking & biking trails, lakes, rivers and reservoirs for fishing, kayaking, swimming and tubing. Also close to ski resorts, wedding venues & golf courses. 4 miles to Stamford, NY 9 miles to the New York Safety Track 9 miles to Blenheim Hill Farm 20 miles to Delhi, NY 22 miles to Oneonta, NY 27 miles to Wyndham Ski Resort 31 miles to Cooperstown, NY 33 miles to Hunter Mountain 63 miles to Albany Airport 159 miles to NYC
  • I have no words to describe this air BNB. From the cute sewing wall, to the cozy AF beds and the cozy living room, we have made a million memories that I have made! The beds were SO COMFY - it was hard for me to go back to the bed I own at home

  • Perfect space for a friend-group getaway. The decor is charming: quirky, cozy, and warm. The kitchen is robust and fully stocked with tools, and there’s plenty of space to be all together — and plenty of space to split up into ones and twos. Megan and Adam are responsive and hospitable. Strong recommend!

  • Overall an outstanding stay, the pictures are exactly what you see and then some. Very cozy cabin style home, the projector and fire place were great to use. Location was ideal between all three major mountains we went to. Great hospitality and communication, their were only 4 of us, but great place for larger groups! Very spacious and accommodating!

  • The chalet was a fantastic getaway from the city for the holidays. The house is exactly as advertised—cozy, but with plenty of space for a group and a fantastic couch. We loved the projector, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. The heat worked well for our winter stay too. Highly recommend!

  • Megan's house is absolutely fantastic if you're looking for a cozy getaway in the middle of nowhere. The vintage touches are cute. The living room with gigantic couch is truly amazing for a lazy afternoon or late-night hangs. The kitchen has all the amenities you'd need & the bedrooms are super comfy and cozy. Perfect cabin in the woods.

  • Super comfy spot, secluded and chill. Great for getting off the grid.

45 min drive to Dreams Park & All Star Village -- get more space ON A LAKE and make the most of your trip!!! Leaf Peepers - Come and check out the Catskills (good fishing and birding too)!!! Four Season House - consider some time at the lake this Fall and Winter.
Lago House is situated on picturesque Titus Lake, a 90-acre fresh water lake in the Catskill Mountains. At 2,000 feet above sea-level the crisp mountain air is refreshing. The two acre property is half wooded ensuring that feeling of escape. The bi-level deck affords wonderful views of the lake, outside dining, sunbathing, and a sheltered four person hot tub. The 210 feet of frontage offers a beach, walkout lake access, and a dock to launch a boat (2-rowboats provided), or to take a dip. The fire pit is located close to the lake, perfect for a sunset bonfire or an evening marshmallow roast.
  • Beautiful home with gorgeous lake views, plenty of space, a great hot tub for after a long day of skiing, two large couches to hang out on, plenty of bathrooms, and a nice long dinner table for everyone to gather around. Troy is a great host, very communicative and quick to respond. All in all we had a fantastic time, highly recommend, and would love to come back and visit again soon!

    Deirdre2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Lago House. The location is gorgeous with tons of indoor and outdoor space. The neighbors are also very friendly along our walks around the lake. The place was clean, everything worked, and Troy was very easy to communicate with. They even plowed the driveway for us so we didn't get snowed in.

    Jamie2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • this was our 3rd or maybe even 4th time at the Lago House. The house is much bigger then it seems and there is plenty of room for everyone. 1 big feature that most don't realize is the size of the dinning room table. other houses that we stayed in have a dinning room table suitable for 4 maybe 5 people, if that's the amount of people on your trip and your fine. The Lago House Dinning Room Table Is 8 Feet Long and can seat 10+ People Comfortably. the back yard is huge and the lake is amazing in the summer as well as in the winter. book the house, you wont regret it.

  • We had a lovely quick getaway at the cabin. It was cozy and comfortable. We spent the majority of our time staked out in front of the glorious large picture window watching the ice slowly melt on the lake. The house is also only a 15 minute drive to West Kill Falls, where we were able to hike for a couple of hours. It was a wonderful trip and we'd love to return when we can get out on the lake!

  • One of my best AirBnb experiences. The house was even better then the pictures on the site. Everything was beautiful and plenty of useful cooking appliances to cook nice meals. The wood burning stove was a nice added touch. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning for future visits.

    Robert2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house was really nice, and spacious, and very clean. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided for by Isobella and Pierre. The deck and backyard were particularly great to wind down with few drinks after a fun day of riding. We will definitely be coming back!

    James2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Isobella's home is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I drove up from NYC with our dog to celebrate our ten-year wedding anniversary, and spent a week in this lovely home. We brought a lot of groceries and cooked most of our meals, and found the kitchen incredibly well-appointed, with lovely dishes, great tools, and plenty of space to spread out. We found thoughtful details everywhere, from oil and coffee in the pantry to soap, shampoo, and body wash in the bathrooms - there was even a bottle of rose chilling for us to enjoy when we arrived! Beds were very comfortable, the deck was amazing, and we really enjoyed having multiple spaces to read, play games, and relax. The house features three upstairs bedrooms with a half bath, and a full bathroom downstairs with a great shower and multiple sinks. The main space has a huge kitchen and living area, with another cozier room with a big television (no cable or apps, FYI), and a small library with board games and comfy chairs. We ended up being grateful for the laundry since we did some running and hiking, and our dog loved the big backyard. Wifi worked incredibly well and while our Verizon cell phones didn't get much service, we were grateful that it allowed us to unplug. Isobella's communication before we arrived was wonderful, and while she was traveling during our trip, Pierre met us when we arrived and was the main contact for our stay. With limited cell service we didn't always get the quickest responses, but rarely needed anything and were happy to enjoy the quiet. Overall, the house was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful, and felt like an incredibly good value. After the first night we were already talking about when we could come again. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

  • Absolutely stay here if you're visiting the area! Lesley is a wonderful, thoughtful host and so accommodating. My family stayed at her place and they said it was perfect for their weekend visit. Would highly recommend!

  • My wife and 14-month old daughter and I stayed here to attend a weekend of events at Blenheim Hill Farm, and Seven Ponds Farm. This property was perfectly located less than 10min from Blenheim Farm and less than 20min from Seven Ponds Farm. Rooms were both recently renovated, nicely designed and comfortable. Also nice to be a short 2min walk to a breakfast spot and bar/grill in town. Buck Hill Farm 0.5 mile away is was also a highlight for weekend breakfast. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

    Patrick2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I stayed at Wind in the Willow's while in Jefferson for a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm, which was about a 10 minute drive away. The room was decorated nicely, was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had a king-sized bed which we greatly appreciated after a 4+ hour drive. It had bottled water, coffee pods, and delicious muffins which held us over before we had dinner at the wedding and then breakfast the next morning at The Breakfast Club (recommended by Lesley & her husband -- it was delicious). There were a few other restaurants, bars, and a gas station in the area so there seems to be a convenient area to stay if you're there for several days. I recommend staying at Lesley's place!

    Jessi2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for just a night at Lesley's place but found it comfortable and accommodating. Lesley allowed us to check in early—which was fast and easy. The room has a Keurig machine for morning coffee, and has a large, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Towels and shampoo were provided. Highly recommend breakfast at the Breakfast Club a few blocks away!

    Ben2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful home and room filled with amazing artwork. Lesley’s home was incredible and it was even better than we could have imagined. Lesley and her husband were there on the porch to greet us and welcome us in to their home. We had a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farms and it was less than a 10 min drive away making it so easy to get to and from. We would highly recommend this!

    Michelle2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Wind In The Willows for a nearby wedding and were really happy with our choice. Lesley and her husband welcomed us warmly upon arrival. Our room was large w a very comfy king bed and private bathroom with a good shower. The decor is country comfortable w lots of artwork by Lesley’s Dad, who illustrated book covers and advertising. It made for a truly unique and personal stay. The Breakfast Club is a short walk and makes a fantastic breakfast.

    Julia2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Wind in the Willows was so charming. Lesley went above and beyond making us feel at home, and the little touches throughout the room were appreciated. Great location just a few doors down from the best breakfast spot in Jefferson.

Sunny Catskill mountain creekside retreat for folks who love to cook, meet the farmers who grow their dinner, hike, savor local spirits & read beside a fire. Please note: due to Covid-19, we are devoting extra attention to disinfecting frequently touched surfaces between stays.
Looking for air conditioning, ironed sheets, fast food and great shopping? Don't come. If you prefer to snuggle under an organic wool comforter while sipping mountain air from an open window; skinny dipping in a local swimming hole; staying in to cook after buying your ingredients from the farmer who grew them...If you like to read beside a fire, consider how a cricket's song changes with the temperature, or sip your morning coffee while dipping your toes into a mountain stream...If you would use your holiday time to ponder life's big questions, maybe with a few strangers-turned-friends; and if you prefer to tell your office mates that there's no cell service where you're going, we've got your dream vacation. Your holiday home is the second floor of the heartbeat of our little community, just above our post office and the Sap Bush Hollow Farm-To-Table Cafe, Farm Store & Espresso bar, open year round Saturdays 9-12, and Sat-Sun 9-1 for July and August. (Sorry. We can't stay open all week, 'cuz we're out skinny dipping in those swimming holes, too. But if we hear you coming, we'll get dressed and act nonchalant. Promise.) If you're into eating seasonally, this is great town to take advantage of the harvest. Sap Bush Hollow sells beef, lamb, pork, homemade sausages & bacon and poultry to bring home for your freezer. And you can buy tomatoes, cukes and all kinds of fruits and vegetables for canning, freezing & pickling just down the road. Coming in winter? We can point you to the best places in our vast network of state land to snowshoe or x-c ski. You'll have to drive about an hour if you're looking for downhill skiing. This is a great place to watch winter sunrises, or to behold the under-appreciated pleasures of mud season (no one's around. It's quiet. Frost on mud makes cool patterns....We could go on for hours about this.) The 3 bedroom 1400 sq ft apartment has a large eat-in kitchen/dining living room area, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, and a private back porch overlooking Panther Creek. We're serious cooks, so we've made sure your kitchen is equipped well.(Don't you hate vacation rentals with dull knives and no coffee grinder??). And when it comes to a good nights' rest, we've got you covered. Literally. The comforters, and blankets are made from our own fleeces, and the pillows are, too! Please note: Guests are asked to sign a contract agreeing to the house rules as they are posted in this listing upon making a reservation.
Welcome to West Fulton, a northern Catskill mountain hamlet where your neighbors care more about the freshness of their sweet corn than they do about cars and fashion. Come here for the quiet, the creeks, the swimming holes, the hills, the hiking and the farms. Nearest grocery store can be found in Cobleskill, 15 min. drive from your pad. There's also a movie theater, pottery studio and restaurants there...Also great restaurants and beer tasting room the other direction in Middleburgh, just 15 minutes in the other direction. We are 50 minutes from Cooperstown, and 20 minutes from Sharon Springs. The beautiful Hudson Valley is a stunning 1 hour drive, and Albany is 45 minutes away. Cobleskill Fairgrounds: 9.2 miles, 19 min. Windham Mountain Ski Center: 47 minute drive Hunter Mountain Ski Center: 51 minute drive Blenheim Hill Farm is 14 miles away, about 25-30 minute drive. Howe Caverns is 15.1 miles away, about 25-30 minute drive.
  • This place has it all- an absolutely cozy feel, lots of special touches like farm fresh eggs in the kitchen and amazing wool blankets, and it's near many nice hiking trails. It was the perfect place to relax, cook, unwind and have fun outdoors. I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

  • This was one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at, and for the price, definitely the best value. The space is very beautiful and very spacious. The amenities are extensive; there was nothing missing. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the interior; I am sensitive to good lighting and the lighting is very nicely designed. You will not be disappointed by staying in this wonderful spot!

  • West Fulton is a hidden gem. The stuff you find in storybooks, really. And we had the most wonderful experience— made possible by Shannon and her lovely family—A hearty meal at the coolest cafe downstairs, amazing hospitality and the dreamiest stay in the apartment upstairs. The apartment was cozy, homey, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more. Our whole stay dreamy- From sitting by the living room wood stove, to standing out on the deck to take in the view of the running creek. What a sweet sweet place...

Our unplugged cottage really is a peaceful place on earth, we created this space for us to retreat to when we need a place to create anything, we Hike our worries away, we find our thoughts. We write, paint and read . mostly we reconnect with Ourselves and each other. I generally use this as a studio. We have weekend classes here and peaceful seminars. We love our neighbors and enjoy having them please see pictures, I also included pictures around the area as well.
Our cottage is a great little get away, it really is luxury camping, I say this because we have no wi-if, no tv,not much cell service, we have added a DVD player with movies. You are welcome to use ours or bring your own. ,we have a lot of wonderful out door space, take walks, hikes, there is a creek right across the street, we swim, play in the water, walk the river,we read, we paint, we cook out side. We watch stars, and me usually make things. We enjoy nature and each other's company. The neighbors are amazing, we have two horses that keep watch over our place, we have two very old cats that live in the old house across the street that is empty.and a few funny crows. Most of all we spend the days out and about and sleep really well. We are 30 minutes from Cooperstown ,25 minutes to Oneonta and 25 minutes to Cobleskill , we have a Distillery down the road about 5 miles, a sweet museum in Charlotteville, and there is usually a firehouse breakfast, or BBQ chicken dinner or some kind of festival close by, old cars, winery, Breweries. You can always find something to do no matter what the weather or time of year. Ask for the best morning meditation spots, and early evening ones as well.
We are close to Cooperstown ,Oneonta,Cobleskill , we have a few Breweries distilleries in wineries. Fennimore art museum farmers museum baseball Hall of Fame,Albany is one hour away. And of course peace and quiet. The Best sun sets, and glorious sun rises. The sound of the rushing creek is a wonderful background for the singing birds.
  • Alice was the sweetest host and extremely helpful the entire time. Check in was super easy and they accommodated us at the last minute. The house was exactly as described and we had a very pleasant stay. Very peaceful and serene stay to unwind and get away from the city for a weekend. Would definitely return in the summer to check out the hiking and activities nearby. There definitely isn’t any cell service at all or WiFi so come prepared for that although the house is well equipped with games and books and dvds. We didn’t have anything mapped out beforehand so it was a bit difficult to navigate around town. We kind of just winged it but it worked out Alice was really helpful with directions when we needed them though. Great stay thanks Alice!

  • The house is decorated very nice, everything is there for what you may need!

  • Alice is a thoughtful host and her home is peaceful and nestled in an idyllic setting.

    Sam2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Loved everything about Alice's place. It was so clean, comfortable. Wonderful natural sites all around. We frequently came across deer and turkey in the backyard.

    James2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Alice’s home in Charlotteville is very unique, with lots of thought and character in each room. Her communication is great and her place is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the bucolic surroundings of the Cooperstown area.

    Dan2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful! As long as you understand what you're getting, you're going to love everything about this place! Read the listing description, and you'll know what to expect. We used it as a home base for Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend at Cooperstown, and it was fantastic for that. Alice was a great host - available but not overbearing - and met us in Cooperstown for a quick orientation of the area. The weather was hot while we were there, and with no A/C the upstairs got a bit warm at night, but there were several fans that helped. The main floor stayed comfortable. Keep in mind: This is not a downtown brand new hotel. It's an older house and it's rural. This means the floors have some slopes to them, the wifi & cell reception are spotty, and you're a bit of a drive from anything of consequence. If you view these aspects as features instead of flaws, you're going to have a fantastic time enjoying this cabin!

    Ryan2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful, quiet, beautifully appointed house. I was surpeised how clean and relatively bug free it was for a country home. It was also so quiet at night, really a super charming place. We will come again!

  • I love Alice’s cottage. So cute. We’ve been here numerous times and we’ll be back again.

  • Had a great weekend here. Aree was a fantastic host.

    Brennan2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We have now stayed here a second time and loved it just as much as the first.

    John2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had the most incredible weekend at Aree’s cabin. It’s secluded enough that it’s the perfect place to disconnect and recenter, but also conveniently located to everything you need (grocery store, farmer’s stand, Walgreen’s, liquor store) plus a few extra luxuries (if you’re a meat eater don’t miss out on a trip to Solinski’s!) Aree was a great host. He gave us great recommendations of things to do in the area and was available when we needed him to resupply us with candles. We will definitely be back!

    Caitlin2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great off the grid spot.

  • Everything about this place is fantastic. Wonderful little house with everything you will need to unplug. A+

    Gaby2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Aree's cute cabin. It was everything we were looking for to get away from the big city. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful land around the cabin and seeing deer and turkeys, and finding wild raspberries!

    Lauren2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Aree was a great, helpful host and Summerhaven was beautiful, rustic, and comfortable. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful stay then this is the place for you! The town is also very close by and has lots of great restaurants.

  • A truly magic location. Peaceful, quiet and great energy. Perfect place to escape and recharge.

    James2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Succurro. The farm was breath taking and vast for endless exploring. The tree swing and animals were a big hit with our daughter. We really appreciated the farm fresh eggs, milk and coffee. The entire home was cozy and perfect for relaxing. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time. Thank you!!

    Sylvia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Most magical place in NYC! We are definitely coming back soon.

    Ariel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Succurro was an absolute dream escape from hectic NYC. The farm is beautiful, private, secluded and a perfect place to relax and unwind, take serene walks, and (if you’re so inclined) discover the lovely playful nature of goats and pigs. The apartment is roomy and spacious but super cozy and comfortable, Allie and Damien were wonderful hosts, and the farm fresh eggs and goats milk in the fridge upon arrival were a thoughtful touch that made for delicious breakfasts. While perfectly secluded, the farm is also a short drive to the lovely town of Delhi, which is super quaint but nevertheless packed with gems – among many others, the fantastic Blue Bee cafe, locally sources whole foods grocer Good Cheap Food, & Dixie’s liquor store which has an amazing selection rivaling “the big city”. For those looking for a bit more selection, the city of Oneonta is similarly nearby. I had a fantastic stay at Succurro – I would recommend unreservedly it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing get-away, and I’m looking forward to returning!

    Ayda2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Succurro was so great I extended my stay! And I’ll definitely be back!

    Ayda2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this lovely escape from the city. Damien and Allie were terrific hosts (we did not get the chance to meet Owyn) and encouraged us roam the property, visit their animals, and even let my daughters hold their baby goats, so cute! The space was impeccably clean and the fresh eggs and goat milk were a wonderful touch. We'll be back!

    Myryah2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time ay Owyn's place, and it was just as great as the first time!

    Alex2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Succurro Farm is beautiful and peaceful, and has many thoughtful touches! The apartment was clean. There was a welcome book with all the info you need. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway!

A nice room with a private bath.. I am posting this a room for 1 person... It has a very nice posturepedic single bed most of the time but I can put in a full size bed as well so 2 persons can stay for 5 bucks more... If you like old historical houses this is interesting because this room is one of the oldest operating hotel rooms in America.... The building is most likely late 18 century but was built as an Inn, not a house so this is a historical hotel room
This is an interesting old building and it was built as a hotel.. It feels like a mix between a very old house and a hotel, and the hotel part makes it comfortable and easy to stay at....The private bath is very nice
Oneonta new york is a great small city
  • I've now stayed at Bill's Davenport Inn about three or four times and it is consistently one of the best air B&B places I have been to.

    James2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • super comfortable bed. simple clean & private. responsive.

    LeonaMae2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • I like everything about the Davenport Inn. I would have given it six stars if it were possible. It's just a great place: comfortable, an excellent price, only about 20 minutes from Oneonta.

    James2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for my one night stay. Cute and charming room and Bill accommodated my last minute reservation with quick responses.

    Stephanie2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Just what I was looking for; convenient location for my travel, cool historic building, no fuss check in and out.

    Jarrod2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This spot works for easy/affordable access to track if camping isn’t an option. Works! I’ll be back in the future.

    Tyler2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a nice guy. The place was exactly what I needed and I felt very comfortable.

    Charles2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bill was extremely responsive and accommodating, both for me and for my motorcycle! The inn, as advertised, is basic and genuinely rustic, but if you like that, as I do, you will enjoy your stay. Access to the kitchen was key as there is only one local dining option. Also, the laundry facilities were a great plus. And NYST is literally a five minute ride away, if that's why you're in the area.

  • This cabin is perfect. It is so cozy and so quiet. Definitely the best place to visit when you need some peace and tranquility.

    Jess2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a great time in the cabin. It’s a beautiful space and the wood stove is amazing! We went on a nice walk in the surrounding woods and the next day hiked at Mine Kill State Park- highly recommend!

  • Great getaway log cabin. My girlfriend and I were able to get away from the city and relax at this peaceful property. The outside fireplace was amazing. If you’re lucky you’ll see some deer and other wildlife.

    Jon2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is beautiful and cozy. A great get away from the city. Has everything you need.

    Jess2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is very cozy and immediately makes you feel at home. A bit spooky at night but totally worth it. There's even a dog bed and food dishes for your pup. Beautiful scenery and the perfect getaway.

    Pat2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cozy and really gives you the cabin feels with all the finishing touches and decor. It's super fun to stay at with a loft and it's pet friendly (so thank you for loving dogs). It's clean and comfortable. It's a little remote so you are kind of out in the woods by yourself however it is so incredibly peaceful. It's not far from Cooperstown and the drive from the cabin to Cooperstown is very scenic. Michael is super responsive and organized and honestly made our stay smooth. I could not ask for a better experience with my first Air BnB so thank you Michael! I would highly recommend this place!

  • We were so impressed with David and Joan's BNB. It was meticulously appointed, comfortable and an absolute gem of a place. As with any new property on AirBNB, we weren't sure what to expect given the lack of reviews, however, it is safe to say that this location exceeded our expectations. We spent another night at a more established but similar Inn in the area and found this location to be far better. Breakfast included fresh fruit, coffee and a selection of bread. The hosts were very friendly and hosted a wine and cheese happy hour. We will definitely stay again!

    Callum2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • David was super responsive and very friendly. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, as we were just passing through. The home is an amazing restoration from an original building for the 1870s. Has a lot of character and a quiet and beautiful setting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and would recommend the place to anyone in the area.

    Ross2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • There are few places that can compare to the Mill Pond Inn. The hosts have undertaken a huge project in restoring this grand antique inn, and their work is fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the interior renovation. Each bedroom is elegant, with the emphasis on quiet privacy. Every bedroom has a private bathroom.

  • What a gem! Stayed with a group of three couples for NYE, and we could not have been more impressed. The house is even better than it looks in the photos. It was SO cozy, stylish, clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed, and then some. The kitchen especially was extremely well equipped and spacious. We all had a blast making use of the karaoke machine, ping-pong table and hot tub. Each bedroom having a king bed and being on separate floors with separate bathrooms was a huge plus. To top it off, Megan and Gabe are the best hosts! Had a chance to meet them and their adorable dog at check-in, and they thoughtfully gave us a little welcome tour and helpful local tips. Communicating with them before, throughout and after our stay was very smooth and seamless. All in all, this house and these hosts are awesome. Can’t recommend this house enough for a fun and relaxing upstate getaway.

    Gina2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Megan's house was a perfect place to stay for a wedding at Blenheim Farm. The home was really comfortable when it was just four of us and when all the bedrooms were full it was still spacious. The leaves were beautiful and the views out the windows were spectacular. The pantry had all the little things you would need and there were plenty of board games for a rainy day.

    Paul2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful hidden gem!!!

    Andrea2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • The beautifully restored barn provided a perfect retreat for the family of the groom! We woke up to deer in the yard and relaxed before going to bed in the hot tub gazing at the stars. We will have to return when we have more time to enjoy all of the amenities that have been so thoughtfully provided.

    Kayce2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cannot express how great this place is. Our party of 10 was able to fit nicely, everything was clean, and the hosts are so welcoming. Not to mention the amenities, which all of our guests could not stop raving about. The hosts are beyond responsive- and frankly this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Also- for the wedding venue people out there- less than 5 minutes from Blenheim Hill Farm

    Erica2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a magical place! Megan and Gabe's converted barn is one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. It is spacious and stylishly decorated. It is also outfitted with absolutely everything you could desire for a weekend away in the Catskills, from games to grills to hot tubs to fire pits. Megan and Gabe were also incredible hosts. Upon arrival, they showed us around the property. Over the weekend, they were also immediately responsive to any questions we had. It was truly a dream weekend for a large group of 30something friends. Can't recommend it enough!
