Or just lie back and take it easy. Check out our Table on Ten Guidebook for area recommendations (link above the map). Taking into account potential allergies, the absence of fencing, livestock on adjoining farms and the cheerful variety of woodland creatures sniffing about, we cannot accept pets. Or you can just stay close and enjoy life on the hill, as well as in and around Table on Ten and its friends.
  • After four wonderful days in this amazing studio in the woods, we felt revitalized and calmer at the same time. Loads of beauty in every direction, a true respite to return to each evening and a delightful night sky combine to make this stay one to remember.

  • The space and location is absolutely beautiful. Very clean, modern but cozy. Even The wood stove was super clean which made it easy to use! Berkey Water filter was a nice touch!

  • Stylish, comfy & clean. The perfect winter getaway!

  • Loved our stay at the Studio over Presidents' Day Weekend. The space was cozy, beautifully decorated and clean. The surrounding area was really peaceful and allowed for a true getaway from the city. Pizza at Table on Ten is a must! We also booked bodywork with Vicky who was great. Highly recommend!

  • This place was quiet, beautiful and cosy. A perfect city escape. The hosts were generous and thoughtful. I lit a fire and enjoyed the views. Then walked and cooked. It was perfect!

  • This is a great spot. Clean, beautiful space with an exquisite view. The studio is well appointed and comfortable. Communication was excellent. Some smaller logs, or an axe to split logs would really help in fire-making. Also, for guest with kids, you should be aware that the second bedroom is in a lofted space above the kitchen/living room. If you have a child that naps/goes to be earlier than you do, this isn't the rental for you. We didn't realize this and so we spend all of our "adult" time in near silence with the lights dimmed. Otherwise, wonderful place.

    Rachel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We feel so lucky to have spent a couple days in the studio. It was a retreat to nature that allowed us to relax, talk to each other, read to each other, and restore. Table on 10 was incredible. Do not miss it. The spicy honey and fennel sausage pizzas were out of this world. We woke up to snow on the branches and it could not have been more beautiful looking out the large windows at the valley covered in snow. 10/10.

    Willis2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The space is beautiful, and cozy. We loved our stay. Parking near the space during a snow storm was very helpful so we didn’t have to walk much. Inez responded quickly to any question we had. It is far from most things we were doing during our weekend but that’s what you get when you stay in a rural place so we didn’t mind. The wood burning stove really heated the space so we were cozy all night long. Definitely suggest folks check out Hudson, it’s worth the drive.

  • If you're looking for a relaxing time and easy access to a number of spots in Upstate, I highly recommend staying at Table on Ten. The food was delicious, and the attic space was really great. The books and records are a nice touch, and there were definitely a few in there I took the liberty of listening to and reading. Thanks again for the nice weekend, hope to come back soon!

  • We had a blast! This was our second visit to the Attic. The bed is heavenly and you can’t beat running downstairs for incredible pizza and wine.

    Astrid2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing and very much worth the trip. Amazing food, incredibly cool room, and in a beautiful pocket of the Catskills. Order the mushroom pie for dinner, and the white eggs skillet for breakfast. Don't forget the pie and the cookies!

    Jack2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay upstate. The room is beautiful - records, puzzles and spacious vibe made it a super relaxing getaway. Go during the weekend to try to amazing pizza and brunch downstairs!

    Karen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful space. Very clean and stylish, and with delightful food just a floor away! Feels even more spacious than the pictures look.

    Christian2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Our weekend in the attic was nothing short of magical. We were looking for a romantic getaway where we could relax and enjoy each other’s company, and this was the perfect place to do it. Inez and Val were incredible hosts and checked in with us on our way in because it had begun snowing and they wanted to make sure the restaurant didn’t close before we arrived so we could eat. The food and wine at the table was delicious and body work sessions with Vicky left both of us feeling open, aligned and deeply calm. Definitely look at the guide that Inez provides - we went to Blue Bee, Hollow and Brushland Eating House, each of them phenomenal. Pro tip: bring bubble bath for the luxurious bath tub. You won’t regret. We can’t wait to return!

    Dan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Attic is absolutely stunning. This is our third visit and it is always fantastic.

Our cottage is located in an idyllic mountain setting surrounded by spectacular & breathtaking views. The 7 acre property boasts a serene pond stocked with koi, carp & gold fish that can be viewed from the wrap-around porch. It is conveniently located within close proximity to numerous options for dining and activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, & antiquing at local shops and flea markets. Thyme Cottage is perfect for couples, solo adventurers or anyone looking for tranquility.
Thyme Cottage is a combination of modern and rustic design on a 7 acre property overlooking the mountains. This cottage is ideal for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of nature. It feels very sheltered and private but minutes away from society. Nothing fancy but just a typical comfortable Catskills cottage to unwind from the busy urban dwelling. Built in 1986 and renovated in 2016, this cottage features a bedroom that will accommodate 2 people (full bed), 2nd bedroom that will accommodate 1 person (1 twin bed), a 1.5 bath, and a dining area. There is a pull out sofa in the living room that can be turned into a bed for a smaller guest. Fresh beddings and linens are provided in every room. The bathroom with shower will be provided with fresh towels and some toiletries. Please take note that water source for the cabin is from a well. It will smell like sulfur. This is not chlorinated water like water in the city. While unpleasant, it is NOT harmful to your health. Please bring bottled water for drinking if you think it is an issue for you. Shower and washing dishes should totally be fine. The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, pots and pans, glassware, utensils, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker). This is a self-catering cottage but coffee and tea will be provided. Also, there are books, playing cards, game boards, acoustic guitar and a hammock for everyone to enjoy. Please no smoking in the house or the porch area. Smoking is permitted in the picnic table by the front yard. The cottage has amazing views of the autumn leaves color and snow-capped mountains in the winter. For the more adventure-seeker who enjoys skiing, hiking and mountain biking, Windham Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Looking Glass Pond, Mine Kill State Park, Vroman's Nose, and Huyck Preserve are minutes away. For barn weddings and events, Blenheim Hill Farm and Olde Tater Barn are few minutes drive.
The cottage is conveniently located just 6 miles away from the charming town of Middleburgh, where you can enjoy a wonderful meal or cup of coffee in between hiking, antiquing or sightseeing, and minutes away from Saugerties, Woodstock, Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Windham Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Vroman's Nose, Howe Cavern, Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown, Heather Ridge Farm in Preston Hollow, and the "Irish Catskills" of East Durham. Also, the cottage is a few minutes drive from Blenheim Hill Farm and Olde Tater Barn for those barn weddings.
  • Hello all! Be prepared for gorgeous views and the opportunity for a little rest and reprieve. We really enjoyed our stay and the place is beautiful. We were especially impressed by the modern updates. I was concerned for a cabin that the floors and ceilings let bugs in but the space was AIR TIGHT! We do recommend packing bottled water in advance. The cabin is serviced by well water and that was an adjustment. Have fun!

    Heather2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend at the cottage. This was by far the best trip we have ever been on. The cottage is gorgeous and in a beautiful location. It was so stylish and clean when we arrived. We did a good amount of the suggestions Raf gave us and they were 100% worth it. We would definitely come back again, I would love to see this place in the summer. Thank you both again for an amazing trip! I definitely would recommend this cottage to my family and friends.

Feeling all at once close to town center and yet completely enveloped in mountaintop thicket, this idyllic perch above Bovina sets the scene for many a cozy adventure - snowshoeing and fireside cider in the winter, hammock swinging and pond dipping in the summer. Set atop Bramley Mountain, Owl's Nest boasts cathedral ceilings, an open first floor for lounging & entertaining, a wood-burning stove and two separate, cozy bedrooms upstairs.
  • Great spot

    William2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED our stay. The location is perfectly secluded and quiet and felt very ‘off the grid’. The property is beautiful and we loved stomping around with our littles being in nature and sledding in the snow. There isn’t too much around which makes it the perfect little getaway. The aesthetics of the space is super comfortable and simple. Such a cozy stay (my kids are already asking to go back!).

    Alexa2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great trip and would certainly go back again. This is one place that is actually as beautiful as the pictures! The cabin is wonderful, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and there are plenty of woods to tromp around. Our kids loved it too! We cook a lot, probably more than most, and could have brought a few more kitchen things from home. That certainly didn't detract from out trip. The style is minimalist throughout which makes for a clean, calm stay. It was a great change of pace.

    Greg2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very pretty place, was very beautiful in the snow.

    Omkar2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is the kind of space that you walk into and immediately wish was your own. It’s a beautiful, rustic, minimalist space with perfect, gorgeous details. This was my second time here and it won’t be my last.

Luxurious wool blankets paired with an off the grid experience. Inside wood stove & custom cedar floors for a perfect private getaway. The Bellfire Tipi is located in the Meeker Hollow - one of the best places for stargazing in NY State. We chose the location very carefully with privacy and tranquility in mind, 500 ft from the parking lot, nestled between a creek, maple trees and wild flower field. This home welcomes guests from all backgrounds. More stories on IG @bellfirefarm
FAQ's: In case of rain - the smoke flaps can be handled and closed over the top of the tipi to ensure that no rain gets in. You will get a short tutorial upon arrival. Camping Shower - there is a camping shower behind the tipi The Outhouse - features a wash station and a composting toilet. There is no electricity at the Tipi - for ambience, candles and camping lanterns are provided. The Bellfire Tipi is an 18ft dream and perfect place for a comfortable and unique getaway. Custom made furniture, wool carpets, cedar floors and handmade decor pieces have been carefully curated to create a space that is meditative, relaxing and practical. There is undeniable magic in sitting around a bonfire inside a Tipi and listening to the stream and each other and waking up to the sounds of the wind and birds singing. There's no doubt that the Sioux Indian created an incredible structure that served as their home year round. We were inspired by their creativity and innovation and took it up a notch to create a space that serves the modern needs as well. Kitchenette includes camping stove, tea kettle, ceramic coffee dripper, mugs, plates, silverware, saucer, pan, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, kitchen utensils, drinking water. Outside the Tipi there is a stone fire pit with seating, a charcoal grill, and an extra wide hammock. The outhouse was designed and built by us with reclaimed barn wood and cedar roofing. It features a composting toilet and wash station and is located about 50 feet from the Tipi.
Roxbury, NY is a charming historical hamlet in the Catskills Mountains. We have one of everything: a breakfast & brunch place (Cassie's Cafe), an art gallery (Roxbury Arts Group), a restaurant (The Public), a modern general store (Roxbury General), a wine store (Roxbury Wine & Spirits) a ski & mountain biking resort (Platekill Mtn), a farmers market (The Round Barn). We warmly recommend all of them. We are located in Delaware County - one of the few places in upsate NY and the Catskills that is still a thriving farming community. The Meeker Hollow has been deemed one of the best spots in NY state for stargazing.
  • This place is as special as it looks. The space feels right for two people, though you could definitely fit four. It's also easy driving distance to some of the better Upstate restaurants I've been to. We went in November, which was cold and required long underwear, but the chiminea fire kept the inside warm.

    Alexander2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The tipi was beautiful! It was fairly cold outside, so we got a fire going (firewood was included in the tipi!), made use of the warm blankets and we were set. The whole experience (tipi, starry night sky, small brook by the tipi) was great!

    Ojas2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it! Planning on coming back earlier in the season next year to avoid cold temperatures that kept us from hiking and hanging outside. The tipi kept us dry and warm, even though it was pouring rain and extremely windy. (The temp did go down into the 30’s so We did bring low temperature sleeping bags) Next time I’m going to bring a more powerful flashlight, it’s pitch black in the woods.

    Ilena2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Celebrating a friends birthday at Mina and Richards tipi was very special. Communication was quick and accurate and the place was very clean. The tipi was warm and inviting and decorated nicely to give it that cozy feel. Sitting in the tipi with rain outside and a fire in the chimera was amazing. Best outhouse we have ever used! Play the drums while you are there as it just goes with the mood. Highly recommend a stay here. You won’t regret it!

    Nancy2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bellfire Farm is simply magical! My husband and I stayed at the tipi for a long weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of the work week; we have found a wonderful place to relax and experience nature. The tipi accommodations were very inviting and the chiminea inside kept us warm overnight. Mina and Richard were so thoughtful as to provide us with BBQ tools and setup as well. We will definitely be coming back to Bellfire Farm and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to “unplug” and “recharge” for a while.

    Jordan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Mina and Rich were impeccable hosts and their tipi space was mind blowing. I cannot WAIT for some of their future experience workshops, while their plans for more camping sites sound truly magical. These are some talented, special people, with incredible land and a really beautifully curated tipi--you will not regret booking with them!!

    Sarah2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was my third visit to Bellfire and already it feels like a second home. Mina and Rich's beautiful landscape and tee pee are just the right formula for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this special retreat. Be ready to disconnect and feel cozy!

    Margaret2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were two older gals looking for an adventure! We got it! Neither of us are campers! We both have physical issue to deal with. But we wanted an adventure! Which we got! But which we were also able to define around our needs/limitations. Rich and Mina were wonderful hosts. They offered us help if we needed it...but most importantly gave us space and privacy! We old gals needed some time to fall all over ourselves! Which we did! Rich gave us wonderful advice for dinner on our first night...which we went to for brunch the next morning! The first night we had some adjustments settling in! Where it I put this? Where did I put that? Then we were snug as a bug and asleep! We both have extremely stressful jobs. We unplugged. We took photos in various nearby towns. Everyone we talked to was so wonderful and friendly! Tuesday evening we were in our non-camping camping element. We sat outside and talked and sipped and talked. For two older gals who didn't have clue about what we were doing...but when we saw the listing we knew we had to do it...instant bucket list...yeah...we came tired and a bit stiff...but it was worth it! thank you!!

**important** Because of the current health crisis we will not be hosting guests in April. Thanks for your interest and hopefully we can reopen soon. Get away from it all in this secluded off-grid cabin. Inspired by traditional lean -tos and modern Swedish design. This minimal space features a wall of windows that makes you feel like you are sleeping in the trees, while staying cozy and dry! Relax, unplug, and listen to the nearby stream, birds, & the rustle of leaves.
Fern valley eco cabin was built and designed by Yona. It is a timber frame structure, made with pine wood. The cabin has no (running water november- april) electricity or WiFi. You are free to access our WIFI by our house, a 5 min walk from the cabin.
20 minutes to Stamford, Hobart and Cobleskill. 45 minutes to Bovina, Cooperstown and Oneonta. Explore the trails, farms and great restaurants of the surrounding Catskills!
  • The cabin was great you get exactly what is shown in the images. The cabin was warm and cozy and the outhouse was clean. When we stayed though it rained the day before and its getting warmer so the pond was over flowing and it was pretty muddy by the bonfire which was okay as long as you had some kind of boots on. Besides that I definitely would want to go back when things are drier. P.S: Their dog going on a morning stroll and hanging out with us as we were getting ready to leave was the best, he genuinely made me want to stay longer.

  • Amazing stay. The cabin was beautiful, plenty warm and cozy. Located in very beautiful private spot. Happily do it again.

  • I can't express enough how much we loved this cozy little cabin! It is designed beautifully with beautiful, peaceful views of the surrounding woods. It stayed super warm, even on the snowy night we spent there. The host greeted us warmly and walked us to the cabin, even though we got there quite late. Can't wait to go back!

    Claire2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing space and made for a very unique and memorable stay. The cabin is tucked away in the woods so we felt like we had complete privacy, even while outside enjoying the fire pit. Our visit was at the end of February, so there was snow on the ground but even so the cabin’s heater worked wonders and kept us warm throughout our stay. Yona and Elan were very welcoming and gracious hosts, greeting us with beers upon our arrival and helping us make sure the heat turned on, etc. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get out of the city!

    David2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful space. Elan was so helpful and attentive; even had warm cookies waiting for us! I’m really looking forward to coming back. Can’t wait to sit by the fire in the summer months, and give the outdoor shower a try! Thanks for everything!

    Lillien2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely magical place to spend time. We went in mid-February for a long weekend -- although we were excited, we were admittedly a bit worried that we might be cold the entire time. Yona and Elan's space, despite our (needless) worries, kept us super warm and cozy throughout our stay, and their hospitality and little touches (greeted us with beer and muffins!) made us feel very welcome. Though the bathroom is an outhouse, it is immaculately clean -- not just for an outhouse, but for a bathroom! We would highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to escape the city for a few days. Thanks, Yona and Elan!

    Andrew2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • One of the coolest Airbnb stays, spectacular cabin, Elan and Yona are super hosts!

  • Katy & Goethe are communicating very well and the place has a very nice independent kitchen. The room is relatively big and the bed is awesome! The hot water was really hot and very helpful for after-skiing shower. Nonetheless, I hope hosts use softener for washing the towels.

  • This land was beyond beautiful and the home was cozy and comfortable. I will definitely be returning

    Aly2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay - we loved seeing the animals (we may or may not have taken a few photos with them) and we did a morning run on the trails, which were lovely after the rain the previous day. We arrived too late to use the pond / fire pit, but we saw that everything was ready for us to do so. Everything was clean and well-prepared. I'd highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling in the area.

    Alan2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The property was beautiful, the home exceptional. It’s a farmhouse with all you need and more!

    Luriye2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • An exceptionally wonderful country farm experience, especially for those traveling with four footed, kitty friendly, fur babies or children that love animals. The accommodations are spotless, warm, and inviting with views out of a serenity video. The endless entertainment provided by the three adult and three kitten barn kitty was too cute for words. They were happy to keep their distant but loved the human and lab attention when offered, and of course we indulged both them and ourselves. This experience is perfect when paired with a beautiful sunset, wine, and a picnic of local fair. No need to look no further than the fridge with farm fresh, no preservative love provided by Masha. We enjoy two visits to the pond, perfect for labs that love to swim. The camp setting near the pond is so perfect and is another great option for snacks and refreshments. Our short stay prevented us from exploring with other trails available on the property but we can’t wait to come back and explore more. It may be a bit cliche but we can’t say enough about our short, refreshing stay except we hope to be back again soon.

    Lisa2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Marsha and Vinny’s place was a home away from home. A clean open aired space filled with books, flowers, and most importantly happy animals. We loved waking up and looking out our window to the wide open pasture. Every once in a while getting a glimpse of the horses, cows, donkeys, and goats. It really felt like “a simpler time”. They gave us a menu of fresh farmed meat to pick from and stocked the refrigerator for us. We went to the pond which you can drive or walk to and there was fresh water in a cooler and flowers on the picnic table not to mention an awesome tentr. It was a really special trip and i learned so much during the farm tour. It’s a discrete rarity to find people so kind so in touch with the land and I’m so grateful to have met this family and that they shared their beautiful home with us. To top it all off. We went home with one of the new kittens the barn cat had. Her name is angel and she’s sleeping in a basket in our nyc apt. Ok i have to stop but the memories are as warm as the fire that we burnt in the back yard where we ate marshmallows on a stick. Basically i wish i was still there :);):)

  • Me and my friends stayed here for one night and it was an incredible experience. Rosalie’s place had everything we needed. The view of the lake was very beautiful. At nighttime, we got to see the bright stars in the sky. We felt very welcome here and Rosalie was always available if we needed anything. Would definitely come back for another stay!

  • Great place to stay especially if you are going to a wedding at Blenheim farms. Just 1.5 miles away. Plenty of space stocked refrigerator. Great Airbnb

    Theodore2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I were attending a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm and this was the absolute perfect place to stay. It is less than a five minute drive away and so beautiful. Rosalie was an absolutely lovely host and put so many nice touches in the home like drinks in the fridge and breakfast supplies. The deck is gorgeous with the view of the lake. We were just sad we didn’t have more time to spend there but we hope to make a trip back soon!

    Ashley2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rosalie was such an amazing host. She stocked the fridge which was so helpful cause there weren’t a ton of food options close by. She went above and beyond as a host and we couldn’t have appreciated it more.

Cabin Clack is a cozy, stream-side retreat bordering 1000 acres of wild trails in host-maintained Clapper Hollow State Forest. The area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities and also offers plentiful organic farm stands in growing season. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or families (with kids). We welcome pets, and they will love exploring the countryside and the freedom of our virtually traffic-free dead-end road.
The space is a 1-room cabin with queen bed, kitchenette with microwave, electric stove and mini fridge. Vintage free-standing tub and Vermont Castings wood-burning stove. The back porch overlooks a lively little stream and a hibachi if you feel like grilling. There is a free standing outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood to make a campfire at night. A great place for star gazing.
  • Another year, another incredible weekend at the cabin. We’ve been coming to this magical place for three years now, and every time it is always the perfect escape from the city. Tom & Clara are the most incredible hosts. They always set up the fireplace before we arrive so it is nice and toasty and we love tea time with them. The hiking trails around the cabin are perfect, and pancakes at the farm is a must do! We can’t wait to return!

    Ashley2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin and property are gorgeous, and the hosts lovely. We had absolute privacy and the opportunity to explore the forest on snowshoe, with a glowing fire to come home to. A great experience.

    Matthew2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is our only recurring Airbnb ever, and that's because it's just so amazing. If you're looking for a quiet getaway emersed in nature look no further. A true gem.

    Clay2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second visit to the Cabin, so I already knew I was in for a treat. I stayed last time in the fall and thought it couldn’t get better, but a fresh snow made the place truly magical. My dog loved being off-leash the whole weekend - so much so that she wouldn’t get in the car when it was time to go! Hikes in the woods with the Cabin’s snowshoes and poles were beautiful. The wood stove kept us plenty warm even when the night dipping close to zero. Tom and Clara were great throughout my stay - offering me tips for arriving in a storm and a lovely tea when I arrived. If you’re at all tempted, book this! You won’t regret it!

    Kimberly2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away for the weekend. Tom and Clara were phenomenal! They were available whenever we needed and made us feel like family when they welcomed us into their home to have tea with them. They even gave us a jump start on our car when our battery died. The cabin is beautiful and off the grid, you are secluded and have acres and acres to explore with a creek that goes right through to the back of the cabin. Our 2 dogs and ourselves enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to return to do some more hiking when there’s less snow and to have more tea with Tom and Clara. ☺️

    Joshua2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a gem! Exactly as pictured and described, it is off a dead end road, with no visible houses from the windows of the cabin, which makes it feel so secluded and private because IT IS secluded and private. It is a separate little property located across the street from the hosts, so you really feel like it's yours during your stay. A little creek can be heard flowing along to sing you to sleep and there are trails to be hiked right out the door, no need to even drive to a trailhead. The woodstove was well stocked with everything we needed to keep it going through our stay and there were snowshoes provided for us to borrow for some hiking in the snowy forest. Absolutely stunning National Forests surround the cabin, we hiked for hours and didn't see a single other person or house. There is one main bed (full size) in the main room, then there are a couple mattresses up in the loft accessed by a ladder. Perfect for a family with kids old enough to climb ladders. Tub is in the main area, which was so romantic. Wouldn't suggest this place for people who don't want to bathe in front of each other though. The water is very sulfury, which was great for baths. The hosts provide water from their spring for drinking, which was deliciously pure and non-sulfury. The location was easy to find and Tom and Clara were very kind and quick to respond. We will definitely be back in the spring/summer to see what this little slice of heaven looks like when it's all green; but the snowy paradise is well worth the visit to anyone who loves the outdoors and wants some solitude.

    Anna & Ben2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clara and Tom are the best and this cabin is a slice of heaven! We loved everything: the door knob, the windows, the floor boards, the stove (even the stove manual is cute!), the porch, the backyard snowshoeing and sledding and especially afternoon tea with Clara and Tom! We felt part of the family and were even helped by out by a neighbor which was really sweet. Plus it was a beautiful drive to Plattekill for some mellow skiing. On the way home we talked about how we could live there forever. . .

    Robin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful single room cabin situated near a river, Tom and Clara truly care about their property and area and were some of the best hosts I've stayed with. Who can say no to a woodstove, beautiful trails, and welcoming gracious hosts? Even though the cabin is small, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My partner and I were able to cook all of our meals, play games, and relax without feeling cramped in the space. I would definitely go back, and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

  • My family of 4 loved staying at this Airbnb as it was everything it said it was in the listing and MORE. The host, Kristen, and her husband Frank made sure we were okay and even made themselves readily available when we couldn't access the wifi at first to watch the Superbowl (the boys in our family were happy to get their Superbowl). The place is very stylish, comfortable, and well heated with even a cute little fireplace heater in the kitchen. We felt at home right away. The cleanliness was top notch and Kristen even had a cute little coffee and breakfast ready for us before we arrived. Thank you so much for going the extra mile to make our stay just that more enjoyable. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

    Jessica2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was just right for our family for a last minute stay, I emailed Kristin at 11am and by 4pm we were out the door on our NYE adventure. The place was spotless clean, the kids loved the snacks and it felt very cozy to spend our New Year’s Eve as a family. I was a bit concerned with a 7 month old baby due to the cold weather but with the heaters on we all slept comfortably. I was lucky enough to find an exterior outlet and was able to plug in my TESLA even if it was only a 110V outlet. For the price this place exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much Kristin for the attention to detail, prompt response time and such a lovely place.

Beautiful light and airy post and beam contemporary house in gorgeous country setting with a sweeping view of the Charlotte Valley in the foothills of the Catskills. Perfect for a romantic get-away, family or ski weekend (Hunter, Windham, Bellayre, Plattekill just under an hours drive). Close to Cooperstown/Baseball Hall of Fame, quaint villages, farm to table restaurants. Absolutely no hunting allowed on the property!!!
PLEASE READ - We don’t have internet at the house - when we spend time at the house we use our phones with Verizon service as Hotspots. For vacation mode that usually is sufficient- you can check emails, social media, play games on your iPad etc. It most likely won’t support a Zoom or Webex video sessions, if you plan on working remotely. I’m writing this during the Coronavirus epidemic due to the numerous inquiries we’ve received. Unfortunately there is not a cable or internet provider currently offering fast service at this address! This country house has two large dedicated bedrooms with a California King bed each, and a walk-out level guest room with a pull-out double couch, that can sleep 2 people. The master bedroom on the top floor is very large and open to the living area below. Please be aware that although it is private, it is open to sounds from the main floor. If you enjoy curling up on the couch with a good book, the wood stove can add to a cozy ambiance. If the weather is nice, you will love eating on the large back deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen and tableware. Should you want to be more active and just return to the house for the night, let me know and I'll provide a list of restaurants and things to do! Our location invites you to relax, take in the views, enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch. If you’re quiet, chances are you will see deer and turkeys wander through the garden, or if you’re really lucky you will see our resident Bald Eagles circle over the field behind the house. While you sip a cup of coffee on the deck in the early fall, just wearing a sweater over your pj’s, you might see how quickly the morning fog moves through the Valley. As you can tell we love this valley and hope you will enjoy your stay here too! (We think it’s magical, and who needs WiFi if you have all this - sorry no internet!)
We are located in the foothills of the Catskills. Oneonta, a small university town, is the closest city - about a 20 to 25 minute drive. Cooperstown is about 30 minutes away. Albany is about an hour away and depending on traffic, it takes us 3 to 3.5 hrs to the George Washington bridge in NYC.

  • Laima was the perfect airbnb host, and her home was one of our best experiences. The house was stylish and more spacious than we expected. It provides a great chance to spread out and relax. The outdoor setting was very pretty and provided a huge field space for gazing at an enormous night sky. The bit of snow during our late autumn trip added such nice atmosphere. Laima is so generous with her home, spaces, games, suggestions, and food. This place was a terrific value for us as four adults. We would like to return!

    Nick2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house was spectacular. Clean, modern and an accommodating host. I highly recommend a stay here whether you are looking for some rest or relaxation or visiting the area. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to coming back!

Charming 1890's country home nestled in quaint rural village in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. We are 8 minutes from the beautiful Blenheim Hill Farm; 14 minutes from Minekill State Park; 18 minutes from New York Safety Track; one hour away from Albany and Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame); and 3.5 hours from NYC. Antiques shops close by. The Cottage Suite makes a comfy getaway and place to relax.
The Cottage Suite was newly renovated in 2017 with a hint of a cottage experience. Our extended family reunions have always been at 'the cottage' in Canada - so our decor resembles those fond 'cottage-type' memories. This suite has 2 separate bedrooms, both with a queen size bed and smart or roku tv. One of the bedrooms includes the fridge; coffee maker; a bar sink and the newly tiled bathroom with walk-in shower.
On Saturdays through the summer, the town has opened up the 'Maple Museum' for a local 'Farmer's Market'. Come and enjoy. They also put on a free to the public, Summer Concerts every Sunday afternoon at 2pm. You will appreciate the small village atmosphere as you stroll through the village. We are in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains surrounded by rolling hills and country roads.
  • Very clean and comfortable. Lesley is very nice and thoughtful. 5 star for sure.

  • I highly recommend Lesley’s place! My family stayed there during my wedding weekend and it was perfect. The rooms were lovely and Lesley and her husband were so helpful and accommodating. They are great hosts and this is a great spot to stay in Jefferson!

  • We booked two rooms (longer review under other room). Very positive experience. Well located. Comfortable and clean and nicely renovated. Would recommend and wouldn’t think twice about staying again next time we’re in the area.

  • Lesley's "cottage suite" was absolutely beautiful! It's definitely one of the coziest and cleanest airbnb's I've ever stayed in. Lesley clearly takes pride in making sure her rooms are immaculate and I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door. Lesley and her husband Bob greeted me upon my arrival and showed me up to the room. They are both warm, friendly, and welcoming. The natural light in the room is gorgeous and the bed is extremely comfortable. The bathroom is fantastic as well! Overall, Lesley's space went above and beyond my expectations and I'm already looking forward to my next stay there. It's the perfect place for a tranquil weekend getaway from NYC!

    Alexander2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at Lesley's place! It is so quaint and she & her husband were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed eating at both local eateries - the entire town seemed full of kind & nice folks! We had great accommodations and Lesley even provided us with homemade muffins to go with our morning coffee!

The historic Mill Pond Inn was built in 1879 by the Mann Brothers, who ran a grain and sawmill. When David and Joan purchased the property in 2017, it had been abandoned for twenty-two years, but retained many of its original details. Today, the house features five rooms with private baths, a relaxing front porch, and a large back deck with stunning views of the mill pond. An event space for parties of up to 100, with additional space in the bar, are also available.
The house sits on 25 acres of scenic woodland. Guests can cross over the wooden bridge, past the waterfall, and to the nature trail, which winds around the pond and along the stream. The area is home to frogs, beavers, and many birds: herons, egrets, wood ducks, mallards, kingfishers, and others.
Jefferson is a one of-a kind rural community, with a village green, many original buildings along Main Street, and eateries—Buck Hill Farm, The Breakfast Club, and The Heartbreak Hotel—that attract patrons from a wide area. In summer, the active Historical Society presents free concerts in the magnificent Maple Museum.

This is 1 of 4 rooms we offer (see other listings). As with all of our rooms we offer the most spectacular view of the Catskills. This, coupled with our farm fresh breakfast and modern amenities provide our guests with an extraordinary stay that the best memories are made of. We border on the Plattekill State Forest, so enjoy hiking, biking, sight seeing, skiing, hunting or fishing right off the property. We now have an outside hot tub and pool for your enjoyment as well.
The Tavern room is a self-contained completely private room with the most spectacular view of The Catskill Mountains you will ever find. This is the medium sized space of our super cozy rooms that can accommodate a family of 4 easily. The room includes its own private entrance, bath, deck, large TV, AC & gas fireplace. We also offer complete dinner plates for those who do not want to leave their room (Saturday Night only). Please notify us in advance if you are interested and & for the current menu & pricing. You also have free use of the outside hot tub and pool.
-Our property is located right on the Plattekill State Forest with dirt access roads & high on an end mountain. As a result, (in winter) we recommend a All wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle to ensure you can climb our driveway. It's not required as we will pick you up if needed. Please keep in mind. -For you winter types, WE ARE ONLY 25 MINUTES from both Belleayre Mountain ski Center and Plattekill Mountain. Also, our hill is 1 of the best to do some sledding on and the surrounding mountains offer world-class snowshoeing & cross country skiing. -Also, please note that cell service here in the mountains gets 'spotty', so please print our directions to our B&B prior to departure. We love to recommend super hikes, swimming, biking, antiquing, skiing, boating and touring in this very special area. All of these activities are surrounded by the bucolic landscape of the local dairy farms.
  • Loved being in the hot tub while watching the sunset and the sky get dark. Great get away location in the mountains and good privacy.

  • Patty and Leam were excellent hosts: kind, accommodating, helpful, and respectful of privacy. Also, KILLER French toast makers! Highly recommend this place for a weekend in the sticks with a great view.

    Samuel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Patty and Leam are amazing hosts, and our visit was exactly the thing we needed to decompress from the city. The views were honestly amazing, and sitting in the hot tub at night in the dead of 15 degree whether staring at the stars and the mountains was honestly a memory I’ll carry with me forever. Thank you so much for our stay.

    Kurt2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Another wonderful stay on top of the mountain!

    Rebecca2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Highlanders View is a great place to stay! Patty & Leam were extremely hospitable; from the delicious breakfast to creating the quintessential cabin experience. Leam was very kind to pick me up from his private entrance as my SUV had gotten stuck in the snow & ice. The cabin itself is extremely cozy and offers picturesque views. The food was very tasty and the location is very convenient to Plattekill Mt. Highly recommend staying here for any type of winter activities. 11/10

    Aj2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • WOWWWW!!!! This has been one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at. First, Patty & Leam were so sweet and hospitable! They really know how to make their visitors feel welcome, comfortable and right at home. As soon as we got there, Leam was there to greet us and show us to our room which was so cute and cozy...Netflix included!!!! There is a heater in the room with also a spare space heater if needed, so do not worry you can make your room as nice & toasty as you want!! The room, beds, showers, everything was super clean & spacious! As if the first night couldn’t have been better, we woke up the next day in a true winter wonderland. It had snowed over night which made for the most absolutely breathtaking, serene, picturesque views I’ve ever seen - we literally didn’t want to even leave because of this and skipped a half day of skiing for it 😁 When we woke up there was coffee with all the fixins & a delicious, warm fresh homemade breakfast waiting for us. After breakfast we explored the farm - they have some of the last Soay sheep left in world! How cool!?! Made for a very unique Instagram/Facebook post if that’s any brownie points too...seriously everyone couldn’t get over all the videos and pictures of their place that I posted I wish I could post them here! Also, we screenshotted the directions prior to driving to their places which made the drive up there a breeze - do this!!!! We drove a Jeep Cherokee which was perfect (there was some snow on the ground and towards the end of the drive it turns into a bit of a bumpy dirt road so we highly recommend driving a car with 4 wheel drive too!) They also had a hot tub overlooking the gorgeous mountain views which I’m still so sad we didn’t get to use. The hot tub was all ready to go for us but my sister and I were too tired when we got in and had plans to ski again the next day. (We skied at Plattekill mountain which was a convenient 30 min drive away.) That’s okay though because we’ll definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Patty and Leam again for such a wonderful stay! Already looking forward to our next stay! 😊

  • Glenn's place is fantastic! Super close to Plattekill Mountain for great skiing. After a day of skiing we enjoyed checking out a local restaurant, then coming back to the home to relax with a fire. I also loved the natural products in the bathroom.

  • Beautiful little spot near Plattekill mountain. Great for a small group to have a relaxing evening after doing any of the many things to do in the area. Glenn, the homeowner, made it as convenient as possible and even had some real cool blues playing for when we arrived. No Tv which is a plus for me, was great to play some board games there and just shoot the shit with friends. Exactly what you’re hoping for when you book an AirBnB.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We opened the door to Glenn’s place and it was so welcoming inside. He’s created such a cozy spot, and he even had blues playing on the wifi speakers. Also, there’s no TV which was great. Instead we lit the fireplace, drank, and played games. We’d definitely visit again. Thanks Glenn!

  • This is an excedenly charming house, with cozy open spaces and large windows all around the first floor that fill it with light all day long. Love the vintage touches on the kitchen and the stylish and minimalist feel of the rooms. Kevin made sure to send us an exhaustive list of local tips before check-in so that we knew exactly where to go for our needs once we got there. Some of the little details that made our trip more comfortable: firewood at our disposal, all necessary kitchen appliances, two-car parking, electronic door locks (no keys to handle!), easy check-in/check-out, proximity to ski resorts. We were a group of 5 and had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely rent again if we return to the area.

  • We had such a great stay at Kevin's home. The house is lovely and has everything we needed (including cooking items, as we had our Thanksgiving here and really utilized the kitchen!). Kevin was extremely responsive throughout the process, and provided us with a ton of really great area suggestions. The house was very comfortable, within walking distance of a lovely park, and we had an overall very pleasant stay. Hope to be back sometime!

We stayed in the summer, so we could leave all the windows open and hear the babbling brook right out side! Host are very responsive and have tons of suggestions for the area. My place is close to Skiing, Cooperstown and Howes Caverns. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and charm. There is a wood burning stove in the cabin for the winter months and a firepit in the back patio for the summer months to enjoy. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. There is 30 acres of fields and woods to enjoy. Close to hiking, biking, snowmobiling and 4 wheeling!
It's a log cabin, it has a great room that makes it extra cozy. The loft overlooks the great room. The loft is the entertainment center, there is a TV with access to DirecTV , wi-fi and high speed Internet.
If you want serenity, this is the place. If you want activity, this is the place. We are close to so many places and far away enough for a peaceful rest.
  • What a beautiful cabin! We felt so welcomed. Marlene went out of her way to let us know about the impending snowfall and plowed the driveway for us. She was very responsive and kind. The cabin is large and surrounded by gorgeous trees. 10/10 would recommend for a sweet woodsy getaway.

    Dani2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I (30s NYC) were looking for an isolated place for a weekend getaway with our dog. We wanted a lot of space for our dog to run around. Marlene's place exceeded expectations in every way. Amazing value as well. Everything was very clean and the check-in/out was seamless. The kitchen has some antique appliances which were very neat, and there was a good amount of information (leaflets) about the surrounding area that was placed on the main coffee table. We can't wait to go back by ourselves or with friends.

    Kyle2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible experience at Crow's Nest Cabin. First off, Marlene was very quick to respond to my questions. Our stay was comfortable. The pictures do not do this place justice! We were blown away. Although it is far, this is exactly what we were looking for. The quiet is so different from that of the city, and it was just the thing we needed to unwind and refresh. Everything we needed was there. We were able to do tons of cooking. Although the wifi was not very strong and there was practically no service, it was perfect because we played games, talked all night and just disconnected from the rest of the world. 10/10 would stay here again! Also got engaged during my stay on New Year's, so it will be in my memories forever. Thanks Marlene!

    Kiara2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Crow’s Nest is the perfect location to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. As described, the cabin is tucked away on a remote piece of property, far away from the hustle and bustle (can be a bit difficult to find, especially in the winter weather, so I’d recommend a car with 4-wheel drive). The space itself is clean, warm, and inviting. We had plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 children, 3 dogs, and all of our Christmas presents, decor, etc. Marlene is quick to respond via the app and Jim (a neighbor) is only a phone call away. If you’re looking to get away and relax, I’d highly recommend the Crow’s Nest!

  • we absolutely loved our stay here! perfectly placed on a stunning property. it is a little tricky to find the driveway if you’re arriving at night so try to arrive during daylight hours if you can! beds were very comfortable and loved the rustic touches. we fell in love with the kitchen and the antique appliances. the stove is fairly simple to use but we called the property manager to make sure we did it properly. we used the porch almost every morning and it was a nice and quiet escape from nyc. such a cozy space and we loved being here for a few days!

  • We had a truly amazing stay! We were in town to visit family and this location was very close to them and the downtown area. Kirstin went above and beyond in every way. She helped me print an important document that I forgot at home and had it ready and waiting in the sunrise suite when we arrived. The suite was spacious, very clean, had everything we needed including coffee for the mornings. We stayed with 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Kirstin provided a pack n play, which was great because it was one less thing we had to travel with. The 2 older kids stayed in the loft and at ages 8 & 5 didn’t have any problems with the climb up and loved having their own space. The king size bed was comfortable and located in a spot where the whole family was able to snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie on Netflix. We absolutely loved this rental and will defiantly book again next time we visit! Thank you for everything Kirstin... I could keep going on and on about what a great rental this is!

  • Great space! Beautiful views and warm touches.

  • This was our first experience with AirBNB and it was amazing...from the detailed messages on what to do and expect to the little touches of home we felt very comfortable! We were visiting my son who attends SUNY Oneonta and it was a great space to go back to and relax...it was super clean and provided everything thing we needed for the weekend...we will certainly be back!

  • Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Probably my favorite air bnb I've ever stayed at. Scenic, yet a few miles from town. Such cute decor and thoughtful amenities. Will definitely be back for another stay soon!

  • The place was awesome and clean and cozy and we had a great time! Fireplace in the space was really cool, great suggestions for things to do. A nice place for a cozy weekend in as well!

  • What a delightful, light, fresh space. We loved the views from all the windows and rested so well on the comfortable bed. Thank you!!

  • Kirstin’s place was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Extremely clean, a great location (about 25min from Cooperstown), and her communication and hospitality were exceptional. She went above and beyond when she literally purchased and installed a new tv within a couple of hours from me telling her the old one was broken. I would recommend staying here 100% and I would absolutely stay here again.

  • Absolutely stay here if you're visiting the area! Lesley is a wonderful, thoughtful host and so accommodating. My family stayed at her place and they said it was perfect for their weekend visit. Would highly recommend!

  • My wife and 14-month old daughter and I stayed here to attend a weekend of events at Blenheim Hill Farm, and Seven Ponds Farm. This property was perfectly located less than 10min from Blenheim Farm and less than 20min from Seven Ponds Farm. Rooms were both recently renovated, nicely designed and comfortable. Also nice to be a short 2min walk to a breakfast spot and bar/grill in town. Buck Hill Farm 0.5 mile away is was also a highlight for weekend breakfast. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

  • My fiance and I stayed at Wind in the Willow's while in Jefferson for a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm, which was about a 10 minute drive away. The room was decorated nicely, was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had a king-sized bed which we greatly appreciated after a 4+ hour drive. It had bottled water, coffee pods, and delicious muffins which held us over before we had dinner at the wedding and then breakfast the next morning at The Breakfast Club (recommended by Lesley & her husband -- it was delicious). There were a few other restaurants, bars, and a gas station in the area so there seems to be a convenient area to stay if you're there for several days. I recommend staying at Lesley's place!

    Jessi2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for just a night at Lesley's place but found it comfortable and accommodating. Lesley allowed us to check in early—which was fast and easy. The room has a Keurig machine for morning coffee, and has a large, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Towels and shampoo were provided. Highly recommend breakfast at the Breakfast Club a few blocks away!

  • What a beautiful home and room filled with amazing artwork. Lesley’s home was incredible and it was even better than we could have imagined. Lesley and her husband were there on the porch to greet us and welcome us in to their home. We had a wedding at Blenheim Hill Farms and it was less than a 10 min drive away making it so easy to get to and from. We would highly recommend this!

  • We stayed at Wind In The Willows for a nearby wedding and were really happy with our choice. Lesley and her husband welcomed us warmly upon arrival. Our room was large w a very comfy king bed and private bathroom with a good shower. The decor is country comfortable w lots of artwork by Lesley’s Dad, who illustrated book covers and advertising. It made for a truly unique and personal stay. The Breakfast Club is a short walk and makes a fantastic breakfast.

    Julia2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Wind in the Willows was so charming. Lesley went above and beyond making us feel at home, and the little touches throughout the room were appreciated. Great location just a few doors down from the best breakfast spot in Jefferson.

This is 1 of 4 rooms (see other listings). it is 12x16 and very charming.
The Cottage room is a self-contained completely private room with the most spectacular view of The Catskill Mountains you will ever find. This is our smallest room that can accommodate 2 people comfortably. The room includes its own private entrance, bath, TV, & AC.
  • Patty and Leam are so nice and gracious, it is like staying with family friends. The best parts of our stay: - 24/7 hot tub: it is outside, and always on; star-gazing in the hot tub at midnight is a memorable experience we will never forget - The view: from the hot tub, pool, and guest rooms, you can see a gorgeous view of the mountains along with farm animals like goats - Delicious breakfast: they are not kidding about farm-fresh; there is bacon, eggs, french toast, and homemade maple syrup with an abundance of hot sauces and orange juice/coffee (you can also buy some of their maple syrup to take home!) - Easy check-in: does not require host interaction so we were able to check-in with no problems despite a late arrival - Abundance of toiletries: our room was stocked with varieties of shampoos, conditioners, body wash, etc. - Cottage/cabin feel: the room definitely has character, you almost feel as though you are rooming in a wood cabin in the state park We only wished that there could have been a coat rack or more shelf space in the room as we didn't have anywhere to put our coats/bags, but this is minuscule and did not diminish our wonderful experience at all. Highly recommended stay for nature and animal lovers alike!

    Xu2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Patty and Leam were wonderful hosts and so lovely to be around. Their home is great and the cottage room is exactly as advertised. The hot tub is a great touch, as are their two adorable and welcoming dogs. The location is in the mountains, so be prepared for a true escape. It was nice to have no cell service (for miles, including even in town), but wifi at their home in case I needed anything :) Thanks again Patty Leam!

    Casey2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Patty and Leam are exceptional hosts with a lovely, bucolic space. I highly recommend staying in one of their completely private rooms.

  • Cozy and warm place. Kindest hosts. Our second visit and looking forward to coming back.

    Veronica2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a great place to stay! The room is cozy and clean, the hosts are welcoming, the property is amazing, and the dogs are so friendly. We'd go back here whenever possible. Note that the numbered address does not work in Maps and will send you the wrong way on Thompson Hollow Rd, but using "Highlanders View Bed and Breakfast" should work instead. Also note that this is the Cottage Room and you should look for that placard outside the room.

    Christina2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and great hosts! The room is completely private with its own entrance, everything is new and works well. The outdoor hot tub is outstanding! Patty and Leam are very friendly and include great breakfast with the stay!

  • Absolutely amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay, couldn’t of asked for anything better. So aesthetically pleasing ever single part of the home is picture perfect! The best thing Is that the host had the kitchen stocked, we had everything we needed to cook every night.

  • We had such a great time staying at Paul and Fran's Cabin in the Catskills! It was so comfortable and relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the spacious living room, and full kitchen. The cabin is everything you could want and more. It’s beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The record player was a wonderful addition, and the variety of records available were fun to explore! They had a great information book explaining all the basics and answered all questions promptly. We had some trouble reaching the house, but only due to inclement weather conditions. Paul and Fran were extremely helpful with calling a plow service and accommodating us. Would highly recommend staying here if you love the cabin feel! Can’t wait to come back!

    Shakira2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is lovely and well decorated. We stayed two nights and we had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and entertainment! A great place for a weekend getaway to recharge, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It snowed when we were there and had a great fun playing in the snow. Communication with Paul and Fran was easy and quick and checking in and out was also easy. Thanks for everything!

  • It was such a lovely weekend, beautiful views that the pictures don’t do justice, we felt like home, the ride through the mountains was so beautiful that we were in wow the whole time. We had a little bit of snow and it was magical. Paul and Fran are beautiful hosts that provide everything you need, very kind and thoughtful and the chalet it’s such a cute gem that you really want to experience! Will definitely come back! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we enjoyed every moment of our stay!

  • Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing cozy place. The owners provided us with a great guide of local stores and bars and we checked few of them! (Follow their suggestions, they are great). Unfortunately we came during winter and we had zero snow (the only weekend without snow :)) we are lucky) but overall this place is amazing! 40 minutes to Hunter Mountain! 5 stars guys! Truly Airbnb Plus experience!

  • We were so impressed with David and Joan's BNB. It was meticulously appointed, comfortable and an absolute gem of a place. As with any new property on AirBNB, we weren't sure what to expect given the lack of reviews, however, it is safe to say that this location exceeded our expectations. We spent another night at a more established but similar Inn in the area and found this location to be far better. Breakfast included fresh fruit, coffee and a selection of bread. The hosts were very friendly and hosted a wine and cheese happy hour. We will definitely stay again!

    Callum2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • David was super responsive and very friendly. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, as we were just passing through. The home is an amazing restoration from an original building for the 1870s. Has a lot of character and a quiet and beautiful setting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and would recommend the place to anyone in the area.

    Ross2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • There are few places that can compare to the Mill Pond Inn. The hosts have undertaken a huge project in restoring this grand antique inn, and their work is fantastic. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the interior renovation. Each bedroom is elegant, with the emphasis on quiet privacy. Every bedroom has a private bathroom.
