Paddleboard is a cosy little cottage with loads of character. Remote location for families to escape. This is a perfect, peaceful location right on the Menai Strait. Whether you want watersports, a spot of fishing, a stroll with the dog along the shore or just relax with a good book. Located just 5 minutes away from the A55, Paddleboard is a perfect hub from which to explore the delights of Anglesey and Snowdonia. Moel y Don Cottage is also available here: https://airbnb.com/h/moelydon
Living Room is open plan upstairs with a simple well stocked kitchen: fridge with icebox, electric oven with gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Bedrooms are located downstairs and comprise of: 1 bedroom has a kingsize bed. 1 bedroom has two single beds. Bathroom is compact but has everything you need - shower over bath, sink, toilet, mirror and heated towel rail. The hot tub is available to rent at an extra cost of £35 for single use or £50 for the duration of your stay. We try our very best to be kind to our planet and have started by doing the following simple things: We were involved with the creation of the Plastic Free Anglesey campaign. We provide shampoo/conditioner/handsoap stored in refillable bottles and produced by a responsible local firm. The coffee/tea/sugar/treats are all fairtrade. Our laundry is all done by a local company, again using responsible methods. Power supplied to the house is sourced from renewables. We encourage all our guests to use our recycling facilities.
You can enjoy this tranquil haven and yet have buzz of Menai Bridge (renowned for great pubs and restaurants) Snowdonia National park and lots of golden sandy beaches within easy reach. Enjoy a sundowner on the decked terrace, or stroll down to the water's edge, enjoy the varied bird life, watch the tide ebb and flow or simply watch the fabulous sunsets bounce off the water. If you have a thirst for adventure then this area is an absolute must. Rib rides on the Straits (one of the best ways to see Anglesey by boat), surf in the mountains (really!), learn to kite board, go for a zip wire experience, do the tree top adventures, or visit the many National Trust houses - take your pick, it is all here and we can point you in the right direction. Hot tub rental available at £35/night or £50 for your stay.
  • Paddleboard Cottage is a little gem with wonderful hosts in Nicki & Tom (and family). The cottage is well appointed, clean and cosy and is itself a lovely historic wood beam building. There is a small garden with hot tub where you can soak up the afternoon sun (or rain!) and enjoy the views over the Menai Straight towards Snowdon; our 4yr old simply loved it and it gave us a really lovely family activity to do together at the end of a busy day exploring. Location wise it is great, 10 mins drive from Menai Bridge, so within easy reach of the castles and adventure activities on the mainland but nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of mainland too. The shoreline is 100m from the cottage and at low-tide a large sandbar provides a fab place to exercise the dog and enjoy the space, light and peace (and wind!). There is a lovely church just behind the cottage and coastal walks you can do from the cottage so you don't have to get in the car if you dont want to. 10 mins away is the charming Sea zoo and Foel Farm and Anglesea Salt factory. Whilst we did not have time to explore much of Anglesea we loved all three attractions and they provided a great (and not commercialised) activity to do with our 4yr old. Nice and gentle! Food was great, we ate at Dylans in Menai Bridge which does awesome seafood and the Erskine in Conwy (after a long which served an amazing Sunday roast. All-in-all the cottage, hosts, location and the area gave us 3 amazing days and I highly recommend it!

  • We loved our stay at paddleboard. The perfect cosy place for a getaway. This is our third trip to paddleboard and I'm sure we will be back again! Nicki is an excellent host. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay x

  • We loved Paddleboard Cottage. The perfect location to explore beautiful Anglesey. Despite a wild and wet weekend, we were cosy and warm in the cute and beautifully styled cottage and even a managed some time in the hot tub looking at the gorgeous view over the Menai Straight. Nicki was indeed a super host. Thanks very much.

  • We loved our stay at Nicki's place. The little house was very clean and well furnished. The beds in particular were very comfortable. Nicki was extremely helpful and welcoming, without being intrusive. The property is in a lovely location with easy access to most places on the island.

  • Lovely place and ideal for a family holiday with a dog. Very welcoming hosts :)

    Andrew2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Paddleboard Cottage. The cottage itself is great: well-equipped, comfortable and clean, and in a great location for exploring the area. Nicki was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were staying there during Storm Ciara and Nicki very kindly braved the elements to come and check we were ok and to see if we needed any supplies to see us through the weather! We would definitely recommend Nicki and Paddleboard Cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area, and are hoping to return ourselves very soon!

The Abbey House is a newly converted farm building which stands in 7 acres with ponds, streams, woods and ducks. Wonderful views of Snowdonia. Enjoy light and airy living area with log burner and great kitchen. Double bedroom and lovely bathroom.
A beautiful little barn conversion in a beautiful setting on Anglesey
The Abbey House is situated in countryside only 5 minutes from beautiful beaches and the Anglesey Coastal footpath. Snowdonia is only 20 minutes over the Menai Strait. A good variety of facilities, restaurants and pubs nearby and around the island.
  • Had a great stay with Kathy and Bill. This is a top quality place to stay. We were doing some walking on the Anglesey Coastal Walk and this was a great central location to get out to various parts of the island. Real attention to detail and so much hospitality - will definetly be back even if just for the home made bread and lime marmalade! Thanks again.

    Rob2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the comfort and the beauty of this perfect refuge. The view of the mountains and the grounds were amazing. Kathy provided wonderful goodies and both she and Bill were warm and welcoming. We very much hope to return.

    Christine2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Can't recommend highly enough. The term superhost doesn't even cover how amazing Kathy and Bill are. A home from home, gorgeous place, everything you possibly need. Just devine. Nothing more to say apart from book it! You won't be dissapointed.

  • A beautiful hideaway in the heart of Anglesey. Warm, cosy and very clean. Kathy is a great host with lots of local recommendations to help make the most of your trip. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Anglesey.

  • This place is must! My husband, 10 month old son and I had the best two nights away! Stunning views and the cottage is spotless and beautifully done. Gorgeous beaches a short drive away! Kathy and Bill are fabulous! The nicest hosts! We will definitely be back!

    Kate2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to escape. Thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location, although it’s close enough to a great fish and chip shop! The hosts were excellent with little touches such as cakes, milk etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend to relax and unwind.

    Jonathan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived to Kathy's warm welcome. Kathy had made us some home made bread and provided fresh eggs and some Welsh and Scottish sweet treats too. The cottage itself had absolutely everything we needed, it was cosy and warm and we really enjoyed making use of the log burner in the evening. Kathy gave us loads of really helpful tips on where we should visit on Anglesey. We visited Newbrough beach which was stunning and we ate at Dylan's on the Menai Strait - the food was delightful. My favourite part was waking up in the morning to the stunning view of Snowdonia and listening to the birdsong :) We have already recommended Kathy's place to our family and friends and we hope to visit again in the near future.

  • Lovely cottage. Peaceful and quiet. Well appointed and very good value.

  • Ann's terraced house is a lovely place to stay. The original house is cozy and well equipped . The added conservatory on to the back is facing Snowdonia and if you're lucky you'll have the most amazing view. It is just out of town, but amenities are never far away, neither is the sea. The traffic is not that much, despite being next to the road. The supersize big bed is comfortable and having 2 bathrooms a little luxury. We'd love to come back .

  • Comfortable, well equipped and cosy place. Great location and stunning views. Recommended!

    Linda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely find! The photos really don't do this place justice... it's huge, yet warm and cosy. The finishing touches make it incredibly homely, and our host was kind enough to check we were warm enough through the storm. The location was perfect for us, quiet and secluded, with a beach and a chippy only 15 minutes away. We loved it that much, whilst sitting on the sofa, under cosy blankets kindly provided, listening to the fire roaring... we booked again for the summer! Looking forward to our next stay!

    Kath2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to chill and relax with all that you will ever need. We had to stay on while the storm was battering all around and it was so cosy and warm with the log fire burning away. This place is so central for the beach or the inland and would look at coming back anytime, it’s a real surprise when you walk through the door and see how spacious it is. Great caring host who although we never Met was there checking we were ok and all was as we wanted. 5 Stars.

Tne caravan is situated in a lovely secluded paddock next to our house with views of the Snowdonia mountains and easy access to fantastic beaches and forests. Award winning restaurant just 3 minutes drive away. There is a shower unit which is shared use with our guests staying in the other caravan next door. They now have their own composting loo and so do you!
  • First, the caravan is the cutest and if you're looking for somewhere to stay a little different than your typical Airbnb, don't look any further. It was super clean and with all the equipment needed for a short stay. The little wood stove kept the place warm and the beds were really comfortable. Mike and Joanna are very nice guests and gave lots of local tips.

    Tymèle2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place is lovely. He was very helpful and answered any queries immediately. Despite the stormy weather, we were safe and warm in the caravan.

    Clare2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a amazing hidden gem. We had a amazing time here. Mike as host we couldn't fault, from lighting the fire so it was cosy and warm for our arrival to fresh milk and his own eggs too . If we could give 11 out of 10 we would. Would recommend 1000% and were already looking at our next visit

    Rob2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for my wife and two children

    Chris2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • There was always good communication from Mike from the moment of booking, he responded quickly to our questions. The accommodation was outstanding and the craftsmanship of Mike is very impressive. We arrived on the day of the worst storm Anglesey had seen for a long time. The place was clean and beautiful. There is everything you could possibly need to be more than comfortable. The fresh eggs from Mike's own chickens was a lovely touch. We had one minor problem which Mike fixed straight away. There was plenty of firewood for the log burner, which Mike replenished straight away on request. The storm howled for 24 hours (it was brilliant) but we were warm, very comfy and safe. Mike had done a wonderful job of the accommodation. His dogs are lovely too. A wonderful place and host. Can't wait to go back!

    Wendy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful hut, everything we needed and much more, perfect little getaway, the gypsy hut was spotless, so so snug and cozy. Mike was brilliant, great communication, provided everything we asked for, his home and animals are just beautiful. Thank you so much for an amazing night, we will certainly be back in the near future!

    Jessie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mike was super helpful and friendly! The Gypsy Hut was amazing! Really cosy and warm even though the weather was awful outside. It made it even cosier. Thanks again Mike for being a great host!

We have just moved our bell tent to a more sheltered location on our front lawn. Fabulous view from the patio across our field to the rolling countryside beyond. Easy access to fantastic beaches and forests just ten minutes drive away. Award winning restaurant just 3 minutes drive away - in UK Top 40 places to eat. The tent now has it’s own private composting toilet and shower unit together with a kitchen sink and draining board.
The tent is well-equipped for your stay with a double bed though we have moved out the sofa bed and replaced it with an armchair. There is a log-burning stove and an electric blanket on the bed so you will be warm even in the winter! There is a cooking area with two-ring electric hob, kettle and fridge. The local pub is very friendly and does good food
  • We had a fantastic time here. The tent has so much attention to detail and everything that you would need. The hot shower is lovely! And the eggs and milk upon arrival were a lovely surprise. Thank you Mike!

    Anna2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in the Luna tent. Tent had everything you needed for a comfortable break. Fire kept the tent warm even in the winter. Mike was a friendly host and explained everything about the accommodation and local eateries. Would be a great place to stay in the summer as well when you could sit outside. Friendly family dogs.

    Paul2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mike's place was one of the best places I stayed in during my UK tour. It has got everything one would need. It's a good place to explore Anglesey and it's very close to Snowdonia aswell. Mike is a very friendly host. The place has got Caravans aswell and hence a large group could book the place. Thank you for the hospitality Mike.

    Bharat2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay - really nice facilities and super location ! Would recommend :)

    Jess2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Everything from start to finish was great. Decided to have a night away very last minute, Mike was very responsive and helpful - putting a camp bed into the bell tent for our daughter. The tent itself was very spacious (even with an extra bed) we arrived and were given a brief but descript tour of the facilities, the fire was on, and it was all very cosy. My husband had concerns that it may of been cold, but it was the opposite - we found ourselves turning off the electric blanket during the night! We will definitely be returning later in the year when the nights are lighter so we can sit out and enjoy the view.

    Justine2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • You have to come here!! It was absolutely amazing, the views to wake up to in the morning are outstanding. Easily located off the road, close enough to multiple different attractions. Warm and cosy inside the teepee too, definitely recommend.

  • We found Declan’s bungalow easy to find, thanks to good directions, and easy to access via key lock. He kept in regular contact with us and invited us to message if we had any questions/concerns, which we didn’t, as everything was easy to understand and follow. We were hugely impressed by the cleanliness, spaciousness and modern touches to the bungalow. There was a nautical theme, very well done. Great that there is a fridge and separate freezer, microwave, kettle and oven. There were jams, butter, bread, crisps and cereal left for us, which we used! My husband said thank you for the Welsh butter! There were also a number of towels left for our use and toiletries. The area was very quiet and convenient for towns such as Beaumaris, and local tourist attractions nearby. Our favourite place in Anglesey is Moelfre and it was only about 20 minutes by car. Good on road parking right outside the bungalow. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A sympathetic renovation of a 1772 built village home was completed in 2016, in the grounds of owner's home. This studio property has a double bed, table and chairs, a kitchenette and level access shower room. There is a multi fuel stove, background electric heating, wifi and TV /dvd. The kitchenette includes a fridge freezer, sink, toaster, kettle and microwave. Two well behaved dogs welcome at no additional charge. Smoke free. 2 miles from beach, restaurant, cafe, forest, shop.
This property does not have a cooker. Owners have two friendly dogs. On street parking in quiet village next to the property and space for 1 car on the driveway which also benefits from camera security.
Dwyran is a quiet Welsh village, situated just off the main coast road.
  • A fantastic little place to stay in a great location. Could not have wished for better hosts.

  • Our stay at Annie’s place was perfect. So cosy and friendly, and Annie and Rob were amazing. Nothing was too much for them and Rob was particularly helpful with lighting the fire when we needed it. Great place to stay which is nearby lots of great walks and beaches. Couldn’t rate it high enough. Thank you so much.

    Rebecca2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful two night stay. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Annie was very helpful and had kindly started the wood burner for us before we arrived so the cottage was lovely and warm. The cottage has a very cosy feel! We had been provided with tea/coffee, milk and welsh cakes which was lovely to arrive to. Annie was always available if we needed anything or needed to ask advice on where to visit. We would definitely recommend and would be very keen to go back ourselves.

    Kristie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little cosy getaway. Annie and Rob were so welcoming and provided us with lots of logs for the fire. TV had lots of options, Netflix iplayer, prime video etc. Great food recommendations! A car is a necessity due to the lovely nature surroundings it’s a bit far to walk to the shops. Thanks for a lovely stay!

There are swings at the far end of the field for children, a snug little area at the top of the hill for a picnic, or just the big open space for taking in that beautiful Welsh air! PLEASE NOTE:- Currently unsuitable for children under the age of 3. Unsuitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. No Pets. No Smoking.
The neighbourhood is a quaint little town that accommodates a convenience shop, a petrol station, post office, fish and chip shop and Chinese Take-Away. There is lovely Pub/Restaurant called the Gaerwen Arms that has been newly refurbished. We love it in there and would highly recommend visiting for an evening meal! There is also a fantastic bakery over on the industrial estate. (They make the best breakfast baps to take away on the island!). The Holland Arms Garden Centre is just around the corner. They have a lovely little cafe and are home to some beautiful gifts suitable for all the family.
  • We had a lovely stay, it was as expected and very clean and cosy! Lovely little getaway, stayed at a few lodges and this is one of my favourites. Fab hosts, and clear instructions/directions, thankyou for a perfect little break!

    Laura2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cosy cabin. It was sparkling clean, lovely and warm and had everything we needed. The Gaerwen arms was lovely too. It was only a 10 minute walk away. Thank you to Kate and Dale for hosting us.

  • Such a beautiful space, so tranquil and much bigger than we thought. The finishing touches are lovely. It was our anniversary weekend and Kate and Dale had even left a card and chocolates for us. Communication and directions to the cabin were great, and Jan checked us in quickly upon our arrival. The location is ideal to explore all of Anglesey and is a good base for Snowdonia too. Super clean and the comfiest of beds and sofa. We loved it here and will definitely be back!

  • The perfect, cosy getaway for my husband's birthday. Dale and Kate couldn't do enough for us and went the extra mile to decorate the cabin for my husband so we could celebrate in style. As soon as the door closed we were in a little bit of heaven with an awesome shower, great facilities and the most wonderful bed! We can't wait to go back: it has become our childfree escape! Thank you, thank you! X

    Lauren2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing space! It’s a lot bigger on the inside than the outside; very much like a tardis. Extremely clean, romantic and inviting. You will not be disappointed!

    Nev2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 4 days on the island to go hiking there. The accommodation was a great base. In addition to the comfort, it was very practical in the evening everywhere to take a walk. The check in and out was pleasantly uncomplicated.

  • We had an amazing stay. It was a nice private space in a beautiful area. It’s the perfect location for day trips to Snowdonia and was in a great little village with plenty to do. Would definitely recommend.

    Jean2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect! It is a 5 star airbnb for sure. Clean, modern, comfortable. The bed linens and towels are super high quality. The garden is really beautiful, and you can watch the moon from your bed. Highly recommended!

  • We had a lovely stay in a great property. Good communication with the host and plenty of thoughtful touches made it even better than we expected.

  • Beautiful, bright and clean apartment surrounded by greenery. Weather permitting, there would also be a private place for barbecues and for eating out. The nearby town has a wide selection of places. Attention for those with walking problems, the bedroom is on a mezzanine. Everything else is perfect.

My home is in a rural location ,a stone's throw away from Anglesey's most iconic beach,Llanddwyn ,on the island's beautiful West coast. This area is steeped in history and mythology, the home of Welsh Princes and legends. Magic stones and druids ,is this playground. On a Summer's night imagine yourself surrounded by millions of stars as you sit in my wild flower garden, the scent of wild honeysuckle mingling with the sea breeze, the bats dancing happy in the balmy Summer air.
The property is ideally situated for exploring beautifull beaches and secret coves. Close to the Anglesey coastal path. Easy access to Snowdonia it's rugged landscape and famous castles, Caernarfon approx 25 mins away and Conwy a 40 minute drive. The historic beautiful town of Beaumaris is close by . If it'surfing paradise you're after Rhosneigr is a 10minute drive. Also on my doorstep is the World famous Trac Mon which attracts speed enthusiasts both from motorcycling and motor sports. The property offers a double room, a shared kitchen and bathroom a large living room with Sky TV, super fast broadband. Kitchen equipment , you can use the microwave, toaster, kettle and the fridge is always well stocked for a continental breakfast if you so wish.
The surrounding area although rural does offer high class restaurants if that's what your after , the nearest being a 5 minute drive, the nationally acclaimed Maram Grass has been awarded many prestigious awards. Nearby Rhosneigr also boasts many fine dining experiences. A favourite of mine however is the small village pub in Aberffraw, The Crown which offers good quality food at a reasonable price and a chance to mingle with the locals!
  • Peace and beauty surround you. Anna is a genuine and welcoming host. The place is warm, clean and comfortable. Anna's healthy breakfasts are top quality. I can't speak too highly of our stay at Anna's home.

    Moira2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • My young daughter and I were welcomed into Anna’s house, like members of the family for the weekend, and invited to relax in the lounge and warm ourselves by the fire on the stormy evenings. Yet the privacy of our room and our comings and goings was also respected. There were lovely touches in our room like tea, coffee, fruit and homemade cake. The room itself was airy and very comfortable, with subtle individual design touches that made it feel more than a neutral hotel room but not like a busy room in someone else’s house either. It was perfect. And the bed was large and sumptuous and a pleasure to climb into. She had a quiet confidence and knowledge of the area and was happy to help with tips for places to eat and visit when we asked. The ‘Anna Jam’ at breakfast was a special homemade treat. A wonderful host.

    Leah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place could not have exceeded expectations more than it did… We were met at the door by the owner’s daughter who, despite it having been late, was very welcoming. She gave us a quick tour of the GORGEOUS house, let us know the kitchen was there for us to use, and took us upstairs to show us the room. The shared bathroom was large, heated nicely and clean. The room itself was wonderfully toasty on a very chilly wet night – large, and a lovely plate of fruit and biscuits was waiting for us on the desk. The bed is comfy and the décor lovely and inviting. The next day we were up and out, but came back for a nap before the race event. The owner of the home had since come home and was SO lovely! She offered tea or coffee and had made flapjacks to take with us for the race – how incredible is that??? We came back exhausted after 24 hours of long, arduous racing in very rough weather, and the house was the perfect one to come back to – comfortable, warm and she had left homemade soup and frittata there for us to partake in if wanted! All in all this was a perfect space to relax in – and difficult to leave!

  • This is a quirky and interesting space in an excellent location. Good value and having log fire made it a cosy space.

  • Absolutely incredible! We never met Ben, but we did meet his mum who gave us detailed tips and tricks and things to do whilst on Anglesey. Couldn't have felt more welcomed onto their beautiful land. The container itself was spotless and decorated perfectly. There were more than just the basics provided, which you often don't get in AirBnBs! We loved tending to the fire each night and having a wonderfully wholesome time. We will definitely be back!

Steve & Val are happy to offer one room with private entrance and en-suite bathroom at their bright, modernised cottage. Set in a quiet, rural location on the Isle of Anglesey this is an excellent base for exploring the island and Snowdonia, just 35 mins from Llandudno. Plenty of parking space. Gardens that include a pond, stream and small waterfall set in woodland with visiting wildlife. Outside Jacuzzi hot tub is available for an extra cost and by prior arrangement to allow refill and set up.
This is a private room within our home, which you are welcome to enjoy, although we ask you to respect our space and privacy. The room is locked from our cottage side and has private access via patios doors which open to the Jacuzzi Hot Tub and garden. Within the cost we provide breakfast cereals, yogurt & fruit and croissants or pastries. The room has tea and coffee making facilities. Sorry no pets and strictly no smoking.
We are close to Llangefni and the well known Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch and within easy reach of Menai Bridge, Bangor and Caernarfon. 15 minutes drive to Beaumaris and Newborough Nature reserve with its large sandy beach.
  • Incredible location, amazing hosts and a hot tub to die for. Really enjoyed our weekend trip to Steve & Val's despite storm Dennis. Great communication throughout the booking process, lovely people and so happy to have chosen this place. The little touches made the stay perfect, the fruit, the bottled water, the tea and coffee. Great value for money, wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you so much for a great stay!

    James2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect hosts. Accommodation spotless, very comfortable and peaceful. Was provided cereals, milk and even Welsh cakes. And to end each day being able to relax in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

  • Beautiful room and lovely people. The hosts could not be more helpful. Loved it and very happy. Thankyou

  • Really nice location and a lovely place to stay, just what we expected. Steve and Val were very helpful and kind, and the room had everything we needed. The hot tub was also really good especially as it was cold outside. I would definitely recommend.

    Jessica2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Steve and Val’s place is an absolute retreat! We went to climb Snowden and Val kindly printed us out directions how to get there. The hot tub was a special treat to relax our muscles after our trek! We can not recommend this place enough- so clean, the room smells divine and the bed is so comfy. Breakfast nutritious! We will definitely be back again!!!

    Olivia2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Steve and Val's 'get - away' cottage in the Welsh Hills an hour from Llandudno is perfect for travelers wishing calm, peace and quiet. The facility is very comfortable and private, but the hosts are close by on site should their guests need assistance. The included breakfast - the equivalent of a full English - was hot and delicious and served in our room (a nice touch). We highly recommend this facility, and also Steve and Val as hosts. Five stars all 'round!

    James2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended, beautiful spot in the countryside surrounded by wildlife, birds, butterflies, pheasants, squirrels, rabbits and even bats at night! Lovely to watch the bats fly around at sun down in the hot tub! Steve and Val are so approachable and very thoughtful! We always went back to the hot tub temperature turned up for us as the nights are getting chilly now, bins emptied and supplies topped up for us each time! I have so much trust in Val and Steve, I have so much respect for them going well out their way to make our weekend stay that much more greater! Lovely pub walking distance of 35 minutes over the bridge and threw the science park! We hope to stay with Steve and Val on our next visit!

The Caravan is hidden in the Orchard area of the one acre field to the side of the house. This a 6 berth caravan with double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms. Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. Shower room and toilet. Patio table and chairs outside. Toadstool Korner for little ones and a swing and slide at the bottom of the garden. There are also 'quiet time' areas in the large garden, a bench near the swing and a gazebo on the mound.
Private area with facility for outside dining. Set in one acre field, which is available to picnic, barbeque, play games. Safe for children and animals. Garden swing and slide, Toadstool Korner, Gazebo, table and chairs (Please park either on the field, or you can drive into the walled area, unless the weather has been quite wet, in which case, please park on the hard standing and cross the field on foot.) We would suggest you do this initially to unpack, but then leave your car in the field beside the van, to enable you to make the most of the patio space with the walled garden. There is a dustbin around the back of the van and a blue container for re-cyclable waste. We will empty these.
The village of Gaerwen is situated just about 6 minutes over Britannia Bridge. Although the house is sandwiched between the A5 and the A55, it is very private and ideal as a base to travel the island and close mainland. The village has 2 shops, open long hours, so you never need run out of anything. They host a post office, 2 cashpoint machines, newsagent and off-licence each. There are 3 local pubs/restaurants within walking distance, (The Gaerwen Arms, a local pub/restaurant in the village serves excellent food and is well worth a visit. We would suggest booking, a large garden centre serving nice food, coffees and delicious cakes, a great chippy, a chinese restaurant, a hairdresser and a childrens' play park. There is a petrol station in the village, making it a perfect place for all your immediate needs. Anglesey has a host of sight-seeing places for you to visit, whether you just want to tour or you are interested in the many sporting activities available. A great place for people of all ages.

In central Anglesey, the quiet village of Llangristiolus is ideally located for visiting the beautiful island as well as being close to Snowdonia and other North Wales areas. Rhos y Ffordd is a 200 year old cottage extended over the years, and the space is a large ensuite bedroom with attached sitting room accessed through a shared front door. The bedroom overlooks the garden which guests are welcome to use for relaxing and barbeque in fine weather.
You will have a private bedroom and separate sitting area; the sitting room is equipped with kettle, toaster and fridge. We provide some food items (bread, cereal, milk etc) as well as crockery and cutlery, tea and coffee, so you can prepare a breakfast, but there are no facilities for cooking in the space.
Llangristiolus is a quiet rural area , there is a pub serving food within 10 minutes walk, and plenty of other resturants and bars a short drive away in many of the nearby villages and towns.
  • My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for the Race of Remembrance at Trac Môn, and stumbled across this place after a bit of searching. It was 15 minutes away from the track along some twisty Welsh B-roads, and not too far from the main road, perfect for us. However, when we got there we almost didn't want to leave. The two cosy rooms were so homely and welcoming, decorated with little touches to make the area seem like a little slice of home. Everything was spotless and well kept, well lit and comfortable, with a mattress so soft and warm it was hard to leave. The bathroom was immaculate, sparkling and gleaming, with little craft soaps and well thought-out storage areas, it was obvious a lot of thought was put into everything and even more pride was taken to make sure everything was just so. The amenities were excellent with a well-stocked mini fridge and continental breakfast, perfect to get up and out into the cold, and a TV with Sky gave us something to relax after a day of hard graft. Nothing was too much trouble for Sioned and Gareth: All we had to do was ask. They were always interested and keen to hear about the goings-on of our day, even offering painkillers after a particularly strenuous night at the circuit. All in all, we had a wonderful time and wanted for nothing, we are even discussing going back during the summer for a long weekend away, just to explore more of Anglesey, see the hosts again, and stay in that sumptuous bed of course.

    Doug2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We have been very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The bed is just incredible, it was even hard to wake up :) They also offer free breakfast in a small private living room that was very much appreciated. There is everything we needed to spend a great weekend. Thanks again

  • A great place to stay and excellent value. Well stocked fridge, Sky TV in your own private sitting room - great hosts, ideal central location for touring Anglesey.

    Ian2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely new bedroom and shower room(high quality towels and toiletries provided) with nice little TV sitting/eating area with the added bonus of having the full Sky package. Plenty of food and drink provided for breakfast, only downside was the fridge being a bit on the small side making it difficult to chill the wine and beers without taking other stuff out. Kettle and toaster provided and tray left to leave the dirty plates and cutlery which was taken away each day and washed ready for next day - nice touch.Plenty of room for off road parking and nice patio/barbecue area outside to enjoy if the weather is nice. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great during our stay but they put the central heating on as soon as it was requested, they also provided us with an additional fan heater in case they were out making us self sufficient. They gave us good advice on eating out and were always ready to chat and have a bit of a laugh with us. Won't hesitate to stay there again if we have another Anglesey short break.

    Raymond2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a home from home this ticks the boxes. I was comfortable and able to relax in this lovely air bnb. Nothing is too much trouble for Sioned and it was great to be able to make breakfast and snacks each day. I hope to be back some day.

  • This is a lovely small apartment within easy reach of Llangefni with places to eat out. Also short drive to the SW Anglesey coast for the beaches and Coast Footpath. Sioned and Gareth have been very thoughtful with all the bits and pieces they leave for your stay, breakfast things as well as toiletries in the bathroom. I will definitely be staying again, Julia

Enjoy the comfort of our mixed modern vintage house. around the house you'll find guitars and musical instruments, and house plants. Upstairs is completely carpeted and makes it very cosy. The room you will be staying in is right next to the bathroom, so you need not worry about disturbing us if you need to go in the night! Felinheli is a great central location, it is right by the beautiful national park of Snowdonia, a couple of miles from Caernarfon where I grew up, famous for its castle!
Our place is on the lovely Helen terrace. We live high up in the village of felinheli, an old port village. Standing outside , or on the decking across a small road, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the famous Menai strait. Our house is very homely, we haven't lived here long but have done our best to make our house as comfortable for you as possible.
  • Nice place, lovely location, very relaxed style.

  • William's place was an amazing experience. The house is adorable, and the room is nice and spacious, with an additional 'sun' room attached to it. The bed is comfortable, the accompanying kettle and hot drink tray was a wonderful addition for my early morning routine. Will and Ori were also really friendly and super helpful with giving suggestions for hiking options while completely respectful of my privacy. I would highly recommend this gorgeous space and I can't wait to hopefully visit again during the warmer season so I can really enjoy the gorgeous landscape surrounding this area.

It is completely private and an ideal spot for a barbecue on a sunny day or just unwind anytime and admire the views. * The caring owners live nearby but not intrusively, guests will be welcomed with freshly baked cakes and eggs from their own hens.  * Situated in the centre of the island, this is a perfect location for exploring and is an ideal property for couples or friends to enjoy. This is a great cycling area - bring your bikes and keep them in the shed next to the chalet.

A pretty little cottage in the heart of Menai Bridge. A stone’s throw away from the many shops, restaurants and pubs - and everything else the town has to offer, yet in a quiet location. Recently renovated and equipped to a high standard. The Menai Strait is a short walk away.
Comprising a large living/dining area with beams and a log burner, there is ample room for guests to enjoy the comfortable surroundings. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom, with underfloor heating, provides a choice of shower or bath. There are two good sized bedrooms, one with a super-king and the other with a king sized bed...and extra space can be found in our ‘Cwtch’ which features a sofa-bed, an array of books, a CD player and TV. There is a small lawn to the right of the cottage (as you look at it) which, whilst not enclosed, is for the exclusive use of guests. There is wi-fi throughout. Parking is in the public car park right next to the garden entrance to the cottage. £3 payable per day.
Menai Bridge is fast becoming known as the foodie capital of Anglesey. With superb beaches at every turn and several places of interest and activities all within easy reach, Menai Bridge is the perfect base to explore the island.
  • There's not much to say about the beautiful Hawthorn Cottage other than it's simply 'perfect'! I'd like to keep it a secret so I can have it all to myself, lol. But seriously, guests will want to come back time after time, like I do, there's nothing to fault! Thank you Caryl & Steve, wonderful hosts. xx

    Barbara2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was beautiful inside the pictures do not do it justice, fully equipped and very clean, great location to Menai’s bars and restaurants, central for exploring Anglesey, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it to others

  • Perfect long weekend break but we could have stayed a lot longer. Felt very at home. Kitchen was fully equipped with lovely thoughtful touches. Photo’s do not do it justice. Living room space was lovely and comfy with the log burner on. Great 3 min walk to the main road in Menai with great food spots. Had some good recommendations from the neighbour who has access through the garden space to his garden. Friendly guy. Great for costal dog walks, several different walks we found on google all 20 mins ish away. We didn’t want to leave :)

  • Highly recommended. We had the most amazing time and the house is so cosy and full of every home comfort we could have possibly wanted! And the location was perfect for getting to all that newborough has to offer. We also very much enjoyed your thorough and entertaining information book! I've no doubt we will be back in the future

  • Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Communications with Dave excellent. Cottage was comfortable, warm, very clean and well equipped. It is in an excellent location for visiting Llanddwyn Island the main reason for our trip. Lots of other interesting places to visit nearby. Would definitely return if visiting Anglesey in the future.

    Chris2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend this air bnb. The property was ideally located for our stay with short drive to the beach and short walk to a local restaurant (The Marram Grass). The host kept us well informed during booking and during the stay and supplied a detailed info booklet within the property that answered any questions we may have. The property is perfectly cosy with great stove all ready to fire up on our arrival. The linen was clean, beds comfortable, showers hot. The property was filled with all the things you would need from pots, pans, spices and sauces, cook books, towels, soaps and the lost goes on. Quiet location. Highly recommended.

    Luke2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the cottage with our three young children age 8, 6 and 18 months .Before we arrived we got very detailed Info about how to get there and where best to park . David was great throughout , there was prosecco and flowers when we arrived , an amazing information folder and answered any questions quickly .The cottage is near to a shop , cafe , pub and chippy but also very near to an amazing nature reserve and beach .As we were there in Feb it was great to come back to a log burner and Netflix !The cottage had everything we needed , was very well equipped and there was loads for the kids to do very nearby .we loved it and will no doubt be back .

    Mandy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is simply perfect, we'd recommend it to anyone. Newborough is the ideal location to explore Anglesey from, the cottage is in the middle of the village, walking distance from everything you need, including the forest and the beach. The space itself is warm and welcoming, the kitchen is really well equipped and we felt at home immediately. The lounge is superb, cosy sofas, a roaring log fire and beautiful original features. David was a great host, communicated by text message and made checking in and out very easy. He also left a few gifts for us to make us feel welcome, which we certainly did!

  • This was our first stay at No.3 and as others have said about Lona, she’s an amazing host that really thinks about her guests and we will definitely return. From the woolly Christmas socks for the kids to the champagne and chocolates for the adults, she thinks of everything. A great space for a cosy few days, with really friendly neighbours and an amazing pub around the corner, and minutes from the A55 so super convenient. Can’t recommend Lona or No.3 highly enough. Thanks!

    Tim2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay, with great connections across the whole island. Nothing is more than a 40 minute drive away so you can really explore Anglesey!

    Adell2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our short stay at No. 3. The cottage is a great space and the location is very good. Lona was very quick to respond to messages and the welcome pack was a very nice addition. The food and atmosphere in the Gaerwen Arms is highly recommended too!

    David2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lona’s place is perfect! A cosy and modern cottage that had everything you could ever need. A thoughtful welcome pack when you arrive and the place is immaculate! What a place to relax in front of a log burning fire with a bottle of wine. The kitchen is a good size and is more than well equipped. There’s everything you need to cook meals and plenty of space to do it. The cosy little dining area at the back of the house was nice too. The bathroom has a good size shower with a separate stand alone, DEEP bath and just like the rest of the house, the bathroom was immaculately clean too. Lona contacted us by text and email before we arrived with helpful info and although we had no problems, I’m sure she would be there for you if you did. The house is on the main road through the village but it’s very quiet with little traffic. There is a petrol station with a shop less than a minutes walk away and a pub around the corner. It’s a great location to explore Anglesey. I recommend Llanddwyn Island. To sum up, I cannot fault this place or Lona as a host and the sooner I’m back, the better.

Enjoy quite literally this little bit of paradise. Set in the stunning, unspoilt south west corner of Anglesey, overlooking the Snowdonia mountains and Llyn peninsula, our custom-made shepherd's hut offers you a genuine get- away from it all experience! It's a real shepherd's hut with our friendly sheep nearby, ducks, chickens and loads of open space to explore and relax in. This is a true 'off grid' stay, complete with eco- composting toilet, wood-burning stove, and working small-holding.
The view here is breathtaking and this with the sense of retreat is what we most want guests to experience. There's no wifi, so you can disconnect from the busyness for a while and reconnect with family and friends. This is glamping, built by us and our friends to make the most of the view, but without cutting corners on comfort and style. We have designed the space so that there's an option for up to four people to stay comfortably, with one double bedroom and the living area seating that can be made up into a second double bed. There's a barbeque and outdoor seating as well as a campfire circle you can toast marshmallows on! In addition, there's a small gas stove for you to boil the kettle inside on those wet days which occasionally occur! You will be able to park your car nearby on our land after you've unloaded your things but we do have children and animals so we want to keep cars off the field and away from the communal areas. You will have use of the bathroom, shower and washing up facilities down in the main house which is a couple of minutes walk away. There's also a fridge/freezer for your use in the utility room. The shepherd's hut is located in a field up quite a sloped track and about 150 metres from the house. The composting toilet which we've affectionately nick-named 'loo with a view' sits alongside the hut. In colder months we will provide the first basket of logs and thereafter, by negotiation. We could happily accommodate tents for additional friends/family at £10 a tent/per night on request.
Anglesey is a small island off the North Wales coast and close to the mountains and sea. We are located about 3 miles from the nearest beach and close to the vast Newborough forest where you can often spot red squirrels. Llanddwyn island is just on the doorstop as well which is a favourite for walkers, wind-surfers and photographers and has miles of safe, sandy beach. There are plenty of family attractions in the area including the sea zoo, Foel farm and the famous Halen Mon (Anglesey sea-salt ). Alternatively, if walking is your thing, the Anglesey coastal footpath offers a manageable challenge. If you want a lazy morning strolling around the little towns and villages, you can finish up in one of the many welcoming coffee shops where you can stop and watch the world go by. There are 3 supermarkets 12 minutes drive away and the A55 is very easily accessible.
  • My boyfriend and I had a fabulous time at Karen's Shepard's hut, the location is superb as the views are incredible! The hut has everything you need for a peaceful countryside getaway and we had a gorgeous evening roasting marshmallows over the firepit :) we would highly recommend this place. Karen's communication was great and the directions advised were very helpful.

  • What a wonderful place! What wonderful hosts. The Shepherds Hut is just fabulous! And that view; just stunning. It's a real little escape (but with good 4G 😉). Karen and Rachel have thought of everything ,all the little extra touches make it really luxurious! The bed was super comfy - we slept really well. The outside fire pit was great, we had a lovely evening sat by a roaring fire. The 'loo with a view' was brilliant. The bathroom at the main farmhouse was really good and impeccably clean. We will definitely be back! Thank you Rachel and Karen and family.

    Claire2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of 4 had a wonderful couple of nights. Highlights for us were the campfire sessions, star gazing, peace and quiet and wonderful views of Snowdonia. We had sun, rain & wind, but the accommodation was so comfortable that we enjoyed every minute!

  • This place was just perfect, definitely recommend. Such a comfortable and great use of space, my little little girl loved it

    Matt2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful AirBnB experience. The Shepherd’s Hut is just amazing. Such a clever use of space with a great living/bedroom area along with a cozy, and very comfortable, separate bedroom. The hut has everything you need and more during your stay. Outside is a BBQ along with the Eco “Loo with a View”!!! Down the hill, at the main house, there was a fridge/freezer, sink and our own separate shower/toilet facilities which were of a very high standard (and most welcome after a day at the beach!!!). Karen, Rachel and the whole family were lovely hosts. Great communication and very welcoming/friendly. Location is perfect.Easy to find a great base for all that Anglesey and North Wales has to offer. Finally for those who can’t live without Tech (like me!!!), there may not be WIFI but there is a very strong 4G signal!! Do not hesitate and make sure you book this.

Centrally positioned on the fabulous island of Anglesey is our home in the beautiful village of Talwrn. We are close to Benllech’s stunning blue flag beaches and 3 miles from Red Wharf Bay. The historic market town of Llangefni is 5 minutes away by car which has an excellent selection of shops and cafes and public houses and direct access onto the A55 which gives you easy access to Holyhead Port the gateway to Ireland and The Snowdonia National Park and North Wales.
We have two newly decorated and beautifully furnished bedrooms, with new furniture and beds with new pocket sprung memory foam mattresses. They are also equipped with 32” led flat screen TVs with built in DVD players. Hospitality tray and latest USB sockets for charging phones etc. Both rooms have ample sockets. We have full WiFi coverage across the whole property. Guests have use of a private lounge dining/breakfast area where a continental style self service breakfast is available. This leads out to a private patio for guest use with patio furniture and a fire pit.
Having spent several years holidaying on Anglesey we decided in 2017 that we were going to relocate here. Talwrn is a small village mid way between Llangefni and Pentraeth. We are 5 mins drive to Llangefni which has all the day to day amenities you would require. It is also home to the Dingle nature reserve which has a walk through the valley and the Cefni reservoir which is approx 9 miles long. Famous for its red squirrels . We are 3 miles from Red Wharf Bay which encompasses the holiday resorts of Benllech, Lligwy Beach, Llandona, Pentraeth, and Moelfre. We are also 15 mins drive from both Beaumaris and it’s Castle and Pier and boat trips and Menai and it’s famous bridge and Restaurants.

  • Peloton House was the perfect place to return to every night after full day of sight-seeing! It is tucked in a quiet neighborhood and centrally located from all of the island's many attractions. The bedroom was so cozy--clean, very comfortable bed, plenty of space, great Wifi connection, a drawer full of toiletries in case I forgot anything, and a lovely spread of tea, fruit, biscuits, and more right in the room! That's in addition to the delicious breakfast in the dining area each morning that included toast, pancakes, crumpets, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, hot drinks, and juice. Claire also graciously accommodated my gluten and dairy intolerances which I really appreciated. Claire was an amazing host-- kind, warm, fun, there when you need her, and extremely helpful with giving tips on what to see and do while in Anglesey. I couldn't have been happier with my stay!

With a panoramic view of the Menai Straights looking towards the Isle of Anglesey, a stones throw away from the centre of historic town of Caernarfon, and a short drive away from the heart of the Snowdonia mountain range. Here we have a spacious 2 bed apartment, a modern and fresh place to be. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the option of a fold away single, whilst the kitchen and living room are shared and the sunsets from the balcony are spectacular.
The flat comes with a balcony overlooking the straights, which has outdoor seating and a BBQ so you can enjoy your evenings socialising, eating and having fun. The open plan kitchen & diner comes equipped with a convection/grill microwave, a dishwasher and tea and coffee, there is also a comfortable sofa with a coffee table and a large TV. There is ample parking available at the property. Unfortunately, there is no wheelchair access to the property.
There is a lovely neighbourhood café and a wonderful Tapas located in the marina. If you prefer your traditional pub grub or bistro, the Garddfon is our recommendation.
  • The Lookout is of a very high standard with great views. Everything is provided for an enjoyable stay. Easy check-in and out via a lockbox. The hosts are available should you have any questions. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Newborough, Anglesey. A recently renovated annexe to our main house, with its own separate entrance. Downstairs there is large sitting room with dining area. Patio doors open into the garden. There is also a bathroom and small open plan kitchen. A staircase leads upstairs to the spacious bedroom with ensuite shower room. The bedroom has a large picture window with panoramic views towards Snowdonia, Caernarfon, the Menai Strait and the Llyn Peninsula (not to mention our lovely garden!).
The annexe is a self-contained unit at the far end of our house, with its own separate entrance. It is connected to the main house by a door at the top of the stairs, but this is kept securely locked by 2 doors, has additional soundproofing and is bolted on the guest side, for complete security and reassurance. The small kitchen leads off from the main seating area and has cooking facilities with cooker (oven, grill and hob), microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, fridge and a small dishwasher. We have recently added a new breakfast bar. The downstairs sitting area is light and spacious with patio doors leading out into the garden. There is a smart TV with built in DVD player. We offer a range of DVDs and some games for your use. There is good wi-fi and phone reception throughout the annexe. There is a downstairs bathroom with bath and separate shower. A flight of stairs leads from the sitting room up to the bedroom and en-suite shower room. The bedroom has a cosy sitting alcove and there is also a paperback library here. The bedroom itself has a large picture window with views towards Snowdonia, Caernarfon, the Menai Strait and the Llyn Peninsula. On cooler days, heating is provided by storage heaters. We provide a small welcome pack to provide you with some breakfast basics to set you up on your first day. We also provide 2 pods per day for use in the Nespresso machine, but if you are a bit of a coffee addict, please bring additional pods with you.
We are on a hill in a quiet country lane, but a 5 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) from the village of Newborough with its local facilities (village pub, chip shop, convenience store, curios/gift shop and chiropodist). In addition to the cosy and friendly Red Squirrel cafe in the village, there are also cafes at the transport museum (Tacla Taid) and the model village on the outskirts of town, along with the highly rated Marram Grass restaurant. A little further afield there's a great choice of places to eat to cover all tastes and budgets. Newborough Forest and Beach is a brisk 40 minute walk away (but less than 10 minutes by car). It is also possible to leave your car and go walking straight from our gate, with a selection of walks on public footpaths through lanes and fields (waterproof footwear advised and an OS map is handy). Based in the South West corner of Anglesey, we are the perfect base for heading off in all directions, be it Newborough beach, Beaumaris, Rosneigr, South Stack or even back to Snowdonia on the mainland (several of our guests have used the annexe as a base for visiting Snowdon).

Modern, comfortable interior with a relaxing holiday feel. Perfect for resting and recharging batteries. Very well equipped home from home with a safe enclosed rear garden that is perfect for sunbathing or relaxing in after a day at the beach. The bungalow is located on a quiet, safe, private cul de sac ideal for young children with a local park within walking distance too. The stunning Newborough Forest is a short 10 minute drive away and the towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris are nearby.
This lovely little warm cottage welcomes you to the beautiful island of Anglesey. With quaint seaside towns and historic castles, Snowdonia on the doorstep I'm more than happy to help you plan your stay.
Quiet neighbourhood within the village of Llanddaniel Fab. The village has a community atmosphere which is based around the local school and park all within walking distance. Ten minutes walk away is Bryn Celli Ddu - an ancient burial ground is a lovely walk across fields into the countryside. The village with the longest name which the locals shorten and refer to as Llanfair PG is a five minute drive and we'll worth a visit. For the non drivers - Local bus routes take you to Bangor and Llangefni
  • Excellent location. Highly recommend.

  • What a lovely little find! Nice and secluded with a fenced small garden. Ingrid as decorated it for our Christmas stay and the toddler enjoyed the box of toys. Everywhere was super clean and there was even a pint of milk left in the fridge ready to refresh us after a long drive - a super thoughtful touch! Lots of interesting places to see near by and Ingrid had listed the "must sees" for us. We didn't actually meet Ingrid during our stay as she wasn't well but she kept in touch on the messanger and we found everything we needed in her guest information pack!

Tastefully converted barn/granary building in a rural location abounding with wildlife.
Cosy, stone built, slated cottage with real beams, ideal for a relaxing break in a true country-cottage feel.
Dylan's property is within a mile of Menai Straits Area of Out-standing Natural Beauty. It is approximately half a mile from the small village of Brynsiencyn, with a shop, post office and village pub, and four miles from the famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll...……… Guests can easily access all of Anglesey's amenities, beaches, National Trust Properties, coastal paths and other wonderful scenery. • This place is idyllic, the cottage itself, the amenities, the location. 10/10

  • Lovely cottage for 2 with good facilities - it is an old cottage but the standard inside is very good. All the basics were great - warm enough, good bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and fast WiFi. It made for a perfect base for our short stay in Anglesey. Thanks Dylan.

    Ian2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay - quiet and relaxing. It is ideally placed for families as the sea zoo and pili palas are both close. It was also easy to get out to Newborough forest and the beach and there are lovely coastal walks right on the doorstep. Dylan was really helpful and gave us a few suggestion of what we could do. The house was clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend and will look to come back in the summer!

    Dan2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy cottage with everything you could need. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. Short drive from the Menai Strait and Newborough Beach. Good communication with Dylan and his family.

My home was built in the 1880’s and has recently undergone extensive restoration and modernising! I have decided to rent out the spare room on Airbnb as I enjoy meeting new people and share some knowledge about are in which i grew up. The bedroom has a double bed, clothes rail, with towels and bed linen provided. The bathroom has a bath and shower and is shared with myself. I have stayed at several Airbnb properties myself and value those small touches to make your stay comfortable.
The house is located in the popular village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!!! I can teach you how to pronounce it! It’s very central, perfect public transport links for the isle of Anglesey and also to Snowdonia and the City of Bangor. The train station is a couple of minutes walk away. We are also within walking distance to a small supermarket and huge gift/home/cafe store - they have a great selection of pick n mix!! Although I work during the day I’m more than happy to sit over a coffee of an evening and give you some tips or share some knowledge and teach you some Welsh!! Equally I like my privacy and a chilled night in so respect your wishes to enjoy your own company.
We live in a quiet village, where lots of young families live but tourists also enjoy visiting. Isle of Anglesey is a beautiful part of North Wales, we have lots of lovely beaches and Snowdonia National Park is a stunning area of natural beauty where you can enjoy a load of great walks. There is a park opposite the house, great for young children.
  • Very clean place to stay and lovely friendly host

  • We booked a carriage at this campsite at the end of the season. It was phenomenal! It is a cosy, quirky and homely space. It had an open fire and a warm, cosy bed. It was the perfect base to explore Anglesey and North Wales. We will definitely consider returning the next time we're in the area!

  • We loved it here was just what we needed, some time away to relax! The glamping pod had a very homely touch even with the weather being miserable outside we were so cosey in the little pod! We originally went down to do the Titan zip slide but that got cancelled due to the weather conditions, however there was plenty other things to do around the area 👍🏼. Our accommodation was very clean and tidy and we would certainly come back again!

  • From our arrival on Friday evening to leaving on Sunday morning, we had the most amazing visit to Honey Bee Cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean, well organised, warm and calm and it instantly felt like home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need and the basket of bread, eggs and bara brith was absolutely delicious. Mike and Gudrun are such welcoming hosts who go the extra mile. It was great feeding the pigs and meeting the lovely dogs Jet and Ted. Mike’s advice and knowledge of the area and where to visit is superb. Thank you for a gorgeous weekend, we will definitely be back!
