The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

This cozy retreat is located on my family’s century-old farm at the base of the picturesque Beaufort Range. Bright, modern, and surrounded by open fields and forest, it’s especially well suited for longer stays while you hike, explore the valley, and the rugged west coast beyond. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created.
