This charming Mermaid's Lair is steps away from a quaint quiet picturesque beach. The home is close to the Shining Sea bike path, many great restaurants, mini golf, hiking, ferry to Martha's Vineyard and much much more! We have bikes and kayaks! (must sign liability waiver to *update- to keep guests safe we are extending vacant time between stays and taking extra sanitation precautions.
This is a 2nd floor apartment in an old historic Cape home. There is 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a futon and toddler bed in the living room. The home is located in a quiet family neighborhood of summer homes, close to many beautiful beaches. The home is rustic and older but really cute and clean. Walk to beaches with the kayaks, or take the bikes for a ride around to neighborhood! Home is best suited for two adults and kids. Three adults would work if the third is okay with sleeping on a futon. Suspension bed is not for anyone over 50lbs. 4th of July week is the best week to rent! There is a big parade in the morning and a great fireworks show at night!
The beautiful beaches, abundant wildlife, wild flowers, birdwatching, sailboats going by make it a perfect summer getaway.
  • Perfect little place to stay in the area! We came in March for business so we didn't really have a chance to enjoy the weather or the area but it's really close to everything you could need. It seems like it would be an amazing place in the warm weather as well. For us, it was perfect for a business trip in winter.

    Jennie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little upstairs apartment only a few blocks from the water. The main bed was very comfortable and my friend who slept on the futon said it wasn’t bad either. Internet worked great and the desk in the bedroom was perfect for working from a laptop. I think this I’m place is a great value!

  • Awesome place, super clean and made you feel like you were at home. Very good location

    Maddy2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • The beach is really close by and is beautiful and calm, great place for sunsets. The house was perfect for our family of three and we would definitely book again. And we used the washer dryer quite a lot.

  • Great time, perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend!

    Kellie2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here four nights in early January 2020. Cozy and comfy place, clean and well organized. Kitchen has lots of equipments for cooking. Nice view to sea from bedroom window. Check-in was easy and communication worked well with Catie and Abe. Very positive experience ... we will check the availability when planning the next visit to Cape.

    Teemu2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent value for money! We had a great time at Catie's place. Very close to the water, and some of the areas historic towns. We loved our stay and found our host to be very responsive and helpful. Overall, great experience!

This small, stand-alone, studio cottage offers everything you need for a unique, nautical Cape Cod experience. It's located right on Main street in South Yarmouth close to beaches, restaurants, shops and the grocery store. It's been newly remodeled and offers complete privacy both inside and around the front deck. It's the ideal getaway for 2 people.
The cottage is VERY small but makes great use of space. The queen sized bed has a custom frame that allows storage of luggage underneath and there is a closet and cabinets let you unpack completely. The kitchen is small, but usable with cookware and all the basics. Comfy linens and sheets make for great mornings as does the complete privacy, valued ceilings w/fan, big windows and bright light. But not to worry, light darkening shades keep it nice and cozy until you're ready to brew your first pot of coffee. The unit is set back from the street and the adorable little deck area is surrounded by decorative trees that offer complete privacy.
This unit is located in the center of South Yarmouth on a large lot and is just steps away from Rt. 28. A small shopping center is right across the street and includes the Hearth & Kettle restaurant (highly recommended), which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also an ice cream place across the street as well as dozens of other places nearby. The beaches are very close. You can get there in 10 minutes by bike, 30 minutes walking, 5 driving or you can take the local bus that picks up nearby. I've been told by residents of the area that the 2 hotels right across Rt. 28 are not strict about their pool access, but you didn't hear it from me! LOL
  • Monica’s place is very clean, comfortable and convenient. We had a lovely stay at this small cottage! The bed is comfortable and the location is nice. I would stay again!

    Caitlin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Went for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. This place was perfect for that. It was plenty of space for the two of us and had everything we needed to spend the weekend in the house. It was so clean when we got there and the sheets are so comfortable. Also it is in a very nice location next to plenty of stores and activities. I can’t wait to book our next getaway.

    Cynthia2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Was a perfect fit for 2 people, we stayed for 28 days and it was great! A short drive from the beaches and is literally just a short walk from a grocery store!

    Kathrine (Kadie)2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Monica is an amazing host and very fast at responding. First time experiencing a stay at a cottage and I would definitely return. Her place is relaxing, clean, comfortable, and good amenities for a cottage. Thank you so much for the stay.

This is the smaller of two cottages on the same Property and it's set in back of the larger cottage that faces street. This cottage has a private back yard with flag stone patio, firepit table, and grill. Beautiful remodeled Bathroom with washer dryer. The kitchen is well equipped but doesn't have a dishwasher. It has WIFI but not TV or Cable. It has a large bedroom with a queen, Daybed, and trundle under. Livingroom has a daybed as well. Well insulated. Snow removal Tenant responsibility.
  • Such a beautiful area with only a very short walk to the water. The place is a beautiful quiet place to get away. Scott is attentive and very good at communication. The set up of the cottage is very charming and perfect for a couple getting away for some down time or to explore the beauty of Cape Cod. Central located you’ll be able to explore most of what the Cape has to offer. Fantastic restaurants in the area to sit down to a delicious meal or laze around and utilize the kitchen to prepare something special. I will certainly stay again.

    Michael2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place to stay for a family with young kids, or a couple. Or solo! Comfortable and convenient. Scott’s very easy to get ahold of and very helpful!

    Corey2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little weekend getaway base right on the water! My trip was in February, but Scott's cottage would be a great spot during the warmer months (access to the beach, conveniently located on the Cape, etc). Scott was an excellent communicator in terms of response time/clarity of instruction...and definitely earned bonus points for sharing some his oyster haul!

    Natalie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little cottage.

    Jana2020-02-13T00:00:00Z

East Sandwich Beach is famous for its huge sand bars at low tide. Cottage isn't far from Scorton Creek known for its fishing. Bring along a kayak or rent one locally to paddle Cape Cod Bay.
  • We stayed for a week in July at this small cottage. The kitchenette was helpful and we used the grill a lot. We loved having the picnic table on the deck for meals. It's a stone's throw from the beach. The fans were a plus! Campfires on the beach were magical at night.

    Kristen2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cottage that is steps away from the beach.

    Tyler2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great vacation, only steps form the water. We had fires on the beech every night. I will enjoy this cottage again if I ever have another chance to stay on Cape Cod.

  • Great Cottage in a great location. My best friend and I spent a week a sight seeing around Cape Cod. The weather was a bit chilly, but the cottage was toasty warm. The only complaint (not really) is there is no clear path from parking to front door so sand is tracked into the house every time you return. We would definitely return!

    Jennifer2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and steps from the beach. Everything was perfect!!

    Matthew2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this cottage for 10 days and absolutely fell in love with it. It could not be any closer to the beach without being underwater! The beach itself is gorgeous and almost totally deserted (in April) so we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sandwich is also a great spot and very convenient for day trips in the Cape and to other parts of MA. The place was clean, and exactly as advertised and the screen room is particularly lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Aruna’s place was perfect for us! It was exactly as described, clean and equipped with what we needed and in a great location. Aruna was easy to communicate with and gave great local tips!

  • This is our second stay here. We love this tiny home! It's stylish, comfortable and has everything one might need including heat, a washer/dryer, a full kitchen and an outside spot for the dog. There are different areas to eat, hang out and sleep with a sliding barn door to close off the bedroom for privacy. And Aruna's awesome--quick to respond to questions and great at communicating, she even offered us a late checkout time without us asking. We look forward to staying here again. Thanks Aruna!

    Catherine2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Aruna’s place is very pleasant and clean. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The bathroom is tiny, but you can do what you need to do. Overall, for a very small space, it’s well thought out.

Our Tiny House is a tiny converted small old barn. It sits on our property under a 200 year old tree. Think of it as a cross between Glamping and Rustic Cottage and an old Camp. It's on the site of our larger rental property, but separated by fencing and garden, so a private feel. You will have your own micro yard with fire pit and shade loving plantings of trees and ferns. There is a long path to reach it. If you don't like rustic or roughing it, then do not rent our Tiny House.
This IS a tiny house so expect small. Our Bathroom is very tiny and has a low ceiling (if you are over 6 feet be prepared to duck) however, we have amazing water pressure and lots of hot water. The stand up shower is more than ample for a tiny home stay. We are always trying to improve the place as well as do better at describing it. We have had a few guests who felt it was too hot or muggy, so we have added more AC unit which does indeed dehumidify and also really cool the tiny place down. We also keep getting guests who complain about some insects, despite our saying MANY times in the listing that it is an inevitability. I personally use a vacuum and get every corner of the little place ceiling and floor, but it is in a shady wood with many trees touching and abutting the property. It is also an OLD barn underneath the new insulation and drywayll, so bugs will just get there. They are not dangerous bugs, but an occasional harmless spider or an ant. If you cannot tolerate that do NOT rent our tiny house. However, we offer a very FAIR price for the area and those who have loved it, understood it as a sort of Camping cottage mixed with Tiny house. That is what this is. Again, cannot point this out enough, if you want super sealed in modern spa luxury, this is NOT the place for you. I just want to match people who appreciate the rustic cuteness I love and to put off anyone who does not like that. There is not point in trying it out if you are not into rustic. The house is a converted OLD tiny barn. So, though it has all new drywall and insulation, it sits under many trees in the shade so, despite thorough cleaning, bugs will reappear. Sometimes a spider in a corner and the like. Consider this a rustic camp stay and your expectations will be accurate. Do NOT rent this place and then leave a review saying you saw a bug, let me save you the time now. You will see a bug. We clean and vacuum every corner and under sofa and bed etc between guests, but this is under trees in a micro wood, so they will return. Again, if you like a rustic nature camp feel you will like this Tiny House. There is a lot of charm and joy in our little house and the guests who have LOVED it have been those who approach it as a tiny rustic cottage in the shade of large trees. A nice outdoor fire or a cosy place to watch a movie. We have a full size stove/oven a small size fridge, and a microwave and coffee maker. It really is a great little quaint spot to stay whilst visiting the Cape and all it has to offer. We are NOT a high end hotel that is hermetically sealed to all dust and bugs. We are NOT a roomy spacious spa with large tiled bathroom. If this is what you are looking for, do NOT book our Tiny House. The house is reached by a quirky little wooden gate under a pine tree. You then have to walk a curvy wooded path to the front door. I find it cute and hidden away, some might find it too rough. If you are someone who finds things 'too rough' do NOT book this house. DO rent Fern Cottage if you like rustic tiny home living. You don't mind an occasional spider. You like a quirky wooded path to the cottage but also conveniently on historic 6A so easy ON and OFF cape and to other destinations like 2 miles to beaches. Also a fun and rustic walk next door behind inn down a long wooded path to the Cape Cod Canal pathway (again a long wooded path, not a paved easy stroll) then please rent our tiny home.
This area of Sandwich/Sagamore is unique in that you can walk from our property to the field behind the Inn next door for a long but enjoyable walk to the cape cod canal walkway. It is an easy 2 mile drive to a beach, one of the few on the cape that doesn't require a beach permit. And downtown Sandwich is close by and has adorable shops and restaurants. We are also easy on and off Sagamore bridge to go off cape and about an hour from Boston if you want that in your trip as well.
  • Very cute, comfy, and private. An adorable cottage in a beautiful neighborhood!

    Rachel2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Cottage was a great place to stay while on the Cape for me. Very clean and well stocked. A very nice little place with all the comfort and amenities I needed. Very nice living room to relax in with TV service, good WiFi, kitchen with some snacks and water provided, comfortable bed and pillows. The outside area is nice and private from the main house as well with a fence and fire pit area. Directions and communication were very good, I did not see the homeowners during my stay, check in was a breeze. Check out is early at 10 am, would have preferred 11 am but it was no problem. Next time I am on the Cape I will stay farther as it is a bit far to drive to the rest of the Cape from here but a quiet and relaxing place to stay!

  • Great location and great value!

    Stephen2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Donna’s Tiny House was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a nice long weekend at the Cape. The location was close to great dining options, beaches and other Cape Cod activities (whale watch, shopping, etc.). The Tiny House was honestly bigger than we expected based on past reviews. I’m 6 months pregnant and my husband is 6’ tall and we had no problem with the space. The bathroom was small but not so small that we couldn’t comfortably do what needed to be done (we were expecting smaller based on past reviews). The house was immaculate when we arrived, as well and the outdoor space was like a cute secret garden with a fire pit. Donna was great and answered all of my questions about beach locations and amenities before the trip. We are still shocked by the low cost of this home, it’s unheard of to rent any type of space so inexpensively in Cape Cod. It was a perfect baby moon and we’d come back here (or to any of Donna’s other locations) in a heart beat.

    Maria2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's cottage (Tiny House) is a great value and it was spotlessly clean...conveniently located and very private.

    Alan2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • A cool, funky, private, basic, inexpensive place at the Cape. An updated mattress would make it the max.

  • Donnas little cabin in the woods is an incredible deal for being the middle of the summer on cape cod!! She responds so politely and quickly to any questions you may have and offers to come help if needed. Only thing to keep in mind: if you are extremely tall (over 6ft) or plus size it’ll be a tight squeeze for you. The cottage was very clean, had plenty of towels, and great shower pressure to help get all the beach sand off! Can’t beat the price!

  • This cottage was the perfect girls’ weekend getaway. Tom and Jim were both quick to answer any questions we had before we arrived. Check-in was a breeze, when Jim met us at the property, gave us a tour of his charming, immaculately cleaned house, and kindly took the time to share information about the area and neat things to see that tourists wouldn’t get from the internet. And we were there in March! My advice: Go where Jim suggests you go and eat where he suggests you eat and you’ll have a very special, one-of-a-kind vacation.

  • We had a wonderful early spring family getaway at the home. The house was wonderful, with a good selection of kitchen amenities. Indoor jacuzzi was a huge bonus, as we have little kids and could keep an eye out for them when they were sleeping. One note, if you are traveling with younger children and plan on using the bunk bed room, it is on the other side of the home, so a monitor may be a good thing to pack if you want to hear them at night. A wonderful stay all around!

  • Plenty of room for multiple people, has everything you could need to use while on vacation- a kitchen full of cook wear and utensils, an abundance of towels, beach chairs, games, etc an excellent place to stay while on the cape!

  • A wonderful experience. This top floor private entrance apartment with a private deck, in a residential location near town is perfect...is perfection. The sun splashed warm colored rooms with modern amenities assures ease and comfort during your stay. Your hosts are as friendly as you wish. My brief holiday was so restorative primarily because of the ambiance of this fine apartment.

    Frank2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Terry’s place was lovely. The layout was surprisingly spacious. My husband and I felt that we had plenty of space for solitary time and for time together. Colors, artwork, comfortable furnishings, nice views out of each window. The location is great, close to Commerce where all of the action is, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Terry and Joan couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. We’re already making plans to stay again in the fall.

    Jerrold2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is large and beautiful especially in Ptown where places can be miniscule. There's a full kitchen, plants everywhere, a really comfy king size bed, etc. I loved the space!

    Jason2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely space - relaxing and quiet. I loved every minute of being here, it's a short walk to the beach and to the town, and a lovely apartment to just relax in, with the most accommodating hosts.

    Hazel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing find! It was walking distance to everything on Commercial St, but out of the way enough that it was a quiet retreat when needed. The living space was great with plenty of room and warm touches throughout. Recommendations were also left for where to eat/go during the off season. Terry and Joan were very nice and quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

    Monique2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

Once in a lifetime experience to stay in a Lighthouse. Historic, unique and charming but with all of the conveniences that make a great vacation. Just feet from the Atlantic with 360 degrees of ocean view. Beautiful and memorable all year long.
The Wings Neck Lighthouse is an incredibly unique and historic property - completely renovated and now available for an unforgettable vacation. Formerly a US Coast Guard Lighthouse, the light tower still stands attached by a breezeway to a fully functional three bedroom keepers home. Guests can climb the mahogany spiral staircase and view the Atlantic from the lantern room, read about the history of the lighthouse and explore the rocky slopes around the property. Located at the tip of Wings Neck Point, the house has one of the most fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean ever experienced. Situated a few feet from the water, the vistas are beautiful and traditionally New England. Exploring the rocks and the shore in front of the house is always a guest favorite. The attached house is completely updated yet still maintains its historic charm. Once inside the entry way, the first floor consists of a living room with fieldstone fireplace which is open to a large eat-in kitchen. The kitchen also has a center island with breakfast bar. A comfortable family room has twin sofas (one pullout) and the TV/entertainment center. There are sleeping accommodations for eight. The house has three upstairs bedrooms (1 King, 1 twin set, 1 twin set) and a pullout Queen sofa in the family room. There is a full bath upstairs, a half-bath downstairs and an outdoor shower. Laundry is on the first floor. The kitchen has every amenity including dishwasher, microwave and lobster pot. A private gate makes the property available only to residents and their guests. There is a private beach for residents only. The house has spectacular water views from every window in every room. Because of the proximity to the Cape Cod Canal, interesting and unusual vistas of shipping and boating traffic are seen daily. The property faces West and enjoys a rare view of the sunset over the water nightly. Many of our guest have reported life changing moments when they experience the peace, beauty and serenity of this special property. Wings Neck Point maintains a private beach for residents but there are many other beaches worth visiting within a short drive. The small town of Pocasset is approximately three miles and has a few restaurants and convenience stores. Nearby Falmouth and Sandwich offer all the excitement of Cape Cod - beaches, shopping, sightseeing, great restaurants, history and the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Commonly Asked Questions: How many people can the property accommodate? Maximum occupancy is eight people. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a pull out sofa in the family room. How about bathroom and laundry facilities? There is a full bathroom upstairs with a tub and shower. Downstairs is a half bath with a washer and dryer. There is an outdoor shower. What is the minimum rental period? The minimum rental period is one week. Weekly rentals begin on Saturdays after 3PM and end the following Sat at 10AM. Occasionally we can accommodate a long week-end in the off season. Can you go up in the light tower? Yes. The lighthouse itself is attached to the home by a breezeway. It is accessed through a door in the family room. A spiral mahogany staircase takes you to the top of the light tower where you can climb a ladder to the glassed in area where the light was once housed. The view is great but we ask that you use caution in the light tower. What amenities does the house have? Two TV's with ROKU streaming and YouTube TV, wireless internet, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove, coffee maker, lobster pot, toaster, hair dryer, bikes, lawn chairs, beach toys, beach towels, etc. Are linens available? No, linens are not included. Most people bring their own, or if you prefer we can help you make arrangements to rent them. Are functions such as weddings allowed? We do allow small functions (40 people or less) under specific guidelines. Please contact us for particulars. Where do you swim? There is a private sandy beach for residents of Wings Neck Point approx 600 feet from the house. There is no life guard on the beach. You can also swim off the rocks directly at any point in front of the house. Some History: Wings Neck Light was built in 1849 because of heavy marine traffic traveling in Buzzards Bay to ports in Wareham and Sandwich. When the Cape Cod Canal opened in 1914, Wings Neck Light assumed its real importance for a number of years. The first lighthouse at Wings Neck was a Cape Cod-style lightkeepers house with a lantern placed on the roof. In 1889, damage from an earlier fire and general disrepair forced the construction of a new lighthouse. The present keepers house, with its attached hexagonal wooden tower, was built to replace the old Cape Cod-style house. For many years, Wings Neck was deemed one of the most important lighthouses on the Atlantic Coast because of the heavy shipping traveling the Cape Cod Canal but, by 1943, newer technology was making the lighthouse obsolete. The property was sold by the government in 1947 to Frank and Irene Flanagan. They loved the property with a passion and enjoyed a long retirement there until Irene passed on in 1999. The property was completely renovated in 2003 and is now available for rent.

  • Amazing place to stay! Plan for wind as you are out on the point. Loved the space and peace of sitting outside watching the boats and sunsets each night. The owner has a binder of the history of the lighthouse, which makes it even more interesting to stay in.

    Kristen2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The lighthouse was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding. The lighthouse is picturesque and the views were outstanding. Christina was very helpful answering questions that came along during the process and was there to walk us through the property upon arrival. My wife and I stayed at the lighthouse for the whole week and enjoyed our relaxing week together after the wedding. The time flew by watching the water and taking in the coast. Highly recommend this beautiful home for a wonderful week long get away with everything you may need in grasp!

It's located right across the street from the ice cream shop and the Hearth & Kettle restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This cottage is small, but has everything you need for a great time on Cape Cod. Absolutely everything is brand new, from the bed to the dishes to the sheets/towels and bikes! There are TVs in the bedroom and living room with full Roku services including Netflix and DirectTVNow. Forrest2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The place was really charming and just big enough for two. Check in was easy and communication was excellent! Everything was labeled with instructions which was helpful at times but a bit off-putting in a vacation home (helpful=WiFi info. Not helpful=labeling a washer, washer). Place was overall clean and neat but the shower and the shower liner had some unappealing build up that will hopefully be a quick fix for future guests. Overall it was a great stay I’d recommend!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nathaniel's home. We would go back in a heartbeat. It was cozy, but it was plenty roomy enough for the two of us and our dog. The location can't be beat. It is between the two main streets in Provincetown where most of the fun is and is a block from the beach. We walked almost everywhere. The kitchen and bathroom are new and the rest of the home was decorated in a quirky, fun way. It was just what we needed for our winter getaway. - Stephanie and Ed

  • Lovely cottage! You can’t beat the location right off Commercial street. The little fenced in yard was perfect for the dog. The cottage itself was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Nathaniel was super communicative, check in was a breeze. We can’t wait to stay here again!

  • This stand-alone cottage is an excellent place to stay in Provincetown. The location is very good on a quiet side street just off busy Commercial Street. There's plenty to see, do, eat and drink within easy walking distance. The cottage was very clean and in good condition. The space isn't huge but it proved to be very comfortable for two adults and one medium sized dog. The living room/dining area is well set up for watching TV or a movie or just hanging out. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. You could actually cook a meal there if you are so inclined. Good shower in the bathroom and everything worked well. The bed in the sleeping loft was very comfortable. Just watch out for your head on the sloping ceiling beams! We were there in the winter so didn't use the patio outside the back door but it looks like it would be a good place to spend time in the warm weather. Overall, a great choice for P'town.

    Drew2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in a Provincetown classic cottage! I’ve been coming to Ptown for 10 years and always wanted to experience what it’s like to stay in one of these iconic houses - this one did not disappoint. Everything was just what I wanted, updated kitchen, generous sized bath, private outdoor space, charming living space, and a comfy bed. And the location was so central, I was able to walk to everything. It was the perfect retreat but in the heart of Provincetown. Thanks Nathaniel for sharing your special home with me and my pups - hope to stay again soon!

  • If you are looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea, this is the perfect spot! The cottage is nestled behind the dune with a fabulous dune top deck to enjoy views of the beach, the sea, and the stars at night. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather and spent most of our “at home” time on the deck, but the cottage itself is very quaint and comfortable. You are a bit off the beaten track - just what we wanted, and it was no problem to drive a short distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

  • We had a lovely stay at Susan’s cottage. The home is adorably decorated and so quaint, and we loved the outdoor patio! We spent all our evenings outside watching the sunset with a glass of good wine, and the new fire pit is a great touch. We loved having access to the private beach, and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach right outside was delightful. We will definitely be back!

    Kacey2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience all around! Made me fall in love with the Cape, excellent location and the cottage had everything we needed and more. We didn’t want to our trip to end! We can’t wait to return back soon. Will definitely recommend to my friends!

  • Fabulous location facing the ocean, the beach at the bottom of the terrace! The house is charming and properly equipped with gas stove inside and brazier on the terrace We could not enjoy the outdoor shower because of the weather. The only minor criticism would be that you had to leave the house at 9am, a bit early for a vacation!

    Eric2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible place! If you're looking for your own private slice of the Cape, look no further. This place offers a cozy private beach cabin and an amazing deck to kick back and relax. The fire pit on the deck was also a great touch in the evenings. It was our first trip to the Cape and this place made the experience all the more memorable. We will definitely be back!

  • Very cosy seaside cottage, just off East Sandwich beach, perfect for a retreat by the sea. Exactly like on the pictures! The cottage is well equipped inside (cooking facilities, fireplace) and outside (deckchairs, picnic table, BBQ). 10 minutes drive from Sandwich town for a good choice of shops and restaurants. Very good location for exploring Cape Cod from. Communication with Katherine has been smooth and easy. We would definitely visit again!

  • I loved my stay in this beautiful beach house! The photos are true to reality. It is really well decorated, it feels good, especially with the fireplace in autumn! It is very clean, several small touches, beautiful big comforters comforting, the shower is really clean, important for me! The only thing that could possibly annoy some is the mattress that has broken springs on one side, so it sinks a bit on one side! I was alone so I slept on the other side! But me who has a very capricious back, I slept well. It was not as comfortable as my bed but I have seen much worse! I prefer that to a bed too hard. The pillows are also comfortable and soft. The couch is a bit worn too, very soft, but again, I prefer it to a couch nine too hard. I really enjoyed my sofa nights listening to movies (access to free movie rentals too). The house is in a small development of 7-8 houses facing each other. This one is in the middle, so neighbors on each side and in front. (Non-smoker even outside ... so I do not smoke a problem, but a smoker friend almost joined me and I would not have thought to check it! It seems to be an agreement between neighbors since the cottages are very close to each other). I was almost always alone or there were 1-2 people around at this time. It was very quiet. We get off the car feet in the sand and we hear the sea! You can see the sea from the windows of the kitchen but it is not a full view of the sea, as the development is behind a dune, which cuts the wind. At the end of the day, it was too cool on the beach, but I was very good on the patio. I was in mid-October, and I had a few days warm enough to be in a t-shirt on the beach. I walked 3 hours back to one side and I was not until the end! On the other side, the sea comes to form a kind of river, and the fishermen will fish with their waterproof suits immersed in the water at the mouth ... I made excellent photos! I had brought my bike but there was no suitable road for cycling around. I rather drove to bike paths. There is a nice satchel on the coffee table with recommendations of restaurants and activities, pamphlets, etc. On cooler days, many shops were closed in the villages around this time. I struggled to light the fireplace one night, and Katherine responded very quickly and was going to send someone to fix it a few hours later, but I finally managed to light her up following her advice ( you have to slide the thermostat vigorously from left to right several times when it's not going, and there's always a little blue flame even when it's off, so I thought it was lit very low but no, if it's not There are no big flames, it is not lit). In short it's just me who did not have the twist! Everything worked well. And the fireplace is really effective as heating! It was really hot quickly when I turned it on, in mid-October at 5-10 ° C at night outside. Also, it ran out of electricity for a day because of a windstorm, and I really enjoyed heating with the gas fireplace (which created a light at the same time) and being able to use the stove at the same time. gas even if it lacks electricity. In short, I hope to have the chance to return to this beautiful beach house, I felt at home. I adopted it!

  • Katherine’s place was as advertised. She could not have been more hospitable, responsive and accommodating. Lovely, quaint place right on the beach and incredible peaceful. My wife and I could not recommend it more!

    Scott2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Katherine has a great cottage right by the ocean. Don’t be surprised by the amount of cottages in one small area. It is small, but very comfy and people are friendly in the area. The location is great - easy to get to Provincetown, Hyannis, Martha’s Vineyard and Boston - all a quick jaunt away. Katherine is very communicative and answered all of our questions very promptly. We would return in a heartbeat! Thank you Katherine.

  • We could not have asked for anything better! The cottage was spotless and well appointed. The enclosed porch and the deck offered us a great view of the ocean as we drank our morning coffee or wine in the afternoon. Deena is such a wonderful host. It was easy to get around the area with the cottage as our base. We would go back in a heartbeat!

    Judi2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Deena’s place was fantastic! Close and convenient to the beach, perfect for 2. Kitchen was nicely stocked with what we needed and she left a small Cape Cod welcome package which was much appreciated. It was cozy, we ate dinner out on the front deck with a view of the sea. Wouldn’t change a thing!

    Samantha2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place to relax and enjoy the ocean. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and everything is there to make your stay as easy as possible. The place is very quiet and clean and a perfect fit for a family with small children. We had a great vacation.

    Stéphane2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Deena's cottage - she frequently kept in touch to make sure our stay was going smoothly, and the cottage is in a perfect location.

    David2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Deena is amazing and very accommodating. She ended up extending our stay past the season a little bit so we could enjoy our babymoon. This was the perfect location for it! We walked outside the cottage and onto Sea Street Beach. Steps from the cottage! And took some maternity photos with my photographer. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. We hope to come back during the summer, so we can reminisce and enjoy the beach!

You will have to clean before you check out so if you are looking to checkout quick without cleaning up (sweeping, wiping counters down, etc) then communicate with the hosts. Great communication with the renters 👍

  • We enjoyed our stay on Cape Cod. Dennis Port was centrally located and we were able to easily explore the Cape from this location. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the beaches and exploring the surrounding towns. Our favorite was at both points...Provincetown and Woods Hill. The Condo was very appropriately decorated for the area and we enjoyed all the details. The private patio was perfect and the kitchen space worked well for our morning breakfast before heading out for the day. We would recommend this property.

This property is not available to rent to those under 22 years of age. This property is not available to local renters without prior approval. Repose under vaulted ceilings in a property where the coastal decor complements the pale blue and white accents and painted wood paneling seamlessly. The many fine additions include the new kitchen and bathroom, plus the refurbished hardwood floors.
This home has been lovingly rehabilitatated into a bright, charming, and peaceful space. There is a large deck for your outdoor enjoyment as well as brand new kitchen and bath. We wanted to make this space a haven where you will feel completely relaxed yet close to all that Main Street and Hyannis has to offer. Newly refurbished hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, new kitchen and bath, wifi, newly painted. Bright and airy. Two bedrooms, one bath, large deck, parking.
Hyannis is the largest town on Cape Cod, so has all the amenities of a city, including an airport and ferries. However, it also has the atmosphere of a small beach town. The walkable Main Street features over 40 restaurants, plus shops and a park.
  • Betsy's home is adorable and has everything you need. Even with snow on the ground outside, we still felt like we were in a classic, beachy, Cape Cod bungalow. Although tucked away, the house was very easy to find. It was perfect for my friend and I having a little girls weekend. When we return, we'd love to stay again!

    Amy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and close to everything! We arrived in town early for our weekend stay. We contacted Betsy and she replied immediately allowing early check in. Bright and well maintained. Definitely recommend.

  • The cottage was absolutely perfect! Little cute touches all throughout. 2 full bedrooms perfect size. A smart tv in the living room, and the location is ideal right off main st. Everything in walking distance! Betsy was extremely accommodating to our needs as well. Would recommend this air bnb to anyone in Hyannis

    Justine2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our short stay in Hyannis. Although it was winter and off season, we found several places that were warm and friendly to enhance our vacation. My wife and I are making plans to return in the fall to stay, hoping to get over to Nantucket.

  • We had a lovely long weekend at Betsy's fabulous home. We appreciated all the little touches that make a big difference...waters and chocolates, paper goods, coffee. The furnishings were very comfortable. Betsy was easy to reach and fast to respond when we had a question. The location was fantastic. Main Street was so close!

Our cottage is situated in a lovely, landscaped yard and a close walk to Long Pond Beach. You’ll love spending time here because of the lovely outdoor setting and the neighborhood. While there is a feeling of privacy, you are close to stores and other conveniences. Good for couples or solo travelers.
Looking forward to another year of sharing our home with guests looking for a taste of eclectic Cape Cod! After doing some upgrades during the winter months we will open in mid-March to welcome Spring. Such an optimistic time of year with a promise of all to come. Each of the seasons brings its own beauty and joy. For the art connoisseurs , you will appreciate staying in a cottage on the property of a well-known local contemporary artist. Location is close to convenience but nestled away on a historical road. As we revise our details for 2019, I want to give interested guests a heads up about the legislation that will be in effect starting July . A statewide Room Occupancy Tax will be required for all short term rentals! It appears that the way it will work is that after booking is accepted, guests will be charged the extra tax and check in can not take place until that has been paid. I do not have enough details as this just been passed but I will be working on it to make sure there are no surprises for either host or guest. We had not raised our nightly rates for three years but as of April 1, 2019 (No Fooling!) our rates have increased and the price you see posted now include the 14.45% Room Occupancy Tax which will be effective July 1. We will continue to do our best to be sure our visitors will leave very satisfied. Don't hesitate to contact us with your special requests as we appreciate open communication and aim to please.
The neighborhood is the old part of what was Long Pond Road. Several historic homes including this one are an integral part of the charm.
  • A perfect true Cape Cod experience. Brought back memories of my parent's cottage. Great location and a beautiful yard.

  • We enjoyed our weekend stay in Brewster. A very peaceful and relaxing place to visit. Lorraine and Doug were delightful hosts😊and very accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

    Roberta2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I spent our 2 year anniversary at Doug and Lorraine’s property. The property itself was basically a large beautiful garden. We felt a bit like we were walking through a story book. Doug and their cat Lloyd greeted us immediately. We didn’t use the living room space, as the couch was a bit too small for us. And the shower for anyone over 5’10 (I’m 6’2”) is going to struggle with the shower stall. Other than that, I can not recommend this space or these folks highly enough.

    Chris2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lorraine’s place was lovely and exactly as described. The location is great for exploring Brewster and a short distance to so many great towns to explore. Really wonderful experience. Thank you!

    Eliza2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Clean 🧼 and Comfy! The space is small and intimate. Perfect for a couple! Doug and Lorraine stocked the refrigerator with eggs, yogurt, half-and-half, bread, butter, and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! The property is beautiful and Lorraine tends to her English garden with loving hands. The shower stall is small, but the water pressure is okay, and the cottage is clean and decorated with eclectic art. My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay!

    Nancy2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This stay is better than your best dreams! Beautiful, tranquil, and has super hosts. It truly is a wonderful value and I would recommend to anyone! I cannot say enough about how delightful this stay was!!

  • This was the perfect little cottage for my wife and I. After a long day of travel with many delays, we arrived in the middle of the night with a light left on for us. As we opened the front door, a bottle of wine and basket of snacks was waiting for us! This was extra appreciated because everything else is town was closed. Seriously the cutest cabin you'll find and you'd be foolish to book anywhere else. It was the most comfortable stay. The bed was amazing and I wish I sent more time in it because it's so comfy! Kim even left some food for us. This was going above and beyond and was much needed as we we in town for a wedding and didn't have time to shop. Like I said, you'd be foolish to pass this AirBnB over. Do yourself a favor and let Kim provide the ideal place to stay in Buzzards Bay. Thank you Kim!

  • Kim has an awesome little cottage which is perfect for couples or two friends to stay in. I loved the decoration and every little detail about it. Also she welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a handwritten note. Can highly recommend it!

  • The cottage was a perfect place to relax for a few days after a nearby conference. I could smell and hear the bay from the back deck, where I spent most of my afternoons. The weather was a bit chilly, as expected, so I didn’t spend much time on the beach, but it’s very close. The bed and couch were very comfortable and Kim’s local guidebook was very helpful in finding close and quality meals. I would definitely visit again in the future!

    Ebony2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect better than already you might anticipate, by a stay at this friendly/cozy cottage. I want to rave about my discoveries both at the house and in the neighborhood and even further afield, but I am opting instead to let you have that joy for yourself upon your own visit to this delightful home nestled in its unique community along the water's edge above Buzzards Bay.

  • Loved!! Kim & Dave were great hosts, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable upon our arrival. The cottage was so cozy & clean. The location was so relaxing and neighbors were so friendly. If you’re looking to relax on the beach with amazing views & comfort, this place is for you!

  • Awesome place! Great location for your next Cape Cod adventures.

    Ian2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The whole neighborhood is made up of super cute cottages right off of the beach on buttermilk bay. Kim’s cottage has super cute, nautical Decore. We loved it! So cozy for the two of us. Super clean! So many hospitable touches…You will be amazed. Perfect location for Cape Cod adventures. The bed is wonderful. Even the towels are super luxurious. Every detail thoughtfully laid out.

    Karen2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • The bungalow exceeded our expectations, it was absolutely delightful in every way. Kim has thought of everything and provided little extras that make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

  • We really enjoyed our little home - it was so close to everything and we liked the charm. The location is ideal and the bed was very comfortable.

  • Ryan's place is wonderful--great location, very charming and clean, and very cute outdoor space. Short walk to town, short drive to Lieutenant Island and other great beaches. We loved it!

  • Very characteristic homestay, there will be a chance next time, will come again

    Eddie2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan's space is like a hidden tree house ~ even has a European touch. You walk up the stairs, and there is this lovely deck, private and surrounded by grape vines and other greenery with little lights that come on at night. Comfy chairs ~ full moon night was awesome. Inside, you have a little living room with pull out couch, lots of nice throws if you get a bit chilly (which is September it did), coffee, minifridge and then pass through a little hallway with a sink and wha la, a lovely bed and bathroom. Lots of dark wood, skylights ~ a very sweet place for one or a couple. Good location and Ryan is friendly and very responsive.

    Ruth2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfectly located, very close to restaurants, art galleries and beaches. Sparkling clean and super cozy! Great communication and really good price for the value. Recommended!

  • Such a great weekend in a beautiful place!

    Libby2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan was a great host - very communicative and responded quickly. It was very easy to check in and out. The location was great too - we traveled up to Provincetown easily or down to Eastham. We also could walk right from the house into town for coffee, a small hike on Uncle Tim's island, and down to the harbor. Coffee, ice cream and nature all in walking distance - just what we need on vacation!

  • Loved my stay at Barbara's place. The loft had everything I needed and even a wonderful little welcome basket. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the living room area. The location was great, easy to park and a great spot to get around the Cape. Wish I could have stayed longer.

    Stephanie2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was wonderful and exactly as advertised! The listing was beautiful and comfortable. Barbara was available and easy to reach if needed while being thoughtful of giving us space and privacy. Our weekend at the loft was the perfect balance of style and comfort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Annalyn2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy, well equipped place particularly as Autumn was really drawing in during our visit. It’s very well placed for access to the whole of the Cape and apart from the daily ‘hoot’ from the railway - which was atmospheric, not a problem - was lovely and quiet.

    Philippa2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent 1 bed space on the Cape perfect for travelling around to everywhere. Bed was super comfy and great having in the cottage the welcome basket was fab.

    Laura2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place to stay, well thought-out with everything you need to make yourselves feel at home. The apartment is very clean and stylish, with good equipment, comfortable bed, great wi-fi, easy parking and a great patio overlooking a gorgeous garden. Barnstable itself is a lovely little town with a beautiful beach, good coffee shop (Nirvana) and a really well-stocked local market shop with a fabulous selection of wines. Highly recommended.

    Angela2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was perfect for our short visit to Cape Cod - we wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage is private, cozy, clean, and really nicely decorated. There were many special touches and we had everything we needed. Stephen (Barbara’s husband) was super kind to us and communication was always clear. Location has easy access to most of the Cape and not far from restaurants, groceries, etc. - there is not much in walking distance, but it wasn’t a problem since we were driving.

    Vanessa2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s place was very clean and tidy. As others have commented the photographs on Airbnb make the place look very light and airy, far more light than in reality. That did not detract from a good stay. If you intend to eat in, as we generally do on a couple of nights during a stay, you need to be aware that there is no actual dining area, you will be eating on your knee. The bed is very comfortable, however some guests will need to know that the steep stairs to the mezzanine bedroom could be a challenge and potentially dangerous to some of limited mobility or those with a permanent injury or disability. Barbara and her husband were both very friendly and on hand if needed.

    Neil2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara's place was great. We really enjoyed our two night stay and were sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Would recommend to anyone else.

This log house is beautiful. Only minutes from historic Plymouth, beaches and the Cape. On an acre of private, wooded property. Located across the street from lovely cranberry bogs and walking trails. Close to Boston and Providence. A must see! Pet friendly! Seasonal rates apply.
This listing is for a Traditional Log House rental/day/week/mo. Great for a summer vacation rental! Amazing for Autumn foliage and especially the cranberry harvest!! We have finished updating this listing with all new stainless-steel appliances, additional deck space and are almost done with re-modeling the basement. Our $125/day off-season rate reflects our ''almost finished'' state. The interior of the log home is as charming as the exterior and never fails to impress with its 30ft vaulted ceilings and hard wood floors. The yard is lovely and well-kept. Central Air/Heat with easy-to-use digital climate interface.
Located only a few miles from historic Plymouth, this property is situated on a series of cranberry bogs and has walking trails along lakes and ponds across the street. It is not located in a neighborhood, per se, although it does sit back from the main ''old'' road leading down to water- front Plymouth. The house has two incredibly lovely neighbors on either side, however, it remains very quiet and private with each property an acre or more each.
  • Great host, great space, memorable experience. Thank you for opening your space and sharing your home.

    Michael2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • One of our favorite places so far! The rustic charm along with the added touches like the freshly baked bread and bits of added charm all over the house was second to none! The house is the perfect size for independent space or snuggled family time! We are already checking the calendar to see when we can return!

    Jody2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderfully rustic log cabin that is private and relaxing. We had a great experience having a quiet, peaceful weekend in the rustic cabin.

  • A really wonderful place to spend a holiday, even in winter. The cabin is beautiful and the layout ideal for families as there are two sitting rooms and a garden for playing. The kitchen is a joy to work in as it’s Open Plan and a lot of stuff has been provided by the owner including a wonderful home-made cake that filled the cabin with lovely aromas on arrival. Great location for exploring all the pilgrim stuff and more. Right next to the Cranbury bogs so great walks. All in all a great stay and Garrett was very welcoming.

Our antique home is a feast for the eyes. A continental breakfast is served each morning. Experience Cape Cod and enjoy it like a local. We have two friendly indoor cats, Ravi and Luna. Our gardens entice you to relax. On arrival, we'll offer you tea or wine and discuss your plans. We're on the main road, busy in summer, and 5 mins. to National Seashore headquarters & Coast Guard beach, #6 this year of best U.S. beaches. We've lived here for 26 years, know the Cape well and will recommend lots.
Your room is on the second floor with its own very steep staircase and adjoining private bathroom with shower. The room is beautifully decorated offering a queen bed and a couch and is air-conditioned. The house was built by a sea captain in the 1840s. The room is also accessible from the main staircase which is less steep. Some of my paintings of local scenes hang on the walls and there's plenty of books about Cape Cod. The queen bed is new and comfortable and the sofa is a nice place to read. The wifi is dependable. Outside your windows you'll see our oasis of a garden where you can enjoy reading, sunbathing or a hot game of croquet.
We are close to both the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod Bay, about 2 miles either way, with Town Cove across the road. Eastham has only a few shops and restaurants and a beautiful new library. Orleans is full of shops and restaurants, just 10 minutes away. The bike trail is close by as well as rental bikes. Wonderful walking paths and beaches await your discovery.
  • Jo Leal and John are two lovely hosts who welcome you into their home with warm conversations over a cup of tea about music, art, the local happenings and much more. I'm so happy that they were a part of our trip to Cape Cod. The accommodations are clean and homey, in a convenient location, quiet, and come with many amenities. But the best part surely is how they welcome you as friends rather than visitors. I highly suggest staying with them!

    Leah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jo and John are amazing hosts and fascinating people to chat with! This is definitely one of the most wonderful houses I have ever stayed in! It is in a beautiful location, the decoration is unique and the two cats that live there make it highly recommended for anyone who wants to spend some days in Cape Cod!

    Marios2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jo Leal and John are the most wonderful hosts. This was our first trip to the Cape and they helped us plan our time with helpful tips and a lot of written material they have meticulously compiled. Jo Leal and John are warm, friendly people and art connoisseurs. The paintings all around the home were so refreshing and added to the joy of our stay. John made the most amazing tea and Jo Leal served us home made bread and a signature dish that she created for breakfast. We had a great time chatting with them and getting a quick peek into the local history about which they both know so much! We highly recommend staying at any of their listings (they showed the second one to us and it is gorgeous!!).

  • This was an awesome Airbnb find. My friend and I went for a night and loved the space and tips from our marvelous hosts. They were very welcoming and kind, full of suggestions and very professional with binders of activities. It was very clean and homey.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Jo Leal and John's place. Unfortunately, we did not have the pleasure of meeting Jo Leal, but John was an incredibly hospitable host and we had great conversation with him. Their home is beautiful and perfectly situated - we could not have asked for more!

    Amanda2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Delightful host and pleasant conversation.

    Darlene2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely stay with Jo Leal and John Clark .. Beyond the superb location and their extremely cozy home, their company has been an extraordinary gift. We will always cherish the memory and bring it back to life in future visits to Cape Cod. Absolutely delightful music, stories, art ... and wisdom: "Better to be an optimist and be proven a fool than to be a pessimist and be proven right" *

The waters in this area are very fertile which means that there's a wide variety of marine life and it's world-renowned for whale watching. Sometimes in the spring you can even see a whale or dolphin from the beach of the property, but you're more likely to see them from shore if you go to Long Point, Herring Cove Beach or Race Point Beach – and these are also the best beaches as they're pristine. If you go in the early morning or late afternoon you may also see seals on the beach. If you decide to take a whale watch trip be sure to pick up a discount coupon from the front desk. Truro Vineyards is a short 10 minute drive – use our discount card for 10% off.
