There are marked hiking trails right outside the door and 20 minutes to Randers Rainforest and Djurs Sommerland as well as close to nature and beach trips on Djursland.

Kaløvig Bådehavn ligger under en km fra huset. I huset er der spise og soveplads til 4 personer. Håndklæder, viskestykker, dyner, senge linned og brænde til den hyggelige brændeovn.
