Neighbors were very nice and respectful. The condo was very clean and nice, and came with necessities. The host replies fast and their is a nice pool and it’s right on the lake.

Great condo. Very clean. Beautiful view of Lake Martin. Major state highway is in the direct view of the condo, but we did not find the road noise to be a problem and the view of the lake is still great. Easy access to groceries and other necessities. Three bedrooms is a nice plus. No dining room table, but we ate our meals on the back porch beside the lake. Well equipped for dining in. We stayed in early Spring, but the pool looked nice during warmer times. Great stay overall. Thanks.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at Hidden Treasure in lieu of staying at a hotel. Boy are we glad we did! The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean and well appointed. We will definitely try to stay here for future visits at Lake Martin. Thanks Clair and Bryan!

Great hosts and very good on their communication!

Bryan and Claire are very thoughtful hosts. Communication with my wife and myself were a top priority from the beginning when I booked their great place to arriving and getting set up . Their place is very quite, very clean, and very comfortable to relax . Overall the location is a few minutes away from Alexander City where we did alot of food shopping as well as many other areas of interest for great food and exceptional sunsets. We would strongly recommend their place to stay with others....thanks Bryan and Claire!

We were visiting our son at Auburn University and this condo came highly recommended by a previous guest. Without hesitation, we booked it and are thankful we did. :-) War Eagle!

We got to the condo after dark, and it is VERY dark for a mile or so before you get to the condo. Once we saw it in the daylight it all made sense. The apartment is well furnished and very lovely. The condo is really pretty close to lots of places to eat and easy access to get to Auburn University, which was why we were there. We have absolutely no complaints about this place. It is very cozy and warm. We can't wait to go back again. We did see the lake and the pool from 280 and the whole facility is very nice. If you book this place you won't be disappointed.

The chapel is a unique well equipped space. It was a lovely stay in a little slice of paradise. Colleen is a wonderful host who will go out of her way to make sure everything is perfect.

The Chapel Cabin is a delightful place to stay. Two stressed out friends needed a getaway and the chapel was just perfect. Makes you feel like home from the minute you enter the building and Colleen is a wonderful host. A huge thank you for a lovely experience, I just hated to leave.

Callie's camping trailer was great- very clean with all the features you would expect in a small trailer plus decent wifi connectivity. This was a perfect solution for geologists doing fieldwork in the area.

Callie and Carl are GREAT! Wonderful communication and easy check in. It’s in a wonderful quiet area away from the craziness of the busy life. The camper is super clean and has everything a camper should. I will be looking to book again in the fall.

Great stay -- super clean and had everything that was needed easily available. Just be advised if you're big & tall (6' or taller), you will be a tight fit in the shower. Other than that, no issues with the place. Side-note: this area has poor reception, so while WiFi is offered at the camper, I advise downloading an offline-accessible map (Google Maps easily lets you select an area for this) for directions.

Great location on the lake, and also very close to town. Lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the back porch and view the most. Thank you for working with us and being flexible.

This is a great little place. If you have a boat or Waverunner, bring them. Great outdoor and dock area. The split level setup, is perfect for a large group or kids separate area.

A functional house for our two families to stay. We put all the big kids downstairs-large open space, with kitchenette, bathroom, & ping pong table. The kitchen upstairs had all the things we needed. We loved having coffee on back porch. There was also a boat ramp at the house. Location quiet & not too busy. About 45 min boat ride to chimney rock. 5 minute boat ride to rent a boat. The only thing that could improve was the queen & king bed very squeaky, but slept fine. The host was very nice & allowed us to stay a little longer on check out day for kids to swim.

Really cool space. Didn’t realize until I got there that it is also a music studio! The only thing I thought was that I wish there was a tv in the living room area. But Jody was a wonderful hostess and the town of Eclectic was really cute.

This place was an EXCELLENT value for the price. It’s a very homey spacious place. Colleen was very responsive to texts and was very concerned about our comfort! I’d add that she offers a sound machine to help with the noise of the traffic. But there is also trains late at night that are quite noisy. Otherwise this place was awesome and I’d def stay again! Ps. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud!

Perfect for business travel in Sylacauga

AMAZING! A house is a house is a house. This one is not that. This one is a home. Everything is perfectly imperfect and beckons you to relax immediately. From the antique gas fireplaces that work in every room, to the 15 foot ceilings, and the kitchen that welcomes you to sit and wake up to a cup of coffee, this place is great! Colleen was ALWAYS willing to talk to us and return our messages even a month before our stay. Pay close attention to the parking, it can be a bit confusing when you come in late and tired like we were. It was fantastic to walk across the street to go to church Sunday morning with people genuinely excited to see us in the congregation. We will be staying there again when we come to see our granddaughter again.

Colleen is an amazing host. She’s very attentive and kind. Great place to stay. Will definitely stay again.

If your looking for a unique get away look no further. The place is everything we expected an more! Such thought an detail has went into the decor and it was the perfect momcation get away for my mother an I. Cheaha state park for hiking is a very short drive definitely recommend driving up if you stay. Would for sure stay here again!

I got to Ashland late and realised that there was very little choices for hotels near there, so I contacted Shauna about the caboose and she replied back within the hour. The caboose is very nice and the bed is very comfortable. It is worth every dollar due to its rustic appearance alone. I would like to thank Shauna again for being so helpful in my time of need.

We went to Alabama to go hiking, and just needed a place to rest for the night, but found this gem on the airbnb site. Shauna went above and beyond in making the experience of staying on a caboose the ultimate. From the outside to the inside, every detail was just perfect. I recommend it for a couples getaway.

Cap's Caboose is such a special place and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a fun, one of a kind place to stay. Everything inside and out was even better than the pictures, and Shauna was so easy to communicate with and really thought of everything for us.

I am from Indiana and traveled to Dadeville, Alabama for a training conference and needed a place to stay. After reading all the wonderful reviews and viewing all the amazing photos about Bev's place, I knew it was the place for me. Bev's place exceeded my expectations in EVERY aspect! And to top it off Bev was an incredible host ... and even though the suite was wonderful ... my highlight was meeting Bev. She has a beautiful heart and I look forward to my return for another training conference in May. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with a fantastic view from inside and outside. The house is extremely comfortable and amazing. Kids loved the pool table and played there while we enjoyed the view and quality adult time very much needed. So relaxing!!! We are already looking forward for another stay in the future. Our stay was exactly what we needed. We drive from Texas and arrived to a beautiful home that was clean and perfect for what we needed. Waking up to the beautiful view and the sounds of nature made me not want to get out of bed. We had lots of shopping to do and Vicky was so helpful and more than accommodating. HAVE TOU BOOKED THIS GEM YET?! What a stay and a great find. Took a romantic hiking and sight seeing trip, sweet town and nice trails everywhere for beginner and advanced hikers alike. Such sweet amenities like coffee and OJ in the fridge. I'm always forgetting coffee creamer and I didn't even have to worry about it! Quick to respond to any questions and very friendly :) amazing lake view and outdoor area. would love to stay again!

The Turtle Cottage was perfect. It was very peaceful with a beautiful view. We saw beautiful birds right outside the window. The cottage was very clean with coffee, orange juice, and bottled water. The owner had local menus available. He responded quickly and was very nice. We are already talking about when we might be able to come back. We highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay while you’re visiting Sylacauga, this is THE place to stay! The property is big and private, the view you get to wake up to is amazing and the host, Stephen, is very friendly and accommodating. He brought us a couple of chairs so we could sit out by the lake. He even had OJ in the fridge and coffee in the place. Very thoughtful! If it’s available for your stay, book it without hesitation. We were so happy we did.

A beautifully secluded and appointed cottage on 19 acres overlooking a small lake populated by otters, kingfishers and several varieties of fish. Coffee, water, tea, juice and Stephen were waiting to warmly greet us upon our arrival on a chilly evening. The one bedroom cottage is adorned with floor to ceiling windows, maximizing the peaceful, serene view of the lake and changing of leaves this time of year. The decor enhances the view with like colors and soft lines. Even the large shower had a thoughtful touch with an overhead shower nozzle to rain down upon its guest, no matter the height. Only 12 miles from Pursell Farms, we are very happy we chose to stay here as opposed to the Inn at Pursell Farms.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kelly's lake house. We loved sitting on the back porch that looked out at the lake. Although the lake level was down for the winter, the view was still amazing! The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked which made cooking meals easy.

If you are wanting a perfect spot for some R&R on the lake, this is the place for you. It was very comfortable, spacious and very stylish. Kelly was very thoughtful and accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the porch all throughout the day and night. Dockside on Bay pine island is just around the slough from the marina, so having our boat was super convenient too. We would love to stay here again!!!

The cabin is better than pictures posted in Airb&b. The place is very clean and has a very efficient floor plan with plenty of room for large families, we had 4 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room . The boat dock is protected from rough water so you can dock your boat without worrying about waves from boat waves passing by or rough water from the lake on windy days. The boat ramp is about 1 mile from the cabin and you have the option of parking your vehicle and boat trailer at the boat ramp or parking at the cabin. My Grandsons spent most of their time swimming and playing on the boat dock.

Great spot on Lake Martin near Stillwater. Very friendly owner who left out candy for the kids and coffee for the adults. Great place to quarantine and huge yard for the kids to play. Will be back again.

The place is awesome! View is extraordinary. Didn’t want to leave and looking to go back as soon as we can! Chad is awesome, had bottled waters in fridge and snacks on counter. Also had coffee pods ready for us. He thought of everything. The swing overlooking the water was lovely!

This two-bedroom cabin is a perfect getaway on Lake Martin. We stayed during the winter as our family lives around the corner and needed sleeping space for our holiday visit. This clean cabin has a Keurig for coffee, cozy gathering space, large open kitchen and a nice size bathroom with a stand up shower. I’d love to come back during warmer weather to spend time on the dock and put my feet in the water. The hosts are excellent with communication about check-in, WiFi, cable and what is expected from guests.

For all you Auburn moms and dads, this was the perfect get away spot for us to have quiet, relaxing time with our son. I was able to cook his favorite meals for him too! The cabin is cozy and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! The host and hostess were very accommodating. We hope to stay here many times over the next 4 years.

This was a well appointed house. Sparkling clean, nicely decorated and just a wonderfully relaxing home. Million dollar view of the lake from every window and every outdoor seating area! Great lake for standup paddle boarding and kayaking. (Not enough wind for the Hobie Cat we brought.) Lots of different places to sit outside for sun and shade. Great hiking trails all over the place within 40 minutes of driving, and grocery in Dadeville, less than 15 minutes away. Beautifully decorated and remodeled. We had an amazing stay!

My and my family stayed here for 4 nights. The view is amazing, this place has everything you would need to make a great vacation a success. There is a fire pit outside, a nice deck upstairs to drink you morning coffee and hang out and a gorgeous dock to hang out all day and swim in the lake if its not too cold (i went in the winter, water was way too cold). The house is cozy and feels like home. The host is very responsive and all directions and instructions were very clear. I will definitely stay here again i the future.

This condo worked out great for a weekend of visiting with our college student at an Auburn football weekend. It is easily accessed via HWY 280. It is very clean and well decorated.

Ronda's place is amazing and just what I needed. Ronda had great communication during my month stay. It felt like home from day one and the bed is so comfy you don't want to leave. One of favorite things was sitting in the screen porch drinking my coffee in the mornings. A great restaurant is within the gated community and lots of places to walk. The community is wonderful and peaceful. Anyone looking for a extend stay for business or just peace and quiet, this is the place. Definitely will stay here again if I need a place in this area.

Nice cabin on the lake. WiFi connection was great, 8 minute boat ride to Kowaliga restaurant. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

The house was perfect for our family...very comfortable and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and the view is beautiful! The walkout basement was great for my teenage son and his friends, while giving my husband and I our own space upstairs. Our daughter attends Auburn and the location was close enough, that we were able to visit with her often throughout the week. Susan was a super host...easy check in and responsive to all of our questions. We had a great week!

Home is beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated. Only thing is that there is no level ground out back. A little disappointed we couldn'tplay badminton but other than that it's was an amazing vacation!!!

The house is beautiful and very cozy. It was perfect for our family of five, but would also be great place to let our kids bring friends, as there is plenty of space. We got groceries on the way, so we never really had to leave. We spent most of our time on the lake since we brought our boat and some kayaks. The boys really loved it. We went out and found Goat Island and Chimney Cliffs I believe they were called. It really is such a beautiful lake and it is very nice to have the boat docked right there. We did cook every night as the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It is a quite neighborhood. I did meet a few of the dogs out on my evening run...all bark, no bite. We will definitely plan another trip.

Had a great time, brunch at the Copper Grill was amazing. Convinced them to let us drive a golf cart around and it was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin is clean and in a great location! Perfect for a weekend get away. Loved exploring the area. Lots of great things to do within a 20-30 min drive. Coppers grill across the road was a great spot to grab a drink and listen to some music and be able to walk back to the cabin.

Our stay at Morgan’s place was awesome. I didn’t expect it to be right on the golf course, which was awesome. Pictures don’t do it justice. This place is adorable. We came to attend a wedding nearby and the location was great.

The Wheel House is a lovely little home...it’s beautifully decorated & well kept...my daughter & I spent the weekend & enjoyed every minute...Morgan is very responsive to any questions or concerns...pay attention to her description of the walkway & stairs if you’re not sure footed...I’m 66 years old & I had to take it slow...all worth it though!

Paul's location is wonderful. The camp is located in between two creeks, with a small beach right behind me. Me and my friends went to sleep with the gentle sound of the creek at night. The camp is completed with various ammenities, and as a couple of city kids, we can say that everything was ready to meet our needs. They even provided us some marshmallows, and we spent a good portion of the night by the fireplace roasting them. Complementing the great camp was Paul and his girlfriend's hospitality. We arrived late eving on Christmas eve and he was very quick to greet us and show us the way. His girlfriend later came by with a pile of blankets to ensure that we stayed warm that Christmas night. They even took time out of their Christmas morning to send us warm coffee and delicious baked goods. Camp hidden creek is a wonderful place to spend time with your friends, or even family. If there is any opportunity, I would definitely come back (maybe in the summer)!

We booked a night at Moonshiners Corner for a slightly more pampered experience than our usual primitive camping. And we’re So Pleased that we did. The location is gorgeous, just out there enough to give you all the nature and tranquility and close enough to civilization to hit up McDonalds if you forget your coffee supplies. We listened to the creek run, sat at the campfire, roasted marshmallows courtesy of our hosts along with all the other essentials you need for a camping get away. The bed was comfortable and the tent was warm thanks to the gas heater supplied. We walked trails and relaxed. Hosts came down to greet us and check us in and were the epitome of southern hospitality. So glad we found this sweet little getaway and can’t wait to come back

The PERFECT outdoor getaway! The property is stunning and the accommodations were fantastic! We truly did not want to leave. It was so peaceful there. The bed was incredibly comfy and we were kept warm and cozy with the propane heater supplied in the tent. The little "Welcome basket" and binder was a nice touch! We loved exploring the property on the trails. Great communication with the host throughout our stay. He and his family were friendly and treated us like family...loved that I was greeted with a big hug from Boo :) We can't wait to go back and visit again when it warms up so that the kids can play in the creek along with the dogs! Could not have asked for a better birthday weekend!

We had an AWESOME time! This place exceeded all of our expectations!! Along with the beautiful scenery and extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements, Andrew’s hospitality was GREAT! He even came down to help us build the fire. All around a fun experience and we can’t wait to go back! I have already recommended this place to all my friends and family!

The most beautiful sound and scenery to wake up to in the morning. I highly recommend Camp Hidden Creek for any camping experience you want to truly enjoy. The hospitality from Andrew Williams and Rebecca Elaine Turner went above and beyond any I’ve ever experienced before, their hospitality was exceptional, They were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to make this experience a wonderful one. The camp is clean, the scenery is exceptional, the tent which is nestled between two beautifully flowing creeks has a queen bed that was very warm, comfortable, and cozy. Some of the best sleep I’ve ever had! There are many trails and creeks to explore and enjoy during the day and several places to eat near by, unless you want to cook on your on with the grill provided at the camp. This is definitely going up as one of our top places to stay on vacation.

This is an incredible place. We were delighted to be of the first Airbnb guests at Paul’s place. We have stayed at over 40+ Airbnb places across US and based on this we would put Paul’s place in the top 1% for the following reasons. 1. This is a hidden gem. The tent is placed at the intersection of two creeks. Although we had great network, we spent 3 hours just reading books in the tent and hearing the gushing of rivers. It was raining as well and it felt magical. Paul had left soothing candles, led lights and a gas heater so we were comfy. Btw, the bed is super comfy and the extra blankets are a bonus. We were snug although we were out nowhere. 2. In the morning we woke up super early to walk around the massive property. Our dogs had a wonderful time wading through the streams. We also found their pasture for deer and old bridges. There is so much to look explore. Paul even sent us a map of the trails via text which we found helpful. We made it to the main house and paul invited us for coffee. They gave many tips and we chatted for over an hour. They even gave us so many local tips for trails, farms, foods etc. One of the main reasons we use Airbnb is to meet people and paul and his partner went out of their way with their hospitality. 3. The cabin is equipped with nice little touches to bring a camping experience to the next level. A care package of sorts with a lighter, toilet paper, wet wipes and fire starters. The outhouse itself was a relaxing place to be with a serene private setting facing the flowing creek. 4. Paul even offered to let us borrow their ATV to explore their property. This was a bonus as our dogs ran along side with us as we explored their pristine 100+acre land. We encountered diverse wildlife including butterflies, birds and one massive hawk. We will surely be back. The dogs and us were thoroughly exhausted. And we didn’t even get to enjoy the campfire, fishing, outdoor shower and hiking in other trails nearby. The hosts are adding in more tents so next time we can bring our friends and family. Also lots of place On their property to pitch your own tent - just reach out to the host. They are super welcoming and wonderful human beings. We will be back soon to this piece of heaven.

Great place to take our Jet Ski’s for a couple days. The place is cool, clean, and deff has a lake house vibe. There’s a fire pit and full kitchen to cook, which is nice. Would stay again.

Kim’s place is a great place to get away from town and get a good dose of clean country air. It really embodies that “lake house” feeling It’s also set up well for anybody who wants to bring pets with them My gf interacted with the hosts once and said they were incredibly friendly

Thank you so much for hosting us. The location was exactly what we needed for a family escape — it was great waking up to the beautiful view. Even though it rained during our stay, it was so cozy to have a fire in the fireplace, drinking hot cocoa and playing games. Responses were lightning fast and the local recommendations for food was spot on. We would highly recommend this for those visiting Lake Martin!

Betsy's home was beautiful and spotless when we arrived! We spent our time in the large open living area playing games and cooking meals. The outdoor patio and dock were perfect for lounging in the sun! Betsy was a wonderful host and communicated quickly. We would definitely book with Betsy again!

Loved our stay, beautiful place

Betsy's place is even cuter than the photos and she has everything you could ever need! It was a dream getaway. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the water and enjoying the peacefulness of the whole scene. The location of the house couldn't have been any more convenient and the house itself was beyond comfortable. Both adults and children enjoyed themselves for a quick weekend vacation. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay!! The lake house was so cozy and clean! The decor was lovely as well. The house was stocked with plenty of serving ware to cook and entertain! Right on the water!

This house was exactly what we were looking for in a romantic weekend getaway! The view of the lake was spectacular and the home itself was immaculate with all the amenities we hoped for. Betsy was very easy to work with and stayed in communication whenever we needed her for anything. There was tons to explore on Lake Martin and we had a great time learning the history of the town and relaxing.

This home is an absolute GEM. Perfect for our weeklong getaway together. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. Secluded, but easy to get into town when we needed something. Gorgeous location on a pond that feeds into Lake Martin. We bird watched out the huge windows every morning and evening. We fished in the pond, went for hikes around the neighborhood, grilled out on the deck. We slept like we haven't in years. The beds are VERY comfy. Bonus: we could see the stars in the night sky from our bed at night. Well appointed kitchen, top notch cookware and amenities, which we sincerely appreciated, and plenty of room for myself, my husband, my in-laws and our toddler. Our host, Leslie, was so courteous and helpful and got right back to us when we had a few questions for her. The Market at Table 34 was adorable and stocked with great wine, yummy local greens, cheeses, casseroles, etc. We LOVED this home and will definitely be coming back again in the future! Thanks for opening up your home to us, Leslie! :)

Charming and peaceful are accurate, but don’t begin to fully describe this place! It is immaculate and amazing. A slice of heaven on earth! Leslie is the hostess with the mostest. We loved it so much, we are already planning to go back.

I almost do not want to leave a good review because I want to keep this gem for myself. In all seriousness, the place is amazing. ON the water...bring fishing gear to fish off the docks. Met some lovely neighbors fishing off the dock and had a wonderful evening just talking with them. Space is perfect...bed comfortable.. It was a great visit and will be back.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Lake thanks to this sweet and convenient retreat. Our girls weekend was made complete by a comfortable and clean sleeping space, with every amenity we needed, plenty of space on the dock to enjoy the view and weather, access to the grill to cook our dinners, and wonderful communication and help from every staff member! We really enjoyed the help and hospitality of our hosts in addition to the perfect spot on the lake.

Loved the space. I was on the water. It was off-season and not especially busy, which is perfect for a hermit like me. I even got to meet the resident kitty. I loved it and can't wait until my next visit.
