Cozy little lakefront cottage--make cappucino in shared kitchen, make a delicious Belgian waffle, take it out to view deck, cast for blue gill from our dock! Quiet place, cable TV, use kitchen as you desire. Borrow the kayak and paddle up our 6 mile lake...or enjoy great conversation--Mozart, Shakespeare U of M football, or just space if you're the private sort. I can even teach you how to play craps in 10 minutes! I'm an "accomodatin" old retired guy who enjoys meeting interesting folks'-
Small cottage, but BIG lakeviews from nearly every room. Lake is shallow and one of the best fishing 'holes" is just 200 yds from my dock! Sit on deck w incredible view, or hug your honey around the fire pit...imagine "scout camp w cocktails," and you've GOT it!
Very quiet...except big holiday weekends. Neighbors on either side are respectful, and "empty nesters," rarely are kids around. Virgin forest across roadside.

Covid-19 Response: Our housekeeping partners have always used cleaning products that disinfect, however, in addition to the normal cleaning procedures, they will increase their focus on “high touch” areas, such as remote controls, doorknobs, light switches, etc. Our employees and housekeeping partners are receiving ongoing education on best health practices according to public health agencies. In addition we have installed touch-less soap dispensers and entry points into the home.
The cottage is on lake front property with a dock. There is a boat rental place in the area if guest are interested in spending the day on the water. Guests are also welcome to swim, just be sure to wear water shoes! The lake is clear and gets up to 150 feet deep in areas. There are some zebra muscles. We have various pairs of water shoes for guests and the general store has some for sale if we don't have your size.
We love spending time in the outdoors during the spring, summer and fall season. If you like hiking, spending time on the water or relaxing while the waves crash on the beach, you're going to love it here!
  • Really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Great location just steps from the water.

  • A lovely cabin in a great spot right on the lake. Quiet and serene, Kaitlin’s place gave us the perfect opportunity to have some much needed downtime in the middle of our busy roadtrip across the States. Cozy and comfortable with prompt communication from Kaitlin. We would definitely stay here again.

  • We had a fantastic time at this cottage! Hubbard Lake is beautiful, and the cottage itself was spotless and had a super cute and comfortable decor. It's about a 10-minute drive from the general store too, which is handy. Would highly recommend!

  • Super cute! We loved this little place. Since it's older, it had a few quirks, but it was still lovely! Beautiful sunroom with gorgeous view, cute little kitchen, and great spot to float in the water. Kaitlin was a very attentive host who answered our questions quickly, even once we were there and needed help. We'd love to come again some time!

    Rachel2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is perfectly quaint, comfortable and super clean! The hosts are amazing and seem to go above and beyond. The sunrises are unlike any that I've ever seen. This cottage and it's hosts will not leave you disappointed by any means and I can't wait to book it again.

    Paula2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was truly one of the nicest places to stay at on the Lake. The afternoons are perfect for grilling and enjoying the company of your loved ones. The nights are best spent on the fire or in the living room with the windows open so you can hear the lake at night. Kaitlin was very responsive and helpful with answering any and all my questions. Will DEFINITELY be back soon!!

I bought a fixer-upper to share with you. The house is ready now with some ongoing projects. The house is one bedroom on top of a two car garage so being able to climb steps is a must to enter the living space. The house is located in town. Less than a 5 minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee shop, grocery store, art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend. Great for the business traveler for Alcona county. Hope to see you soon. ann

  • We had such a nice time. The home decor was lovely. Comfortable bed and furniture. The shower had good water pressure and stayed nice and hot. We loved the balcony as well. Peaceful to enjoy our morning coffee. We had a nice dinner out there as well. Nice backyard where we enjoyed a little bonfire too. It was a good location and a quiet neighborhood as well. It was a very nice getaway.

Also, internet is tough there but we enjoyed the movies that were available. Definitely want to come back.

Clean cozy beach cottage, walking distance private beach access, lots of private space, large wrap around deck. Fenced in back yard for dogs and kids. Local restaurants and bars nearby. This has been an excellent family beach house over the years, now that we have moved to Florida, we won’t be using it very much. Please message for more details or questions! Thanks!
  • Beautiful gem very comfortable and clean easy to find and a great host we definetly want to stay again

  • Ken’s place is a wonderful cottage just across the street from sandy beach on Lake Huron. Close to Sturgeon Point Light House, our favorite rock finding beach. Negwegon State Park and Dark Sky Preserve are minutes away. This is a natural park like no other. The property had everything we needed and more. The bonfire pit came in handy for a night of sitting around the campfire and roasting marshmallows. I would stay there again.

    Carrie2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • We found raspberries growing wild in the bushes surrounding the property! We especially appreciated the wooded lots surrounding the house. It created an excellent amount of privacy.

  • This is a beautiful little home with a great deck space, perfect for our family of 4 and our 4-legged family member. The serene location was perfect for disconnecting and traveling off the beaten path—Black River and the surrounding area are not touristy and still provided plenty to do and even some foodie spots. In the house, the room sizes were great, the beds were comfortable, and the hot water plentiful. Simple cooking and grilling was easy and the supplies provided allowed for both. Wifi was strong and reliable and there were plenty of accessible TV options through Amazon Prime and Netflix (maybe others we didn't check out). Check in and out was a breeze as well. The private beach access down/across the street is a little lacking, small with little beach remaining—though no fault of the homeowner as the water levels have risen on the lake quite a bit. But Negwegon State Park is a 10-15 minute drive with wonderful hiking, wildlife, and an expansive beach area beyond the beaches at each of the backcountry camping spots. The local public beach is also nice with a small playground and Alpena has a large public beach as well with a great playground and splash pad.

  • My husband, dog, and I stayed a few days at Buffy’s ranch this week to get away from the city and find some peace amidst this chaos of covid19. We figured it would be a very safe trip to plan during quarantine since we already had groceries to pack and the van gassed up. It’s also in the middle of no where, so no risk of exposure or spreading anything. We booked Sunday morning and spoke with Buffy on the phone to acquire accurate directions and write them down since there is no service near the cabin or surrounding it. She was very helpful and pleasant to speak to, definitely helped with any anxiety I had about traveling during this time. Upon ending our conversation, my husband looked at the forecast and saw 1 “good weather day” and 2 very cold days 🥶 so he suggested we ask Buffy if we could come early so we could have a full day (Monday) of beautiful weather on the ranch because we planned a whole day of hiking. She was accommodating and accepted our cash offer/arrangement to come early! We were so excited, we immediately hit the road. There’s not quite words to describe how I felt when we finally arrived to the cabin at the end of the very long driveway! It was breathtaking, as we pulled in we immediately spotted many deer in the field eating! We unloaded the van and checked out this fully loaded cabin... our dog and both of us were very comfortable with the space. We chose the room we wanted to claim as ours for the stay and the mattress was great and so was the view out the window! We saw a million stars right from our warm cozy bedroom! No light pollution whatsoever! We woke up and fixed some coffee to prepare for the day of hiking... she had everything we needed including coffee grounds, filters, creamer! We soon found ourselves hiking back to the watering hole/pond. Our dog spots it and runs as fast as a greyhound to jump in! It was VERY clean! Turquoise water and no swamp smell AT ALL on our dog! That never happens but we weren’t complaining :) after he had an hour or so to swim, we walked SO very far back on the property and found many treasures along the way! Plenty of wildlife to be seen, too! Finally got back to fix lunch in the full kitchen set up, all the tools and supplies you would need to prepare almost any meal! At the end of the night, we warmed up with hot showers one after another, no issues of hot water ever running out. The next day was very frigid so we only hiked the front part of the property and I ended up finding multiple Petoskey stones, which I’ve never found before! So exciting :) at the end of our trip, there’s very clear instructions for checking out. Loved the washer and dryer, it’s nice to go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes👍 there was a hot tub on the back porch that was not set up but we plan to go book again and I’m hoping eventually it will be operational😊 can’t wait to bring my children next time! There’s so much space to accommodate large families. Thanks again, Buffy. We will be back!

  • Expect a cozy, secluded cabin in the woods! We enjoyed the fireplace and all of the land/trails surrounding the property for our pup to run around on. The cabin is equipped with everything you need up north and near plenty of state parks, hiking trails and lakes/rivers for outdoor activities. Curran is a sweet little up north town with shopping and dining opportunities to enjoy.

  • This place is very secluded which is what we wanted. Buffy’s directions were very accurate and it was no trouble finding the place. If you want quiet and solitude, this is the place!

  • Truly a private getaway! We hiked the property every day with our dog, comfortably watched football and Stranger Things on the Roku TV, and played board games at the kitchen table. Great family bonding trip! NOTE: It is a long drive to nearest grocery store, so I suggest you bring your groceries with you so you don’t waste any of your vacation time at this awesome property!

  • Quiet, clean, restful, and relaxing getaway at the lake! We were attending a wedding at the Churchill Pointe Inn (a 2 minute drive, or 10 minute walk away) and this place was the perfect location. The decks, the view, the dock, and the very cozy, comfortable interior were all wonderful for our stay. Note that it is still a more traditional place Up North (think boardgames, not TV, using care with the septic system, bringing plenty of bug spray for outdoor activities, and with mattresses that could be a little stiff, though the Wi-Fi was decent enough to watch a football game on a tablet) but you could not find a more fun getaway on the lake. Thanks!

    Matthew2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Hubbard house is a great Airbnb for one to enjoy with family or friends that is right on the lake. There are plenty of spaces outside to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Having the ability to use the kayaks and the canoe was fantastic, along with having plenty of chairs for you to use outside, along with plenty of firewood for bonfires. A few things to keep in mind: 1. If you are going here and rain may be in the forecast, there is no TV for you to plug in a firestick or watch movies on. 2. If you have a difficult time climbing stairs (bad back, knees, etc.) and you are planning on renting this place for the lake and lake experience, this probably isn't the house for you. There are many stairs to climb from the water to get to the house along with slippery, sharp rocks in the water where you would walk.

    Natalia2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My family had a great time! It is absolutely true… The cleanliness was amazing! And, Vikki’s thoroughness in all details was spot on.

    Diane2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • I could not have asked for more. Both decks enclose to keep dogs secure, which allowed us to relax and not worry they were roaming too far while sitting with them. The boathouse has everything needed to kayak, canoe, and throw a line in the water. My 10-year-old enjoyed all that. She had been asking the past two years to take our dogs on vacation and this was the perfect place to make that happen. My 11-year-old found many shady spots to lounge and read. It was great to get him out of the house and still allow him to do what he enjoys.

    Eric2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Tracy was a great host who provided a lot of little extras and gave some appreciated recommendations for hiking. Her place is cute and comfortable with a great private beach with fire pit on Lake Huron. The dishwasher is a nice convenience not often seen in an up-north cabin. Beds were comfortable.

    David2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Two Trees was the sweetest spot to stay! The house was spotless, cozy, beautifully Scandi-artsy styled with all the amenities thought out. The path down to the lake was beautiful, with the trees lining the path and a private spot to hang out by a fire. A huge back yard with a fire pit as well, and lots of seating. Northern Michigan in the fall is so beautiful! We made fires inside in the wood stove every day, and sipped coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings. The beds were so comfy, layered with crisp, clean bedding! Tracy was an exceptional host and has made a wonderful home for guests to stay in. We will absolutely be back again - maybe in the summer when we can swim all day!

  • Tracy was an great host! Her responsiveness was amazing and did not hesitate to answer any questions. The location is amazing and will certainly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

  • Such a great long weekend. You can tell a lot of care and thought goes into making this a special place to unwind and relax. It had everything you could want or need, was super cozy, and was very clean. Tracy was very responsive, accommodating and welcoming. I will absolutely be back!

    Halley2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean. Host very responsive. The house is set up very thoughtfully. Overall beautiful. We have two labs and we loved the area with the two state parks near by which we visited with them. The others mentioned the road is very close to the home which is listed on her listing. Again we have two adventurous labs we just kept them leashed close to the home but on the beach we let them free and they loved it. Great get away, worth the trip.

    Rebecca2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Book this house! It’s sparkling clean, has cute and creative decorative touches, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath. A spacious backyard with a grill, fire pit, and ample seating. The wooded trail down to the beach is well-maintained and fun walk with railroad tracks, stone steps, and lined with neat mushrooms under the pine trees. Don’t the train tracks dissuade you from staying here - during our long weekend, only two went by and were only detected by us as a low rumble. The location of the house is great - a short jaunt (maybe a five minute drive) into downtown Harrisville. We hiked several trails located in the Huron National Forest in which we spent minimal time in the car. Tracy is a wonderful and thoughtful host. (Thank you for the delicious tomatoes, Tracy, and for leaving out the books and toys for our son to play with!) She is very easy to get ahold of and responds lightning-fast. My family and I loved our stay at Two Trees and would not hesitate to book here again!

  • we really enjoyed our time in this house, very relaxing to wake up by the water. The house was clean, the patio was my favorite it has a lot of place to seat and relax. one thing i didn't notice until we got there was that the neighbors on the right are very close , one family was renting that house too when we got there so it wasn't as private as i wanted but overall awesome place!

    Victoria2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing view - the pictures do not do it justice. This place was perfect for 8 people, very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals and the bathroom was supplied with fresh towels and hotel style soaps and lotions. Host was quick with replies and very helpful.

  • Scott's place was a perfect spot for our bachelor party. The space held 6 guys comfortable. The patio out side was perfect for grilling and drinking a few brews. The fire pit and the view from it was super relaxing. The host were on top of everything and super helpful with any questions we had. There is tons to do in the area. We hit up the golf course down the road and rented a pontoon. Prefect little getaway for the weekend!

  • Great private setting cottage with private beach. Sunrises over the lake are beautiful from the deck. My boys loved the beds in the loft. Just what we needed to escape.

    Joe2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cottage full of character and love! It is maintained very well. The beach is clean and having it right outside the back door was amazing! We were surprised at the amount of board games, cards, movies, and toys to keep us from getting bored. There is a Foosball table! The kids really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed our visit and look forward to visiting again!

    Roger2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very quite, peaceful and simple. Deck was nice to sit and watch the water and sunrise. We used the DVD player to watch a couple movies. Cell reception was adequate enough to search and plan the next days activities. We spent two days sightseeing up the coast. Noticed that the east side towns were much less congested than the west side for July. Made for pleasant sightseeing without being run over by crowds and long lines. We looked for city, county and state parks along the coast and walking trails. Was surprised to find the enormous limestone quarry in Rogers City, with an overlook on Bus23 into town. And we toured the 40 mile lighthouse near Cheboygan. Also found a nice walking trail around Lake Besser in Alpena.

    Jack2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay here & found the views great. Was wonderful to be right on the water. Bridgitte’s cottage was very nice for our family vacation. We loved the large windows and the deck was perfect place to relax. The bathroom is small so could be challenge for larger framed people.

    Alana2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home that helped us unplug from the stress of life and social media. The sunsets were beautiful, I definitely recommend Bridgitte's home for a relaxing vacation.

  • Bridgette was wonderful to work with! We had everything we needed plus so much more!

    Cathy2019-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful location for a great price. Very safe area with friendly neighbors. Loved the bonfire pit right on the beach and hearing the waves crash the shore from inside! So thankful Bridgitte shares this slice of Heaven for others to enjoy. Very responsive host that goes above and beyond. Had everything we could possibly need and more!!!

  • What a wonderful place. The area is pristine! My friends and I spent the weekend exploring the forest, canoeing, cozying up inside, and sitting out by the fire. Edward is an excellent host, and gave us many great tips on where to walk, hike, and observe wildlife. We will definitely be back.

    Emily2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Even farther out in the woods than we expected, this is a great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors with nobody else around. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you should need to do exactly what is advertised in the description. Unplug and relax.

  • Great location, very remote, perfect place to get away for a break. Beautiful natural setting with a marsh near the house and the cabin in a beautiful wooded setting. Great communication, great host, great local tips, comfortable well appointed cabin. Will return.

  • Edward’s off grid cabin is magic. If you’re looking for a place to rest and recharge, this is it. The cabin is adorable (Fred the deer is especially wonderful) and the grounds are perfect. The river is beautiful and very relaxing. We spent most of our time traipsing through the woods and looking at the interesting plants. Animals galore to watch as well. You will not likely find anywhere better for star watching (minus the dark sky park) as there is virtually no light pollution at all. Bring your camera and a tripod and you’ll be set to take some amazing night photos. There is, of course, plenty to take photos of in the daytime as well. Relaxing by the fire after a long day exploring is the perfect ending to each wonderful day. The beds are super comfy and plenty of pillows and blankets are provided. The drive back to the cabin is long but I promise it’s worth it. Just an overall wonderful experience! Thank you so much Edward for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We‘ll be back!!

The sunset view was exquisite and one of our favorite things was sitting out on the deck and enjoying the lake. Ryan was quick to respond back with any questions and made checking in and checking out easy. Would definitely recommend to others.

  • This was a wonderful home right on the water. They thought of every detail- plenty of bath and beach towels, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, foil, toothpaste and blow dryers. We had a fun time with lots of swimming and fishing, paddle boards, great fires at night. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Ryan and Hona were excellent hosts. We would gladly stay again.

They had a bottle of champagne for us when we checked in , which was a thoughtful touch! They were responsive to all of our questions or requests! We all talked about making it a yearly trip if the house is available!

Close to canoe/kayak/tube rentals on Au Sable River. About 6 miles west. Grocery store, hardware, restaurants, bar, golf course, post office and party store only 4 miles away In Glennie. The beach in Oscoda (about 20 miles) is on Lake Huron and is rated as the best swimming beach in Michigan.
  • Great place to stay highly recommend

  • Amazing property with plenty of room for guests. The views all around are beautiful. The pond out front was throughly enjoyed by our group as was the home theater.

  • This is a wonderful place spacious and unlimited possibilities

  • My husband and I just had our wedding here, and I couldn’t think of a better space. There was many different sleeping options for close family and our wedding party to stay the weekend with us. We had everything we needed for the weekend including all kitchen amenities for cooking for lots of people, extra fridges, clean beds, and lots of beauty. Ken and Laurie were amazing as were the family Laurie brought as extra help for this event. I would book again in a heartbeat, and we can’t wait to come back and make more memories!

  • This home and property are absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. We hosted our wedding here and our guests were extremely impressed, and many assumed that we had spent a fortune. Kenneth was extremely accommodating and worked with us with our needs. We hope to stay here again, perhaps to celebrate our anniversary!

    Angel2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing vacation! There was enough space for all of us to be together plus space for us to go for alone time. There were tons of activities that kept us entertained. Very well worth it!

    Sheila2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second year at Kenneth's wonderful house, and it was just as lovely as last year. We can't wait to return :)

Our pet friendly cottage is elegant, but rustic. Our Lake Huron beachfront knotty pine cottage features 100 feet of sugar sand beach on the lake. Makes a great get-a-way any time of the year. In the winter there's cross country skiing on the Corsair trails, snow snowmobiling nearby, ice fishing on close by Cedar Lake. The cottage is close by the scenic River Road along the Au Sable River & Lumber Man's Monument. During warmer months there's golf, great boating, bike riding and more.
  • Tim’s place is a true hidden gem, with amazing views of the lake, a great little beach, and A quiet secluded location. There was plenty of space for the kids to play in the sand and they even provided sand toys and rafts for the water. Tim was fantastic about communicating and was always available in case issues arose. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you’d need. Just bring food/drinks, and your bathing suits!! We had an amazing time.

    Robert2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Tim's cottage. We had camp fires every night. Every day we swam, and took our kayaks out. The Hot Tub was great also. Lake Huron was near record high water levels when we went so the beach was smaller than normal, but still great for swimming. Very sandy bottom that is shallow for a long ways. Once the lake level goes down to normal, you can see there is a real nice beach underneath. At night we could see a few freighters lit up out in the lake.

    Ray2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little escape right on Lake Huron! Our pup loved running along the beach (even with the ice) and the location was great. The cottage is fully stocked with any kitchen utensils you could need so it's easy to convince yourself to stay put once you arrive. We took advantage of the great outdoor space and am sure we'd spend even more time outside in the summer. Thanks again for a great New Years getaway, Tim!

This beautiful lake front property is a northern Michigan paradise. The house sleeps 14 people comfortably, has large living areas, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and 2 outdoor decks. This is a perfect setting for any season but especially in the summer. We have a large dock and sandy beach, a nice shallow area for children to play in, a raft, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor fire pit and BBQ equipment. Fishing is good year around and we have a sweet spot right off the dock.
We are 5 minutes from Glennie which has a nice grocery store, several restaurants, gulf course and a fabulous ice cream parlour. We are very close to the Au Sable River and the Huron National Park where you can enjoy great sight seeing, hiking, tubing & canoeing. We are 30 minutes from East Tawas a charming town on Lake Huron and about 2 hours from Mackinac Island and Lake Michigan. Saginaw, which has a great airport, is 2 hours away and Detroit is 3hrs. For fishing enthusiasts, we have Bluegill, Bass, tons of Northern Pike and Perch. There is also a loon family that shows up every year that you can listen to while enjoying a fire at night. If you're lucky, you might also get to see the resident eagles that live in the area. If you have a ski boat, bring it. The lake has public boat access and you can park it at our dock and be feet away from using it whenever. We have Wifi and AT&T and Verizon have cell towers nearby.
We have wonderful neighbours and the lake community is very welcoming.
  • The pictures don't do this property justice - it was worth every penny! Our group had a great time getting away from the big city and enjoying the nearby parks.

  • You won’t find a cleaner place near Glennie!! Plenty of room and close to the Ausable River. Susan was great to work with. I would highly recommend this place !!! We are definitely going back !!

  • You will not be disappointed in this property, it was even better than we expected! The photos don’t do it justice! The kitchen was such a great gathering spot in the morning and the view of the lake from the high top table was a great way to start each day! We made some wonderful memories with our kids and grandkids at this beautiful lake home! Thank you, Susan and Patrick!

    Lisa2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean and upgraded home. Very comfortable and wonderful deck overlooking the lake. Highly recommend for large family, plenty of room.

    Ruth2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing!! We were overwhelmed with how nice this place was! Completely updated, loved the kitchen, the kayaks and other things to use in the water were so nice to have we would paddle out into the water to watch the sunset at night. Having a neighbor so close to contact if we ran into issues was such a nice touch! We loved the fire pit to make fires at night and have s’mores and the outdoor shower was a nice touch to clean our feet off! And I almost forgot to mention how clean this place was it was absolutely spotless! We would definitely come back to this wonderful place!!

    Sandra2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • A terrific place to enjoy with the family!

    Ed2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • My family and a I had wonderful time at this beautiful lake front home! The decor is stunning and the layout of the home was perfect. There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lower level has a “bunk room” and was perfect for the older kids to have their own space. Although it was too warm to use the fireplaces, they would be lovely on a fall day! There was a beautiful deck overlooking the lake to relax or BBQ on. We had a great time with the paddle board, kayak, and swim pad, too. We are planning a return trip next year! Marisa Selden

  • This cottage/beach house is truly outstanding and a great place to stay. Very family friendly. We had four adults and two little ones and there was plenty of room to spare. The view and private beach was second-to-none. Very comfortable on the inside and a great screened in porch where you can enjoy your meals, sun rises and moonlight. Jeffrey was a great host and we would gladly stay again if he would have us!

    Mike2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing! Great views. Super clean. Lots of amenities. Overall a 11/10. Would definitely book again.

    Jared2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and nice amenities! We loved our stay and plan to come back next year for longer! Easy to bring and cook your own food in the kitchen or grill or campfire. The water tasted different from ours (no surprise there) so we did buy some water in town to keep there to drink and make coffee. There is one downstairs bedroom and two huge upstairs bedrooms. Two full baths were nicely updated. The screened in porch was great for meals and playing games. There was plenty grassy area for outdoor games and loads of beachfront for the kids to play for hours on end. We made s’mores over the fire ring with the provided wood. It is a very serene and quiet location. Harrisville to the south has a grocery on Main Street as well as a coffee shop and library with wi-fi.

    Becca2019-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey's cottage was a great place to spend a long weekend. Wonderful view of Lake Huron and all the amenities we needed to enjoy the sunshine on the beach. Would highly recommend for a beach side escape on Lake Huron!
