Beachfront vacation rentals in Alcona County

We came earlier than our time check in, but Niki is so nice to let us check in than the usual check in time. We settled in our room and its very clean and neat, its perfect size to my family we have 3 young kids. Niki's husband welcomed us, he was very approachable and helpful we feel at home. the whole location is beautiful, its very clean, its so peaceful and the vibes is so family friendly. We are happy we found this place my kids had so much great time being here. TIPS bring bath towel and hand towel bc they dont provide those and extra pillows and blankets for your extra comfort. We brought my kids sand toys but they have so many on the beach area that you could borrow.Overall we had a great time here and we plan to comeback again this summer, i recommend this place 100% amazing location!!! Thank you, we will be back.

We loves staying here this past weekend! We didn’t have ideal weather, but it happens. We definitely made the best of the situation. Niki and her husband were fantastic hosts and helped us if we needed anything at all! The place is so peaceful, and relaxing, just what we were looking for. The beach is just a stones throw away, and is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! We are so thankful and glad we chose to stay here. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

John provides a great experience for anyone wanting to experience fun on the water to sunrise and sunsets. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. He provided everything he said in the description. He stopped by when we were out and chatted for a few. Asked if we needed anything. We highly rexommend and will come back in the future.

Property is beautiful and very secluded. The hosts were incredible to us and very accommodative to our plans!

Arrived a bit before check in. Cleaning lady was still there, but let us know when she was finished. The house was as expected with a beautiful view of the lake, lots of water floats to use on the water, surrounding area was very peaceful. Only issue was the steps and handrail on the waterfront porch was in need of repair. Had a fantastic time, and would definitely stay there again. Owner was very responsive throughout the whole process.

If you're looking for an authentic Hubbard Lake experience, this place is the real deal. No fancy furnishings, just a rustic cabin with a cozy fireplace and a screen porch with a sweet view of the lake. Who could ask for anything more?

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

Wonderful stay. Loved being right on the water

Pros- Stunning views from the living area to the lake. Plenty of sandy beach front with all the rocks you would ever want in the water. Impressively clean and beds were made like you were at a 5 star resort. Kim has raised the bar for being a host with Airbnb!! Kim is a 5 star host and thought of everything to make our stay like it was our home. Cons- I don’t have anything negative to say regarding the host, the cabin, the cleanliness, and the location. Kim mentioned this is not baby or child proof; the only concern I would have if I brought little ones would be the outside. There are steep steps down to the beach. Every house in this area has just as many steps down from the house to the beach. Plenty of beach area once you are there, just keep in mind if you pick up rocks, you will have to carry those up the steps.

Mark's place is on a very beautiful piece of property that feels as private as can be expected for lakefront. The beach walk south can be taken for miles with some of the prettiest shoreline in all of Michigan. Mark's house is fully functional and well stocked. Having the use of the screened in porch helped spread out our group of six. The bonfire ring is situated very well on the beach for enjoying every minute possible on Lake Huron. We hope to return again.

I love this place. The only thing I dislike is how uncomfortable the beds are. I would recommend bringing a topper so you can save your back from aches and pains after a couple days. The house is comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. Lake is gorgeous and James, the host is a gem of a human b

This place is a 5/5 if you want a beautiful beach with nothing else going on for a few days. Extremely relaxing location. The only issue is the new owners are still updating the cottages. The beds are terrible. We had to sleep on the pullout because it was a little better than the actual bed. If they put new beds in and some other updates this place can be a gem. I don’t recommend more than two people per cabin unless it’s a family with small children.
