A little happiness

Just 200 m from the sea and yet protected from the wind, is Casita Kalisat, the small “lucky house.” Surrounded by breathtaking volcanic landscape, the clear starry sky at night, the power of the tides, you will find peace and closeness to nature in a beautiful living atmosphere. Throughout the village you can be undressed. Nudism is welcome here, but not mandatory. There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

All about Isla de Lanzarote

Sitting off the coast of West Africa, the Canary Islands are a world-class vacation destination beloved for their turquoise waters and beautiful lounge-ready beaches. Lanzarote is the most northern and eastern of the Canaries, known for its spectacular lava flows. Pay a visit to Timanfaya National Park to experience the otherworldly volcanic landscape firsthand, then spend the rest of your trip exploring the Spanish island’s 132 miles of vibrant coastline. From swimming the crystal waters of Playa Blanca in the southwest to windsurfing at Costa Teguise and snorkeling the green lagoon of a volcanic cone at El Golfo, there’s no shortage of water attractions to keep you busy. For a pinch of history, the former capital of Teguise is worth a visit for its 16th-century architecture and imposing castle erected to protect the island from pirates.
