The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from 67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural site (3.000m2) in a protected holiday home area, close to the River Guden with access to the common area with a bathing bridge and own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the grounds there is an annex that we ourselves have at our disposal for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) even in the neighboring house and are always available when we are at home.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood-burning stove lit. Read a book in the double bed with a view of the lake or bring the mountain bike and take a tour of the route outside the door. Only your imagination sets the limits in this beautiful place! WELCOME

A completely unique view over the sky mountain lake Julsø, with a background of the most beautiful hilly landscape. From the apartment's own terrace, you can follow the life of the lake in a multitude of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hikes, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wi-Fi 👍

Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

The apartment consists of an entrance hall, kitchen-living room, bathroom with shower and washing machine, bedroom with 2 single beds and desk. In the kitchen-living room, there is an extra bed for 2 people on the sofa bed. Close to Sdr. Ege beach and Siim forest. Ry is the "capital" of Denmark's most beautiful and wild nature in the middle of Søhøjlandet. There are opportunities for canoeing and kayaking, fishing, hiking, exciting mountain biking, racing bikes. At the residence, there is equipment for washing bicycles and indoor storage of the same.

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

The Yellow House by the Forest

The perfect starting point for hiking, mountain biking and other activities in Søhøjlandet. The house is not far from Himmelbjerget and the MTB track Danmarks Tag. We are happy to share hiking trails from the house on Topo GPS. The house has 1 bedroom with two beds. In addition, a bed in the living room, where there is also the possibility of sleeping on a sofa or mattress.

You get your very own little "apartment" with a private entrance, a small kitchen with dining space for four people, a private bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a double bed (140x200), sofa, TV and workspace.
