We are a B&B with guest ranch for 11 years. We practice Gentle Horsemanship and we love all animals. 40 horses, 5 dogs, 2 cats, 3 llamas and 2 donkeys live at the ranch. We serve a vegan breakfast and on request we serve vegan lunch or dinner. Guests have the opportunity to use our trails for fat tire biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, wildlife watching and horseback riding. An awesome place for animal and nature lovers.
“It was great, there were a bunch of cute dogs named Cloe, Edward, Luke and one we didn’t get to meet, which I love! had a fantastic sleep. Heads up for anyone though, we packed our own (precooked) meals for dinner to save some money and there was no way for us to heat up the dinners, so we had to eat them cold. It was really nice to have breakfast there. Judith is a very cool person to chat to, pro skydiver who now works with horses!”
Welcome! Come relax in our 4 season cottage overlooking the scenic Shell River Valley. About a 5 minute walk from the Asessippi Ski Resort. The ski trail is located directly behind the cottage, allowing you to ski-in/ski-out as you desire.
“Lisa was quick to reply with any questions and check in was a breeze. There was a miss understanding on my end with our checkout time and Lisa and her husband were extremely patient and kind to us regardless of the situation. I would must definitely choose this cabin again. Plenty of space, we played spike ball in the basement with lots room to spare. The only downfall could be there is no hot tub.”
The inn is newly refurbished, located next to the recreation centre downtown Russell, an ideal location for skiers, hunters, fisherwomen, hockey teams, hikers, cyclist, adventure seekers, etc.... The hotel is full service, meaning it has a restaurant, bar, vendor, gaming machines and 8 rooms; all differently designed, complete with fridges and microwaves; the rooms are non-smoking and pet-free. A charming older inn in a quiet rural setting welcomes you... true value for money spent.
“Had a great stay for a weekend at asessippi. Nice big space, friendly staff, short 15-20 min drive to the hill, would reccomend.”
