The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove stands on a piece of land between the old port of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are located around the cottage and give you all the privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local bakery for fresh sandwiches. A walk started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bikes you can explore the wooded, rural surroundings via all kinds of routes. A place to relax!

A special place, because you literally walk up the heath from our yard. No traffic, no neighbors, no hustle and bustle. The adventure begins on arrival, because to reach our cottage you have to drive a little kilometer along a sandy road. This road is not accessible to traffic. Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
