You will be staying in a comfortable, fully furnished holiday home, the "Dashuis". The house is next to our own house and has its own entrance. You have your own, enclosed terrace with plenty of privacy. In the immediate vicinity, chances are you will encounter deer or a kingfisher. The location is in a natural environment with ample hiking and biking possibilities. Cities are easily accessible, Leeuwarden 30 min., Groningen 40 min. A direct bus to Heerenveen with, among other things, the Thialf ice stadium.

We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and smoke-free bed & breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transportation (5 minutes' walk). There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is a 15-minute drive, Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive.

My vacation home is located in the county of Bentheim between canal, meadows and forest on the edge of a small village in the immediate vicinity of the Dutch border. The Lower County is known for well-developed bike paths: Along canals, rivers, moorlands and small villages, our border region can best be discovered by bike. 10 minutes from Leeuwarden and 4 minutes from Grou is our rural farm in Idaerd. This fully furnished, modern apartment has all the comforts. The bathroom has a sink, a rain and hand shower and a toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and combination microwave/oven.
