House vacation rentals in Ruby Bay

We LOVED this house!!! Fabulous, modern, immaculate house just where you want to be! Perfect for a large family/friend group. Walkable to grocery store, park, beach & bars and restaurants at The Wharf! Latest fabulous appliances, incl a barista-quality coffee maker with extra beans as a gift. Lovely showers with great pressure. Real Clean and Green NZ inside/outside living with fully retractable windows/doors. Composting out back. So key to be able to do laundry and hang in the sun and breeze! Well-designed space to sprawl/relax/play. 8-yr old loved the trampoline, swing and pool. Emma was a great communicator and gave hiking recommendations and very kindly left snacks. Could not have been happier! Thank you for sharing your home. Made the trip amazing!!

It was a challenge to find a place that would fit our close family of 16 (adults and late teenagers) to celebrate the wedding of our daughter, but I am so pleased that we found Bay Ridge. We had a fantastic time , loved the gardens , the views and heaps of space. The short and scenic drive to Kaiteriteri beach was so easy as well as the walk to the delightful split apple rock and beach. It was such a pity that due to travel / arrangements we could not stay longer. Highly recommend the place and again thanx to Annie who is a fantastic host.

Stunning views, every minute in this beautiful building was amazing! The location is close to Split Apple rock, which was a cool mini hike. The Abel Tasman tour booths and pick up are less than a 15 minute drive away to book a trip out into the national park. There are penguins that come up to the property at night that are hilarious to listen to, we went to an aquarium a few days later and found a stuffed animal that sounded so similar that between our group we ended up getting three of these stuffies throughout the trip just because we'd heard them at this location and it was such a good memory to have made. I Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope we get the chance to again someday!

This property is everything one could ask for. The house is spacious which allows for privacy for all party members. It is an old house with a unique feeling one can appreciate. The house is very well equipped and the garden is spectacular. The view is breathtaking one does not want to leave the house! The host is lovely, very responsive and helpful! We would stay longer if we could . Very highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at Matt and Lucy's. the home was well appointed with everything we needed. the pool and the spa was very good and we felt super relaxed and comfortable here. would happily recommend.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

On arrival the bach was unfortunately not ready for us, but this was due to an oversight by the cleaner, not Emma. Emma was super quick to respond and very apologetic when we messaged about it and couldn't have been more prompt in getting things resolved which we really appreciated. After this initial blip we loved our four night stay here. The bach feels like the best of both worlds - an old family bach and the charm that comes with that, made even better with significant modernising updates like the massive glass doors, and all the other mod cons and extras (big fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heatpump/AC, Chromecast, etc). It is off the beaten track and feels so peaceful and private. Being so close to the sea is a real treat. We would love to come back some time in the warmer months so we can make the most of the amazing outdoor areas and pool! (just a bit too chilly for us softies to swim in it at this time of year... we did love the outdoor fireplace though!). :)

We loved staying at Caroline’s! The heat pump was on when we got there so it was lovely and warm. We were only in Nelson one night but would have happily stayed much longer here!

Enjoyed our stay especially the nice fireplace for the cold evenings.

Jamie was a wonderful host. She was very informative it was always available if we had any questions. We absolutely loved this place. We had kids with us that loved the chickens and enjoy the patio out back. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. very impressed! For us in New Zealand this has been our favorite place to stay! would definitely recommend!

What can I say! I have just spent the most amazing 10 days at Ginny & Pat's warm and welcoming home, set in the most magnificent 'labour of love' gardens. What a sanctuary of peace and beauty with every amenity you can think of. Ginny and Pat are super friendly, warm, generous hosts who were delightful to spend time with. The home is super comfortable, fully equipped kitchen with everything you can think of, and both inside and outside, there are lovely places to escape to and enjoy the different aspects of the property. Whether you want sun, shade or in between, there is a place to curl up with a book or listen to the radio , everyone with a restful vista. The garden is simply stunning, with beauty everywhere you look, full of joy and serenity. I will be returning and highly recommend this place to other guests looking for something truly special. Thanks Ginny & Pat - you have made my stay one that I will treasure and remember forever.

Loved our stay, very relaxing and comfortable. Friendly neighbour's and a lovely kitchen, appreciated having some spices to add to our meal. Recommend walking or driving up Harris Hill just across the road. Beautiful views. Thankyou Murray 😁 😁

We absolutely loved our stay, the host was absolutely amazing to deal with and the house was immaculate upon arrival. Interiors were fab which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Steph and Mark welcomed us and made us feel at home. We had a great time in the Tasman region. Accommodation was well laid out and overall functional. Really well insulated dwelling with good heating and cooling meant it was always comfortable inside. Would strongly recommend for anyone wanting to explore the area.

We stayed at The Barn for my partner’s birthday. Loved the outdoor bath, the location, the ducks (especially our one friend who would visit us every day). The beach access path made the National Park feel like a private extension of our little home. There weren’t a lot of options nearby for food as many places close for winter so I’d recommend grabbing groceries in a nearby town before heading in. The Barn had a small general store & we had the best burgers at Fat Tui nearby. The staff & the scenery were fantastic and we are excited to come back in the future for another stay. Thank you!

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

We loved our 1 week stay for our summer holiday in Moteuka. We loved staying somewhere rural with beautiful views, but a quick 5 min drive to town. Yvette and Ross are such friendly hosts. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We all loved the pond area, warm enough to swim, paddleboard, or sit in our rings and relax in! The house was very clean and well presented. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Appreciated all the included things we could use in the kitchen/bathroom/laundry, makes a big difference not having to buy all of these extras. Wonderful big deck. The bedrooms did get hot at night for sleeping, fans were provided though and there is aircon in the living area. Smaller studio unit underneath the main house can be rented too if traveling with more people. Would highly recommend and would love to return one day. Thank you

We had English relatives with us and a 2 year old and everyone was impressed. Nessie loved all the toys and we forgot the pram but there was a buggy for us to use!

This was a great peaceful place to stay. It allowed us to spread out and enjoy the rural surrounds. The property exceeded our expectations and Alistair was very responsive. To our questions. The new outdoor baths were a favourite, as were the multiple parts of the deck to enjoy at different times of the day.

We had a lovely week long stay. A very spacious, warm and modern home that had everything we needed. Thanks Debbie :)
