The property itself far exceeds the images on the site. We instantly felt at home & relaxed in the surroundings. Tastefully decorated with artwork and soft furnishings. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery for cooking. Lots of towels for use jn the home and at the pool. Comfortable beds. A short drive to local amenities and walking routes from the doorstep. We were spoiled with the weather & having the pool to cool off in. Or just a sit in the garden with a book observing the local wildlife. We are a family ranging from ages 8 - 63 & all of us loved our stay. Thank you

The place is very peaceful, we spent a little less than a week with my wife and our two children in a little paradise, super well-equipped accommodation, a large well-secured swimming pool, ideal villa for couples alone or with children. One small downside, the pool is not heated (it's very fair in mid-May) A small point that could perhaps be considered to aim for perfection.

Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by lovely countryside, and only ten minutes from the pretty smll town of Treignac, with supermarket, cafes, boulangerie etc. Great walks nearby too (I recommend the Cascades at Laval, and the Pierre des Druides). The hoiuse has just been refurbished, and it's spotless, and Nadine and her husband are very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a huge bowl of freshly picked cherries! Great value for money too.

The house is very beautiful (and fresh even in an overwhelming heat), the hyper-comfortable bedding, the perfect location 4km walk to Lake Vaud Gelade and 15 km from Lake Vassivière, 4 km from the Rigole du Diable, kilometers of hikes around, dozens of cows, birds, deer, muslidés and other animals, the welcome is warm.
