Our family had an incredible time at Christie’s “mountain house” (as our kids called it). The short walk to the river was priceless and we enjoyed the fire pit every night. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Everything was great and as expected. I found the description of this Airbnb to be spot on. No surprises. Great stay.

5 stars all around. Beautiful home and property for our two families of 4. A 5 minute drive into town provided restaurants, bowling and a distillery. The kids had a blast exploring the property and utilizing the hot tub. The layout of the house worked perfectly and the beds were super comfy too! Paula was on point with communication and made any questions we had a breeze. I will definitely be returning to this property next time we visit the Catskills!

Wow, what a place. We were looking for a place to just a cousins girls weekend, in the woods/mountains some where. We wanted a big open space to gather, sleeping for 10 and privacy, we knew we would probably be loud (we laugh a lot and aren’t quiet by nature), this place hit the mark!! We brought all our food and drinks, the home had everything else we needed. This was probably the best weekend we’ve had in a long time. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the deck, enjoying the peace and sounds of nature!

Taylor has gone above and beyond to create a really special place. My boyfriend and I had a really lovely weekend away with our pups and everything was perfect. We were able to cozy up after long days of hiking, cooking in was just as fun as eating out and we felt right at home. Checking in and out couldn’t be easier and Taylor is very gracious about making sure you enjoy your stay. Would definitely book again!

This was our second stay at Catherine’s place and we brought more family with us. We all had a such a fun time! Great place for a quick getaway to relax and unwind from the daily grind. The game room downstairs was enjoyed by all. We were able to get outside as well and sit by the fire in between the rain. Would definitely recommend Catherine’s place!

The house is really gorgeous. Everything was very new/modern, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen overlooking the stunning view out the back. The hot tub and fire put were nice amenities to enjoy. The BBQ seemed to not be working, but other than that, no complaints. Location wise, the property is located in the northwest Catskills, near Stamford, NY, and convenient to many hiking spots in the area as well as nearby towns. The property itself its up on a hill, in what felt like a secluded and private spot, which made it feel like a real getaway and retreat. In sum, recommend this Airbnb for the nice amenities, modern touches, and amazing view.

Cute house, open concept first floor was great for a weekend with our girlfriends! Hava was very responsive and kind!

The house is beautiful and the location was lovely, but there were a few things that fell short of the listing description. There was a strong mildew smell in the garage (even after the handyman aired it out), and some basic amenities were missing, like laundry baskets, food storage space, and charging cords for the speakers. There were also only two tall drinking glasses, which was tricky for a group. The outdoor living area shown in the listing wasn’t set up when we arrived, and we would have loved to enjoy it if the cushions were more accessible. That said, the host was very responsive when we reached out with concerns, which we appreciated. With a few tweaks to better prepare the home for guests, this could be a truly wonderful stay.

Awesome property for a weekend getaway from the city. Sonny made this place into a fun playground - the pond is amazing, the hot tub, sauna, and back deck felt like a spa, and we enjoyed the fire pit and taking a short hike to the creek. The house itself is simple but has everything you need and we even managed to order Uber eats once from Kingston. The area is great, and we enjoyed the villages and a nice hike in the area. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful view, great space for our girls weekend trip!

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Little Owl Teahouse. It’s a cozy and well-outfitted cabin with a super comfy bed and a great leather reading chair. Drank lots of the delicious mountain well water. Made breakfast in kitchen — love the pans and electric cooktop. Short drive to Woodstock for dinner. And oh the beauty of the surroundings - scenic views everywhere. Our two little doggies were happy to romp in the fenced in yard. Little too chilly when we were there but pool looks so appealing. Lisa is a proactive and super responsive host.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

John was a fantastic host and I am already looking forward to our next stay. If your looking for a great place to stay while staying in the Catskills then I highly recommend John's place.

We had a 3-day stay at Emma’s and Judd. The house is beautiful and has everything that we needed. Special mention for a historic restoration parts of the house (old school house). We had a fantastic time. The perfect blend of comfort, style, and location.

If you are looking for a tranquil Catskills escape, look no further. Jennifer’s home is cozy, tastefully appointed, spotlessly clean, and has the perfect mix of privacy plus proximity to restaurants, shops, and things to do. I’ve been on Airbnb for about 10 years now and never have a I seen a more thorough guidebook of local places to try. It ended up raining for most of our stay, but no matter - we enjoyed peaceful mornings having coffee and reading in the breakfast nook, playing board games in the sun room, watching wild bunnies frolic around the front yard, and drinking in the beautiful mountain and lake views. 10/10, we will be back!!

Vicki was an amazing host and her home was overflowing with charm. The perfect place for a peaceful escape to the mountains.

We had a mix of folk with us and the location was perfect for that. The space was very unique and we loved the goats in the back. Great location if you're into the low-key Catskill vibe and you're trying to fly fish and hike. Last but not least, Donald was a splendid host--had local recs, gifted a little care package when we were missing some things, and was responsive/kind. Would definitely suggest this place. 👌

Anna’s mountain house was the perfect weekend getaway. A group of 10 of us stayed very comfortably as a gathering of both adults and kids. The house was cozy with plenty of living and gathering spaces. Some of the highlights for us was going on nature walks on the beautiful property featuring a pond and a babbling brook that we could walk over on a boardwalk, the simple on/off gas fireplace made for wonderful heat and ambiance, well appointed kitchen was conducive to large group meals, and the furnishings throughout the house were so functional and so stylish. Anna herself couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful and responsive- going above and beyond to ensure our multi family weekend getaway went off without a hitch. We all agreed we will absolutely be returning. This location would be great during any season and we can’t wait to experience it during other times of the year as well. Thanks again Anna!

This is a super comfortable home , plenty of Room for everyone, kitchen is well equipped, Bathrooms are a good size and the backyard is very large , we enjoyed every minute of our stay, even during some rainy days!! We look forward to come back to this spot with a different group of Family members, we want them to discover how nice this area is .

Authentic farmhouse with modern amenities, very comfortable. Thermostat worked well. Roxbury is super-cute. Loved the record player and albums! Esther was very quick and efficient in refunding $ for dates we weren't going to use. Dining room and music room wall switches were tricky for us old people. There was a leak through the music room ceiling from the bathroom as we were leaving. Called Esther, hope it didn't cause damage.
