House vacation rentals in Rousson

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The house of Éric and Caroline is alone in the middle of untouched nature in complete tranquility but still so central that you can explore the surroundings all around. The house, or rather the whole property, is beautifully renovated and has retained its old charm. We loved the natural pool. The contact with Éric and by phone also with Caroline was very friendly and personable, thank you very much! We have already had a few houses in the south of France, this was definitely a very special one!

We had a great time at the Magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

A fantastic accommodation for a few days near the Cevennes National Park. Yannick welcomed us nicely and we felt at home from the beginning. The terrace and pool are great for warm summer days. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice house, very well equipped, close to the city center on foot, quiet location. Superb pool. We were delighted with our family stay. Recommended. We will come back without any problems.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Beautiful functional villa. The pool, petanque court, barbecue and terraces are great! There's nothing missing. Be careful, however, of the road to get there, which is not easy, and the address, which, depending on the GPS, sends you to the other side of the village (Google maps)

A peaceful oasis, wonderful for relaxing, sun all day, good amenities: terrace with seating, barbecue and loungers. Here we were able to switch off perfectly. Thank you Bastien.

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, nice and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting in peace, reading and swimming in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

Le Mas de la Source is a very beautiful relaxing place, picturesque and very well located for discovering the most beautiful places in the Ardeche to visit (Chauvet, Pont d'arc,...) or to practice (hiking, canoeing,..). Le Mas looks like a small village typical of the area with all comforts, a swimming pool and other entertainment. Anne, always smiling, will welcome you warmly and will always be present for the slightest question. Great stay for us, we recommend it!

Great stay in a characterful accommodation, in the heart of a beautiful little village. Sandrine welcomed us with all her kindness and the accommodation was even better in real life than in the photos. Stone building, on 3 levels, quiet and cool. Starting point for many beautiful spots. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The place is beautiful. The garden, pool, sauna, petanque court and house, everything is nice, clean and well thought out. The bedding is extremely comfortable. And Sandrine is so kind! Thank you again for this welcome and this great stay.

Staying at Marines beautiful home was an absolute joy. We were a group of 12 (6 couples) and there’s not many places that have 6 en-suite bedrooms. The amenities there are fantastic but we mainly spent our time round the pool and eating outside as it has a great garden kitchen. Marine also organised a private chef to come in and cook for us one evening, Chef Pierre was amazing and can highly recommend him, she also arranged our transport back to the airport.! Marine is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for her. We had such a great time that we will be back next year.!

Idyllic stay, immersed in nature, in a very comfortable, very beautiful accommodation! And sublime walks to take in the surroundings; rejuvenation assured!

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails just next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as a cherry on top. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was ready if we needed anything. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

The house is very stylish and comfortably furnished and has a spacious layout. All bedrooms are comfortable and have their own bathroom. There is also a very nice terrace with great views over the surrounding countryside. You can go hiking from the house. Otherwise, you need a car. We recommend it 100%.

The stay was enchanting. The house is very pleasant to stay in and everything has been well thought out. Nicolas is a remarkable host for his kindness, attentiveness and responsiveness (heaven is in the details, ;-) delicious croissants for breakfast were dropped off one morning by Nicolas). The pool is lovely and a peaceful environment allows you to spend nice moments there. Numerous activities are within a reasonable distance by car.
