We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

Bus station a 5 minute walk & train station 15 minute. An 8 minute drive to the hospital also. It is suitable for two people maximum, the Queen bed splits to make twin beds upon request. There is space for a couple, friends who don’t mind sharing a room or single guests. Cosy living room , Dining area and large galley kitchen.

Joining the air bnb community since sadly losing my dad to a battle with cancer, we have tried to create some positivity by creating something that supports the family finically and mentally. Centrally-located place in the heart of Barnstaple Town. With Breath taking estuary views in both directions, then past that onto rolling hills. Perfectly located on the 'Tarka Trail', only a short walk from the town centre of Barnstaple. Great transport links when working in the area / commuting.

Only 10 minute's drive from Barnstaple and 20 from Ilfracombe, with beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough, too. The apartment is a mile from the Tarka Trail (the most popular cycle route in the country). It is set in lovely grounds with a private balcony and a comfortable living area (sofa, armchairs and a large TV). The kitchen and dining area has an oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher.

Wow - what a gem! We had such a comfortable and peaceful stay in these elegant and stylish surroundings. Totally immaculate, with clear information and great comms to make it a seamless stay. And what a perfect location! Everything was walking distance and there were lovely walks in Rock Park and along the river. A boon to be able to park so close! Thank you for a fantastic and memorable stay, Christopher and Zoe - we'd highly recommend to others. Our batteries are now fully recharged!

A great stay at this comfortable house, within walking distance of the town centre. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our arrival easy and welcoming - these were really appreciated. We felt very at home and would definitely recommend the house as a brilliant base for exploring beautiful Barnstaple!

The appartment at the Old School House was perfect for us it as very clean and took our pet with no problems, parking costs were included in the price (you park in the public car park about 30 seconds walk from the property). Daniel our host was very attentive to our needs. We were only there for 2 nights but hope to be back for a longer stay.

We are a married couple who stayed for 3 nights whilst on a visit to family and friends who live close by. We also had our two dogs with us. The annexe was situated in the heart of the village and in a peaceful road with lovely surroundings. The annexe was very well equipped and clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely modern well equipped house. A perfect location for exploring the North Devon coastline. Very conveniently close to many supermarkets but still in a quiet road. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the grandchildren really enjoyed playing with some of the toys that had been left out. Thoroughly recommend this property.
