It is only 5 minutes from the reenactment site on Pumping Station Rd and also about 12 minutes from Liberty Mountain Resort. Other popular wedding venues nearby: Hauser Estate Winery, Adams County Winery, Lodges, Rock Creek Farm, Links. The apartment is close to everything yet in a quiet setting.

Civil War Farm House w/Heated (seasonal) Pool

Welcome to this historical Civil War Farm House. This stone home built in 1861 by Christian Shriver and was actively used as a field hospital during the war. Mrs Shriver prepared General Reynolds his breakfast on the first day of the battle (which he was killed). The Durboraw's moved here in the early 1890's and have remained here on the farm ever since. Please note, pool is open seasonably mid-May through mid- Sept. Please inquire to its opening/closing if booking around these times.

The property was amazing. Extremely peaceful. We enjoyed the privacy and the wildlife. We saw multiple species of birds, a beaver, several deer, and a frog! We only wished we had more time to spend here relaxing. Thank you for a great visit!

Where to begin with this review??? I don't know what Airbnb's standard is for hosts and homes but whatever it is, Tierra's place exceeds it. We will forever compare all short term rentals to this one because the bar has been set so high. The first few minutes of our stay, my wife and I walked around the home awestruck by the attention to detail of this home. Tierra goes out of her way with little touches that helps to enhance the experience at her home. I don't think there is anything Tierra hasn't thought of. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, relax, and feel at home away from home, this place is it. We can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay near Gettysburg! The unit was immaculate—truly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. It was light-filled, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed, including a coffee pot with all the fixings. Fresh linens and towels were provided, and the peaceful patio gave us the perfect spot to unwind each evening. The location was quiet yet just a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and all the Gettysburg attractions. Our host was wonderful and made everything easy from start to finish. We will definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

We had a brief but lovely stay at the Quilted Cozy! The guesthouse had everything we needed to feel right at home: kitchen tools, toiletries, and comfy seats. It's in a beautiful rural setting (complete with cows across the street) and an easy drive to both hiking in the mountains and excellent restaurants in Frederick. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area!

Gettysburg Farmhouse on 82 acres

We were in town for a volunteer event and the property was perfect for us! As an old farmhouse, it had the feel of Gettysburg. (IYKYK) The interior was clean and the books and memorabilia really added to the stay. It is within earshot of a major highway, but with the air conditioners on we never noticed. Also, the bedroom layout worked great for us, but two of them are connected with the only way to the second one is through the first. Not an issue for us, but if you had 3 couples staying, just be aware. We loved the spot and the convenience to the battlefield and town. The multiple, spacious sitting rooms were great to unwind after long days. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation!! Greg was a great host. Very responsive throughout the entire process!

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.
