The apartment is within walking distance of the city center, supermarket, bakery, butcher and delicatessen shops and only 10 minutes by bike to the beach of Scheveningen. The entire house has been recently renovated, preserving as many original details as possible.

On the outskirts of the city but very quiet in the middle of the meadows, you are most welcome in our AirBNB Aan de Kaai... From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Bakhuisje on the Lek

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

The Fahrenheitstraat is just around the corner which offers a wide variety of shops and cosy restaurants!

Apartment in Gouda with beautiful view

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! The train/tram station is very close by and 2 bicycles are included. Even Delft / The beach Scheveningen/ Leiden or The mall of The Netherlands are easy to get to..
